The visible zipper alignment isn’t the most attractive thing, but otherwise, she looks pretty.

  • megohd

Okay, I’ll jump in. I like this. Has a rocker vibe while still staying simple. I would have done something different with the hair, though. And more color on the lips.

  • ThatVampinLady

Serving up some mod Bond Girl realness.

  • Danielle

I’ll drink the Kool-Aid and give this a thumbs up.

  • Blair Sylvester

Don’t love the neck or zipper but she is mostly pulling it off

  • MissusBee

On-theme and fun without being costumey. Love the make-up, love the accessories (black shoe-boots not usually my thing but, as a 21st Century salute to the go-go, I dig). Dress is fierce, great color for her.

Not digging the hair. A chignon would have been fine, but small plaits are weird.

  • Sam Smith

Not crazy about the booties, but the dress is super cute and perfect for a Beatles event.

    • GeoDiva

      Agree….hate the shoes.

      • demidaemon

        Exactly what I posted.

    • kimmeister

I’m not crazy about them either, but I’m not spitting venom at the mere sight of them like I usually am with booties-with-a-dress.

  • MissFern

    no. wrong color, wrong shoe.

  • In_Stitches

Everything here is smartly played, but I can’t muster up enough emotion to actually say that I like it. Messy hair could have tipped it into the win column.

  • Hoffa_w_HerHead

Better than the hot mess dress she wore to the actual Grammys

  • @Biting Panda

I feel like one of the Mara girls is going to be mad at her for wearing this first.

  • Bexxx

Kill Bill themed outfit. Go up a size. Why no lipstick. Give me your jewelry.

    • Faerie Nuff

It also reminded me of the Bruce Lee/Kill Bill jumpsuit, but in dress form. I like it.

  • Trickytrisha

    Yeah, yeah, yeah!

    • EEKstl

      Yeah, yeah, yeah, YEAH! ;-)

  • hughman

McDonalds worker on Deep Space Nine.

    • 3boysful

      I love you.

  • DominoEstella

I love this, that dress is adorable and I really want that ring

  • Jen

    She’s so pretty :)

  • SugarSnap108

I don’t think this is a great color for her, but she looks good. This exposed zipper bothers me much less than most — probably because it’s not a surprise!exposed zipper on the back of a gown.

  • EEKstl

Dress is cute but booties are not working. They’re just not committed.

  • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

Some white plastic go-go boots would have been perfect!

    • cocohall

Yes! I was SO HOPING to see them during the scroll down! But I got a sad with the little black booties. Missed opportunity!

    • demidaemon

You nailed it! This is totally a “My Boots Were Made for Walking” dress.

    • veracity

Just before I saw your comment, I posted the exact same thing. Doh! But, yes. White gogo boots.

  • andi56

It’s too tight and those shoes are tragic with that dress, but I’m a real sucker for dupioni.

  • az67

Love the contrast of the yellow with the nail color.

  • israel8491

Enh. Color is fantastic but the dress is kind of blah. It needs to be a few inches longer. The zipper is the most interesting design element and I don’t like it (but I don’t like exposed zippers period).

  • http://logical-insnaity.com/ elizonthelam

    Awkward fit sadly.

    • nowlo

Yeah, it looks a skosh too small. Her odd stance is not helping matters.

      • Jacob Bowen

        EXACTLY! POSING, POSING, POSING!

  • Pennymac

    Star Fleets new summer uniform?

  • VicD

Ah crap, super cute until I got to the shoes, or “shooties.” Scroll down fug

  • marlie

I like this a lot! I usually am not impressed by her clothing choices, but I like everything about this outfit.

  • Tracy_Flick

I don’t really know if I love this, but I just came from the Paula Patton post, so I feel incredibly refreshed and grateful just looking at it.

  • livesarah

I usually like booties, but these are pretty terrible. Otherwise I think this is a step up from her usual outfits, and it really suits her.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

Absolutely perfect look for that venue. That’s a ‘Beatles Gal’ look for sure!

  • Pterodactyl111

Cute shoes. I want those earrings.

  • Cheryl

Love the colour, and the style. How perfect for a Beatles event. Pretty makeup.

  • Jacob Bowen

    Don’t stick your leg out!!!!

  • ‘Becca’lise Deveaux

Looked dead, didn’t I? But I wasn’t. But it wasn’t from lack of trying, I can tell you that. Actually, Bill’s last bullet put me in a coma. A coma I was to lie in for four years. When I woke up, I went on what the movie advertisements refer to as a ‘roaring rampage of revenge.’ I roared. And I rampaged. And I got bloody satisfaction. I’ve killed a hell of a lot of people to get to this point, but I have only one more. The last one. The one I’m driving to right now. The only one left. And when I arrive at my destination, I am gonna kill Bill.

    • MilaXX

HA! This comment just made my day!

  • KT

Cute ’60s throwback dress that would look so much cooler on someone else. Sorry, but she has the uncanny ability to make everything she wears look too princess-y, or trying-too-hard (case in point). It’s the Taylor Swift effect.

GTNYD — send this off to Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart, Rashida Jones, or better yet, Miss Lupita.

    • ShaoLinKitten

The world would implode if Rashida Jones ever wore anything this cute.

      • Lilak

Whole galaxies would be created on the spot! And wouldn’t it be FUN?! Oh, Rashida, do it-do it-do it!

    • amaranth16

Oooh, this has Emma written all over it.

  • Hayley

    I’d wear that.

  • KinoEye

This is what one wears to a Beatles tribute, not floral monstrosities. Attagirl.

  • amaranth16

    Saucy! Love it.

  • TheOtherChristina

Yes, yes, you’re a yellow submarine, we get it.

  • MilaXX

LOVE IT! I would have never thought this was a look that was in her wheelhouse, but this works.

  • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

Chic. Too bad she looks so uncomfortable. Looks like it’s at least a half-size too small. Don’t think the shoes work, though.

  • http://ediblecville.blogspot.com Libby

Hot as shit. Two thumbs WAY up!

  • demidaemon

Hate the shoes with this dress. Record scratch in the styling there. Like everything else.

  • veracity

The outfit needs white gogo boots. That is all.

    • Gatto Nero

She was clearly going for a Sixties look. (Maybe that’s the stiletto version of those black Beatles boots?)

  • Susan Velazquez

Booties were the wrong choice but she was headed in the right direction with black shoes.

  • Michelle Wilson

    Adorable.

  • Qitkat

Love it, and the earrings too.

  • carnush

PERFECT, head to toe. Fantastic way to channel the 60s and still look modern.

  • Diego!

Since it’s a Grammy event, and there are musicians floathing all over the place, this fits in the category of best dressed of the evening. I LOVE those short boots. Love love love. I hate her hair and make up. Dress is nice.

  • KayEmWhy

Best she’s ever looked. Lovin’ it.

  • crash1212

    Love. Shoulda been a WERQ.

  • Tracey Magyar

    Love everything about this look!

  • quiltrx

LOVE the earrings. I like the dress, but it needs to be longer. I bet she had a hard time sitting down.

  • judybrowni

    Cute!

  • onefifteen

Cute 60s vibe with a modern shoe. I hate the hair with a capital H. She looks like a flight attendant. I’d rather she wore in down with sideswept bangs like the model.

  • Lilyana_F

I don’t know, I love it on the model, on Anna the proportions go off a bit.
