It’s Book Day, Kittens!

Posted on February 04, 2014

As if you couldn’t tell by the OUTRAGEOUS amount of poledancing we’ve been doing lately.

EWTBMODM final coverWe wanted to take a moment during this insanely happy and long-awaited day to let you know how much we appreciate the support of all our Bitter Kittens, which is why we dedicated the book to you. If you bought it, thank you. And if you love it (which we think you will), please sing its praises to all and sundry on any platform you have, from your Facebook page to your favorite message board. Let’s get the word out on this one, darlings. It’s our baby and we won’t rest until everyone in the world loves our baby.

Yeah, that sounds a little psycho, but so what? We’re pumped.

Also, here are our book tour dates so far. And if we’re not appearing anywhere near you, pester Barnes & Noble to invite us to your area of the woods, darlings. They listen to that sort of stuff.

    I got shipping notification! Hurrah!

    • R.A.

      Me too! So excited.

      • Rhonda Shore

        Me three!!!

    • Alyssa

I got my notification yesterday and it should be waiting for me when I get home!!! So excited!!!

    • JulieTy

I haven’t, and I ordered mine MONTHS ago!!!! If it isn’t here by Thursday’s NYC event, I will be bereft.

      • demidaemon

Same, sadly, though I cannot attend any of the signings. I am bereft.

  • StelledelMare

Got it today and I am LOVING it so far. Already spread the word on Twitter and Tumblr.

    • Elizabeth Davis-Simpson

Same here. Lots of page turning and knee slapping going on.

  • Bexxx

CONGRATS UNCLES! Seems you two have had a great year or so now- kudos to all of your hard work in both your personal and professional lives, glad to see it pay off!

  • PlethoraofBooks

So excited! I keep checking its tracking obsessively.

  • Valdri8

Yippee! yippee! Both copies just showed up at my doorstep in the bowels of Southern NJ!

Going to be there tonight with bells on! Well, not really bells, but likely frozen nipples, which might be somewhat close under the right conditions.

  • Gotham Tomato

Should we come to your book signings with singles to stuff in your g-strings? I just want to be prepared:)

    • another_laura

I want to see video of that.

    • MilaXX

Maybe just make it rain so they can keep signing.

    • Gatto Nero

  • jenno1013

See you at the B&N tonight!

    • Aidan B

      Me too!

  • ErikaM812

Started reading it this morning during my bus commute. Loving it so far! Congrats, TLo!!

  • Frank_821

good luck with the book tour. if only you could swing down by the southwest down here in Austin.

The only nuisance is my copy won’t get to me until next week.

  • boweryboy

YAY!!! My copy should be in the mail when I get home. I CAN’T WAIT!!! You can tell I’m not excited about it or anything like that.

  • Aidan B

See you tonight, Uncles!! Can’t wait!

  • LJCdoc

goddammit, I’m going to be in Minneapolis the week BEFORE your signing. Please make it to Southern California, boys!

  • Stella Zawistowski

Mine is listed as “preparing for shipment” even though I ordered it a couple of weeks ago. Dare I hope that means demand is crazy?

  • leahpapa

  • @Biting Panda

I work next door to a Barnes and Noble – So that settles it, you’re coming to Atlanta.

That said, my easy proximity to said B&N, and my aversion to online shopping, are why I have not pre-ordered. I want the thrill of walking in, smelling the coffee brewing, finding your book on the shelves, talking loudly about it to anyone nearby, and slamming it down onto the counter with verve and joyous gusto. Like the fangirl that I am.

    • Jessica Freeman

I was also going to wait to purchase in store, but could not resist the magnet and possible art work.

Atlanta would be great…I’m from Charlotte, so not an impossible day trip!

    • HM3

I, too, shall pester the local Atlanta B&N. HOW can they ignore the entire southeastern corridor of this country?!

      • @Biting Panda

I checked online, this B&N beside me is not currently stocking it, but the B&N near my MIL is. Which, frankly has me confused. I would have assumes the Buckhead scene would be more of a target audience, but what the fuck do I know.

        • largishbearishAtlish

too bad Oxford Books (R.I.P.) is gone (former buyer there) this would be the PERFECT place for that book (can you *imagine* the scene???) wow!

    • mjude

I feel the same way about going to B&N. a short drive from the office. I will be buying my copy soon. it would be a miracle if they showed up in Iowa?? a bitter kitten can only hope.

      • Alyssa

I feel it would be just as miraculous for T&Lo to come to Oklahoma…we don’t get very many book signings out here!

        • Beth Swartz

          Amen to that!

      • jilly_d

As a fellow Iowan, I’m not holding my breath, lol. I’ll be hauling ass up I35 on the 23rd, Polar Vortex be damned!

        • cocohall

Would you be so kind to swing through Northfield and pick up my son in college so he can get me a signed copy? I’m sure he has nothing else planned! Kidding. Drive safe and bundle up.

    • decormaven

Yes, I want to buy it at the store and babble on to strangers about what a super book it is.

      • formerlyAnon

And the clerk. Ask for help finding it and babble. They repeat stuff to other customers, sometimes.

        • decormaven

Oooh, good ploy! Will have to work that angle.

        • @Biting Panda

Maybe we can slip it onto the Staff Recommends shelves? : )

      • 3boysful

        My plan as well.

  • rkdgal

Such big love for you two today — congrats, congrats, congrats! Your poledance is well-deserved and completely expected by your proud, yet steadfastly Bitter Kittens. We’ll buy your babies and give them out to all of our friends and relatives who could use a huge dose of fabulousness!

  • Sarah

I got a book about the history of Soul Train for Xmas, which has been making my world a better place for over a month. I cannot wait until my shipment arrives to let Tom and Lorenzo take over delighting me from Mr. Cornelius. Congratulations, Uncles! You are blessed, and so are we!

    • MilaXX

      Is that Questlove’s book?

      • Sarah

No I think it’s a Time-Life thing because they own the DVD rights. Mostly just a pictorial – I have the DVD box set too, but the photos in the book are incredible. Favorite Show of All Time.

      • AC Simons

His is Mo Meta Blues, and it’s a great book. I loved it.

        • Sarah

He also did this one: Soul Train: The Music, Dance, and Style of a Generation.

          • AC Simons

Oh thanks! I need to read it. He’s a terrific writer.

          • bitchybitchybitchy

            I need that book-STAT

          • Sarah

Would you believe that after this convo I got home last night and surprise! I find out that VH1 is airing “Finding the Funk” which was INCREDIBLE, and hosted by Questlove. I swear I just sat there with my mouth hanging open and my fiancé quietly left the room as I drooled over actual interviews with Bootsy, Bernie Worrell, George Clinton, OMG!!

  • Jessica Freeman

I got my book ship notification and have been informed it has been DELIVERED. I cannot wait to read it! Congrats Uncles, you deserve it all!

  • Anna

Bah, mine says “preparing for shipment.” I’m about to go all Miranda Priestly demanding the unpublished Harry Potter manuscript on Amazon.

    • Jessica Freeman

and if you can’t find it, don’t bother coming back!

  • CMSmith1848

Would a tour date in Germany be too much to ask?

  • another_laura

I got my notice from iTunes – can’t wait to read it! Damned office job….

I am eagerly awaiting a San Francisco date on your poledance calendar!!

  • BForte

Is there a specific place/email address we should use to pester B&N for more dates?

    Connecticut Bitter Kittens unite!

    • keldy

I believe each store independently sets up its own events, so I called my local store (Chicago, not Connecticut) and they gave me an email address for the customer relations manager at that store. Good luck, Connecticut!

  • JauntyJohn

    Gigantic, heartfelt congratulations.
I really want to be you two when I grow up.

  • keldy

How is Chicago not on your tour list?? Figuring out how to contact my local Barnes & Nobel NOW!

    • Lexie

Fellow Chicago resident here! I’m down for a support rally :)

      • keldy

Just emailed them – fingers crossed that they decide to try to persuade TLo to swing down from Minnesota at the end of the month! Who wouldn’t want to come to Chicago in February (it’s positively tropical compared to MN)! Now that that’s done, I can hardly wait to get home to pick up my amazon delivery (strategically did not mention to B&N that I didn’t actually buy the book from them…)

      • vitaminC

Maybe we could get them at Unabridged instead?

        • Lexie

That would be awesome! It seems like they have some sort of arrangement with B&N though.

    • Karen Belgrad

I started a twitter campaign to bring them to Chgo-land. TLo RT’d me. My day is complete :)

  • MilaXX

I’m tapping out of the festivities tonight. Yesterday’s snow made the decision for me. My choices are; driving & attempting to find parking in CC where the overzealous PPA gleefully ticket, or trying to find a parking lot and paying through the nose, versus catching the bus, which means driving to the bus stop and spending an hour on the bus. I was planning on the second option but snow plows rarely make it to my street which means catching 2 buses instead of one on no so clear streets and sidewalks with a condition that makes balance iffy on dry ground and scary on ground that may or may not have black ice.
Fellow BK’s and dearest Uncles, have fun & well done!

    • Aidan B

Boo! Is regional rail not an option where you live? I made it into the city OK today on my train.

      • MilaXX

Still need to drive to regional rail & the train station near me is not exactly safe at night past rush hour.

        • Aidan B

Sorry to hear it. Hopefully there will be a next time!

          • MilaXX

I’m bummed as well. Hopefully there will be another opt. Maybe a K of P signing when the weather gets warmer. Believe it or not when there is no snow on the ground K of P is easier for me to get to than CC.

    • marlie

Bummer! :( Sorry I won’t get to meet you tonight.

      • MilaXX

I’m bummed I won’t be seeing you all as well.

    • foodycatAlicia

Being safe is a better option.

  • cmb123

So excited! My book should be waiting for me at home and I have emailed my Barnes and Noble requesting something in the greater Boston area! So excited for you both! Congratulations!

  • Jane Donuts

HUGE CONGRATS! You guys are an inspiration. Enjoy every second. Can’t wait to read your book!

  • Rand Ortega

Philly BK’s & PUF’s. Please take lots of pics & let us out of townies know where to find them! It’s always so lovely to put faces to posts! Gracias!

    • Aidan B

      Will do!

    • decormaven

Yes, there must be photos of the BKs. Looking forward to seeing the events. Guys and gals, have a blast! We’ll be cheering you from the virtual lounge.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

Since I have two weeks before the D.C. signing, that should give me enough time to plan a passable look for the event….note to self: start looking on closets NOW

  • deb

Just downloaded the Kindle version from Amazon…. your book is now in the Cote D’Azur, France! Looking forward to cracking it open in another hour!

    • formerlyAnon

      A truly fun fact!

    • 3boysful

Damn! And the book, great as it surely is, can’t even appreciate that. I want to be in the Cote d’Azur!

    • Kent Roby

Fun! Incidentally, I’m smiling at the mention of “cracking open” a Kindle, much like when Ellen Degeneres pointed out that people still use the circular motion for someone to “roll down” their car window even when it’s button-controlled!

  • Jen

It’s sitting on my desk taunting me that I have 3.5 more hours of work.

  • Cee Layton

Congratulations, such an amazing achievement! I will be buying my copy at your book signing in DC. CAN NOT WAIT!

  • IMNAngryLiberal

Started reading it last night on my Kindle — can’t wait to get home from work to finish. Nice work, guys!

  • KarenFK

Mine arrived early yesterday! I started reading last night and my kids kept asking me what I was laughing at. Congrats Uncles

  • Angela_the_Librarian

Still waiting for shipping notification. Can’t wait to read!

  • Kate4queen

it appeared on my iPad like magic last night! Am reading it already and enjoying it! Big congrats!

  • bitchybitchybitchy

As a longtime BK, I couldn’t be happier for both of you, and I’m really looking forward to meeting you and getting my copies signed in DC on 2/20!
Wishing you both much, much success and love-MMMMWWAHHH!!!! Consider yourselves hugged and air-kissed!

  • Tigrrl

I can’t wait, mine is on its way and should be in my hot little hands tomorrow! Wheeee!

  •!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

Congratulations! Waiting on USPS as we speak.

  • Susan

Mine was shipped yesterday, I can’t wait to get it!

  • housefulofboys

Bought it. Plan to love it!

  • Emily Myers

I am so excited to order this book! One of my friends sent me a picture all the way from Texas, when she saw your book in her local bookstore, because she knows how much I love you guys. Congratulations!!!!

  • Kate Andrews

Woo hoo! You’re published, you’re really published! I’ll call my local B&N in Richmond, because we want to see you here.

  • Chuck Barthelme

    CHICAGO, Bitches!!! :)

  • monty

What about Los Angeles?! You can’t promote a book about famewhoring without coming to The Capitol!!!

  • ovarB

Oh my goodness!! So excited about this!! Just yesterday it seems you were posting about Madame Bennett and cooing over her LV suitcases and the carefully placed slip of paper between her resting heel on said LV cases. Very excited indeed!!

  • Saturnine

    All good things; Mazel, mazel.

  • Miss wks

The MALL OF AMERICA? you bitches have ARRIVED!

  • Amy Ignatow

Just ordered my books! Hope your personalizing them, and sorry I won’t be able to come out. I blame snow.

  • Jenna Ledford

Like a good bitter kitten – I ordered mine today!

  • The Versatile Chef

Goddam it, get your fabulous asses to LA!

  • AC Simons

I should have it in my hot little hands when I get home from work TODAY!!!

  • BarniClaw

Just got the email that my book is waiting for me at the bookstore down the street. Gonna pick it up on my way back from lunch. Hooray!

  • Carleenml

I’m a librarian. I love it when fabulous people become fabulous authors. Bravo, darlings and may your book be on every library shelf in addition to all the personal ones. xoxo

    • MarieLD

Librarian here too and I’m considering gifting a copy to the library. Favorite line so far (I’ve only read a few chapters) … Page 47… “Give your followers a nickname that pays tribute to their unique and little-understood form of pain that you, their favorite celebrity, understand on a cellular level.” Well, I am a Bitter Kitten.

  • MzzPants

Oh Happy Day! Married and now a baby! It’s been such fun watching you ride this wave. May the crest be yet to come. And may there be energy bars in your bags….a book tour sounds exhausting.

  • formerlyAnon

Got mine last night! Kudos to y’all, the design & production team and Mr. Alex Cox – it’s not just funny but it looks GOOD.

O.k. Austinites. I’ll be inquiring @ B&N early next week. My default would be in Austin (Arboretum location) BUT if many of you guys are Sunset Valley or Round Rock types, let’s get a consensus among us so we concentrate our requests on one location.

    • @Biting Panda

(I love Round Rock, TX. After opening a Logan’s there, I briefly pondered a permanent transfer.)

      • formerlyAnon

        Texas’ loss.

    • sagecreek

Arboretum works for me, but really, anywhere! What about Bookpeople? They bring in a lot of authors.

      • formerlyAnon

I’d prefer Book People, but I had assumed they mentioned B&N because there is some kind of relationship established, there.

  • prettybigkitty

Mine copy is in the mail! Yay!! Come to the NW!!!

  • mickiemonkey

Come to Seattle! You can make fun of how we wear Gortex with business wear and Seahawks scarves with everything.

  • ellabob

Congrats – you guys make me laugh out loud everyday and that is a wonderful thing…

  • NDC_IPCentral

With your inaugural signing event tonight, you’ll be well-practiced for Manhattan on Thursday – if you can mush north in the weather. I’m looking forward to seeing you, buying the book and meeting fellow and sister BKs on Warren Street.

Best wishes for loads of sales and laudatory reviews – both outcomes are thoroughly deserved.

  • sagecreek

Mine is ordered, and I’m loving watching the poledance from your POV! Go get ’em, boys!

  • Stefanie Argudo Mackenzie

I got mine this morning! It’s in my sweaty clutches!

  • NDC_IPCentral

Say, I’m just wondering on the proper etiquette for attending a book signing. Isn’t it preferred that the book purchase occur there, at the bookstore where the signing is occurring? To bring a book purchased on Amazon or elsewhere into the Barnes & Noble is sorta…. poaching space on the premises without giving them the bit of commerce that they’d like the event to produce.

I’m expecting to pick up the book from a well-stocked table on Thursday night.

    • CatherineRhodes

Good point. Is it tacky to bring the copy we pre-ordered on Amazon to the Barnes and Noble signing event?

      • vitaminC

        Buy. Switch. Return.

        • formerlyAnon

          Or, buy. Switch. Gift!

          Your circumstances allowing, of course.

    • sagecreek

Depends on the venue. Some require you to show a receipt to prove that you purchased the book there, others are more lenient. If you haven’t already bought it, I’d pick it up on Thursday.

      • NDC_IPCentral

Oh, I was absolutely planning on purchasing it there at the store where the signing is occurring. In fact, I’m getting subway info right now, since I have to take the train into Grand Central Terminal from IP Central and then either the 4 or 5 or the Shuttle and the 3.

Were I B&N, to be honest, I’d be a bit miffed if I were hosting and no right-there book purchases resulted.

        • cocohall

Excellent point!!!! I used to work in publishing, and yes, they are not holding these book signings out of the goodness of their hearts. It is a very difficult business to be in and if we want stores to continue to host these type of events (or much less EXIST) we need to shop there. I love my Amazon, but I also spend a small fortune at my local bookstore because I’d hate for them to go out of business. I love browsing the shelves and reading the staff “picks” cards. That said, I live in California with no immediate hope of a book signing, and I wanted my magnet so I ordered TLo’s book on line. Shallow shallow me!

  • CatherineRhodes

Writing a book on celebrity without coming to Los Angeles — WTF?

  • acevedob

When are you coming to Boston?!

  • andi56

Yay, the D.C. Barnes and Noble! : )

  • JulieK

My first email of the day was to let me know that my digital preorder was now available! Can’t wait to dig into it. Congratulations, guys!

  • wisdomy

    I’m expecting mine today! Congratulations!!!

  • Kent Roby

I’m embarrassed to say that I have JUST NOW ordered the book written by my Uncles Dearest (I kept holding off in case they happened to stroll past my place in the French Quarter; I planned to buy them martinis in exchange for a copy!).

  • frcathie

Buying it right now! Thank you so much for all you do, I am more fabulous for following you daily.

  • DKBB

Many, many congrats! It’s a joyously entertaining read!

  • A Shiny O’Connor

    ‘DELIVERY ESTIMATE Wednesday 12 Feb 2014 – Thursday 13
Feb 2014′ – That gives me around a week to finally organize a fashion/pop culture exclusive book shelf at visitor eye line.

  • Jacqueline Wessel

Unless some horrible thing happens at work on Thursday, I’m planning to congratulate you both in person.

    • A Shiny O’Connor

Jealous. Unless Ireland suddenly blows across the Atlantic, TLo shall be the wind beneath my laptop keys.

  • queeniethebold

i am a dinosaur (by choice) — not on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. ad infinitum ad nauseam.

That said, i work at a branding/advertising agency (i KNOW) (i really am considered an anomaly here), and have told everyone i know here not only about this blog but also about your book. i have every intention of doing my share to keep sales of your magnum opus up, up, and away! Mazel tov and felicitations!

    • Kent Roby

Of course, I read that as “Mazel tov and fellacio”! :)

  • Lilyana_F

    YAY, guys! I’m SO excited!

  • Sarah

Will you be visiting any independent bookstores? I’m sure there are plenty who would love to host you.

    • Qitkat

Shout out for The Tattered Cover in Denver. They host authors several times every month.

      • SRQkitten

Tattered Cover is the best! One more reason why Denver rocks! it’s probably a good thing we don’t live there, just get occasional visits otherwise I surely would be broke.

  • Janet B

Mine came in the mail today!
Can’t decide if I should read it all immediately or try to make it last a few days. (Much like a box of chocolates)

  • Constant Reader

I just downloaded your book on my Kindle, darlings. Dinner may be REALLY late tonight…

  • yellowhannah33

    L – O – N – D – O – N

    Book tour.

  • 3boysful

Emailing my local B&N to request your delightful presence in Charlotte!

  • Rand Ortega

Got my Kindle copy, got my hardcopy for keepsake value. Can’t wait to dig in tonight! TLo, thanks for the fun & may your success only grow! Mazel! Next stop, your own series on IFC right after Joe Zee’s!

  • Alexina04

Shoutout from a Canadian Bitter Kitten! Congratulations to the both of you! I bought my copy today and I can’t wait to start reading. It will definitely be the highlight of my week :)

  • YoungSally

Next Step — NY Times Book Review!! Right up there with Freakanomics, Gladwell and Bittman.

    • NDC_IPCentral

So, who will the reviewer be, dare they hope (or fear) that it will be Michiko Kakutani? Or Janet Maslin? Or will Cathy Horyn step in to do the honors, given her fashion beat?

      • Lisa_Co

Cathy Horyn just left the NYTimes last week so no chance of her doing the honors.

        • NDC_IPCentral

And she just suffered a bereavement; her partner, the co-founder of Liz Claibourne, died the other day. Obit in today’s NYT.

  • NDC_IPCentral

A pragmatic question for The Book Tour destination wishes. If I’m not mistaken, in these here different times for the printed word, it may be that the authors – not the publisher – pay for the tour travel. I could be wrong, but I know some other authors who seem to have to do an awful lot of their promotion of new books themselves. If I’m wrong, and I hope so, then let Penguin Group open its coffers and spring for airfare, taxis, hotels and grub in lots of places.

    • @Biting Panda

  • MikeW_Vegas

It was waiting on my front step when I got home for lunch! SQUEE!!!!

  • John11581

Just bought my copy today and can’t wait to dive into it. Congratulations to you both! Us Bitter Kittens couldn’t be more proud.

  • unbornfawn

Congratulations! Mine arrived on my doorstep today. I’m clutching it to my vitals as we speak!

  • SarahBeth

Eeep! I got the notification from amazon early this morning that it is waiting for me on my kindle! I can’t wait to dive into it tonight! Congratulations TLo! <3

  • Dunrie

Congratulations to you both! Your book magically appeared on my Kindle today. So excited! Thank you for making my days and now my Kindle more fabulous. XOX

  • rainwood1

Congrats on the book launch. Just one question, T Lo. Will B & N let you sign your book if it wasn’t purchased there? Every book signing I’ve been to required that you buy the book at the store if you wanted it signed by the author. I’m assuming it’s true for you as well but thought I’d ask.

Best of luck on the signings and Fashion Week.

    • SRQkitten

When Carl Hiassen came through our area a while back, the B&N that sponsored his visit insisted that books be purchased there or at another B&N. It annoyed me, as much of what they do does but understand why. I still miss borders.

      • bitchybitchybitchy

I love Carl Hiassen-I have one of his books signed by him when he did a signing years ago at a small local bookstore chain (Olson’s Books) that sadly is no more.

        • SRQkitten

He’s so cool and funny! Really nails our Flori-duh politicians and officials righteously. He was also kind enough -even though B&N was explicitly clear about not allowing any personalized inscriptions – to sign a specific inscription in a book for a fundraiser for our agency.

          • bitchybitchybitchy

Hiassen’s books are among the few that have made me laugh out loud in public.Time to reread them!

  • Peeve

Yay! My Kindle copy of the book has been delivered! Can’t wait to read it–seems like I pre-ordered years ago!

Edit: BTW, congrats, gents! Hope the book sells like bagels!

  • F&M Writers House

There are Writers House events on all the dates you are within 3 hours of Lancaster- including tonight! We will just have to have you back to do a reading and a signing. I’ll be in touch!

I think after that icy cold visit to the frozen northlands (although this winter that’s a significantly large portion of the country), y’all should consider a trip south. FLor

  • Kaytee

Mine is here!!! Two chapters down but I had to stop and say YAY!!! All of you BKs who don’t have it yet, run don’t walk to your nearest bookstore or internet store and get it NOW. Congrats on a job well done guys!! Enjoy your time.

  • QuietHarper

Just got back to my hotel after *attending* the book signing. Guys, you are exactly how I imagined you – funny, snarky in that wonderful gay-uncle way. It was a lot of fun listening to the question and answer session as well. Congrats on the successful delivery of your first book. I spent the entire train ride back to Ewing immersed- desperately trying to not laugh too loud lest my fellow passengers think that I was deranged.

    • formerlyAnon

      Thanks for the report!

    • Kent Roby

      I’m so jealous!

      • QuietHarper

It was a fun event. The amusing part for me was after Lorenzo inquired as to where I was from, and upon hearing that I was from somewhere very far away(!), them saying ‘you didn’t come all that way just for us, did you?’ Well, why yes, I did. Of course, it doesn’t hurts that my current project site is only an hour train ride from Philly.

And not trying to *intentionally* make anyone jealous. Well, mostly not. ;).

  • Sara__B

I just ordered my copy. Can’t wait!

  • DeTrop

Mazel Tov. This is so exciting for you and all the BKs.

  • sockandaphone

After a semi-rough day at work today I came home to it! Its hilarious so far. Congrats TLo!

  • NurseEllen

I am storming my local B&N tomorrow to demand that they accommodate the TLo Book Tour. I will stride in, wearing a pair of 4″ heels, skinny jeans, dark glasses, freshly styled hair, a killer bag with the requisite pop of color, and a couple of “handlers” who will shoo away those pesky paps. As Peter O’Toole said in “Lawrence of Arabia”: “NO PRISONERS! NO PRISONERS!”

  • ankali

It should be waiting on my iPad! Congratulations, PUBLISHED AUTHORS!

  • Amandack

Congratulations! I was so happy to find my copy in the mailbox this afternoon. If only I weren’t smack in the middle of my first year of law school, I’d have read it cover-to-cover by now.

  • Alloy Jane

Congrats! I can’t wait to buy this 😀

  • CMSmith1848

Just received shipping confirmation from German Amazon!! Yeah for international sales!

  • ChaquitaPhilly

  • AnniNoone

It arrived yesterday (the 4th). I love it already. All the congratulations!

  • largishbearishAtlish

My dear beloved BK Uncles…just whatever you do- do NOT pull an Armistead Maupin (true story, I was there) and demand the B&N turn off the registers because the sounds of the register is disturbing your readings…(or Q&A in your case). So are you ‘with a bullet’ on rising book sales on Amazon yet?

  • Tigrrl

I just got my book, it’s beautiful! I cannot wait to dive in as soon as I put the Mini Bitter Kitten to bed.

  • Sunshine16
