I don’t know who she is, but I applaud her for wearing seasonally-appropriate shoes, and cute ones at that.

      • demidaemon

Agreed on all points, including the “who the hell is she?” one.

    • annabelle archer

      Holiday pretty perfect.

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

I’m losing respect for all the little girl stars who went to this thing. But this one looks terribly pretty, I love her dress, shoes and lipstick and it seems appropriate that her jewellery is low-key.

    • Vizion

This is gorgeous. Nice to see that some of the Disney spawn aren’t growing up too crazy.

      • Lanus

Too bad her show is the most hideous racist piece of dreck to appear on TV since 1950-something. I will only grudgingly admit she looks good, otherwise she ruins my life. (/has daughters in her target audience)

    • MilaXX

Pretty dress and I like the red shoe. I just wish her bra strap wasn’t peeking out.

      • CakesOnAPlane

and I just wish she wasn’t wasting a nice outfit on this venue. She gets low marks just for the headline.

      • ballerinawithagun

I know, it was so perfect until that bra strap. Black or even holiday red or a crazy purple, since everyone has a bra wardrobe now, would have been so much better than white.
        I want those shoes!

        • marlie

I suppose that would be ok if the bra was supposed to be showing, but here it seems like nude was the way to go, otherwise it *might* show through the dress.

        • MilaXX

I don’t mind the bra color, just tuck the strap in.

    • Jen

She looks very pretty, and like so many have mentioned, seasonally appropriate. I can’t help but imagine this same outfit on someone 2-3x her age though… I feel like at her age (and at a Justin Bieber movie premier…) she may as well have a little more fun with it.

      • barbarienne

She’s 20 years old, so the dress isn’t inappropriate as such…but yeah, I keep thinking it should be on someone a bit older. The mental boomerang isn’t helped by her having a very young face.

It’s a good look, certainly, but I always feel a little sad when the young ‘uns don’t take advantage of being able to wear stuff that will be inappropriate when they get older.

    • NYCGlamourpuss

      She looks stunning!

    • filmcricket

Feels just the tiniest bit too tight, I think she might be afraid to breathe. But the dress is pretty and the shoes are cute, and as others have said: this is how you do seasonally-appropriate party-wear.

    • Glam Dixie

She has a very literal doll face. Her hair and makeup look pretty, the dress is cute and fits well and I’m loving the red shoe with this. It’s a win for me.

      • AwwwTrouble

It’s finally just hit me (after too many episodes of Jessie) – she has a Geena Davis face. totally Geena Davis.. She needs to be cast as Geena Davis’ daughter in a movie, stat.

        • Glam Dixie

Oh, you’re right, it IS totally Geena Davis.

        • siriuslover

I’ve been watching Debbie Ryan for years on Disney with my kids and never once did I make that connection. Now I can’t unsee it. Because you’re totally right.

    • Nariya

Dress too old for her, hair needs smoothing, shoes don’t go. Something’s off about the makeup too. Face looks plasticky. Foundation? Lipstick? Expression?

Oh well; she’s young and pretty, and that goes a long way.

    • beckytee

      baby Geena Davis?

      • shirab

Was about to type the same thing! Definitely an early Geena vibe.

      • conniemd

Nope, don’t see it. Geena looked smart and sexy, this woman has more of the sexy without the smart. (I’m a huge Geena fan)

    • mjude

cute & love the shoes. but can you imagine having to attend that “premiere”?

      • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

But the hilarity of it being sponsored by Clearasil!

        • decormaven

It’s so blatantly spot-on for marketing to the young set. I know that’s the whole point of marketing, but I tire of the demographic assault.

          • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

I went to a 4pm screening of The Hobbit yesterday, and APPARENTLY, based on the advertising, the only people who see films at that time are children and youngish families.

        • mjude

          did not notice that! LOL

    • llism

THE SHOES. Let me nestle them in my bosom and coo to them softly.

    • quiltrx

This is a terrific dress, but it’s a bit too tight on her. Those shoes are really cute (I don’t get to say that very often on RC posts, I usually hate them…she and Kiernan did me right today!).
And am I the only one who thought this movie (or SOME awful Biebs movie) came out a LONG time ago?

      • Glam Dixie

Believe it or not, this is actually a second movie. I know, right? That’s two too many.

        • Erica_Vuitton

He put out TWO movies both called Believe??? Not much creativity in that camp eh?

    • Imasewsure

The shoes could have worked with a much funner dress… this is not her dress and seems strange for the event as well

    • Diego!

It’s a pitty her bra strap is showing because she looks stunning! And it’s a pitty she is attending a Justin Bieber event too. LOL xD

    • kimmeister

The dress is pretty, but does not photograph well. I think it’s mostly the fault of the shiny lining, although I’m thankful that at least it’s lined.

    • marlie

It’s a pretty dress. I like that she went with a red shoe, and I like the shoes, but I’m not sure if I like them with this dress. Overall, she looks good!

    • Lori

Another potentially good look ruined by being too tight. Say it with me Rachel: It’s OK to go up a size. Also, I love the shoes but I’m not convinced they go with this dress.

    • PastryGoddess

Every time I see her name I think she’s washed up 80’s pop star.

This is a pretty great look. There are no fireworks or anything, but she looks really good here

    • Mary Elizabeth Poytinger Baume

My kids love her on disney channel. those shoes are giving me LIFE.

    • Jacqueline Wessel

She looks cute. I wish she had fancier hair. Love the shoes.

    • http://thishotoldbroad.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

I love those shoes! That is all.

    • Joanie

Dress is too tight, but otherwise the whole thing is kind of great

    • sunflower

It’s a pretty dress, but it should be on someone twice her age

    • LeelaST

Very cute if too tight. Love the shoes. The VBS (visible bra strap) is very Jr. High; her minions need to get on that.

    • somebody blonde

The dress and the shoes are both great, but I kind of think they don’t go together. Maybe it’s just me who thinks that red shoes and a blackish dress looks a little weird.

    • lifeisastory

Very pretty. I love that dress.

    • MsOlympia

She needs a slightly better foundation match.

    • St. Ace

      Alternate Universe Stripper Amy Pond

    • anotherkate

I legit didn’t know we’re still naming people Debby. Love the shoes, Deb.

    • Lanze777

I think she looks very beautiful and those red shoes compliment her red hair beautifully! Altogether I think she looks wonderful! It is a shame she’s at a Justin Beiber premier! He’s a joke!!
