This looks like a fun outfit.

      • Rhonda Shore

Everyone’s trashing this but i think she and her outfit are adorable! She’s having fun and i’ve always liked the olive skin/blonde combo.

    • Lori

Those shoes + the current weather = stupid. Other than that, the outfit is pretty good. Especially if we’re grading on the Ora curve.

      • SayWhaaatNow

I don’t care if they only spend 3 seconds outside between walking out the door and jumping into a limo, and they’re wearing high-fashiony clothes – if it isn’t appropriate to the weather, it looks stupid.

      • MoHub

Obviously bare-legged, too. I’m waiting for her kneecaps to fall off.

        • NYCGlamourpuss

Right? I was on my way into work this morning in my parka and my Chewbacca boots, with the special Sir Edmund Hillary tread on the bottom. And to my right, I saw this very well dressed woman wearing wedge heeled pumps, literally trying to scramble over a solid hill of ice that used to be a snow drift where a car was parked. Desperately trying to climb over it, and frantically waving her hand as she tried to grab onto the pole of a parking sign. I almost helped her – *almost*. Then I saw her shoes, and thought, “Nope. She needs to learn the hard way.” And god bless her, she got a hold of the parking sign pole, and managed to haul herself over the ice drift – and then wobbled and toddled her way down the street on – let me repeat – wedge heeled pumps. She looked like Miranda Priestly and Bambi had had a baby. Utterly ridiculous, no matter how great her clothes were. The motto here? Right now in NYC, if you can look fierce and dress properly, kudos – I wanna be you! But if you have to forego the great clothes for some practicality, then that’s the way it goes. It’s not worth a broken leg over.

          • jtabz

This! One cannot look fierce when one is hobbling like a just-born fawn.

            • NYCGlamourpuss

And not even a precious unborn just born fawn!

          • conniemd

If you are wearing an outfit that requires heels, then wear your boots and carry your shoes to work in a bag. You are so right about the bumps and piles that you have to climb over. I decided I’m going shopping for a pair of Uggs after work today because we’re getting another foot or so on Thursday and my stylish looking boots have flat soles and I really need boots with treads to walk without tripping and sliding.

            • NYCGlamourpuss

Well, be careful of one thing, love – because I used to have Uggs. They will keep your feet toasty warm. BUT, they don’t have tread, and they don’t keep your feet dry – they’re not waterproof. I learned that the hard way by having to walk through a puddle I couldn’t avoid, and my Uggs filled completely with water (ankle deep puddle and knee high Uggs, and they still just filled right up). Miserable! They do make ones now that are sort of a combo Ugg and Duck Boot (a la LL Bean), so see if you can find those. The brand I have is called Cougar, and I can’t tell you where they’re normally sold. I got them at a little shoe place on Third Ave. around 72nd street – they were on clearance, and they were my size, so I was very fortunate. What you want is something that’s both waterproof AND lined to keep your feet warm, which these are. Other good brands to look at are Merrells, and Sorels, also North Face has their own line of boots. Don’t do what I did – I had two pairs of boots – Uggs for warmth, and Wellies for dryness. But the Uggs weren’t waterproof, and the Wellies weren’t warm (even with that liner). So your best bet is to hunt for a pair that has the best of both, with good tread on the bottom. Good luck!

Every girl I see in bare legs from Fashion Week makes me laugh aloud. I have worn a skirt approximately 3 times since New Year’s because that’s how many times it’s gone above freezing. GIRLS. If weather-appropriate black tights ruin your outfit, then it wasn’t a very good outfit to begin with. Also: bring out the pants and badass boots, for the love of God.

    • AC Simons

She looks like a knock-off Gwen Stefani in these pictures. And her feet look cold. That’s a lotta look.

      • JauntyJohn

I was getting “Emma Stone on a bad day” from the thumb nail.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOctocornNetwork International Model

I want to make cat macros out of those pics.

    • Danielle

      Girl’s gotta be freezing.

    • Jessica Freeman

      Shoes+Coat=No.

    • Sarah

Her hair is much improved from former iterations, which is nice to see. She looks pretty and happy, but I wonder what kind of crime her feet committed to be sentenced to SuperMax Prison Bondage Shoes.

      • sojourneryouth

SO agree. Her hair usually looks like grown-in smacked ass, so it’s at least nice to see her hair looking good.

    • Latin Buddy

      Mutton dressed as Turkey

    • @Biting Panda

Did she tackle someone on the runway and take their coat? Bitch has balls.

    • Guest

Looking at the model “if looks could kill” springs to mind.

    • Youbeguilemenot

Glancing at the model “if looks could kill” springs to mind.

    • Josefina Madariaga Suárez

She looks like a fun gal and I love her personal style, but I hatehatehate her hair color and I think it’s about time she tries a different color.

      • kimmeister

I think her coat just fell in love with your avatar.

        • Josefina Madariaga Suárez

That’s appropiate, because I kinda hate it, even if it’s perfectly Rita.

    • http://armchairauthor.wordpress.com/ LesYeuxHiboux

I appear to be in the minority, but I want her coat. And her shoes. I promise to never wear them together outside the house.

    • JasmineAM

Girl, I can see your tracks. Fire your shitty stylist.

      • alyce1213

I just said the same — no excuse for that.

      • another_laura

Is this about the hair extensions? Cause that does look bad on the top of her head.

        • Sarah

Yeah I see that now, when I said it looked “better” I meant that it didn’t seem as fried on the ends, but now she’s got trubs up top. Oh well, she’ll get it eventually, maybe?

        • JasmineAM

Yeah, I should’ve been clearer. Tracks is a slang term for extensions.

          • another_laura

I didn’t know – too old, I guess. I’ve only used “tracks” for the marks on heroin addicts’ arms and, well, whoa, you know….

Back to the hair – I don’t expect it to look natural or anything, but at least get it attached well!

    • MoHub

Looking at where her right hand is in the first picture, I have to wonder whether the cold set her bladder off.

      • Lori

Either that or she’s trying to warm her hand up to prevent it from going numb because she doesn’t have the sense to wear gloves.

    • alyce1213

Tights and booties, Rita! It’s winter, you’re wearing a fuzzy coat.
Her hair extensions are visible, it’s painful to even look at it. She really needs better a hairdresser.

    • boweryboy

I can’t with her. She always looks so harsh and trashy to me.

      • formerlyAnon

What redeems it for me is that she almost always looks cheerful and as if she’s having fun. It’s the harsh, trashy and sullen that bug me.

      • Evan

Me neither. She’s like a poor man’s Rihanna. And why is she always being featured? She hasn’t really had any success outside of the UK if I’m not mistaken.

        • boweryboy

I think she’s featured because she loves fashion, even thought her choices are train wrecks.

      • demidaemon

My problem with her is that, despite the photos being labeled, I am always trying to figure out if it is actually her. And that is a problem in the kingdom of celebrities.

    • Joanna

Is it just me, or are all of the stars out there morphing into one another? I thought this was Emma Stone at first, then Gwen Stefani.

    • mjude

I’m sorry but I wore 2 pairs of socks this morning. it is NOT that warm in NYC. good grief.

      • marlie

I dug out the wollies yesterday and today. They’re usually only worn a couple of times a season, and I’ve definitely gotten more wear out of them this season than I’d like.

    • MilaXX

That hair by Pookie and ‘em is just sad.

    • marlie

Damn, her feet must be cold, but this is a kind of fun outfit. Definitely FROO (For Rita Ora Only), but she’s working it.

    • Anna

So much try, so little style.

    • SugarSnap108

It’s 27 degrees. I’m wearing faux-fur-lined boots. This is ridiculous.

    • decormaven

Love that coat, but the bare legs are a real disconnect.

    • luludexter

she couldn’t wear boots with that ensemble?

    • Imasewsure

      I love this chick

    • adi

seriously ,who is she $ WHY r we suppopse to care?

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

she’s popular in britain i believe as a singer. i like her cause she looks like my daughter’s best friend. i’m always showing her rita’s pictures and saying oooo look, you should wear this!

    • irielle

I agree with the shoes being silly, but I love the pop of the plaid under that coat.

    • Ann VerWiebe

Someone should feel completely free to send me that coat!

    • formerlyAnon

I love this outfit for her. Shoes are seasonally inappropriate, but other than that it’s perfect.

I must continue to know little-to-nothing about her because going simply by her photos I find her immensely likable. I don’t want to ruin it.

    • Trickytrisha

Cute, but too chilly for comfort.

    • Jai Piper

      Sheila E!

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

i love her! premium lady percussionist and east bay home girl.

    • AceOn6

It’s 20 freaking degrees out and she’s heading into a place where she’s likely to get her toes stomped. Reality check for the stylist is in order. Coat’s nice.

    • KT

Cute! I really like this on her. I feel bad for those feet though.

    • quiltrx

Ugh, I can’t with this one. Another one who has that Paula Patton smug look on her face for no discernible reason.

    • Jacob Bowen

To me she’s Rihanna-lite…but I really want to like her.

    • http://scialocco.wordpress.com/ Shylock

      Young Cruella De Vil?

    • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

she looks adorbs! i even like the shoes for some reason. glad i don’t have to wear them, though.

    • Madam Von Sassypants

I have no idea who she is outside of the TLo universe (bitterverse?), but I thoroughly enjoy many of her outfits, including this one.

    • http://www.lippsisters.com/ Deborah Lipp

IT’S TEN DEGREES IN NEW YORK FERFUXAKE!

Rita! Stop doing… whatever it is you’re doing to your skirt, put on some temperature-appropriate footwear, and we’ll be fine.
