“It’s Marvin – your cousin, Marvin BERRY. You know that new sound you’re looking for? Well, listen to this!”

That being said, the pantlegs look far more tapered on him than on the model. What the heck? Huge honking lapels do not go with skinny pants.

      • HM3

Ahhhh love that scene. You win.

    • Neil Fortin

Amazing! only a master can tailor that fabric!

    • Fyolette

      the whole world of YES.

    • boweryboy

Shiny. Really shiny. Plus stank feet. P.U. The fact that he’s pretty hot and has an awesome smile is his saving grace.

      • Deac82

No-Show loafer socks have changed my life. Not sure he’s wearing them here, but they make this look possible w/o stank-foot.

    • myristica_fragrans

he looks like he smells really good.

      • Faerie Nuff

Except for his feet. But he is freakin’ adorable.

    • alyce1213

I have not idea who this is, so I googled: a British rapper. The suit is cool and fits well. The bow tie and eye glasses, together, are skewing a little Farrakan.

      • kimmeister

Any idea how his name is pronounced? Because in my head it’s basically “Tiny Temper.”

        • alyce1213

That’s how I’d say it. Or Teenie perhaps.

        • http://londoncameos.tumblr.com/ London Cameos

It IS “Tiny” Tempah, yes! “Tiny” like, in this case, “shiny”. :)

        • gabbilevy

He was really sweet when he visited Graham Norton, and his given name is Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu… try pronouncing that!!!

        • lrober03

          I think it’s more like Temp-uh

          • YoungSally

Not Temp-UH….or is that just when he thrusts? I know, snarky.

      • AmeliaEve

Nah, the tie is too soft to be Farrakhan. He is actually wearing a pleated front shirt with studs and treating this like a tux. I think it both elevates the look and also stays clean and simple so it doesn’t fight the vivid suit. Loving this.

        • alyce1213

Oh, I love bow ties — and it is a nice, soft one, not thin and stiff. I just meant in tandem with those type of eye glasses.

    • Imasewsure

I’m in love. Awesomely fun suit with nerd glasses… XXOO

      • what not

Yep, the glasses make the look, better than on the model. Though it looks like it fits weirdly around the hips.

    • SugarSnap108

That is one crazy fit on the pants (tapered?). But he is adorkable.

    • Miss wks

      You had me at………..everything…..

    • demidaemon

SO SHINY. I feel like I need sunglasses for this suit.

    • jen_vasm

I dig this. Wish the pants were a skosh less tapered and about 3/4″ longer.

    • MilaXX

I like. It fits his personality in a Pharrell Williams kind of way.

    • ashtangajunkie

    • In_Stitches

      He is one fabulous man.

    • Danielle

      MAN WERQ

    • Deac82

Love it. The hem of the pants + no sock slippers is the perfect whimsical touch. Its the Style Awards, after all.

    • Rand Ortega

Tack sharp. I should hate that plethora of shiny, but he looks so stylish & cool, I can’t do a thing but praise the daring.

    • Noah

Wow. Somehow that suit doesn’t look cheap. He’s a miracle worker!

    • marlie

I like it. It works for him. BUT… the suit could use a good steaming, and the pants are a teensy bit too short.

      • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

I prefer the full length pants on the model.

    • Trickytrisha

Such a cutie with loads of personality, just right for that suit! For some reason I love the high waters.

    • Synnamin

Hate the lack of socks and showing ankles (I know, I know, I sound like it’s the 1850s), but he is wearing the shit out of this suit. Fantastic color.

      • lundibleu

I’m with you on the socks/ankles things – no socks (or wearing trainer socks below ankle) is fine with shorts, but not trousers.

    • lundibleu

Eh… The top half is fab, the bottom half is … not. I don’t like the skinny fit trousers in shiny material, plus they’re a wee bit too short AND he has no socks on which is just unnecessary. It’s coming off as stylish rapper meets preppy boy in deck shoes, and that combo just doesn’t play nice in my head.

    • MzzPants

      Oh, hells yes.

    • nowlo

I’ve noticed a lot of dudes on the red carpet aren’t wearing socks these days, despite their high-water hems. Let me be one of the first to deplore this trend.

      • Kent Roby

It’s either that or guys with their pants WAY too long and puddling; why is correct trouser length an unattainable goal for male celebs?

      • Jacob Bowen

That’s been a trend for the past year or two, and I am IN LOVE with it! I HATE wearing dress socks because when I get home and go to the gym it’s just me making more laundry. And, if you have the correct hem length no one should actually know!

    • Mismarker

My 3 year old son likes to wear a little black bow tie around the house sometimes because it makes him feel “snappy”. Tinie is looking pretty snappy here, too!

      • Jacob Bowen

Your son sounds AWESOME! I have been trying to get my 4 year old nephew to wear a bow tie but he just screams, “bows are for girls!”

        • Mismarker

He is awesome! I bought the bow tie for Christmas pictures and he wears it now with just about anything. Flannel shirts, sweaters, t shirts, his Batman costume from Halloween. “Mom, am I handsome?” It’s pretty cute. And I am totally unbiased. :)

          • Jacob Bowen

That sounds JUST like my ideal toddler. I LOVED to dress up…in my mother’s clothes when I was young and I totally used to say, “Momma, am I as pretty as you?” I’m not expecting my nephew to go full on fashion addict, but if I could keep my nephew IN the cute clothes I buy him I would be happy enough. I tell him everyday, “YOUR SUSPENDERS ARE ADORABLE!” but he refuses to wear them.

      • lundibleu

My nearly 7yr old wears one occasionally, though this is mainly because he is a big fan of Doctor Who. He also spent several weeks rocking a felt fez, even decorating it with tinsel over Christmas.

    • Jacqueline Wessel

That is one fine looking suit, but I like the cut of the pants on the model better. Fabulous color.

    • laura

      I love it.

    • macwell

I totally applaud his use of color and personality on the red carpet. That alone makes him head and tails above everyone else.

    • Dadoong21

The sheen is a bit overkill, but it might look great in person – sans the flashing lights reflection/flare/whatever.

    • quiltrx

I don’t know him, but he’s working this suit. I can’t deal with the high hem plus bedroom-slipper shoes, though.

    • ballerinawithagun

Love it! Back in the 80s I talked my boyfriend into a red tux. It was from Dayton’s Oval Room Homme, very high class. For some reason I’m thinking it was Hedi Slimane but I’m not sure if he’s been around that long. Absolutely stunning tux in red wool with satin lapels and trouser stripe, very traditional except for the color. It was originally outrageously expensive but marked WAY down because it was red! He had the panache to carry it off and we had a fabulous time when he wore it. His mother, of course, told him he looked like a pimp.

    • d4divine

      Why is he praying?

    • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

I am so glad there are perfect people like him to wear these runway outfits. I mean seriously, he is pulling this off brilliantly.

    • macwell

Cool suit. Good artist. HOT Body – Google him! ;)

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

It suits him – and I know he’s been very keen to regain my good opinion after he lost it a week or so ago by talking about the lavish kitchen in his house that he’s never cooked in.

    • formerlyAnon

He looks good. Like the color, don’t mind the shiny at all. For personal preference, I don’t love loafers that look like slippers or the bare ankle look with a suit, and I wish the pants were a tad less tapered at the ankle – but that’s my whims.

    • AC Simons

I love it. RuPaul would look great in this, too.

    • B_C_J

The color is wonderful. He is wearing it well. My only criticism is that the pants are too tapered. They throw off the proportions of the jacket.

    • KinoEye

A colorful, somewhat risky ensemble on a boystar? I’ll take it. The glasses are adorable.

    • http://dentsdelait.tumblr.com/ Nancy Marion

Adorable! I just want to keep him in my pocket.

    • Gatto Nero

Those are some Thom Browne-length pants on him — not so on the model.
      He’s making it work.

    • Alyssa

I love that he showed up to style awards wearing something that shows style…he didn’t take the easy (albeit classic) route of just wearing a tux.

    • julnyes

I actually love it – he is adorable and chock full of personality.

    • Sam Smith

I say yes, he looks adorable.

    • MyFavoriteColorIsGlitter

Against my better judgment, I’m kind of into this.

    • Crystal

      Omg he’s so cute!

    • lalahartma

    • anonylind

      He’s adorable.

    • amaranth16

Who is this? I love him already.

    • Haley Buchanan

I don’t care what he’s wearing. That’s the cutest boy I’ve seen all day. I pretty much stopped critiquing his look after the frames and the smile.

    • sunflower

I wish he hadn’t put his hands in his pockets because it ruined the line of the suit, making it look weird and puffy. I think he looks cute though
