More like Masters of SMIRKS, amirite?
I love the clutch.
Naked shoes and beach hair with a formal-looking dress. If only it had the mid-calf hem length, it would fulfill the trifecta of current trends our Uncles can’t stand.
Wait! Not a dab of jewelry in sight. I think we can substitute lack of jewelry for bad hems in this instance.
and shoes which you are working too hard to stay in, and black as the color…pretty much the Uncles’ worst nightmare
Snoozefest is more like it.
It’s not setting the world on fire, but it works. I like the look better on her than the model.
I like the dragonfly detail, and the sparkly skirt. I’m not even mad at the shoes (I think they’ve worn me down) because her toes don’t look like they’re in too much distress.
I love that face. Minus the stupid firefly, the outfit is a perfect side accompaniment for it.
Must be one of those dresses that looks really amazing in person but no so much in photos… pretty boring. The lack of styling doesn’t help…
I don’t like the waistline of the skit, it adds bulk. Kilt probably knows why. It just doesn’t look right to me.
Yes fine, okay, but IS THE SHOW COMING BACK OR WHAT
Masters of Sex? Is this something about Masters and Johnson?
Yes, it’s an HBO show about the beginning stages of the investigation. Caitlin plays Masters’ wife.
Yep! On Showtime!
I like the dragonfly-wings cut-out detail, but would rather see this dress (or at least the top, if they’re separates) in a pretty color.
Top part is really cute but the skirt looks a bit like black artificial turf grass.
YES! Black astro-turf is what first came to my mind too.
And it looks like separates, and not in a good way.
Ah for some reason this dress reminds me if my days living in Paris 1997…I like it a lot.
Cute enough LBD and appropriate for the event but the styling is snooozzzzeeeefest. Awful hair – and those ^%$#$ shoes again!
OFF WITH HER HEAD!!
Nothing to truly recommend this look. LBD is standard, as are shoes and clutch. Is that hair considered styled? If so, I styled my hair when I ran my fingers through it this morning.
Don’t we all love the 80’s Ogilvie home perm.
Cute, interesting dress, wrong shoes (though I don’t have a problem with naked shoes on principle), OK makeup, but lazy hair.
This is a basic dress that could have been rocked with the right accessories. Better, more creative shoes, and maybe a fun feathery headpiece. Jewelry. I mean seriously, you could bitch this up and make it sing for well under $300-500 at a good vintage store.
I just feel such a strong need to say “bless you” ever time I see the name Thakoon.
I feel like the top and bottom of this don’t belong together and I hate naked shoes.
I don’t like where the skirt sits on her. It looks like it should either be higher or lower.
Ugh. That hair.
I like the clutch and the firefly, not so much the skirt. Overall, it’s much too black.
Beachy hair is everywhere. Why?
This top and skirt are not flattering on her.
Hate the naked shoe.
Honey, your hair is tragic. You would look stunning as a brunette. Also, it looks like the bottom of your dress got ripped off and you pinned a sparkly towel around your waist to hide it. Which is a shame, because the top half looks like the start of a really great dress.
I am not familiar with this actress but my first thought was bad bleach job. Also that is not her neckline but it’s possible I’m being misled by the awful hair.
