BCBG Max Azria Fall 2014 Collection

Coat porn with some random bellybutton peepholes.. A bit of an odd combination..
Love the boots too.
The bellybutton peepholes are there for when you are wearing your gorgeous coat indoors, to help keep you from getting overheated. Fashion is merely concerned for our health.
I’m seeing more sternum than bellybutton.
The second look is a stunner. Not… sure how I feel about that giant fluffy coat.
It looks like Mongolian sheep. It took me a while to figure out what was going on in that picture though. At first I thought the bottom half was a reflection.
I was struck by the second look, too, and wondered how stunning it must be minus the muppet. Then I saw the black version toward the bottom and was shocked by how chic it is! I would wear the shit out of that.
I think you’re right. I’d wear either (minus the muppet.)
I found the white one better, the stripes are less vibrant. I’d love to see that one without the fur collar.
That giant fluffy coat just makes me laugh. It’s like something a stunt woman would want to wear to protect her when falling.
Not sure how I feel about this. There are few pieces I like, but most of this is just editorial. There are some nice things but most of it just looks like blankets.
Maybe Julie Dogblankets found a job?
I feel underwhelmed, too.
I really love the idea of just wearing blankets as clothes … then again the appeal increases drastically when you live in a place that’s consistently -40 degrees like I do! I just want to crawl into that huge fuzzy coat and hibernate there until winter ends.
If that Bradley Cooper photograph counted as coat porn, I feel like this collection is the hardcore stuff they keep behind the counter.
Read that in Edna Mode’s voice.
The first one looks like a coat of pubes.
I’d prefer that to animal fur… also that would make an awesome band name….
Love the oversize clutches, the camel coat and the cape coat below it. I think it would be kind of fun to try on the ginormous yeti coat, just to see what it feels like. More realistically, I’ll just wait for Gaga to be photographed at the airport in it.
I expect super-sharp minimalist tailoring from this label. Throwing a sheep over your shoulder gets in the way of that.
And PETA wept.
some would work for me during the polar vortex
Well that coat would certainly keep me warm for the next few winter storms.
That’s a whole lotta fur. The dresses remind me of Mila’s style
Some nice pieces, although I am not fond of the HoJo color scheme.
I like the stuff that’s *not* 1978 partially-striped ski sweater inspired.
Really interesting to look at. Not so much to wear.
The first look….is RIDICULOUS. That “Cruella Deville” collar is hilarious and the rest of the jacket is just as bad.
I’m purring over the ones with color stripes.
Second to the last…is the black lacy thing beneath a skirt of dress? Regardless, that’s pretty much the only thing I’d be interested in here.
It’s all fab to me.
Reminds me of Ghesquiere at Balenciaga. And I mean that in a positive way.
I know that commenting on the styling gets old – but why the pink eyeshadow? It makes them look like rather chic people who are wrapped up in blankets trying to recover from a nasty winter virus.
What really thin models wear on the days they feel fat. Pretty shapeless.
Tedious and contrived…nice fabrics, colors. The shapes…no!
Most of the outerwear kind of discourages the use of one’s arms, no? How strange.
Apparently fur is back on the menu this fashion week. For some reason this reminds me of Jackie Kennedy.
It’s back because no one has been throwing blood on the wearer of furs. I’m not saying that’s the right thing to do. It’s not. But it does discourage the wearing of fur.
I’m sure these clothes are really expensive, which is a shame because they’re really, really ugly.
It’s a good thing I’m not invited to some of these fashion shows. I would have a very hard time not cracking up at some of these cracked out clothes. Plus, fur. Lose.
Lumpy. That’s all I can think of. All these clothes look lumpy.
Wow. Not one ‘wearable’ item in the entire collection. And frankly every model in the lineup looks exhausted, pinched, and not having fun.
I really like this. The boots are lovely and the lines are elegant.
I laughed out loud when I saw these. I’m sorry.
This is full of wow.
