Can’t wait!! Adore Delano is kind of hysterically bratty and Ben De Le Creme is already a favorite and a dead ringer for Michelle Visage. All I get from Vivacious is dude in a dress. Can’t wait to meet the next group next week.

    • Snailstsichr

I’m seriously crushing on Ben’s shoes.

    • THIS week, as in tonight!

      • Glam Dixie

nope next week for the next 7

    • Deac82

I would agree with you, but that’s what Vivacious is going for…90s retro club-kid genderf–ck. In one of her online videos he explains that the look is about impact, not being fishy. I appreciate that.

      • fananafanafophalec

yeah she’s werqing it a la kevin aviance. CUNTY!!

      • Josefina Madariaga Suárez

Vivacious is fierce as shit and has a walk like no other.

      • I get — and appreciate — the whole queer subculture “Paris is Burning” thing, but damn if that headpiece didn’t look straight outta Hobby Lobby.

  • @Biting Panda

    So. Much. Tucking.
    I’m in, of course.

    • Danielle

Seriously, I need to know the name of Laganja’s waxer.

  • NYCGlamourpuss

Can’t freaking WAIT till 9 PM!

  • Anna

OMG. Yes. I’ve been home sick, which happened to be the day my building was testing the alarm system. So I have had fire alarms shrieking at me, intermittently, all day. Some hysterical and fabulous entertainment is in order.

    • StellaZafella

I’m on vaca this week…it just happened that way…I swear!

  • Mila Hermanovsky is on Drag Race??? That’s all I see when I look at Kelly Mantle.

Gia Gunn’s head doesn’t even look like it’s on the body. I’m a little frightened by the photoshopping.

    • demidaemon

I’ve heard her in the trailers and, let me tell you, her voice is going to get annoying REAL quick. I’m ready for her to sashay already.

      • tetisheri

      • Chickadeep

Strikes me as the worst kind of insecure, vapid little shit-stirrer. I was ready for her to go before we’d even met all of the other contestants.

  • Kent Roby

For the premiere, my home girl Bianca made a gown while a single song played; she’ll do well with any costume-making challenges, as well as Reading, and the Snatch Game.

    • MzzPants

I saw that video! She’s my costuming hero.

    • Kent Roby

Lawd, one of the preview clips has Bianca going OFF on Santino (she’s heard, but not seen in the clip), so she (Santino) might try to send her (Bianca) away ASAP. BTW, I have generally had problems with Santino’s judging, he often seems to think he’s judging PR, applying “normal” rules of taste level/hem length/etc to the girls who are intentionally going for total “camp”. We shall see. Looks like another fun season though!

  • Laura Renee

How many ways to arch that spine….

    • Kent Roby

These queens have clearly learned all the important lessons from ANTM (as have most of us Bitter Kittens). Hell, it takes every ounce of my self-control to keep from giving “Broken-Down Doll” any time I’m in a random photo.

      • Jacob Bowen

DYING. Who HASN’T down “Broken-Down Doll”?

  • jw_ny

some fab queens there, and a whole lot of attitude! I’m thinking it’s gonna be a fiery season…hoping anyway.

  • MilaXX

    • MzzPants

Right? It’s been a loooong dry spell between seasons. And, IMO, the level of inventiveness far outweighs what Project Runway has become.

      • tetisheri

At least we had the Lost Season to help up get through the drought.

      • Kent Roby

I’ve been saying for some time now that we need a PR version for drag; where the gals make all their outfits from scratch. However, it might be hard to find enough contestants; Ru even said last night that she just does not understand the young queens who can not sew.

  • Sarah Thomas

    I’m already on Team Vivacious.

    • Just for the hat.

    • Aerialgreen

“How do I know I’m America’s next drag supertar?, hmph!… easy, *opens fan* THEY ARE NO COMPETITION!” ~ Vivacious on her “meet the queens” video.

      Me: *swoooooooooon*

    • Kent Roby

Girl got to work out that entrance, though; the problem with her reveal last night was hysterical! But I will pay plenty of coinage just to see her STOMP that runway!

      • Introspective

        BITCH PRANCED!!!!!! yaaaaaaassssss!!!!!!!

      • The first proud black woman to have ever gone to Westeros. Get. It.

  • rissa42210

  • mjude

I do not get this show which makes me so sad. I so love a good drag queen.

    • You can watch online at Logo’s website, same as I do every Tuesday morning.

      • boweryboy

I second this. I don’t get LogoTV, and I don’t have time to watch it in the morning. It’s absolute torture holding off reading TLo’s recap until I’ve watched the episode but well worth the wait.

      • Kent Roby

Another option: if there’s a gay bar near you, they are probably showing it; then you’ll also have the benefit of being entertained by all the reaction of the audience! We had a great time last night at my neighborhood watering hole.

    • AlmostClassy

I don’t usually do corporate interaction, but Logo is one of the few companies I’ve made a special point to thank publicly for making it easy to watch Drag Race. Bought some stuff off the sponsors as well, specifically because I appreciate them not being jerks about accessing their content.

  • Deac82

Going to be quite the sing-off with at least 2 of them — Adore Delano was on American Idol and Courtney Act was on Australian Idol.

    I’m pulling Courtney Act.

  • indigospade

Yay you guys finally announced the queens! (known about it for a while but been waiting to discuss with my fellow kittens <3)

Ben and Milk are my favorites so far. Ben is crazy talented, and Milk is that Tammie/Sharon kind of weirdness the show always needs.

Also a fan Darienne and Courtney. Adore and April grew on me after watching the first episode on Facebook.

    • demidaemon

I’m totally pro-Darienne, as she’s the hometown girl for me! Have to support our local superstars!

    • Josefina Madariaga Suárez

I ended up liking Adore against my will, and April has the whole camp thing down cool. I liked Laganja too (I liked her because of the name), but it’s true that her personality is a little too much to take… I hope she doesn’t go into Mimi’s route of weepy meltdowns and attention whoring to the extreme.

  • Missy

Ahh, the winter was drawn, dark and dreary, but hark; the light of fabulousness appears and RuPaul’s Drag Race is back!

Soon! Soon there shall be spring and flowers and light again. But for now there shall be bling and tucks and tights again!

  • miscorrections

I have to throw snaps out to Miss Ben! She’s a local favorite and a sweetheart to boot. Totally love her!

  • StellaZafella

The queens are already all over the place, out and about…this is big time now. People are talking more about drag queens around here than they ever have.
I’ve got my ice cream ready…but I’m gonna need a bigger spoon ’cause, gurrrlll, these bitches are dishin’ it out!

  • Miss wks

Oh My Lawd! There be suh TWISTED bitches up in here….

  • sojourneryouth

Ahhh, RPDR is back. Life begins anew!

  • holdstillnow

Can’t wait for this! Ben De La Creme is one of the most fabulous, talented and lovely people I’ve ever had the honor of calling friend. I’m so excited to watch him tear it up!

    • Aerialgreen

Oh, and he is quite the hottie too 😉

      • Jacob Bowen

        I second that.

  • boweryboy

Ben De La Creme looks like Michelle Visage. That could work in her favor.

  • LJCdoc

can’t wait. Will rewatch despite having already seen (most) of the first episode on the app. Already have strong favorites, plus one pushing my ever last button already, but in general, this is a sickening group and it’s going to be awesome!

  • ScarlettHarlot

AAAAAHHHH! Cannot wait! Any other Bitter Kittens see the Battle of the Seasons last month in DC? I did, and holy crap, what a show! Carmen Carerra did a burlesque number, Ivy Winters was INSANELY good, and surprisingly, Phi Phi did a great job!

  • MK03

I finally have Logo so I can watch the show as it airs for the first time. SO EXCITED!!

  • VioletFem

I already have my favorites: Courtney Act, LaGanja Estranja, Milk and Kelly Mantle. I can’t wait to see tonight’s premiere!

  • Cyprienne Zed

Every time I think I’m Team Milk, I see Vivacious and almost change my mind. But then… Milk. #doesabodygood

  • KayEmWhy

Better lookin’ group this year. The show is on point again.

  • Eric Stott

I’ve GOT to root for miss Darienne Lake – she’s from Rochester N.

  • Jacob Bowen

I LOVE Milk, I have been looking her and the rest of the Dairy Queens up online since I first set eyes on her…and her ballerina boyfriend is GORGEOUS. I also LOOOVVVEEE Courtney Act, Bianca, and Ben De La Creme!

  • fananafanafophalec

    bianca’s dress wins this round

  • Mariah J

Woah Courtney Act may be the fishiest queen I’ve ever seen…I’m super stoked this show is back, one of the only things worth watching anymore 🙂

    • tetisheri

I know! I couldn’t figure out why a woman (either biological or trans) was walking into a drag contest. I mean wow.

So for Ben De La Creme is my favorite though. I like that zany. Of course, it could get old fast.

  • MzzPants

I’ve been thinking Ben de la Creme or Bianca Del Rio could be front runners due to my first impression of levels of polish. But we’ll see. There appear to be some seriously talented bitches. It’ll come down to versatility and who wins Motha’s heart.

  • marlie

Courtney Act is really pretty. Like, “girl next door,” not “costume-y” pretty.

  • BookManFilm

    MILK for the win.
