Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth on the set of “Hunger Games” in Atlanta.

Okay, maybe not that exciting, but still. We didn’t want to feel left out.

  • OH EM GEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! IS IT NOVEMBER YET????!!!!!!?????? KATNISS I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(how was that shriek? Fangirly enough?)

    • Domo_Konnichiwa

You need to add “HAVE MY BABIES!!!!!1!!!!1!!!11!!” to make sure the Fanboi market is covered as well.

  • Jessica Freeman

Liam certainly makes a better model than actor but OMG CALL ME LIAM!!!!!

    • Kent Roby

Okay, Jessica, you are Liam. 🙂

  • leahpapa

You really get a sense for how weird it must be to be a film actor in those shots where the camera is inches from her face. “You know, just be natural. Ignore this enormous mechanical eye looming over your shoulder and just, you know, emote.”

  • aeb1986

Ahhhh! Love! How great would it be if they started dating?? It would certainly be worlds of an improvement over Miley

    • Scimommy

      He is not worthy.

Sorry, that came out wrong. What I’m trying to say is, look at who she has dated (Nicholas Hoult) and look who he has dated (Miley Cyrus). They are clearly on different planes.

      • aeb1986

Haha- agreed. I was thinking more for aesthetic and shallow purposes than actual compatibility

      • Rhonda Shore

i thought his brother dated Miley…i always get them confused.

        • Violentcello

Wait a minute, Chris Hemsworth is his brother? This dummy never made the connection that two men with the same fairly unusual last name might be related. I wonder what could have distracted me?

          • Rhonda Shore

And there’s a third Helmsworth brother who is also an actor but i don’t think he’s been in anything yet. On another note, I’m still having trouble with Disqus on the TLo site, it often prints like a data page without space to add comments. I think this happens mainly if you link from FB, but if i go straight to the TLO site, it takes longer for the page to set, but i can then comment.

          • That would be Luke, who is the oldest and a successful actor in Australia. (I looked him up.)

          • Rhonda Shore

          • i’ve been having trouble with the edit function lately, but it seems to be working for me today. i get that data page problem too, but it usually clears up if i reload the page. also, i like my comments page with the newest first, but it always comes up with oldest first. if i click on newest, sometimes it re-sorts them fine, but other times it just spins its wheels.

these are my current bitches about disqus. thanks for bringing it up!

          • MilaXX

I’ve had that problem lately as well. I usually set my page for newest post first, but now it won’t hold that option and keeps switching to oldest post.

          • MilaXX

Disqus has been buggier than usual lately. Post sometimes hang before posting, or don’t post at all. Sometimes when you load a page disqus doesn’t load at all or as you mentioned, like a data page with no comment box.

      • fursa_saida

(I’m late) I agree. He was clearly done with the relationship before she was–which is fine, but then maybe break up with her before you go making out with January Jones at a party? I just don’t like how he handled the (long, drawn-out) ending of their relationship. JLaw isn’t my favorite person ever, but I still think she could and should do better.

  • Scimommy

Why are they wearing ugly pants? Is that integral to the HG plot?

    • Erica_Vuitton

      NO SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Scimommy

Wait, you mean they *are* integral to the plot?! I was joking!

        • Erica_Vuitton

If that question is answered as to why they are wearing them it’s a spoiler. These are shots from the first part of Mockingjay.

          • Jessica O’Connell

I was wondering if it was Mockingjay. I figure they must be in post-production for Catching Fire by now so I was confused. Guess this is what one wears in… the place where they go at the end of Catching Fire…see no spoilers! I was good!

          • do they have to wear gray because it’s mockingjay, and they are in solidarity with mockingbirds everywhere?

          • Sue_Asponte

Oh oh oh, that makes sense. I was wondering about the ugly pants too, but I didn’t realize this was Mockingjay. Thanks!

          • fursa_saida

Yeah, [SPOILERS I GUESS??] I figured it was a uniform thing. [END SPOILERS I GUESSED WERE SPOILERS] I appreciate that for once the pants are ill-fitting to the same degree for both genders, instead of “sad pants for dude, miraculously fitted pants for lady”

    • Kent Roby

Oh, darn, you figured it out; their characters must fight to the death for wearing drab pants. This happened right after another character was murdered for wearing white shoes after Labor Day. Oh, wait, I keep getting Serial Mom and The Hunger Games confused….

      • i thought maybe she had a kid, so she had to wear mom pants forever, and he was just wearing them in solidarity with her motherhood.

  • MilaXX

I’m insanely excited for the Catching Fire movie to come out!

    • Erica_Vuitton

I wasn’t that excited (2 is my least favorite of the 3 books) but the trailers make me stand up and cheer and now I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

      • MilaXX

2 is my least favorite as well, but I like Frances Lawrence, the studios appear to have thrown more money at this one than the Hunger Games and I just plain old love this series.

        • Jessica O’Connell

Mockingjay is my least favorite, which is why I’m so upset about them splitting it into two separate movies (hate that trend – it was only warranted with HP!), but still exciting to see the pics!

          • Erica_Vuitton

See that’s funny because as soon as I read it, I hoped they would split it into two because the first half feels so very different from the second half. Plus there is so much story I didn’t want to lose any of that in having it cut down to a 2 1/2 hour movie.

          • Jessica O’Connell

And I felt like there wasn’t enough to make it worth two movies…maybe I need to reread again? Who am I kidding…was going to reread the series before the movie came out anyway.

          • MilaXX

I agree, especially since I think part of the problem with Hunger Games was too much book to fit in one movie.

          • julnyes

I love Mockingjay for the same reason it is an odd book to read – it is told from the point of view of someone suffering from trauma, PTSD and depression. She is a mess in that book and barely keeping it together and I love it for that.

          • Jessica O’Connell

I agree, I do love her emotions during the book, I just get frustrated by a lot of it as well and felt, much like Katniss, that they were sitting around too much and not doing anything, such as saving a certain someone that needed to be saved.

          • fursa_saida

YES, THANK YOU. I was going through a really difficult time (though obviously I hadn’t fought to the death for survival) when I read the books, and Katniss’s coping mechanisms were very familiar to me. It was kind of a cathartic reading experience.

        • Erica_Vuitton

They could charge $100 a ticket and I’d still go to see it. #Obsessed

  • V No Privacy

The pants are an afront to the female figure. They are atrocities. Helen of Troy could not make these pants look good.

  • Jenny

Eeeeee! You boys have made my day!!! The pictures aren’t even all that great, but, dammit, I love me some Hunger Games!!!!!! (And some Hemsworth, even though he’s the cut-rate version compared to his brother. But cut-rate Hemsworth is better than no Hemsworth at all, amiright?)

  • RussellH88

My dad would love those pants.

That is not a good thing.

  • ashtangajunkie

Man, I do love a Hemsworth. Anyway, movie! I am so excited for Catching Fire.

  • xmixiex

imma be katniss for halloween!! *fangirl*

  • Danielle

  • mhleta

I don’t get the appeal of him at all. He is the personification of those pants for me. Meh.

  • OMG, are they in District 13? I think they are!!! Gaaaah!

  • Kimmu

I just want Katniss and Gale to be together and these shots torment me evilly

  • formerlyAnon

I am very impressed with their shoes. Anyone recognize them?

  • Maria

That has to be a scene from Mockinjay wearing the District 13 issued greys.

    • Erica_Vuitton

      Duuuude no spoilers come on!!!

  • lrhg

I’m strangely enamored with the shot of him crouching with the crossbow. I don’t know why.

As others have said, these pictures show how weird it must be to be an actor- Okay kids, pretend that we’ve just spent 2+ movies crushing all your hopes and dreams and relay that to one another convincingly. Ignore the 30 crew people around you.

  • RussellH88

The only thing that should be Catching Fire are those pants!

  • stubbornthoughts

I just love how unsexy Katniss looks here. It’s perfect and I love it.

  • Linda LaPaz

    He is the lesser Hemsworth.

  • Renaissance_Man_ATL

Poor things, it’s been in the mid-’80’s the past few days here in ATL.

  • Yolanda13

Are these stills from Mockingjay, Part 1? Looks like they are doing propos for District 13. Yep, I’m a geek.
