I’ll make a deal with the lady bitter kittens. I’ll take the suit and you can have what’s underneath. Deal?

    • Nikko Viquiera

      suit? what suit?

      • http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOctocornNetwork International Model

I think he means the wrapper…

        • Domo_Konnichiwa

And under the wrapper are the tastiest calories you’ve ever seen.

          • http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOctocornNetwork International Model

Though they tend to go straight to the thighs.

          • Domo_Konnichiwa

I’m willing to get a thigh master for the experience :D

          • St. Ace

Who doesn’t want Tom Hiddleston on/between their thighs?

          • NYCGlamourpuss

            Here’s hoping.

          • jspark

If they know what’s good for them, they won’t stop there.

        • Danielle

The best description of a suit I’ve ever seen on this site.

    • YourBaloneyDontGotNoSecondName

A velvet McQueen tux with a shawl lapel? You go ahead and make all the deals you want with the lady BK’s while I walk right out the front door with it.

    • Anna Vasquez

Okay, but only after I tear it off him.

    • formerlyAnon

Sorry. If I get within deal making range, I will eventually want to redress him in that tux and hit some lovely fancy bars in which to flirt over over-priced drinks before removing it again. Strikes me as a game worth playing over and over.

    • NYCGlamourpuss

You truly are Santa, the Baby Jesus, and Bank of America on payday all wrapped up into one. I’ll take your deal. Gladly.

  • marlie

Hiddy looks so swoon-worthy here! LOVE this! (And yes, I’m ignoring the fact that his pants need a skosh off the length, and that his tie is also a bit too long.)

    • terpsichory

Is that his official nickname? It seems… wrong.

      • http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOctocornNetwork International Model

My maiden name is “Huddleston”. My grandfather’s nickname in high school was “Cuddleston”. I’ll take those genes over a cuter nickname…

      • marlie

I don’t know if it’s “official,” but I’ve heard it before.

      • Kimmu

The official nickname among the Hiddlestoners is Hiddles. See also Hiddlesworth for your bromance portmanteaus

      • NYCGlamourpuss

His nickname really SHOULD be “tasty piece of man-candy”. It suits him.

    • RussellH88

Hiddy sounds like a cutseyfied version of hideous. “Girl, I love you but that dress is a little hiddy.”

      • marlie

That’s usually the context in which I use it, but I think it’s rather cute for him, since he’s anything BUT hiddy.

  • Imasewsure

Dark but not boring. Really like the jacket (and the smiles of course)

  • MilaXX

I sent Saturday looking at clips of him on Korean SNL and I officially love him. I am even willing to overlook the fit of this suit even though the pants need a hem and the jacket looks a skoosh too big.

    • littlemac8

Me too! He just oozes charisma and charm!

  • julnyes

    le sigh

  • Rand Ortega

    Velvety goodness!

  • Tatiana Luján

    I love velvet.

  • gabbilevy

That pose he’s striking in the fourth photo is ah-may-zing.

    • jen

Mmm hmm! I had to linger on that one for a few seconds.

  • jen

    Yum.

  • tereliz

    Velvet tux jacket? *dies*

  • Jacqueline Wessel

Now I want to go find a man in a velvet jacket so I can hug him.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

“huggable” was my exact reaction to Tom.

  • misstressofsylar

if I can’t seem to stop stroking a regular velvet patch of fabric, then goodness what I’ll do with a velvet clad Tom H! perfect for my Monday blues. thanks Uncles.

  • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Apart from the hands in his pockets thing, otherwise, slammin’.

    • ChaCha_70

Agree about the hands in the pockets but I’ll gladly forgive him.

    • Renaissance_Man_ATL

      My thoughts exactly.

  • JP

I think Eddie Redmayne wore something similar once. The difference is Hiddles knows how to stand up straight. And smile.

  • JanieS

Don’t mind me, I’m just over here making sad-cat noises …

  • Kathy_Marlow

What is it about this man that makes me swoon over him? I’m usually in the Scandavian Warrior camp and here I am, swooning over his awesomeness.

  • Ashleigh

    mmmmmmm velvet!

  • Bethany Roullett

I’m not sure if I’ll be seeing this movie unless it hits Netflix (the hair and angst remind me a bit too much of my goth days), but I’m not complaining about all the red carpet coverage, that’s for sure! And surely velvet funeral director is a major step up from regular funeral director, right?

    • http://www.franticbutfabulous.com/ Heidi/FranticButFab

Velvet Funeral Director would be a great band name … ;)

    • Bridget Smith

Tom Hiddleston + Tilda Swinton = I’M THERE WITH BELLS ON (which I will graciously remove before the movie starts, so as not to disturb my fellow movie-goers with my inevitable flailing)

  • http://kittysdrawings.com Esz

He does not have a single bad angle. *swoon*

  • Trickytrisha

OMG, where’s Tilda? He’s adorable, but he needs a Swinton next to him.

  • another_laura

Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but isn’t this the exact same suit he wore in last week’s T Lo post?

    • JanieS

      That one wasn’t velvet.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

The tie needs a quick steam. Other than that, he looks perfect.

  • Diego!

Stunning! I love that velvet jacket! Please send me one to my house!

  • jw_ny

I want to rub myself …er..hands all over his…. jacket…

    • formerlyAnon

Don’t lie. I see velvet and think “pet that.” I see Hiddleston in velvet and it’s zero to sixty and in a blink of an eye I’m at “writhing.”

  • JauntyJohn

If you’ve not seen the clip of Mr. Hiddleston doing some impromptu dancing on a Korean talk show it is well worth the Google.
Clearly he was not prepared for the request, but acquitted himself more than admirably.

He is charm personified, and that velvet tux jacket is giving me the vapors — and I’m not even from the South.

  • formerlyAnon

I am tempted to say I am torn between which is more appealing, he or the tux (velvet. sigh.) But really, that would be less than truthful. They improve each other, but he’s the more amazing of the two.

  • http://phantomminuet.blogspot.com/ MinAgain

Tom always looks like he’s having a great time. That’s very attractive in a celebrity. The jacket’s pretty nice, too.

  • quiltrx

He comes across as so darned charming! And definitely knows how to dress–and has that thing that we normally only see in ladies–you can tell when he likes what he is wearing.
Adorable, sexy, AND rocking the velvet. Can’t find anything wrong here!

  • Bridget Smith

After watching his Henry V this past weekend, I have to say: he may be one of the very, very few men who look best with a goatee. It suits the lines of his face perfectly, and it makes him look distinguished where most just look douchey. Also, love the velvet jacket. Also also, CANNOT WAIT for this movie. If I could find the US release date, I would already have plans.

  • Chase

Such a cutie pie. That is all.

  • yethica

    GIVE! HERE! NOW! WANT!

  • MissAmynae

God I love it when he wears McQueen.

  • lorepottter

With that smile, i dont see anything else
