Awful dress, it makes her look short and wide.

      • BayTampaBay

The dress doesn’t even look good on the model.

    • RussellH88

This is pretty bad. Her torso looks so short in it.

The hair and handband offends my senses.

    • lobsterlen

      The horror of those SHOES!

      • Diego!

        The Horror indeed. #Scary

      • decormaven

Took the words right out of my mouth. Speechless…

    • Karen Belgrad

“Mother always said I’d be very attractive, when I grew up, when I grew up…”
“But everyone is beautiful at the ballet…”

    • KinoEye

Big ol’ NO from head to toe.

      • Clueless_Jock

It’s not a sophisticated look at all.

    • MilaXX

GTNYD and those shoes are fugly.

    • Lily

The proportions on this are SO WRONG. I like that hair and makeup on her, but ugh those shoes.

    • Jessica Freeman

The shoes are not only their own brand of ugly, but they don’t even go with the dress. If the dress were floor or knee length it could have worked…this ‘almost ankle’ length works on no one.

    • Glam Dixie

I have to confess I always do a little internal squeal and clap when PPS has an actress on the red carpet but that dress is perhaps FMO. The proportions are just so wrong on her. Also I hate the shoes.

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

So, she’s wearing a dress that Kiernan Schipka rejected because it was too juvenile, and shoes from the charity shop. Poor thing.

      • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

Shipka. Dammit – can’t spell it without checking first.

      • lunchcoma

I don’t think those shoes are from the charity shop. I suspect she borrowed them from an exotic dancer.

    • Cameron Turner

      Burn the shoes dear….

    • Mary Lauer

Can she not stand without crossing her ankles? 8-(

    • xmixiex

      I actually like it *shrug*
Not sure how old she is, but she seems young and it seems appropriate for her age. Shoes are awful though.

      • Telperion

She’s 16. Just a kid. Which is why I can’t be too harsh on her. On her stylist on the other hand…

      • Jennifer Schiller

I agree. Hate the shoes too. Otherwise everyone else on this red carpet seems to be in costume, at least this is cute for a teenager.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

It’s a sweet little party dress, though it may be a GTNYD kind of moment. Hard to say because I am so horrified at the shoes, I ran screaming from the room and away from my screen.

    • Diego!

Honey, it’s a red carpet, not a Halloween party. Besides, Princess Aurora role in Maleficient, had already been taken. Now get out of that costume!

    • Victoria Anzalone

I like this in theory, but it’s not working in reality. And the shoes are an abomination.

    • Sarah

She is serving me a dark version of that pop-up ballerina from my childhood jewelry box. Which is not a good thing. Also, those shoes…they should burn.

    • GillianHolroyd

Is that a gap in the beading at the side seam of the bodice?

      • alyce1213

It’s either a gap or a badly sewn zipper, which should be invisible.

    • boweryboy

I find the shoes the most offensive thing here, and that dress is pretty offensive. She should take that dress off and give it some one who can make it sing, like her 5 year old sister.

    • SewingSiren

Very pretty, sparkly , and young. The shoes however, are proportionately incorrect.

    • ashtangajunkie

Oh, the SHOES. Good god, Fuhrman.

    • Crystal

I think the dress is fun, but those damn shoes are an abomination. What the fuck.

    • imspinningaround

I can’t blame this girl (whoever she is) for this look. A stylist pulled this dress, but didn’t clear it with the publicist, so the publicist instructed her to pose with her hands at her waist at all times to camouflage the fact that the dress makes her look wide.

    • jilly_d

SWEET JESUS. DIY makeup, Pinterest hair, and those SHOES. Go home, girl. You look beat.

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

The headband makes it awfully twee.

    • Blair Sylvester

those shoes are horrible!! Also the bodice is a little unconventional materials challenge

    • alyce1213

The dress is just meh, even on the model. Illusion, sequins, tulle – what else is new.
      The shoes are hysterical.

    • AvaLehra

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought she was wearing a turban.
      Now I am disappointed…

    • Kelly

If it weren’t for the unwalk-able shoes, I’d think she was a member of some “Nutcracker” corps de ballet who had accidentally wandered out from backstage.

    • NYCGlamourpuss

      Nightmare.

    • Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

Oh dear. You’re too pretty for this dress, honey. And not those shoes. Ever.

    • sagecreek

Not a dress for the short-waisted.

    • frannyprof

      canNOT with those shoes.

    • knockknockknockpenny

She needs to go home and try again. Hair and makeup are bleh. It is a cute dress but it’s too long, and those shoes need to be burnt.

      • Imasewsure

It takes too long to burn shoes… let’s just throw them over a cliff and hope they are never found. FUGLY!!

    • algaechick

I realize she doesn’t have the same financial resources as Katniss or Peeta, but…
      1. Hair and makeup are just *ok* (headband bordering on twee). If she paid for those, however, someone should be flogged.
      2. The dress looked better with the tapered hem on the model-the straight hem makes it look too wide.
      3. The shoes make me dislike her irrationally.

      • marlie

My guess is that for the poledance for this movie, the producers have their own army of stylists and hairdressers, if the star doesn’t have their own in tow. And she might not be as big of a name as JLaw, JHutch, or Liam, but she’s still borrowing a dress and shoes from big name designers.

So yeah; whoever dressed her is to blame for this look.

    • Shannon Campe

She needs posing lessons, big time. Poor thing…I wouldn’t go back to being that age for anything.

    • Imasewsure

Head to toe wrong and sorry but that is one ugly dress

    • TLJezebel

      Head to toe wrong.

    • marlie

Those shoes are TRAGIC. Plus, the dress makes her look a little stumpy.

    • wrdexp

The awkward moment when you realize if had given an average 17 year-old a hundred quid she could have made you look 1000 times better!

    • Kimberly Wilcox

The Shoes are tragic and awful; the dress doesn’t really suit her body properly, and the sheer bit on the top of the dress makes the dress look cheap(er). The color scheme seems the only thing fitting here, and only because of the event she’s at. Poor dear.

    • Tracey Magyar

Sweet Jesus on a breadstick…that is bad.

    • msdamselfly

I totally adore this look. She’s playing ballet princess and not taking it too seriously

    • TerryMarie

Whoever put her in those shoes should be fired immediately.

    • MoHub

Are those Brian Atwood shoes for the Payless collection?

    • CMCH

      Prom gone wrong. Way wrong.

    • River

I could potentially give the dress a pass, but the shoes are a horror and wth were her makeup/hair people thinking??

    • mmebam

It looks like a ballerina went diving in a bunch of Ferrero Rochet wrappers…

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

      NOT
      YOUR

      DRESS

    • bertkeeter

      OUT!

    • Dagney

Oh sweetie, you are a gorgeous girl and you are in a big movie. Use some of that movie money to hire a non-evil stylist.

    • conniemd

Is she posing with her hands on the waist to hide the dreadful side pouches on the model’s dress or was it changed for her. Inquiring minds want to know.

    • Dagney

      But, this could have worked.
#1 Shoes. Dear god, give her more delicate shoes.
#2 Hair. COMB the hair into a neater, sleeker look. Forget the tiara or whatever that is on her head.
#3 Makeup. a tad more lip color, and more aggressive, dramatic eyes.
      #4 Earrings, ?????

I see stuff like this and just wonder, who is doing this? I mean did she PAY for this? Any good old fashioned hairdresser from the 50′s armed with a can spray and lipstick could have prevented this atrocity.

    • formerlyAnon

I think someone tried to fix the proportions of that skirt by finding the highest shoes she could walk in. (Hence the platform.)

    • teensmom99

True confession: I kinda like the idea of these shoes with a dress of that type. But not the dress of that type.

    • MissFern

So if you die in the first one, you’re still invited to the premiere of the second one? I then ask, WHERE IS RUE???

    • Stacy C

I feel like the shoes were partially picked out because the dress is too long for her. I like the dress, just not for her.

    • Joanne Abrams

ugh, and those shoes are just plain wrong

    • mdcoon127

Not her dress and nobody’s shoes except Carmen Miranda…

    • Levedi

I had that exact tutu in my dress up box as a child in the 80s. I’m not kidding – it’s making me nostalgic. However, I’m pretty dang sure that 8 year old in her cousin’s old recital costume is not the look she was going for.

    • ThaliaMenninger

Lumpy dumpy figure skater of yore. But she and Angelina Jolie could act out the plot of Black Swan together with their respective outfits.

    • rbk

If the dress wasn’t ill-fitted it’d be alright. Shoes are godawful. CSiriano never seems to get his red carpet looks right.

    • crash1212

She has some seriously beautiful eyes! I don’t hate the dress, but wish it fit a bit better. I truly hate with the white hot heat of a thousand suns those shoes…both with this dress and just in general. A blind person could’ve picked a better pair – just feeling these clunky horrors would’ve been enough to nix them.

    • LaSylphide

Oh dear heavens above, those shoes are making my brain hurt. The dress is pretty in a glitzy kind of way, but i don’t think it’s right for her: she just looks too wholesome for it.

    • Pterodactyl111

      I love this dress.

    • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

those are some of the worst shoes i have ever seen

    • KT

      HAHA!

    • SportifLateBoomer

I actually like each of the components, it’s just that when they’re together, and on her, they look awful. Don’t know how tall she is, but the shoes are disproportionately high, so it looks weird. She needs longer legs. Actually she needs longer legs/torso for the whole thing. It’s too stumpifying.

I admit I’m a sucker for princess hair like this.

    • ItsDicey

      Lawdy! Hellll NO.

    • sisterb67

This is a fairly tragic look, made more tragic by those shoes. Of course, I can’t even look at her without busting into a fit of giggles, thanks to the night I saw Hunger Games and someone in the theater announced “It’s Esther! That bitch is crazy!” when Clove first appeared on screen :)

    • quiltrx

THIS is Siriano? He would crush this if he were a PR guest judge. It looks like she made her own prom dress with stuff from the discount aisle at Michael’s.

    • Ummy

It’s a Christmas ballerina! In whatever those shoes are.

    • Carolyne

First, we must chastise Christian for designing this mess. Second, poor darling Isabelle looks like a cross between the Wicked Witch of the West and a Munchkin. However, I forgive her because she’s 16, but somebody’s not doing their job!!!

    • http://missbethg.wordpress.com Beth Ann

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought she was Lena Dunham at first.

    • Gatto Nero

The dress chops her in half in a most unflattering way. It would work only on a tall, reed-thin model with a long torso. She’s wearing the skyscraper heels to try to compensate for the lack of height, but it doesn’t work.
