Somebody order this greasebag a shower and shave, STAT.

  • boweryboy

Everything here is unflattering from his greasy hair and questionable grooming to the textured polyester knit (assuming but not likely) shirt and Pop Pop trousers. The shoes are the best thing here and even those look cheap.

    • misstressofsylar

I call it wimpy facial hair.

      • teensmom99

Hair and facial stuff (that’s not hair is it) are so overpowering that I can’t even have an opinion about that jacket.

      • ShaoLinKitten

I think the facial hair would be OK if he got rid of the stuff on his cheeks, which is stranded by his inability to grow the hair that would connect is to the rest of his beard. Also, his mustache doesn’t touch his goatee. Sad, since I love a good beard, and he would look so hot with one, but if you can’t grow it, just shave and spare us all.

  • hughman

“And as you all can see, fortunately the tracheotomy did not leave a single scar.”

    • random_poster

Yes. It’s such an odd neckline, and really kept me asking what exactly it is I’m supposed to see on his neck.

      • Shawn EH

The collar, but it would probably look even worse over the lapels.

  • Danielle

He looks like the love child of Orlando Bloom and Antonio Banderas. I can dig it.

    • charlotte

      And Inigo Montoya?

      • WendyD

That shirt should prepare to die.

    • barbarienne

Though I do want to say to him, “Stop trying to be the next Orlando Bloom. What you’ve got is excellent in its own right.”

  • His jacket is made up of all the cigarette ashes he chain smoked before the red carpet when he should have been washing his hair.

  • @Biting Panda

“And this spot, here, this is right where I like to be licked.”
I am fluent in subliminal messaging.

    • quiltrx

How hilarious…I went right to the lickability of his neck in my post as well! We got your message loud and clear, Luke.

  • Sarah

That jacket looks like when Tobias Funke wore Maeby’s blazer. (As in: it’s cut for a lady.)

    • teensmom99

Oh a Tobias reference. You’ve made my day.

  • mmebam

    Casino manager realness

  • Jaeda Laurez

His hair looks so…slick. Blegh. I would prefer a plain white shirt under the jacket, but I love the jacket and pants.

  • ojosazules

This reminds of the Meryl Streep black pants and sweatshirt outfit from the other day.

  • Clueless_Jock

God bless Armani but his clothes are a bit dated.

  • formerlyAnon

Not that shirt with the jacket. Neither are my favorite of their kind (shirt kinda lounge lizard, jacket too unstructured), but really not together. Also: prove to me that whatever kind of cut you’ve got in your hair is worse than slicking it all back with too much product. It’s possible, but I’m dubious.

  • Deedles

  • WendyD

I can’t with any of it. He’s baseline gorgeous and everything is ruining that.
    The shirt is so atrocious.

  • marlie

The outfit (ok, the jacket) has potential, but failed in the execution. He should come over here and just take it all off.

(I sat through almost the entirety of Desolation of Smaug whispering “OMG, he’s SO hot” under my breath every time he came on screen. I’m pretty sure my bf thought I was crazy.

    • DamiaRain

Glad I wasn’t the only one mesmerized by his presence on screen – his scenes I just stared intently at him – who knows what he was actually doing (and, were there other characters?!) *SO DREAMY*

(although am not loving the look here – but it’s fine cuz it’s him =D)

  • jw_ny

I’ll give him an ounce of credit for trying to be fashionable and put together, but that’s the wrong shirt, and I don’t know if that is his jacket. Also, with the cut of the jacket and his hands in his pockets, he looks hippy.

  • River

I think he looks dapper as fuck. Well done, you scrumptious man.

  • MilaXX

    YUM. I like it.

  • suzq

The jacket is too short. The waist is halfway up to his armpits.

  • OK, so it’s just a nominations photocall, but fuck, there is casual and then there is just bad. He is not the boy for this kind of Eurotrash look.

  • Loramir

Ew. I’m glad he went for the black pants, at least? And non-visible ankles? The runway version just screams DOUCHEBAG, while Luke’s version just sort of says it in a normal tone. The pathetic facial hair doesn’t help.
I just can’t see the appeal of guys whose hair looks like it would feel all sticky and greasy and nasty. Can you imagine running your fingers through that?

    • demidaemon

I get more skeevy personally, but it’s all in the same general area of impressions, right?

Also: Hair = ick. You would have to wash your hands every three minutes, which would seriously kill the mood.

  • crash1212

In general, I am not loving the new cut of jackets for the mens these days. They all seem too small and cut too short…or something – my terminology may be off as I am not a mens wear maven. First I thought it was just not fitting him properly, but it looks the same on the model. At any rate, I don’t hate this look, but I’m not entirely sure about his choice of shirt. What is that? A V-neck that wanted a collar? I am confused.

  • kimmeister

I can’t think of any scenario in which a collared thermal shirt would fit the bill, but this is definitely not it.

Also, those shoulders need that jacket to be ~2 sizes up.

  • Imasewsure

What a beautiful jacket. Not loving it on him but I applaud his taste anyway

  • decormaven

Can’t appreciate the cut of the jacket since his hands are jammed in pants pockets in first shot. I think the sweater in the RW look would have suited him better. The small v in the neckline is not flattering and competes with the way the lapels are cut on the jacket.

  • dancinfool

    Coat is too damned short.

  • Jacob Bowen

Wow, BAD fitting jacket…but boy is he gorgeous (minus the greasy hair).

  • Shawn EH

Love that jacket, not sure about what he’s done with it, but it’s nice! Nit polos are a style challenge.

  • quiltrx

Damn, I am such a sucker for a suprasternal notch! Men with beautiful ones should really wear open collars more often. It’s an odd shirt (I like the model’s better), but for lickability I will let it pass!
I really like the jacket, ambivalent over the full-of-product hair and the pants. But him, yes…cut me off a big slice. The one with the suprasternal notch in it.

  • PeaceBang

At first glance I thought it was a sleestak in a suit.

  • Drooling over the jacket, I wish I could get one RIGHT NOW for my husband. I would, however, have him fasten both buttons.

  • jen

    Yum. That is all.

  • kim bunchalastnames

    man. mancandy.

  • ShaoLinKitten

He’s purty and his shoes are shiny. That’s all the good things I have to say about this picture.

  • d4divine

    Eat’em up yum!

  • bluefish

So totally over the lack of men’s grooming! Shave, boys, shave — or sport a proper beard, but do pick a lane. And for heaven’s sake, wash your hair! Yuck.

    • demidaemon

I’m pretty sure he washed his hair. It’s what happened after–either by him or his hairstylist–that ruined it.

  • smayer

  • nycfan

That jacket seems too short for him, or maybe it is shrinking from what looks like could be a raging case of BO of an unclean man.

  • Lucas

He’s so gorgeous. LOVE this look. Wish the slacks had been cut more like the model’s, though – that would have been too perfect.

  • M312

  • demidaemon

He looks like your skeevy uncle at the family reunion, and I clearly remember that he has looked much, much better before. The facial hair is really working against him here.
