Adam Lambert at the 2013 Trevor Project Benefit

Posted on December 09, 2013

Attaboy:

Adam Lambert attends the 2013 Trevor Project Benefit at the Hollywood Paladium in Hollywood, California.

This may be our favorite Adam look of all time. Personally, we would have recommended a tie and less Frankensteiny shoes, but we can’t fault him for his choice of suit. Festive, fun and stylish.

But smooth your shirt out before pictures, mkay? And fluff those pants a little so they’re not caught in your shoes. Honestly, this is basic stuff. Don’t you have an entourage, dear?

Part of his charm–no entourage. Thanks for the glorious photos of our Glorious One.

I like this on him. Strongly prefer different shoes, but that’s his look.

    • demidaemon

So nice to see you here Anon. I was afraid everyone had disappeared!

      • formerlyAnon

Ha! Disqus appears to have disappeared many of today’s comments. Temporarily? Who knows.

Until you commented (yesterday?) that you’d had computer issues I thought you’d either had an extended Thanksgiving break with no-Internet relatives or were buried in end-of-semester work (I have that right, you do teach/tutor/toil somewhere in the groves of Academe?)
[Oh, and yay for you that there's a new bf worth investing a weekend in! May the limits of compatibility not be reached.]

        • demidaemon

Yep! I have no idea WTF is up with Disqus. I’m so glad to see you remembered so much about me! But, yeah, Disqus needs to figure its shit out pronto.

        • manina

A lot of comments disappeared from today’s posts. Maybe they’ll be back?

          • Kent Roby

Looks like all of my recent comments have disappeared as well. Bah humbug.

      • decormaven

Not meaning to interrupt, but I thought I was the only one having problems. All my Monday posts have disappeared. Are the Disqus gods angry?

      • NYCGlamourpuss

I’ve only disappeared for work reasons! Disqus has been behaving for me so far.

    • NYCGlamourpuss

I like the Frankensteins – he *could* switch it up a bit, but they generally go with whatever he wears, so he’s got that goin’ for him, which is nice…

So rococo, j’adore. I only clicked on this to see what you’d say, because he has a lot of style that you fellas aren’t always into…but I know you dig a printed suit! It does wondrous things for his eyes.

  • BookishBren

Love this too. A tie really would have completed the look, but the suit is pretty fabulous and fun. .

    • NYCGlamourpuss

I think a tie would have worked well with this, too. But he looks really good.

  • Jacqueline Wessel

His face looks so good here without all the eyeliner he usually sports. Love the suit.

  • Constant Reader

I like the facial hair. It adds to the edgy vibe he’s going for. LOVING the suit.

  • Allysa Mentor

I more I see it, the more I like it. Wondering if Joan Rivers will have anything to say about it. Adam doesn’t need a stylist IMO.

  • demidaemon

I’m not feeling this one, but mostly just because I have an irrational dislike of the pattern. It’s too–IDK–depressing to me. Not a big fan of mauve as a color, either. Fit is superb, though, which with boystars is always hit or miss, unfortunately.

  • manina

I love Adam. He can wear anything and he always looks like a star; he makes this print suit look very elegant, and edgy at the same time. love it.

  • quiltrx

Now THIS is the Adam I like! That’s a killer suit. The cleanly groomed (as opposed to that mess he was sporting a while back) facial hair really suits him, and I will never not love his giant hair.

  • milkywayfairy

Wow!! Adam Lambert looking fabulous, so very handsome! Love the suit. Gorgeous pics!!

  • Jacob Bowen

See, I think that with a tie it would have been too busy. That shirt DEFINITELY needs to be straightened though.

  • fursa_saida

I love this. Like a vampire who’s into nature. Anytime Adam Lambert’s outfit feels vampire-adjacent I am basically on board.

  • Tippi123

Love the colours and I would also like to see a tie. Nice head of hair, too.

  • TTkp

I can’t fault the shoes, some gentlemen need heavy boots to prevent their legs from flying up into the air

  • NYCGlamourpuss

LOVE it! Very fun, very colorful, and I still just love me some Glambert.

  • Patrick Cleary

Bravo! Keep in this style, you lovely fashionisto boy!

  • marlie

I like the suit. He’s probably the only guystar who could pull it off. And I think he looks SO much better without the heavy makeup that he used to wear.

  • AnnaW

Gorgeous. The color really makes his eyes pop.

  • LeelaST

Gorgeous! Would also love to see a tie. I always get “Boo Radley” with this buttoned-up shirt look.

  • Lilyana_F

    Yep, that’s pretty much perfect.
