It looks too big.
Slouch® not included.
There is not a single part of that garment that is sitting in a flattering position.
The belt is actually making the fit look even worse!
Exactly my thoughts.
She’s even more stunning with dark hair. The dress is… too big? From the way she’s standing, it’s almost as if she’s trying to keep the straps from sliding off and the top from falling down. Meh.
ETA: Oh god. It’s another jumpsuit.
*scrolls back up, cringes*
Agreed. Her eyes pop with that hair color.
*scrolls back up, gasps in horror*
I had the same reaction. At first: that dress is unflattering and bunchy. Then: GASP, is that a . . . jumpsuit? The horror.
I agree about the hair. Very striking with her blue eyes.
Off the shoulder looks can be sexy/pretty, but these droopy sleeve/straps just look messy.
Yikes. She looks very much like a wax figurine. That dress is really weird — dated, fits terribly, looks a bit cheap.
I think she looks great, even though it’s all hate so far in the comments. It is slouching off, but in a Jessica Rabbit sort of way. Clean lines, simple yet fun. I think the slouch on her is better than the fit on the model. Plus I love that it’s pants!
My first thought was she nailed it.
Well I can’t say she doesn’t grab the eye. I’m sure she turned heads.
The front darts are a little odd, but they look better on her than on the model.
Points for an unusual pose, even though my first impression is that of an android whose power supply is critically low. “I am the Pleasurebot 9000. Please insert power cable in the port at the base of my spine,”
Also: Why does that “Empire” logo say “Box of doughnuts” to me?
(I had to google them to find out they were a big deal UK Film magazine.)
Mmmmmmmmmmm, Krispy Kreme!
I think it’s definitely one of those things where it’s striking at first, but then the longer you look at it the more you find wrong with it.
A Monet Moment.
If Julia Roberts couldn’t pull it off, you certainly can’t.
When “crotch in the wrong place” is just one of your problems, and not even the biggest, it’s time to start over.
That backdrop will go down in history as the worst backdrop ever.
I don’t know. There have been A LOT of bad backdrops lately. It’s almost as if there is a bad backdrop competition going on. Or a reality competition about designing backdrops, except every one is exposed for public scrutiny, and we are seeing all the losers.
I personally thought that paisley backdrop the other day was AWFUL.
I was getting motion sickness while I was scrolling down looking at the pictures.
Not feeling the dark hair at all.
The FIT. Oh dear gawd, the fit.
The dress is ill-fitted but I like the color. She’s very striking but I prefer her as a blonde.
I prefer her as a blond, too.
A fabulous dress that loses it’s impact because it appears to be styled to go with the cheap looking logo in the background.
I want a doughnaught.
Kind of a Gene Tierney thing going which is beautiful and works really well for her from the waist up…
The rest of the hiddy jumpsuit might work well in motion but it’s not working on the RC for sure.
I’m getting used to her with dark hair. I think I like it better, actually.
The combination of the drooping straps and bubbly darts is making her top half look saggy. The shiny fabric looks a bit cheap.
But the color is nice on her.
That beautiful hair and makeup deserve better.
Talk about bad fit.
She will never top her Golden Globes look IMHO.
Her excellent body is making that awkward garment look much better than it has a right to.
Also, did they reverse the darts from the runway look?; as far as it looks like it, a fortunate choice. Would have been even more fortunate if they had decided exactly what they were trying to accomplish with darts, her figure, and that bodice. It apparently was neither to fit it to her nor to construct a clean shape independent of her own shape.
I know. However, I would have told her to run far away from this outfit even in its original version. HORRIBLE.
This might be the most unflattering jumpsuit I have ever seen, and that is saying something.
I think she looks amazing. Interesting that she chucked the blond locks for dark….
The fit is atrocious. The bodice is terrible, and the pants are too wrinkled and voluminous on her. Her hair looks good darker, but the style itself isn’t that flattering, either.
I’ve been staring at this for quite a while, and can’t see the pants. Did she alter it to a dress? And then forget to have it hemmed? Beautiful girl, in an unfortunate garment.
Her top is wilting.
Hey, let’s put Julia Roberts into that thing and see what happens!
I’ve never wanted someone to go back being a blonde as I have with her. I know she dyed it for a role, but she needs to go back as soon they call “It’s a wrap!”
Shoulder straps like that make me twitch because all I want to do is put them BACK ON HER SHOULDERS. Why design gods, why?
She looks great with that hair color, but I don’t like the styling. The less said about that jump-dress, the better.
I hope she sent Julia Roberts a snarky note with a photo attached
Let’s see: straps constraining her arms, tripping..length pants…
Okay, I just hope she’s not required to do anything human..
She looks instantly better when she exposed her right side profile. Pretty face and make-up; the rest is pretty much a disaster though. And she needs blond hair.
I know what happened. Whoever steamed it before she put it on got distracted while doing the front pleat…
