Chiwetel Ejiofor at the “12 Years A Slave” Premiere

Posted on October 09, 2013

Another boring, colorless outfit on the RC today. Is the entire entertainment industry in mourning for something, or do they all need to up their anti-depressant dosage? Snap out of it, you dirty little tumblers and acrobats.

Harrumph.

Chiwetel’s suit seems to be changing from black to blue and back again in every shot, so we can’t quite tell which it is, but neither version’s setting us on fire.

Chiwetel Ejiofor attends the “12 Years A Slave” premiere during the 2013 New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Our kingdom for a pink plaid tie.

This is sad-making. He can be sharp as shit when the effort is put in, but the jacket’s a bit too small on him and the look overall is funereal. We realize the movie’s not a laff-riot, but that doesn’t mean everyone involved needs to show up like they’re repenting for something.
