    If you squint it’s fantastic…

    • demidaemon

      That’s a lot of squinting.

  • RussellH88

    Do not like.

The hair is too severe, the top is too plastic-looking, and that seam in the front just looks ugly.

    1 Mellie out of 5.

    • Random Compliments

I also think it’s a bit big on her, no?

  • Danielle

I can’t get on board with the pleather top.

    • Lesley

pleather or plastic? i completely agree.

      • Rhonda Shore

        neoprene or something. meh.

      • kimmeister

I’m going with old nail polish.

  • hughman

Ironwoman would scoff at this dress.

    • Ginny Ellsworth

But Iron Man might wear it!

  • Nan

The color is great. And… that’s all I’ve got.

  • tereliz

Great color, but this dress is FMO. Pack this up and send it to Grace Jones.

  • HomeOfficeGirl

    Ewwww…. that dress is ugly.

    • BayTampaBay

      Fugly! Just plain Fugly!

  • nannypoo

If she spills it will mop right up, so that’s a good thing. She is wearing the most insignificant jewelry possible.I wonder why she bothered.

Can’t say I love this look, but I think she looks better in it than the model. I think I could be talked into liking it if her hair was different. I think the severe hair was a misstep.

    • Sobaika

I really like her but she needs to be careful about her hair/makeup choices. Keep it soft, girl.

    • kirkyo

I’m liking this more than I probably should, but yes, having the model pic as a point of comparison helps…a lot.

  • SR93

She looks like a fruit rollup

    • bravobravp

Comments like this remind me why I love this site so much.

  • suzq

It looks HORRIBLE on the runway. I can’t believe a designer would make such a mistake with the lighting. At the party, however, it almost looks luxe. The dimmer the lights, the better it looks. You want something fun and attention-getting for GQ, don’t you? Added plus: go ahead and spill a drink or two on the dress. It will either slide off or wash out.

  • mjude

I cant imagine how uncomfortable the top is. I would be sweating buckets

  • mayah1806

I actually kinda love this!! (on her especially). The colour contrast isnt as awkward as it is on the model, and she’s got the body to pull it off.

  • Mismarker

How many Fruit Roll Ups had to die to make this dress?

    • Imasewsure

Oh gurl you nailed that one…

  • Clueless_Jock

She looks so much better than the model.

  • marlie

That’s a pretty amazing dress. Kudos for going with the gold accessories (it’s ok that they match), and I like the sleek hair. Her makeup could have been a tiny bit more dramatic, and I sort of wish the fabric of the skirt didn’t come up so high, and the patent leather part extended further down to her waist. But still, a really dramatic look!

  • NOLA_gal

Does she have elf ears? Otherwise I’ve got nothing.

  • boweryboy

It’s weirdly werqing for me. Moreso than it does on the model.

    • Rand Ortega

Me, too. For me it’s more about the Darby than the ensemble. Serious Ginger Hotness.

  • Constant Reader

    I want that clutch.

  • Big Bear

    Scandalously good. Brava.

  • jtabz

I might be more offended by the weird seaming in the midsection than the pleather top.

    Really pretty color combination, though.

  • jspark

I like this dress. It’s been years since I’ve seen pvc in garments.

  • decormaven

That is a tough-looking sheen in the bodice. It needs someone with more moxie to really sell it. In this look, the column of color needed to be broken up with some gold earrings and a bracelet or cuff.

  • jspark

Why did they pick a pregnant model to wear it?

  • lunchcoma

What do you call it when you scroll down and like it more?

It looked creepy and fetishy with just the top, but once I saw the cloth section, I started to think it looked good.

  • MissFern

    HOT. i love it.

  • ‘Becca’lise Deveaux

Helen Bishop! That’s where I know her from. Thanks, Internet!

  • Noah

    I’d say GTNYD, but I don’t think that’s anybody’s dress.

  • The Counselor

If those two textiles are, in any way, compatible, this dress is not the one to convince me of it.

  • Mona_Visa

    Follow the white rabbit, Neo.

  • MK03

Is it seriously that hard for designers to send clients shoes in the right size?? Why are they always two sizes too big??

  • Blair Sylvester

that seaming on the skirt is unfortunate and the bodice looks cheap but it is a striking look and not as obviously sexy as what I am sure some of the other women wore

  • that top looks just like a candy apple! and it looks way better on her than it does on the model.

  • Watts

Classic case of the dress wearing the woman, rather than the right way around.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

I like it the more I look at it, but only because it’s that rare red a redhead can wear well, and because it’s unusual and pretty.

  • crash1212

I guess it would be an excellent dress for a dribbler. It’s kind of creeping me out. Love the color though.

  • JanieS

All I can think is: ‘boob sweat’.

  • That seaming in the front is unforgivable, and the top is giving me a robot vibe. No, thank you.

  • AC

She looks like the girlfriend of the latex man from AHS:S1

  • conniemd

I love that she has light arm hair showing.

  • Airkisses

This needs to be worn by someone to ComicCon

  • Miranda

I do love that gold metallic nail polish tho

  • quiltrx

No thank you…I have sweat under my boobs just looking at that thing.

  • MannahattaMamma

Seriously? I guess it would be good in case of spilled spaghetti or red wine: just mop & go! But is that really what we want in an evening gown, girls and boys?

  • Tatiana Luján

    Better than the model.
