  • iseeshesaid

    I rather like it actually.

    • Lucía Gavello

It’s all kinda scary in a good way.

  • marlie

I sort of like the horoscope necklaces.

    • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

And I will take the Capricorn Necklace! I don’t like the Cancer depiction…too creepy.

    • MoHub

I’m a textbook Scorpio—right in the middle of the sign—but I wouldn’t take that clunky necklace on a bet.

And the first scarab bracelet: It appears that the bugs have eight legs each, when they’re insects and should have six. For some reason, I’ve become obsessed about this.

  • <——– Clearly I am a sucker for zodiac themed items. I wish it weren't so Versace looking, but I still like it. Feel free to send me the Sagittarius bracelet come December.

    • alyce1213

      I, too, am a Sag — Dec 13.

ETA: I LOVE the bracelet, better than the necklace.

      • NYCGlamourpuss

Scorpio for me – Nov. 16th! And I love the necklace – not always the case with scorpio related stuff.

        • My youngest is a Scorpio. She’s a pistol!

          • NYCGlamourpuss

Yaay! Just warn her that our pickings are slim on zodiac related pretties. Whenever there is a zodiac collection of something or other, I always wish I was a Virgo – sometimes the Scorpio stuff is butt-ass ugly, but the Virgo stuff is always lovely.

          • LondonMarriott

I’ll see your Scorpio and raise you a Gemini. Our stuff is either a boring-ass II or two dudes hanging out, like the above. I love insect and animal jewelry but I don’t wanna wear people!

      • : D
        Dec 15

        • CPK1

          me too!

        • Sarah

19th. Which = one present for b-day and Xmas. Sad.

    • crash1212

My thoughts exactly. This is usually not my style, but I like it. We can be Sagittarius bracelet twins!

    • Deedles

Indeed! December 1st and one for my sister (December 3rd)!

  • mmebam

    Pandora Realness #Out

  • NYCGlamourpuss

    Horoscope jewelry! I love it!

  • jkatkins

Not only do I hate it, I’m afraid it will feature prominently in tonight’s nightmares. OUT!

  • claudemtl777

The zodiac ones would make for cool Bday presents

  • nowlo

Nay. Despite probably costing thousands of dollars, this jewelry looks like something you’d get out of a gumball machine.

    • E2_Remote

Great minds must think alike – was thinking the exact same thing!

    • Secret: That may be why I love it…>.>

    • kimmeister

      Tacky as all get out.

      • Eric Stott

I agree- some of the designs aren’t bad but it all looks like the kind of jewelry that will turn green and start peeling

    • EveEve

Straight from the gift shop at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

      • Nicole Little

        ha ha ha

      • EEKstl

      • Montavilla

Yes, but I still like that Cancer bracelet.

      • Levedi

The MMA generally has much more tastefully crafted stuff than this.

    • formerlyAnon

Precisely. I should have read before I commented.

    • Levedi

Yeah, reminded me pretty powerfully of the used jewelry found at yard sales and swap meets.

  • wisenhar

Yea bracelets, nay necklaces. Undecided about the rings

    • alyce1213

Some of the rings would make excellent weapons.

  • Winter_White

If the pendants are going to be so honking-big, I wish they were more elegant. The human (and human-ish) figures especially are awkward.

    • CT14

Yep. Out for me because I’m an Aquarius and that Water Bearer was hard to figure out at first glance. Can’t go for horoscope jewelry if my own sign is unwearable.

      • RoseJB

Agreed. That Water Bearer pendant is just not cute.

  • frannyprof

  • hughman

I loved it when Barry Kieselstein-Cord did it.

    • BrooklynBomber

      EXACTLY! BK-C fakeness?

      • hughman

Maybe he had a hand in this. But it’s so blatantly like his stuff it’s not even funny. (Also, I used to go into Bergdorf all the time because one of my BFFs was a stylist in the hair salon there and his (ex)wife CeCe would be working their counter on the first floor and she and I became friends. She was this big-haired Pat Buckley society type who was really loud and outrageous and I’d try on the bracelets and we’d talk about what I could or couldn’t pull off. She was fun.)

        • BrooklynBomber

Oh, funny. He could have had a hand in this, you’re right. You never really see his name around anymore, do you? In the ’80s I had a jewelry designer friend who worked for him and showed me drawings. And I remember picking up something (earrings, I think, kind of like the jewelry above) at a sample sale.

    • boweryboy

This is why I love coming here. I learn something new. Never heard of this Barry guy. Looked up his work and gosh darn are you right. These look like total copies.

      • hughman

Yay for learning! I think it’s important to recognize influence in fashion. Then again, I’m old as dirt so I would say that. 😉

        • decormaven

Not old as dirt, just aged to perfection.

    • Constant Reader

This collection was reminding me of something from the 80s, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. You nailed it.

  • Myra Amler

Not loving it, too big and clunky looking for my taste.

    • Big, gold and clunky is everywhere. I went to Santee Alley a few weeks ago and all the knock off jewelery was clearly inspired by door knockers.

  • alyce1213

    I can’t figure out what #11 is — help! (Am I dense?)

    • “In ancient Egypt, the fourth sign of the zodiac, Cancer was represented under the form of a beetle whom they had held sacred for it represented the Sun/Son…..”

    • hughman

I think it’s supposed to be a scarab. Because astrology/Egyptian/weird, etc, etc.

      • I like your answer better.

        • another_laura

Yeah, and they have the crab going on in this collection. *sigh* I wish sometimes they’d go with “moon child” for Cancer.

          • Constant Reader

            Me too. June 28. 🙂

      • alyce1213

Ohhh, yes. I was assuming everything was ‘regular’ zodiac. Definitely a scarab.

      • decormaven

It’s a scarab. And a really honkin’ big one, too.

  • Lori

Nay. The bracelets are OK, but I don’t like the rings or the necklaces. Giant, cheap-looking answers to the question, “Hey baby, what’s your sign?” are flashback fuel, not fashion.

  • Charlotte

And all for the low, low price of 1.99$! Buy 3, get 1 free.

    • calimon

      Collect them ALL!

    • MoHub

      Plus shipping and handling

  • I am a sucker for gold en-crustacean-ed jewelry. Me + Crab Bracelet = True Love.

  • DTLAFamilies

70s Flashback. The bad kind. NAY.

  • SICacovou

    some are far too phallic…!

  • Slanted & Enchanted

Yea for the leather bracelets, unreservedly. Not sold on the other ones. Tentative yea on the necklaces because I think with the right styling they’re strikingly gorgeous, plus I’m down for the trend to trickle down into something wearable. Because I totally want a 3D fox necklace, so here’s hoping that becomes a thing after seeing this collection.

  • BrooklynBomber

It’s okay, or almost okay, but the little pyramid thingies throw everything off.

  • E2_Remote

This collection left me expecting to see a mood ring at some point. SO disappointed.

  • appliquer

    No, just no.

  • another_laura

Nononononono. Looks like stuff I wore in 7th grade, when I was REALLY into astrology.

  • PastryGoddess

This Gemini says hell to the yes

  • Adrianna Grężak

I like the bracelets a lot. The necklaces look a little clunky

  • vitaminC

Just what I’ve always wanted: giant crab junk jewelry. Nay.

  • rebeemoon

Oh, no no no no NO. Way too heavy and gaudy. Good only for melting down into raw material for the creation of more tasteful pieces.

  • boweryboy

Nay. It’s a bit hokey, no?

  • Chase

If I was a 1970s mafia princess, yep. As it is, noooope.

  • somebody blonde

    Yea! It’s fun stuff.

  • anotherkate

Zodiac! I’m into it. I don’t totally love the non-animal signs, though (of which I am one–ugh, Aquarius sounds so melodious and yet its physical depiction is a boy with a jug? Lame!)

  • swanpride

Nay…those stuff looks incredible clunky and it is so literal. As much as I like zodiac, the design of the sign itself should be more creative.

  • Imasewsure

Not sure about the rings and bracelets… I love the necklaces if they can be worn unwrapped and long… Otherwise I think you have to be a Plantagenet or a perhaps a Capulet to make these work!

  • MilaXX

Bracelets – Yay. Rings & necklaces – Nay

  • Tigerfly

    Hell, NAY.

  • Aurumgirl

I do not see anything aquarius. Therefore, no.

  • save_the_hobbit

Well….it’ll be pretty damn easy to knock off, that’s for sure. Just get some brass castings, heavy chain, and a stud and spray paint it all gold.

As someone who makes jewelry, it kills me that this shit is so simple yet so very, very damn expensive. Can you imagine the markup on this stuff?

  • OpinionatedMtnGirl

Love all the rings! The rest, not so much

  • jen

Ooh, yay! It borders on tackiness but I like it!

  • d4divine

This collection knocked me off my chair…the jewelry…YES…it fits perfectly!!! XXXXXXX

  • NoveltyRocker

The finish looks like it came out a spray can but I do like that scarab pinky ring anyhow.

  • bizarro

Thank you for showing us the textiles up close. They are more beautiful when you zoom in! The jewelry looks cool on the runway but I would never wear it.

    • formerlyAnon

Yes, great point about this being a great chance to see the close-ups. Beautiful work in them.

  • ShaoLinKitten

The one that’s supposed to be a beetle? Is ugly.

  • Joyce VG

YEA! I will take the Cupid one please.

  • Monabel

    Equally banal and coarse.

  • SewingSiren

I feel like the astrology ones should be made of pewter and sold though mail order on the back pages of Seventeen magazine.

  • Jaeda Laurez

I hate the necklaces and the rings (they look like cheap beauty supply store jewelry), but I like the bracelets.

  • demidaemon

I say “Yea.” I would even buy and wear that Leo-themed jewelry, despite being a guy and clearly not having the funds to do so.

  • Dagney

oh. zodiac jewelry. no one has ever seen that EVER BEFORE. The originality here is just staggering isn’t it?

  • Renaissance_Man_ATL

Hughman hit the nail on the head. Very BK-C.

  • Nicole Little

Junky and boring (the jewelry and the idea that ‘signs’ predict personalities and life prospects). People love this stuff though. It’ll sell like hotcakes.

  • myristica_fragrans

    it’s so cheap looking.

  • bertkeeter

    Reminds me if Kieseltoncord? (sp)…

  • Imaginative , but they all look too uncomfortable to wear, so NAY.

  • manina

You could get a cervical hernia with those pendants. OUT

  • PJLA

Astrological signs are a classic theme for I say yes. Buy your signature piece and keep it for life. Then, on to the next theme..wild game, boho crafty amulet, classic links..To me, great jewelry pieces, real or costume, is all about adorning our stories. And..hello TLo Kitten, I’m Patricia from LA..nice to meet you all.

  • CommentsByKatie

Love that they are doing something strange and unexpected. Not sure if I like it yet, but I’m intrigued!

  • not for me. I’m no big fan of gold and they are just really clunky. I like the horoscope theme, but not in this version. But there is a headband on one model’s head that I really like 🙂

  • lilazander

Yea to the necklacess, they really interesting. NAY to the rings, they are clunky and they look cheap. I also like the gold+leather bracelets.

  • Jessica Freeman

Half and half for me. Some look like dead animals hanging…so no on those…but I like the zodiac representation.

  • conniemd

Nay. Fugly. Wouldn’t wear a single piece I saw.

  • As an occultist, I’ve seen more than my share of jewelry based on the Zodiac and scarabs. This is not as good as most.

  • CPK1

I love it. I will take the archer necklace and the ring and bracelet combo. Love the dull gold.

  • formerlyAnon

NAY. It looks like plastic kids’ junk jewelry from way back in the day, when Zodiac everything was in. As I scrolled through, I spontaneously developed a serious earworm. (“This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, Age of Aquarius, Aquaarius, Aquaaariuuuus . . . Harmony and understanding, Sympathy and trust abounding . . .” Any minute I’ll be thinking I smell that eu de pot, patchouli oil, incense and sweat.

  • tereliz

Yay for the scarab pieces alone. I’m a sucker for scarabs. (I’m a Cancer and have enough crab stuff, it all feels too summery)

  • kategs

Yay! particularly the leather bracelets. Best rendition of a classic style I’ve seen in a while.

  • kolokOlchik

    No, tacky tacktastic

  • EEKstl

I actually think these are a nice treatment of the zodiac. But as a Scorpio I’m not sure I’d want that big-ass scorpion around my neck.

  • xmixiex

  • VicD

What zodiac sign is the scarab?

  • i am unsure what the bracelet in the picture with the scorpio ring is supposed to be. any guesses?

  • Fuchaforever

so-so, some signs work more than others

  • Lidia Starkova

    Nope. Costumy

  • KT

  • guest2visits

While I like the chunkiness on some of the bracelets and rings; most, including the pendents are too over sized and clunky looking for me.

  • Melissa

I love ’em, but I’ve always liked that schlocky 70s zodiac stuff.

  • Jane

Versace was what I thought I read, but Valentino I am not loving it.
