Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill on the Set of “22 Jump Street”

Posted on October 16, 2013

It seems to be “Dudebros on Movie Sets” week here at T Lo Celebrity Fluffing, Ltd.

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill on set of their sequel “22 Jump Street” filming on the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

We’re not at all ashamed to admit that we had to pause 21 Jump Street several times to laugh for several minutes. And we’ve caught it more than once. We doubt the sequel will be half as funny, but these pictures still made us smile.

Also: nice tits, Channing.

I have to agree, 21 Jump Street was one of the few movies that made me laugh out loud. Best part for me is when they are doing the car roll stunt and Jonah slams into the windshield and falls off….hopefully the new one will not disappoint.

      • ConnieBV

My favorite hands-down was “F*ck you, science!!”

    • Latin Buddy

I’m surprised that Channing is actually good at comedy. He has great timing and physical comedy. Didn’t think he had it in him. I also loved 21 jump street.

      • Lori

Tatum does seem to have a much better sense of humor about himself than the average hawt guy. He’s not my type and yet I find myself totally unable to resist being a little charmed by him.

      • lrhg

“She’s the Man” was my roommate’s favorite movie during college; I must have watched it 12 times. Tatum was hilarious in it and it was actually weird to watch him blow up as this romantic/dramatic leading man when I knew him more as the guy with the tampon up his nose. So yay 21 Jump Street for introducing everyone to FunnyChanningTatum.

I actually like Channing better when he does comedy. I’m not ashamed to say I laughed my ass off during the movie. I mean, this quote sums up the whole movie: “We’re reviving a canceled undercover police program from the ’80s and revamping it for modern times. You see the guys in charge of this stuff lack creativity and are completely out of ideas, so all they do now is recycle shit from the past and expect us all not to notice.”

Tiny cars, like tiny hats and baby otters, are not only among my favorite things but are instant comedy gold.

      • Sarah

Huh, I find tiny hats extremely sinister. WTF is wrong with me I wonder….

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOctocornNetwork International Model

You just haven’t found the right tiny hat….

          • Sarah

Maybe the wrong tiny hat found me already. An EVIL tiny hat.

        • Alloy Jane

Were there evil, fez-wearing monkeys in your childhood? Because that would explain your aversion to tiny hats.

          • Sarah

You may be on to something. Because you’re making me think of the shriners in their fezzes and tiny cars in every parade our town ever had. I always thought they were creepy because of that scene where they are rape-y toward Anne Margaret in Bye Bye Birdie. So there, that must be it. Mystery solved by Alloy Jane!

    • Emily Smith

I can’t wait for this movie, we bought the first one they did because we love it so much.

    • hughman

In the buggy, Jonah is doing that whole “I need to do something with my hands because I have such a crush on you and can’t control myself so I’ll just hold this bottled water in the air” move. Not that I’ve ever done anything like that.

    • sugarkane105

Channing is my kind of man beef. Can’t wait for this movie.

    • Julie Chase

Hey! Stop f**king with Korean Jesus! He doesn’t have time for your problems! He’s BUSY. With KOREAN SHIT.

This was the first movie that made me understand why Tatum was a movie star.

    • Sarah

Oh thank you for reminding me about that movie! I totally forgot about it. It WAS funny. Yay I can re-watch it. AND a sequel! Bonus.

    • Micaela Cannon

I didn’t expect to like 21 Jump Street at all….it ended up being one of my favorite movies in the last 5 years. I’m psyched for this!

    • ShaoLinKitten

I find myself hating Channing’s hair. Also, it never ceases to bug me that his neck is wider than his head. However, from the neck down it’s all good.

      Also, I love Jonah Hill’s bear t-shirt.

      • Cathy S

Agreed on the bear shirt. Love that.

    • Danielle

      FUCK YOU SCIENCE!

    • jen

I was pleasantly surprised at how hilarious 21 Jump Street was. It converted me into a Channing Tatum fan. I hope this one is as funny.

    • ConnieBV

Shirts with bears on them are a win.

    • MilaXX

I have to begrudgingly admit I liked 21 Jumpstreet. However, the more I see of Jonah, the more I get the sense he’s a bit of a jerk in real life. I’m sure I’m probably in the minority, but yeah.

You’re not alone in that assessment of Hill. Every single thing I’ve read, both interviews and gossip indicate a raging douche. Once he lost some weight, it only got worse.
He made it difficult for me to enjoy 21 Jump Street.

        • Denise Alden

I haz a sad :( I loved him in Moneyball.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Channing is my favorite meat and potatoes kind of man. Yum.

    • Victoria Anzalone

I didn’t know this sequel was happening, but it excites me! I don’t know why I waited so long to see the first one. Loved it!

    • quiltrx

He does have nice tits, I’ll admit.
I’m not much on comedies, so I’ll believe you all that the first was funny.

    • NinjaCate

THEY’RE DOING A SEQUEL?!?!?!?! The first one was hilarious. Super looking forward to this.

    • CeeQ

Yeah 21 Jump St was surprisingly funny for me as well =D So I’ll tune in to 22 =D

    • oohsparkley!

I just saw 21 Jump Street last Saturday and it made me giggle and giggle. I love Channing. I think he’s charming and hawt. I had no idea what to expect, I thought it was a serious cop show. I’m so behind on my Netflix that I can’t even remember who is in the movies I get.

    • ashtangajunkie

I did not get the Channing Tatum thing for the longest time, but I honestly like him more and more with every movie, interview, red carpet appearance. He just seems so awesome.

    • AnaRoW

I’m glad to see a sequel to this. I was very pleasantly surprised by the first one. 22 Jump Street is kind of a dumb name though, unless they moved the precinct across the street or something

      • tereliz

        They did.

    • Alloy Jane

Wow, I never thought I’d find someone who liked 21 Jump Street, much less a group of people. I really hated it. Channing was kinda funny but that other dude bugs the shit out of me. I saw him in Superbad and have been repelled by him in everything I’ve seen since. Couldn’t watch Moneyball because he irked me so much. But yeah, nice tits. Not sure how I feel about the hair, I don’t like it, but I’m not quite sold.

    • Anthony Duh

I go to Tulane and can confirm our campus had a meltdown over their presence
