She ate lunch and now she can’t zip her dress up.

    • conniemd

Yes, this was my thought exactly. Get rid of the bare midriff and seam the dress up. Fabric too heavy but it’s a beautiful blue.

  • RussellH88

It kind of looks like a costume in a French sci-fi movie.

  • Nancer

Yuck, a tube top under a dress. Not fond of the design. The fabric also looks very heavy. This isn’t good. Sorry.

  • bellafigura1

Another dress that manages to have so much going on, it’s rendered boring. That’s a feat!

  • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Really just not lovin’ on this dress at all. Strange proportions.

  • BayTampaBay

A Big Fat Double Dose of pure FUGLY!

Fugly on Ahna O’Reilly and Fugly on the model……..What a double shot!

  • Karen Belgrad

It’s a very colorful Tae Kwon Do robe.

  • zenobar

    Well hello there, 1985!

  • valerie747

    Blue eyeshadow flashbacks.

  • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Hmmm, that’s pretty aggressive, right? It’s saying so much, all in angry tones.
    “Look at my sternum.”
“Fuck you, I don’t want to style my hair.”
    “Blue eye-shadows! Suck it!”
I don’t know what we did to make it so agitated, but I’m handing over my cookie and backing away, slowly.

  • Hetha Innis

Props for trying to be interesting, and that color looks great on her, but YIKES.

  • schadenfreudelicious

Awful, looks like her dress is unzipped and that “shape” right at crotch level is mighty distracting

  • Mary Carpenter

I am not a Mom, but I have strong urge to walk up to her and say “Oh hun, let me zip that up for you”.

  • rkdgal

The matching eyeshadow is a bridge too far. A Bridge Too Far, I say!!

    • charlotte

      Considering your avatar…she blue herself.

  • Jessica Freeman

A solid NO to all of the above.

  • Cameron Turner

Lovely dress but do your hair and don’t let your eyeshadow be so matchy…. you are better than this…

  • sagecreek

Don’t know who she is, but hate her eye makeup. Hate it so much.

    • Nelliebelle1197

According to IMDB, she is an actress who dated James Franco. And she is only 28. I would have pegged her ten years older. I think that is a sign the look failed. On the bright side, she has a lot of time to live down James Franco as the key component of her online biography.

  • Sarah

Grown -up look on a young lady that can’t pull it off. Don’t know who could, but she looks like somebody’s little sister, to me.

  • MilaXX

    Ugly dress and matchy makeup

  • In_Stitches

I don’t mind the dress, but she really F’d up the details. The hair looks like it’s a left-over from yesterday and the makeup looks like Barbie’s, after you wipe a wet applicator over her lids.

  • mjude

    I don’t think so

  • Kelly

Love the color, but the concept is decidedly odd and not working. The solid-color shoulder panels make her look like she’s wearing a backpack. The seams come at strange places, and yes, sadly, the center design looks very much like the diagrams of uterus/fallopian tubes in those “women’s health” pamphlets you get at the gynecologist’s office.

I do covet the model’s shoes.

  • decormaven

I’m not familiar with this actress’s work, but this is the second unflattering outfit she’s sported recently. If you’re going to be making more RC appearances, please rethink your styling strategy. Just a suggestion.

  • hughman

The dress and look are very “athletic”, like there’s “something she wants to tell us” if you know what I mean. I could have sworn she was wearing a backpack.

  • kcnitch

Funny that she wore this atrocity to a 50 Most Fashionable Women of 2013 event. Clearly she’s not on the list.

  • Constant Reader

I really don’t like this, especially the suggestion of a crotch window.

  • StephanieLovesTLo

The model’s shoes are cute. I wouldn’t mind this if she lost the matchy matchy eye shadow and the neckline on the dress was four or five inches higher.

  • unbornfawn

This might be a great dress if you ditched the tube top and closed the front seam up a little higher.

  • ashtangajunkie

I actually (surprisingly) really like the dress, but I think someone mucked up the styling.

  • 3boysful

Love it from the waist down. From there up? Notsogood.

  • marlie

She’s a perfect example of “close but not quite.” I like the dress a lot, but I hate the satin tank thing underneath. If that part extended to the waist (and eliminated the peek-a-boo belly), I’d love this dress. It could have been shortened a smidge, but the length is general is ok, and I don’t mind the shoes. She needs to look into a different hairstyle and a deep conditioning treatment for her hair, but I really think her makeup look great. Sure, it matches her dress, but for some reason it really works for me this time.

    • demidaemon

Is it really made out of satin? I seriously thought it was spandex, which means something went terribly wrong in its construction.

      • marlie

I just went with satin because it’s shiny, and the rest of the dress seems to be satin-ish. Either way, it’s the worst part of the dress.

Also, I meant “tube top” or “bandeau,” not “tank.” Whatevs.

  • LadyCelia

The bodice is extraordinarily awkward looking around the armscye. And I don’t think it’s the fit, so much as the way it’s designed.

  • therealkuri

This dress would be awesome if it was just tailored a little better and hemmed to just at the knee instead of below.

  • Danielle

Blue eyeshadow makes me viscerally angry.

  • kirkyo

Would more dramatic hair have saved this look?

  • SusannaGA

The dress is a monstrosity, so the rest is hardly worth noting. But if it were … eyeshadow, coiffure, shoes … bad.

  • jjjoy

i don’t know who this is, but she should’ve gone with an updo. and ditch the matchy eye shadow, please! the cobalt blue of the dress really goes with her hair color but the styling is amiss

  • Jaeda Laurez

I like it, just not on her. Needs somebody at least in Fashion Grad school and taller to boot. She’s not fierce enough for this, and that hair proves it.

  • Imasewsure

Oh good blue eyeshadow… great idea to go with that hideous blue frock!

  • ThaliaMenninger

I’m okay with what can only be described as an overdress. But it needs a whole cami/blouse, not a bra. And the blue eyeshadow must go. MUST. GO.

  • crash1212

Oh honey, no. You don’t have the fashion chops to pull this difficult, maybe not even pretty, dress off. Give it to someone who understands it, can nurture it and make it fierce. The adviser who thought you could pull this off and/or told you your make-up and hair were good…should be fired, immediately.

  • KT

    matching blue eyeshadow nooooo

  • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

I don’t want to be negative about a girl wearing a pretty colour but… she thinks blue suits her more than it does.

  • formerlyAnon

Pretty colors, but it’s as if one chose to wear fabric modeled on heavy and over-ornate wallpaper.

  • demidaemon

Not Most Fashionable is the event she should be attending. This is just bad and looks really wonky the longer you stare at it.

    The color is pretty, though.

  • Trickytrisha

I’m confused by this event and some of the people they chose to “honor”. It reeks of “whoever has the most persistent agent gets on the list”. But back to Ahna… the blue is pretty, the dress stinks. Most fashionable.. yeah, right.

  • CarrieBaby

The runway version doesn’t look that bad to me. I think she was trying too hard with the look and that eyeshadow

  • quiltrx

I would like this better if the bodice/neckline were different (as in it were closed instead of the tube top thing). I also would do away with the white highlights around the scrolls. It gives too much of a ‘craft project’ vibe.

  • not applicable

From the thumbnail I thought this was Debra Messing…

  • Pterodactyl111

    She needs a haircut.

  • calimon

The dress nifty enough. But, ugh, that hair! Did she just ditch 10th grade biology for this event?

  • Erica_Vuitton

Ohh that eyeliner/shadow is just bad! The dress is interesting. I’m not really a fan of the tiny triangle of belly, it makes it look like an unzipped scuba-suit.

  • LilyPad

I have a friend with a similar complexion and hair color to this woman, and I am always telling her ” Wear JEWEL TONES! ROYAL BLUES!!” I think she should stick with that color because it looks amazing on her, but probably redo everything else. What if they closed the neckline and redid everything south of the waistline in a solid royal blue and a less stiff fabric? And then washed and combed her hair at least? And redid her silly makeup?
