Something about this isn’t working. Looks too big on her. Proportions that look like they’re working on the model don’t work on Kristen. The result looks a bit too casual, though for a game launch maybe okay.

I thought this was a “3 Wolf Moon” dress. You can’t imagine my disappointment.

    • MilaXX

It’s fine. Not special, but okay.

SHe’s not in the movie, she looks comfy and I love the shoes, PLUS since the baby sloth meltdown I love her more than words can say, so I give her a pass.

      • Erica_Vuitton

Did you see the follow up Ellen when she actually did bring out a sloth and gave her a sloth outfit for the baby!?!?! Adorable!!

        • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

          NO! Must hit youtube!

    • Chickadeep

Needs to have a more nipped-in waist on a person her size/stature. The shoes, surprisingly (since they are not my usual cup of tea) don’t bother me; they actually look kind of cute. The thing that really doesn’t work for me is the clutch. I want it to be less matchy, maybe metallic.

    • filmcricket

Blerg. Bad on the model, wretched on her. Her face and hair are great, though.

      • kimmeister

The dark background isn’t helping either.

    • annabelle archer

Girl loves that iPad case, brings it everywhere she goes.

    • In_Stitches

Maybe it’s just because she’s a new mom and when I see her, I have babies on the mind, but that embroidery looks like the top of a baby bottle with the nipple hitting, well…right about the nipple.

    • marlie

It’s a cute outfit. I’d fight her for the shoes and the clutch.

    • crash1212

This is not a bad outfit. It’s just not right for Ms. Bell. I love the shoes and I love the bag. Actually I covet the shoes.

    • Erica_Vuitton

Wish she had worn a black pencil skirt instead. The full shirt and the full skirt aren’t working on her tiny 5’2″ frame.

    • Imasewsure

Hate the shoes (with this) and hate the clutch (hate all clutches on the RC for the most part). The outfit is cute on her and venue appropriate.

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

If this were her size it would be darling. The shoes/clutch make me twitchy with the overly matching, but her makeup is perfection. Mixed bag!

    • Lori

This is cute, but it’s swallowing her whole. She’s tiny and this is just too much volume. I like both the clutch and the shoes, but not together. Too matchy. IOW, close but no cigar, which is too bad because I sort of love her.

    • Tatiana Luján

I would have chosen ither the top or the skirt to fit the body. Her hair and makeup look very good.
Doesn’t she look a lot like Alison Pill?

    • SugarSnap108

It’s OK. But there’s too much width going on, top and bottom. You have to be 7 feet tall to pull this off.

    • Nancer

I love Kristen Bell. That is all.

    • MarieLD

Wait? A game launch gets a red (fake grass) carpet? Why? (rhetorical question really)

    • Anna_Cecilia

The dress looks like it’s eating her. Love the shoes and clutch, but not together in the same outfit.

    • Nan

I think she forgot all your lessons about the importance of proper proportions on a teeny tiny frame. Is she carrying a clutch or an iPad case?

    • formerlyAnon

Cute. The top looks a bit big on her frame, but she’s standing on fake grass at a video game launch, I’m gonna give it to her.

    • tereliz

Too much volume on top and focus-pulling shoes on the bottom. Nothing seems to be sitting where it should and YEEZUS TRIPES I hate that clutch/iPad case/whatever square of leather she’s dragging around. Black skinny pants or a pencil skirt would go better on her with this top, but if she wanted to keep the skirt, I would have gone with a tight black cropped cardi. This probably looked better in person, but these pics do not flatter her. Her head looks great, though.

    • decormaven

Like her hair and makeup, but the boxy cut of the top is doing no favors.

    • Slanted & Enchanted

I love the dress? Shirt and skirt combo? Whatever, I dig it. But – at the risk of sounding deluded – this would look way better on me than it does on her. She’s too short! Her eyes aren’t blue enough! IT BELONGS ON ME!!!

    • fashion4ever

      girl, NO

    • nannypoo

While I agree that she’s too short and it’s too wide, I love it on her.

    • sunflower

I like the look on the model but not Kristen. I think she could wear the top with a pair of skinny pants or the skirt with a more fitted top but together they stumpfiy her

    • Jacob Bowen

Hair & Makeup is SO CUTE but…WOW, putting a tent outfit on a SUPER tiny girl is STUPID.

    • quiltrx

A sack top AND a sack bottom….honey, no. It’s a shame, because I really like that electric blue with black and white.

    • Aurumgirl

That looks like bedazzled summer camp wear. But I love the shoes.

    • sagecreek

Cute, but us short gals cannot wear ankle straps effectively, even short gals as cute and lissome as KB.

    • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

Bad photos but cute dress. And best her hair has ever looked.
