Livvy sure does love those shoes doesn’t she?

    • buttercup

TBF, this is the same day as the other set of photos in the Double Shot, this must be her leaving the studio.

      • PastryGoddess

        Ah makes sense now

    • Victor Beiramar Diniz

these louboutins look like this month’s version of the choo strapy sandals that were making the rounds earlier this season…

  • Random Compliments

I loved this, until I noticed that the skirt is kinda see through and she seems to have a pair of shorts underneath…? WTF.

    • Badgirlsgoeverywhere

I had to check the version on the model a few times but that’s actually part of the dress. Still distracting.

    • ItsDicey

      Yeah, this.

  • hughman

She’s all ready to crash through the ceiling to visit Prior Walter.

  • jmorino08

yeah yeah yeah, she looks fine. Let’s talk about that model. Who peed in her Cheerios the morning of that photo shoot?

    • Sarah

Nordic Model does not appreciate this stinkin’ dress, is what she’s serving.

      • Nicholas

Have to say, I kinda dig the WTF face.

A step up from ennui face.

        • Sarah

Well, she’s modeling the dress fine, and her face got us to talk about the picture, so I’m inclined to agree with you. Her job advertising is done, and I’m with you on being over the blank stare of boredom you usually see.

Gets hot under those lights when somebody picks the fur rug up off the floor and slings it over your shoulders. (Nothing says “resort” like a furry coat.)

    • TAGinMO

Perhaps the source of the urine was the large animal playfully slung over her shoulders.

  • makeityourself

Ooooh. — way too long. Cut three inches off the hem to just below the knee, and get thee some jewelry.

  • Anplica Fiore

Pop of color. Is it really that hard??

  • Sarah

Thirteen looks GOOD in that. Damn, I wish I could wear white and not look like a ghost.

    • Rhonda Shore

Olivia really looks just fantastic in white…don’t love the lower half of the dress though, it seems to puff out too much.

  • Sarah Thomas

That model’s face is hilarious. “The fuck am I wearing right now?”

  • kimmeister

I liked it better in the first picture when it didn’t look like it had any sheer parts.

  • bellafigura1

98% WERQ for me. I’d hem it to just below the knee, too. But she looks fantastic.

  • crash1212

I love this. Even with the semi-see through skirt. The face is doing all the talking here and it’s a beautiful one.

    • Nondescript

Although I’m kind of impressed with how glowy that white is. It’s like someone applied a TV “angel” effect to her.

  • There’s a severe case of jewelphobia among the stylists nowadays (along with the beltphobia that’s been noticed a lot lately too). Jeez louise–a plain white dress, you can’t break up the starkness of it with a big gold choker necklace or something?

  • conniemd

Well at least it’s white sheer and over a skirt and not granny pants. I love the flow and silohuette of the dress.

  • TAGinMO

Looks great standing up, and I’m sure it looked great sitting down too. Methinks TLo would approve heartily.

  • elemspbee

So this is a sheer dress over undergarment? These photos are so bad its hard to see the fine details of what might be a marginally interesting get up.

  • Trisha26

If I looked like this in a white dress I’d never stay home – but if my hair looked like this I’d be out with a bag over my head. This is a “style?”

  • flamingoNW

Looks great but would some jewelry kill ya? I like the length just fine.

  • MilaXX

Nice summery look. I have no complaints.

    • decormaven

Pretty much my take, but a little stronger jewelry would have been a nice touch.

      • MilaXX

I like the low key jewelry. The only thing I would add would be some earrings.

        • decormaven

          That would work!

  • Terri Terri

    I think she looks great!

  • alyce1213

Beautiful. I love when a dress dispels my prejudices — like Lily Collin’s bare midriff earlier today and the sheer overdress here. I think this is gorgeous, I can find no fault.

  • Louise Bryan

I like this. It’s a lot of white, but her face just stands out all the more, and it’s a very pretty face. The shoes are meh.

  • joanna dash

I love it. Head to toe fab.

  • LauraAgain

I love everything about this … but I do think a striking pair of earrings would be a nice touch.

  • Toto Maya

I always hate her makeup. She looks really refreshing here, except for the huge amount of makeup gobbed on her eyes.

  • Kelly

Scary makeup, terrible hair, lovely dress (fit, shape, length all work), hideous shoes – at least in the way they make her ankles look stubby instead of continuing the graceful flow of the dress. They didn’t work with that blue monstrosity she wore the other day, and they don’t work here, imo. But at least they seem to fit.

  • LaSylphide

Love the dress (and it FITS!), and she looks good in white (not easy to do). Not crazy about the transparency of the skirt, but it’s not TOO transparent, so I’m going to let that one go. Shoes: yuck. Here’s a perfect opportunity to wear some pretty shoes with a subdued pattern or a low-key color, and the best she can come up with is beige?

  • nannypoo

She looks good. I wonder why she keeps wearing those shoes. They look so uncomfortable.

  • Jan de la Rosa

You know what doesn’t feel right? Seeing those shoes more often than my toothbrush :/

  • Imasewsure

Wish the skirt wasn’t sheer but this is very pretty and it even makes sense for NYC in the summer. POINTS

  • Qitkat

All I really want to know is if her cheekbones are natural. She has such a distinctive face.
Nice to see a pretty white dress in August, even if a tad bit long.

A lovely, classic, romantically feminine dress… until I noticed the shortie lining under it. Wear a real slip that matches the skirt length. Trying to sex this up is just a big mistake.

  • formerlyAnon

Love the airy summer feel, the fit, the elegant lightness of this. Wish the dress weren’t harking back to the sheer-over-somethingorother look, but it is 2013, apparently this is akin to one of the “required elements” in a competitive gymnast’s program.

  • Garcia Loca

I love that Miss Olivia knows that sometimes (fine, always), it’s OK to just rely on THE FACE, because she’s got face for weeks.

  • fursa_saida

Hmmm. I think this is a nice dress in itself but not right for her. She does minimal very well (top half), but not so much the sweet virginal thing (big romantic skirt). I kind of want to send this dress to Emmy Rossum instead.
