*wide eyed* Um. WTF did I just see??

    • Lucía Gavello

      I have no words.

  • YoungSally

I like Celine — but this is just odd. I guess one can’t wear the shrug/muff/bondage wrap with one’s arm through the actual slit because it would slide down…..

    • kimmeister

Don’t you love how the lining is in a contrasting color, to draw even more attention to the bizarre bicep opening?

  • HomeOfficeGirl

Ooof…fashion road kill, that one. Painful.

  • nannypoo

I would look sad and confused too if I made the same mistake she did and wore this atrocious outfit.

    • Rhonda Shore

Talk about being a fashion victim. This is horrific.

  • Julie Chase

She’s so beautiful, so all I can say is “WHYYYYYY?????”

  • Diego!

    OMG…. I’m speechless… in a bad way!

  • Fashion victim, or victim of a mugging? Hard to call.

  • ThaliaMenninger

That is what my mother would’ve called looking like a slop jar.

    • Tanya Wade

Hot buttered ass, in my mama’s parlance.

  • jmorino08

It starts out bad and only gets worse! That “thing” she is wearing as a top clearly doesn’t fit her, but even if she did would she be able to lift her arms? Also, do you think maybe it was meant to be a wrap, not an actual top? But maybe the worst part of the whole outfit is her ridiculous choice in footwear. There are not words for how wrong they are with that outfit!

    • When our oldest boy was 3 he was obsessed with his rain boots. He wore them every day, every where, with everything. He also wore his Winnie The Pooh blanket as a cape. We indulged him, because he was 3. This lady? Same concept, less excusable.

      • marlie

My nephew did the same thing with his rain boots when he was 3 or 4. And fortunately, he grew out of it before too long.

    • Judy_S

Agreed–but she got it from the runway version. Yikes.

  • Catiline

This hurts. I love her as an actress but this is the definition of a DISASTAH.

  • No. Just, plain, no.

  • MissHellDial

    that’s all I can manage….

  • Laurieandclaire

I can appreciate the top thing on the model, but she looks like she got stuck inside a tube top.

    • MoHub

I was thinking lampshade without the metal framing. And the slit looks like it’s torn rather than deliberate.

      • Laurieandclaire

Oh yes. The slit looks like she is desperately trying to get out and she ripped it!

  • Joey Melliza

she looks like a homeless crazy person

  • cleva1

oh awful… the booties are dreadful with this and the wrap looks like it is holding her upper body hostage

  • I hope she doesn’t need to pull anything off of a high shelf. Or fix her hair. Or touch her face.

    • MoHub

Well, it’s pretty obvious the hair hasn’t been fixed.

  • uprightcitizen

    Bless her heart.

  • schadenfreudelicious

She looks pretty pleased for someone whose arms are going to be stuck in that position all night…

  • Jaeda Laurez

Reminds me of those bridal shower “make a wedding dress” games, only with real fabric. This is how somebody always winds up looking with they call time.

  • E2_Remote

What a great looking woman. What a horrible outfit. The only thing working there is that the dress highlights her fantastic collar bones. And she needs to shoot her hair sylist, pronto; that combover is not fooling anyone about that dye job.

  • MaggieMae

    Oh. Now I’m sad.

  • bertkeeter

The reason her hair looks so atrocious maybe the fact that she cant reach her head with a brush while wearing that “straight jacket” of a hideous top!

    • Kristin McNamara

True that. That top must be INFURIATINGLY annoying to wear!!!

  • AC Simons

Classic scroll-down fug. This looked awful on the model – why wear those heavy ridiculous stank boots????

  • Garcia Loca

Dafuq is that muff on top of her dress? And whoever made those shoes needs to have their shoemaking license revoked.

  • Laurie Landry

Those boots are a whole new brand of frugly.

  • kimmeister

The dress is preposterous. It looks like a “make a dress out of a Snuggie” PR challenge.

I don’t know who she is, I thought she was Jessica Biel at first.

    • MoHub

But a Snuggie has actual sleeves.

      • kimmeister

Not after a PR contestant’s creative process!

    • Imasewsure

Was it her face or the atrocious outfit that made you think she was JB? Bad two ways unfortunately…

      • kimmeister

A quick glance at her face, especially the lips.

  • Carrieanno

    Poor dear.

  • Qitkat

Well, I’m so glad she was able to escape her captors to make it to her movie premiere. It must have been quite the challenge to design a garment on the run with only manicure scissors, an inner tube, and some discarded homeless persons rainboots.

    • Imasewsure

I read “manure scissors”… which if they existed, would also have been appropriate to use on this look

  • MoHub

Looks like a Project Runway fail.

  • MilaXX

WTH? Is she going to a Clockwork Orange themed party immediately afterwards? Seriously all that’s missing is a top hat and and lashes on the the right eye.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

I want so badly for her to do better with image, because I adore her as an actress. Fingers crossed that this is an all-time low. How would one even know if a garment like that fit properly? I know they are the runway shoes, but they are still a painfully bad choice.

  • Kirstin McAulay

Wellington boots and a straight-jacket….. somehow I thought one of Chloe’s alters would wear that combination first.

  • Jamie M.

    This makes no sense

  • Totally replicating the runway look in real life. Never a good idea. Number 1, it’s rarely functional. Number 2. I’ve got nothin’. This just looks wrong, restrictive, and sad.

  • knitnorth

    It just looks so uncomfortable

  • Sara Brams-Miller

    Oh honey NO.

  • YourBaloneyDontGotNoSecondName

    out because Y-Titties!-C-A

  • Jessica Wyatt

There are dresses that look like pillow cases — and then there are shirts that look like pillow cases you put on wrong.

  • Katie Wolf

Hilarious that on top of it being functionally ridiculous & the lighting making it look black instead of navy, it’s too small! I can’t stop laughing at this but I don’t feel great about it.

  • Imasewsure

JBF’d in the limo look from head to toe, including grabbing the wrong shoes off of the limo floor before exiting to the RC… wow awful!!

  • KingCrazy

    First reaction: Who?
Second reaction: …What am I looking at?

  • flamingoNW

    Head to toe Bad Idea

  • TAGinMO

What in the fresh hell IS this?

It’s an impressive feat of fugly that the clashing black and navy shades didn’t even register with me for a solid minute–so distracted was I by her HazMat boots and upper-arm labia.

  • TSkot

Aw, someone ripped open the seam on her sleeve.

  • RussellH88

Everything about this hurts my feelings.

  • joancarol

This only works if she had the same malady that caused George Costanza’s arm to involuntarily rise up.

  • Ruth Preston

This is likely the wrongest, most awful thing I’ve seen on this site in a very long time. And that counts the Miss Universe national costumes. I didn’t think it could get worse, and then I saw the PVC boots. It’s a sharknami of fug.

  • LipstickForPigs

  • poggi

Are they holding her loved ones hostage?

    Otherwise, I have no explanation.

  • RebeccaKW

Off topic, but I read the title of the movie as “Short Circuit” when I first glanced at it and thought it was a remake While I enjoy that movie for what it is, it certainly doesn’t need a reboot.

  • Anplica Fiore

    No and no

  • Jacqueline Wessel

    What the hell is that????

  • Not applicable

    ok- who????

  • Lily-Rygh

As someone with eyes, this outfit hurts my feelings.

  • JauntyJohn

I would have kept trying to hand her things all night just to see what happened.

    • random_poster

Hahahaha!!! I would have sat next to you, passing you things like salt shakers and such, just to egg you on.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

Oh Lord in heaven honey, NO!

  • Glam Dixie

I immediately thought this dress was a Stella McCartney before I read it because it’s a total WTF.

  • Maluca

    Her dress is broken. ::shrug::

  • sweet_potato

Why would anyone design this, let alone wear it? How did this make it past the sketch phase?

  • decormaven

Aww, somebody got a payoff for inflicting this style disaster on this unsuspecting victim. May the Karma Wheel of Style roll over them in a mighty way.

  • AmeliaEve

I hope she doesn’t have to eat, drink, or use the restroom while wearing that thing.

  • aahlife

This is the perfect example of the term “fashion victim.”

  • lobsterlen

Well I’ll be damned what will they think up next … Couture for electric shock treatment!

  • SouthernGirlRena

She looks insane. Not in a “I like wearing odd clothing and having everyone look at me” way like Rita Ora in the next post, but “this is my formal straight jacket and I need to wear rain boots so the tiny aliens can’t get to me” insane.

  • boweryboy

Strictly a runway only dress not meant for mere mortals to attempt.

I would love to see her try to lift her arms above her head in that thing. We would all get an eyeful.

  • marlie

She’s really, really beautiful, which is even more so evident considering that she doesn’t appear to be wearing a stitch of makeup, and it’s almost ok. But the air-dried hair and visible roots don’t go with the “glam” that the (FUGLY) dress conveys. As for the dress… it looks like she got tangled up in a cummerbund or obi or something. And I can’t even with those shoes.

    • demidaemon

“Glam” is not the first word that come to mind when viewing this dress. Or outfit. More like “fuck” followed by “what” and “the.”

      • marlie

Oh, I agree, but I guess I’m making assumptions about the designer’s intent (and not the reality). 😛

  • oohsparkley!

    Ridiculous. Let’s point and laugh.

  • Renaissance_Man_ATL

SILLY PUTTY BOOTS!?! Oh God NO!!! This cannot become a trend!

  • Sweetvegan

And both she and the model are holding a soft clutch that looks like it’s made of the same fabric as the dress. It’s like they ripped off the sleeve and turned it into a clutch.

  • crash1212

    Couture straightjacket w/putty hooves. WTF?

    • conniemd

      straightjackets are the new black.

  • Anniebet

Celine appears to be headed into Stella McCartney territory. Too bad this person went along for the ride.

    • Gosh. Stella is the first designer I thought of when I saw the dress.

  • Lilyana_F

Wow, did she loose a bet…

  • Introspective

this dress looks angry. cause its aggressively ugly. it doesnt go with the beauty of her face.

so the question i ask is what stylist thought this was a win? good crack makes for bad choices eh?

  • CeeRich

    This is hands down UGLY.

  • berkeleygirl

What happened to her hair? Hall used to be a lush brunette. This is just gawd-awful – like she just came on from spending too much time in the beach with no chance to rinse out the sea salt.

  • Hiddy. Complete hiddy.

  • Looks like an S and M outfit. Strapped down!

  • quiltrx

I thought I had reached my max on nausea for this one outfit…then I saw the boots.

  • Ugh. No.

  • altissima

  • Sara Hottman

    High five!

  • NoveltyRocker

The new golden brown hair with texture freshens and lifts her face so much that the strangeness below doesn’t even exist to me. But at least the strangeness is a risk with some kind of point-of-view and may mark the beginning of a much more interesting look for her.

  • librarygrrl64

Finally, something more hideous than silly putty pumps: silly putty booties.
