    • Glam Dixie

      Day-um!

    • ChaCha_70

      That smile!

    • Jessica Freeman

Probably the best looking of the bunch today.

    • WendyD

      Yes, please, have some.

    • Kerri

      Perfect.

    • marlie

      *SWOON*

The windowpane print on that suit is lovely. His pants need to be hemmed a LOT (and so do the sleeves), but really, who’s looking at the hem of his pants at this point?

      • Glam Dixie

        sigh, not me

      • Mary Lauer

Oooh, I missed the windowpane. Thanks for pointing it out! 8-)

      • alyce1213

It’s so subtle, I love that. I missed it first scroll-through. Maybe a sexier tie?

      • Maggie Smith

Read your comment and went, “wait, What windowpane???”. Scrolled back up to see it and realized I had been blinded by that precious smile.

        • marlie

With repeated viewings (seriously, such a chore), you can tell that the suit, the shirt, and the tie all have subtle prints/textures. Nicely done.

        • bitchybitchybitchy

The smile and the cheekbones do tend to divert one’s eyes from other aspects of the photos, don’t they?

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

Great suit. Too bad his skin is not as smooth as Jaimie Alexander’s.

    • In_Stitches

A green tie as a nod to his character’s signature color would have been nice.

    • http://skreened.com/bkcentral Sarah

This is pretty hot. I still don’t get too excited about a dude in a suit, but Loki at least looks like he might invest in my start-up instead of turn down my loan.

    • decormaven

Non-fashion related question: what is the tie-in with Harley Davidson and Thor? My superhero knowledge may be a bit rusty, but is that Thor’s ride of choice? Also: Skype. Is that how Thor communicates with his family on Asgard? That detail never made it in to my childhood comic books, but Dick Tracy was still communicating with the 2-Way Wrist Radio then.

      • Candigirl1968

It’s an Avengers related partnership. Welcome to the wonderful world of corporate sponsored blockbusters.

On a fashion related note, the shirt looks beautiful. I want to reach out and touch that textured weave. What a nice way to amp up a basic outfit.

        • stu844

One corporate sponsored blockbuster I can get behind? Ron Burgundy and Dodge.

          • Candigirl1968

Looking forward to the red carpet outfits on that one.

        • marlie

Agree. The tie also seems to have a subtle texture to it. A nice way to add some interest to an otherwise plain look (the suit has a print/pattern, too).

        • decormaven

Ha ha! Thanks for the explanation. Doesn’t it seem rather odd that a blockbuster has to be corporate-sponsored? It’s a blockbuster, not an indie film. Oh well, I guess that’s just gilding the lily.

    • Laura Renee

      Three cheers for successful bronzing!

    • Danielle

      That’ll do.

    • Kathy

The twinkle in his eye is so distracting me from any wardrobe issues.

      • formerlyAnon

It’s the twinkle and the smile.

    • Emily Smith

Why is there a motorcycle? Is Thor sponsored by Harley Davidson?

      • Fyolette

literally the only thing I noticed on the photos

    • lunchcoma

Yummy. Not even going to pretend to care about the suit.

    • formerlyAnon

Thank-you, TLo, for my click-back-to “pause that refreshes” for the day.
Lord God this one has a smile for which to die.

    • Janet B

Sadly he’s more covered up than Jaimie Alexander

    • sagecreek

He is unfailingly adorable…that smile! He might be faking it, but damn, he fakes it GOOD.

    • Kimmu

I watched the whole premiere livestream last night. In still pics, this looks better put together than Chris’s suit, but actually watching the premiere, Chris looked way better.

    • Trickytrisha

Gorgeous suit and shirt, blah tie. I think we BKs might have to admit defeat when it comes to male celebs’ too long suit pants. They seem to be like Miley Cyrus – no matter how much you wish they would go away, they keep on getting in your face.

He’s growing on me. Cannot wait for Only Lovers Left Alive. Tom, Tilda, Mia W., Jim Jarmusch, and vampires. It’s bound to be weird.

      • Lady_Scaper

Saw OLLA, it’s worth the wait!!

        • lunchcoma

Glad to hear that. I’m fond of Tom and anything with SWINTON in it will have its pleasures, but it’s nice to hear that the movie itself is enjoyable.

    • Patricia Groves Dobrowski

If we sent him some ties in an actual color, would he use them – er, I mean, wear them?

      • lunchcoma

Maybe. But you’ve got to be careful with him and color. Left to his own devices, he sometimes reverts to wearing yellow pants and see through purple shirts.

        • Patricia Groves Dobrowski

True. I had forgotten about that little fact, since he’s done this look SO much lately.

          • lunchcoma

Perhaps we should send him some ties in lovely colors and patterns to show him that there is a third way beyond the Banker Suits and the Eurotrash.

And if he wants to use them for other purposes, I’d be fine with that too.

    • Imasewsure

It’s boring I guess but also a really beautiful cut on him too. The smile didn’t affect me this time either… must need more coffee….

    • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

      $5K smile! Suit, what suit?

    • crash1212

Love the texture of the tie with the texture of the shirt with the subtle plaid of the suit. Great color combo and it actually fits him properly! Although, I would suspect Uncles would think the hem is a bit long on the pants.

      • marlie

If one is going to wear all black and white, adding in the different textures and prints livens it up a little.

    • prettybigkitty

I love that he always seems to be having such a good time.

    • boweryboy

At least he’s not a shiny over bronzed mess like a few weeks ago.
I still think he’s hiddy. See what I did there?

    • MW

Boring clothes but he doesn’t need them to impress me. Or most people for that matter.

    • StephanieLovesTLo

I’d like to be burdened with his glorious purpose.

    • dashransome

Every time he’s featured he’s always striking the same pose on the red carpet. I wonder if it is an affectation or whether it’s what his body naturally does. …kind of like a stance that a person bending a plastic doll (like GI Joe) would come up with.

      • not_Bridget

Somewhere on Tumblr is a shot of the Thor & Loki costumes, displayed on headless dummies. “Thor” is standing straight & square. “Loki” is slouching, with his hips tilted…

    • conniemd

Black, black and more black. Great suit, would have loved something other than a plain black tie. BTW, every picture of in the “You might also like” has him in a black suit with a black tie

      • MilaXX

I realize it’s still a neutral, but this suit is a very dark navy plaid.

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

Love the pattern on the jacket and the texture on the shirt, but I’d love to see him wear something a bit more daring.

    • Alexis Boucher

Only way this could have been better is if he and Chris rode down the red carpet on the Harley together.

      • MilaXX

Have you seen the clips of them arm wrestling? So much cute!

        • Alexis Boucher

I haven’t! I have seen interviews and gifs a plenty, so I know the bromance is strong with them. Will have to take a look.

    • clevRcat

      Works for me!

    • MilaXX

He’s just so charming. I love his playfulness with reporters & stops on the poledance. LOVE his Loki meets the kids spots.

      • marlie

All of that is WHY I find him so attractive. He’s just so charming, and is having so much fun with his stardom that it’s incredibly endearing.

    • bizarro

He looks great but always seems to have crotchal issues. Why does he hoik his pants up so high?

    • boredbyopen

      Attaboy, you’re not orange anymore!

    • Synnamin

True story: a friend of mine recently got the opportunity to sit down with him for half an hour, chat, and show him the incredibly detailed cross-stitch she made from a photo of him. He was very amused, she said, and was one of the kindest and gracious people she’s ever met. and he signed her cross-stitch.

We’re all very jealous of her now and anticipate a run at the local embroidery stores.

      • formerlyAnon

        Aaaaawwww.

    • titaness25

It is good, my favourite internet uncles, that you just gave me pictures. No words are needed.

    • demidaemon

This is a suit you really need to get up close to examine, for multiple reasons.

    • http://www.dogsdotcom.blogspot.com/ Plink

      Love!

    • Renaissance_Man_ATL

Me thinks he’s pulling a Hamm, if you know what I mean. ;)

      • not_Bridget

        He’s notorious for being a bit of a showoff…

    • MissAmynae

      le sigh

    • quiltrx

Interesting up close, but rather Reservoir Dogs from a distance.
But he’s adorable and has magical hair, so he passes. :)

    • jabes

I think he approaches Astaire-levels of suavity (suaveness??). And he always wears such perfect shoes.

      • lobsterlen

Except Fred would have been perfectly shaven. Scruffy face sometimes works but not here.

    • kim bunchalastnames

      oh, my.

    • Jennifer C.

I’ll take one of these to go, please.

    • St. Ace

I have an objection about his clothes! Namely, the fact that he’s wearing them. I find his clothes objectionable. Please take them off, Tom.
