What a random pairing. But IMDB and various press releases assure us that they really did make a movie together, so we are duty-bound to judge them.
Keira Knightley and Adam Levine attends the premiere of “Can A Song Save Your Life” at the Toronto International Film Festival. Keira Knightley is wearing a Mary Katrantzou dress paired with Christian Louboutin shoes.
Apparently they were asked to do a line dance or something.
SHE: Nailed it once again. Another gorgeous “landscape” dress from Mary Katrantzou. And to those who constantly seem puzzled by our resistance to silly putty shoes, here would be the exact right time to deploy them, since the dress can get overwhelming if you over-style it. About the only thing we don’t love here is the hair, with the two little tendrils coming down on either side of her face. We know it’s seen as somehow romantic in an old-fashioned way, but whenever we see hair like this, the first phrase that pops into our head is “she’s come undone.” Still, she’s gorge. Score: 9.75/10.
HE: Is possibly a little douchey and definitely should have shaved for the occasion, but we can’t deny he’s rocking the look. The suit is beautiful. And perfectly fitted. It’s actually kind of refreshing to see a slim guy in a regular-cut suit instead of a super-fitted one. Granted, he could’ve rocked the super-fitted suit, but he’s clearly going for grownup respectability here (neckbeard notwithstanding). We might’ve recommended a slightly showier tie to keep this from looking too business-like. Score: 8.75/10. Trim that neck, son.
Combined Score: 9.25. Excellent.
