  • Draco’s poorer cousin.

  • jilly_d

Nice suit. Now wipe that douchey look off your face and get your hands out of your pockets.

  • Sarah

Guys, I think that’s just his face. He has the male equivalent to Resting Bitch Face: Resting Douche Face. #the struggle is real

    • Glam Dixie

It’s sort of a resting Douche/Smarmy face thing. The struggle is indeed real.

      • demidaemon

Yes, it’s too bad really. He could be cute, but all you see is that face.

  • MW

The model wears this so beautifully that Douglas fades in comparison. It is a nice look though.

  • …can we get more shots of that model…?

    • butterflysunita

That model is fine. Always have a weakness for men with dark hair and blue or green eyes.

      • Ginger

OMG me too. That’s my husband, although his hair is now more grey than dark brown. That’s ok though. He’s still sexy as hell. 😉

      • mlle

I love dark hair and light eyes too.

  • Glam Dixie

Wow, styled EXACTLY like the model, looks good although it’s hard to tell about the rumpling and the fit with his hands in his pockets but no originality. The East German judge deducts points for that. Also, the model is wearing it so much better.

    • Grumpy Girl

This unified German judge deducts points for hands in pockets, too. (OK, I’m channeling my mother, but I know she would take off serious points.)

As myself I would be sad to note that without the hands in pockets, the pants are likely too long . . .

    • mlle

I was so excited about the combination of that pocket square with that shirt… until I saw that he’d cribbed it directly from the model.

    • VicD

      The model’s shoes are better.

      • Glam Dixie

It’s actually the one thing that Douglas has going on that looks better than the model to me. I really like those black shoes he’s wearing. YMMV, of course.

  • Vegas Girl

I realize he has nothing to do with picking it – but LOVE the shirt & pocket square!

  • hughman

It’s amazing how one little thing on identical outfits – like here how the tie is knotted and pulled tight to the collar – makes such a huge difference in the look between Model Boy and Vampire Actor.

    • Plus the cuffs on the model’s pants. So pretty.

      • barbarienne

To be fair, the model may have paperclips or something holding them in place long enough to take a photo. It may be because his legs are longer, but the pants look slimmer on him.

  • Nancer

That is a gorgeous suit! I want one for my boyfriend – if only budgets would allow such an extravagance. Of course, not wild about the cuffed trousers, but that is a minor adjustment.

  • Leonardo Dicaprio lite.

    • DuBey2

From the thumbnail, I thought it WAS Leonardo!!! Very handsome, in my book.

  • Capt. Renault

In Okinawa, belt mean no need rope to hold up pants.

  • MilaXX

Get yer hands out yer pocket!

  • SayWhaaatNow

This is not his suit. The model looks better because he has dark features that go well with the darkness/contrast of the suit. Booth has fairer coloring that is competing with the suit (and the suit is winning). He would have been better served by wearing something lighter colored to set off his features.

  • Qitkat

The new Headmaster nervously greets the boys on his first day. Knowing how they will judge him.

    • demidaemon

This sounds like a plotline for a gay porno.

      • Qitkat

Perhaps I have heretofore untapped talents 😉

        • demidaemon

It’s certainly past time to tap them, then. 😉

          • Qitkat

[blushing, nervously laughing, protesting innocence! but I’ve never seen a gay porno]
“Straight middle-aged woman brings fresh voice to the world of adult films.”

          • formerlyAnon

Gay pornos would be so much better if written and directed by straight middle aged women. (Said one.) Though I may be thinking of any witty period drama with lots of romanticized sexual tension – just with less clothing on the guys and more consummation – and the women needn’t necessarily be involved with that.

            (edited, surprisingly, for grammar)

          • demidaemon

I approve of this. The two of you should start up a new studio.

  • Patrick Cleary

He’s like a wee bitty Leonardo DiCaprio (who is wee bitty himself).

    • conniemd

I was thinking Leonardo’s kid. The eyes are very alike.

  • decormaven

Such a nice cut of cloth. This lad needs pointers on posing on the RC, though.

  • FrigidDiva

I have absolutely no idea who this guy is, but he’s pretty enough. Is it really cold out on the RC’s? Is that why ALL the male stars have their hands in their pockets? It’s an epidemic!

    • jw_ny

I think it’s mostly that they just don’t know what to do with their hands while on the step and repeat, plus being a bit uncomfortable. Women at least have the luxury of holding a clutch or putting a hand on a hip. Men don’t.

      • Capt. Renault

It’s easy enough to clasp your hands behind your back, which instantly brings you from looking like a schlub waiting for the bus to a sharp aristocrat watching his serfs.

        • jw_ny

That may cause some buttons to pop on these tight jackets, but yeah, I know what you mean…there are options. These guys just likely don’t have anyone advising them on how to properly pose.

          • Kayceed

I’ve done a bit of body language coaching for execs – I think the hardest thing for most people to do is simply stand with their arms at their side. Actors, however, I would think would have a few more ideas about what to do with themselves than mere mortals…

      • Jacob Bowen

I would TOTALLY have to have my suits hemmed so I could put my hand on my hip….

  • B_C_J

Peaked lapels are not my favorite. However he is nicely groomed & clearly putting in effort. Thank goodness he didn’t wear the model’s shoes. They do not go with the suit.

  • MannahattaMamma

BORing … man & suit, both

  • MoHub

Is too-tight suits the current trend? In my mind’s ear, I keep hearing the sound of ripping seams.

    • kimmeister

I think the cuffs look off on such slim cut pants.

    • conniemd

My first glance at the jacket, I wanted to start a pool on how many minutes it would take for the jacket button to pop. Seriously, fitting jackets isn’t hard, you use a size that fits you across the stomach so you can button it without popping out. Since apparently you can’t get tailoring for the rest of the jacket, you may have too ong a sleeves or too much shoulder, but the one thing that should fit is across the middle, that’s your starting point.

  • jw_ny

It’s a great look…too bad his mom wasn’t there to fix his tie, tell him to shave, take his hands out of his pockets…

I know it’s duplicating the model’s look, but for the style challenged, it’s better than putting pieces together that don’t go. As for the fit…I have to ignore some of the imperfections when it comes to borrowed clothes…unfortunate as that is.

  • MissusBee

Um, this is weird, but it’s like the pocket-stretch widening his pants is calling back to the smug grin doing the same thing to his face. Net effect: there’s a smug grin in his pants.

Never seen that before. Never want to again.

  • Kim Albrechtsen

I would say it’s a bad look, it’s just not a great look.

  • marlie

I wish he hadn’t exactly reproduced the look from the model. That said, I love the shirt and pocket square together. The jacket seems a bit snug, but I don’t know if it’s only because of “handses in pocketses.”

(Thank you to the bitter kitten who came up with that phrase.)

  • JauntyJohn

    Shoes on model: WANT.

  • JP

I like all the contrasting patterns, but boys, just b/c you’re wearing a jacket, doesn’t mean we can’t see that you’re not wearing a belt.

(Also, I have NO IDEA who this dude is, but looking at him makes me feel old)

  • Eric Stott

Not bad- though it does seem to suck out what little skin tone he possesses. A close shave would have taken this up a notch.

  • demidaemon

Question: Are these pants belt loop lacking? Because I need to now before I go on my “WHERE IS THE BELT?” rant.

    • PastryGoddess

There are no belt loops to be seen.

      • demidaemon

That’s what I thought. So no rant. This time.

  • Hysterectomypants

I can’t get past him looking like a creepy androgynous sexbot long enough to really fous on what he’s wearing. I’m sure it’s nice.

  • prettybigkitty

I think he looks pretty much perfect.

  • Linda Leeson

What is the recent deal with suits too tight to button properly? That button on the jacket will go off like a gun at some point

  • FridaStaire

Reminds me of the old days when Leo was pretty.

  • abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxqyz

i just dont see him making the cut, i meant it just won’t “happen”, he doesn’t have that star quality.

  • Clash D

Killer suit (on the model). I can almost feel the rich texture though the photo. LOVE.

  • DuBey2

That suit is a WERQ, in my opinion. And the styling. Come ON – just compare it to what 90% of the guys wear on RC!

  • Daktari100

This was posted, I believe, late on Thursday. So I’m considering this appropriate for “Little Sausage Friday” and for more than one reason.

  • JynxTheCat

    so cute. ADORABLE
