She bears a striking resemblance to a gypsy doll my grandfather got me in New Orleans as a kid. Meaning, she’s pretty freaking glamorous to me in this (except her lips).

      • Rhonda Shore

It’s funny, it reminds me of the textiles of Central Asia. I have a vest from Uzbekistan that’s reminiscent of the textile. It’s cute but more spring than autumn.

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

Not sure about the hair BUT I LOVE THAT DRESS!!!

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Girl, that is no your wig. Give it back. The dress, on the other hand, is worth fighting for.

      • cakecakecake

        Laughing.

      • Sarah

Give it back to Lara Flynn Boyle, I’m thinking.

      • Morgendorffer

Agreed. Good lord is that ever a bad haircut and/or wig.

        • Little_Olive

The bangs (booms) look like… dare I say it? Jessica Simpson clip-on bangs? Yes, it’s that bad in my screen.
Insult to injury, because they certainly don’t become her face either.

      • MK03

        I’ll fight her for it.

      • littlemac8

I’m afeared she cut some booms and they are a travesty! Let’s hope for her sake it is a wig. And don’t we think Kelly Rowland’s hair is a wig too?

    • Coolekat

Fabulous dress. Models earrings are beautiful. Would have looked gorgeous on Camilla with her hair up.

    • charlie

Her hair is ghostly! The shadow looks like hair! But the dress is gorgeous.

    • lexilexi

Wow. She sure looks different with bangs… be they real or wiggy.
      Dress just ‘okay’ to me.

    • cakecakecake

      WHAT. IS. THAT. HAIR.

    • cakecakecake

      let me repeat:
      WHAT IS THAT HAIR?????

      • cakecakecake

        I’ll answer my own question:
        Synthetic Halloween Costume Geisha Wig?

        • Sarah

          Artificial Haystack Hat?

          • NYCGlamourpuss

            Definitely this!

    • Sarah

It’s Camilla Belle Bobblehead night! Purty dress though.

      • Glam Dixie

Should have read the comments first, great minds and all that. Love the dress.

        • Sarah

It is very lovely, and I like her jewelries too. Neck up, we just won’t mention. Also, I hate the gold disco peeptoes.

          • kimmeister

You can have the ring, I’ll take the bracelets. Deal?

            • Glam Dixie

I’d cut a bitch for those bracelets. Love them, I’d never have anywhere to wear them, but god they are gorgeous.

            • Imasewsure

Gurl diamond bracelets go with EVERYTHING. Good luck with the Sugar Daddy to provide them and then rock them 24/7

            • Glam Dixie

In theory I agree, but farm living is not conducive to jewels. I had blood in my ring Saturday and cow poop in it today. But doing normal people stuff, for sure, wear the hell out of them.

            • Sarah

Well, I can sell the ring and buy the bracelets, since we’re both partial. That’ll work!

    • Karen Belgrad

Maybe it’s the bad booms, but I just keep picturing how fabulous Leah Michele would look in this dress.

    • tereliz

Great dress but THAT MUST BE A WIG. Why, Camilla?

    • Glam Dixie

Super cute dress, hula bobble head doll hair. ETA: I want those bracelets

      • decormaven

Really. There needs to be one of these dancing on the dashboard.

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

I love that dress but fuck, way to overshadow the £££ in jewellery she borrowed.

    • hughman

She’s Lea Michele’s evil twin no one talks about.

      • Little_Olive

…because this one *did* get the nose job.

      • leahpapa

I was thinking Teresa Giudice realness.

    • Laura Renee

Ooh-la-la, most impressive dress I’ve seen on a celebrity in a while. Nice jewelry too. But the hair is so tragic.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Also, the strip of blue across the middle, not seen on the model, is bothersome.

      • marlie

        I just noticed that! Now I can’t unsee…

      • alyce1213

A very awkward break. Why was it done that way?

      • Glam Dixie

It almost gives it the appearance of a skirt and top.

      • MoHub

I suspect the dress was too long in the torso, and the print was no longer continuous once the excess fabric was removed, so the blue strip was added to mask the chopping of the pattern.

        • ampg

This seems right – it’s missing several inches of pattern at the waist. They should’ve added a skinny belt.

    • KT

That wig is ruining the look

    • Stella Zawistowski

Dress by de la Renta, wig by Ricky’s.

    • MilaXX

The hair is a little helmet-y but otherwise a very pretty look.

    • lunchcoma

I’ve had a crush on that dress since I saw it on the runway. It should be mine, but I’m glad it found a good home.

    • marlie

I think the dress is gorgeous! It has a really simple silhouette, which sets off the gorgeous fabric. The shoes are fine, and so is her eye makeup, but her hair looks like the haircut that I used to give my Barbies.

(And the nude lip still makes me angry.)

    • sagecreek

Oh, pretty dress! I don’t love the bangs, but dress pretty!

    • Blair Sylvester

say yes to the dress and jewelry and no to the shoes and hair

    • OpinionatedMtnGirl

      What a beautiful Easter dress

    • conniemd

That dress is so beautiful, the embroidery is fantastic and its so perfectly simply that it doesn’t need any design elements other than the material and the silhouette to set it off. More would ruin it.

    • Imasewsure

Barbie… but a pretty Barbie. Prefer it on the model though since the fit seems better but very pretty dress

    • formerlyAnon

LOVE everything but the shoes and the hair. I think the hair is fine, and it works because its edge of – oddity? mild unconventionality? – keeps the look from going too staid, but the same thing might have been accomplished with something that looks more definitively like a hair*style*. (Not that I know what should have been done, exactly, so that’s definitely a FWIW opinion.)

    • Rand Ortega

Who cut those bangs? Moe Howard?
      Gorgeous dress.

    • Molly

Dress is gorgeous but WHAT in God’s name is going on with that hair?!

    • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

she looks like a beautiful porcelain doll with a cloisonné dress. lovely.

    • jjjoy

That hair is a NO. She should stay away from bangs and show off those thick brows.

    • bertkeeter

Look at the waist of the model’s dress and then at her dress…..Notice the large gap of embroidery on the waist area on skirt! OOPS…!

      • sagecreek

So she’s not as tiny as a model? Good for her! You can hardly sustain a real career by not eating.

        • bertkeeter

@ sagecreek…my comment has nothing to do with her size…she gorgeous. I was referring to the production of this dress….that is a flaw. The embroidery is missing at the top of skir! It should flow continuously from top to bottom…not break up at the waist! For $2K-4K thats not acceptable…

          • sagecreek

Apologies, Bert. I was hanging out on another less friendly site today, and I misunderstood your comment.

            • marlie

That was your mistake. Why hang out at any other site? ;)

        • marlie

Annabelle pointed the same thing out up-thread, too. There’s like a 1-2 inch gap in the embroidery on Camille at the waist of the dress, whereas the embroidery is seamless from the top to the skirt on the model. It’s an alteration “fail.”

    • bertkeeter

But over all its beautiful dress!

    • crash1212

Is that a wig? A really BAD wig? If so…good for her, she can take it off and elevate this look exponentially. If not – well, get thee to a hairstylist STAT. Pretty dress. Not living it with those shoes.

    • LipstickForPigs

I’m wondering why she hired a wolverine to cut her hair.

      • bellafigura1

Yeah, that’s a beautiful woman in a gorgeous dress with a distractingly bad hairdo.

    • teensmom99

I wonder why all the style challenged don’t just go for Oscar and be done with it. I mean I guess it is possible to screw up his dresses, but it’s pretty hard.

    • allcapsERINN

I could not love that dress more. Gorgeous!

    • Miss WKS

Her hair needs to be arrested for MURDERING that dress….

    • Trickytrisha

Delicious dress. Hideous head. Where’s the Red Queen when you need her?

    • AnneElliot

The dress is gorgeous, but why the solid color at the waist? It cuts her in half. She could have added a belt, even. The model’s version with the continuous embroidering is much nicer.

And I HATE the shoes. I’ve never see a peep-toe I like, and shiny lame platforms are even worse. I won’t even deign to mention the horrible hair.

    • Coco Cornejo

Sorry, the dress reminds me of the Miss Universe regional costume competition.

      And now, Miss Ukraine.

    • Judih1

great dress for the spring. wrong dress for October

    • quiltrx

Gorgeous dress! Doesn’t seem quite on-season, but it’s lovely.
BUT WTF IS THAT ON HER HEAD? Did she go to the same wig shop that sold Kaley Cuoco that monstrosity a while back?

    • Olga Frayman

      That’s one ugly wig!

    • rondele

Haven’t we seen this dress before? It sure looks familiar. I love it on her. Surely that is a wig? Bangs do her no favors; too bad that embroidery doesn’t carry through like it does in the model’s dress, but it doesn’t ruin it for me. I even like the shoes.

    • calimon

She looks like a mannequin – pretty, but too perfect and stiff.

    • Jeremy Thomas Porta

I don’t think the bangs are doing her any favors.

    • Aaminah Khan

That dress is giving me life, which is good, because her hair is killing me.

    • NYCGlamourpuss

Hate the hair and the shoes, but L-O-V-E that dress!

    • ChrisP

Who would see the jewelry with all that embroidery on the dress? She should have worn the model’s shoes.

    • lobsterlen

Beautiful dress. I wish she had went with gold jewelry. The white gold is lost against the dress.

    • MoHub

I’m hoping the back doesn’t have some kind of ridiculous cutout since the dress is such a classic shape.

    • Erica_Vuitton

What is wrong with her hair? Is that a wig?? VERY pretty dress though girl, I’ll give ya that.

    • Lily-Rygh

I would cut a bitch for that dress. And I would cut any bitch who suggested I wear that wig.

    • jif

Great dress. Hair + make-up less so.

    • Aurumgirl

That dress is just perfect. Trouble is, I’m seeing the dress, and only the dress. She’s not living up to it, unfortunately.

    • jjtxgrrl

Her dress matches her name. Pretty!

    • Tatiana Luján

The dress is beautiful and I really like it, in spite of my dislike of circle skirts and skater dresses.
The hair looks like a wig and the shoes are ugly.

    • Kimberly Wilcox

Its a good dress. The hair is bad, and I’m not digging the styling all that much. The dress though is pretty great, its a good cut on her, the color seems to be all right (which would not be the same for some other women that might have ended up in this) and it fits her well. I guess the shoes are ok, they’ve grown on me as I’ve starred. But the jewelry doesn’t feel right. And well….we’re all thinking the same things about the hair.

    • LaSylphide

Love the dress, although not so much on her. On the model, the pattern on the bodice and skirt meet at the waistline; on whoever she is, they don’t, so it looks like a belt is missing. Also think it looks better knee length; calf length looks dowdy. Hate the hair.

    • Joyce VG

The dress is glorious. Is she wearing a wig?

    • somebody blonde

      Gorgeous.
