IN or OUT: Hailee Steinfeld in House of Holland at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards

Posted on August 12, 2013

“Oh, she wins,” we said in unison. “She wins the Teenager Picks Awards red carpet, hands down.”

Hailee Steinfeld attends the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California in a House of Holland dress paired with Oscar Tiye ‘Malikah’ sandals and an Amanda Pearl clutch.

And yet…

Lorenzo loves this, but Tom wonders about that huge flamenco ruffle, as well as the match shoes. And we both kind of wonder if a toning the hair down a skosh wasn’t called for here, since the dress is so bold and everything’s so bright and colorful. And yet… doesn’t that clutch seem like an odd choice? Kind of sedate and mature, compared to the rest of the look, which is, if nothing else, fun.

But we’re leaving the final call up to y’all.

Vote Now!

IN! So CUTE and COLORFUL! What the fuck’s wrong with you whores?

OUT! You whores make a lot of good points! Plus I hate it!

The Precious Unborn Fawns were not, as one, in favor of Kelly Rowland’s jigsaw puzzle dress, and after much spirited debate, the vote came down to OUT.

IN this whole thing makes me smile and what better time to go a bit over the top when she’s surrounded by other teens going over the top?

    • Courtenay P

IN despite the horrible makeup. On board for everything else.

      • Lucía Gavello

I hate that makeup and the hair is overdone, but I like everything else and I LOVE those shoes even if they are matchy. So I am of many minds it seems but the overall score is IN.

      • YoungSally

But the horrible eye makeup is exactly what makes it so TEEN

      • fursa_saida

I feel like her makeup’s been out of control for a while now? It hurts my feelings. I also wish she’d cut six inches off her hair, but at least it’s usually styled decently.

    • RuthGo

I love the dress, great choice for her age, flamenco ruffle doesn’t bug me but what I’m not OK with is the wonky fit in the bust. But, still, giving her an IN.

      • MoHub

I think it’s too long in the torso, so the neckline is riding too high and looks as if it’s trying to choke her. The rest is fabulous, though.

      • fallinseattle

The fit in the bust is making me crazy. Enough to make me give it an OUT.

        • SugarSnap108

Yep. If the top was even close to fitting her, I’d give it a lower-case “in” for cuteness. I could overlook the awful makeup and hair, but not that bust.

    • Josefina Madariaga Suárez

IN because she brought it to the kidsters red carpet.

    • Little_Olive

The thing is, she is pulling of a hard dress. But on a closer look, the makeup isn’t right (omg those lids), the clutch is wrong, the nails are too matchy and the hair is messy.

      Not so great really.

    • Meg0GayGuys6

Tough call… The neckline/everything north of the boobs is making me itch.

A small “in” because it’s really fun. Not capped because of the fit up top.

    • Sobaika

OUT – Great dress but hair, makeup, clutch, and maybe even the shoes need replacing.

    • Heather

OUT. Hate the ruffle. Hate the matchy, too-large shoes. And that’s TMM (Too Much Makeup – here, on the eyes) for such a young’un.

    • filmcricket

Out. The fit in the bodice makes baby Jesus cry.

    • Chuck Barthelme

Kind of an odd dress, but I like the colors. And I can’t argue that she looks pretty great in it. Might look strange on anyone much older than she is though.

    • Tanya Wade

IN. I love the toes in blue and the fingers in orange – it’s like a Garanimals pedi/mani combo!

    • sugarkane105

The hair’s not great, but definitely an IN for me. It’s just so much fun!

    • Danielle

      IN for those shoes alone.

    • Daisy Walker

“You whores make a lot of good points!” Cannot stop laughing. And OUT.

    • Chris

OUT- everything about this look from the makeup to the dress is way too mature looking for a teenage girl. Why try and make a teenager look like she is in her 30’s at the Teen Choice Awards?

    • amber.

out. that make-up, the hair, the ruffle. take that ruffle off, pin up the hair & you might have a win. but not today.

    • Anathema_Device

In, but with reservations. The fit through the bust is really odd. I don’t mind the ruffle. It adds an extra bit of feminine fun to the look.

    • Cameron Turner

IN, but they need to get the fit in the bust correct…. love the shoes..

    • isapaiva

It’s fun, but the fit is horrible! Not only is it pulling across and under her chest, but the neckline gaps in the weirdest way. The dress is already pretty busy, so it needed to fit perfectly to look good, IMO.
I like the matchy shoes, the cluth is incongruous, and though I don’t like the hair and makeup, it is very teen, so I’m ok with it.
      ETA: Out

    • Melanie Suzanne

Yes, yes, yes! I love everything about this. IN!

    • MartyBellerMask

Cute cute cute! But the pattern not lining up is making me Bobby Draper bonkers.

Still I give it an IN.

      • quiltrx

With that seaming, though, I think the pattern ever lining up would involve some sort of deal with the devil.

    • BazoDee

    • poggi

It seems appropriate for the venue and even the mistakes seem appropriate (like a kid trying to be fancy–lots of eye makeup, evening clutch, matchey shoes) so IN.

      • Beardslee

I agree. That is teen girl eye makeup.

    • bookish

Definitely an IN! Sure, the matchyness is over the top, but it’s colorful and fun and seems perfect for the occasion.

    • MilaXX

IN! At an awards show where the trophy is a giant surf board, I think the brightness of this look works. Any other venue and I would complain about it being too matchy.

    • Telperion

      Uh that fit. OUT

    • BPlease

In! Perfect – fun, bright, colorful, cool, age-appropriate.

    • trisker

The shoes are amazing. I’d say they carry the outfit to an IN, in spite of many other slight flaws: hair, makeup, fit.

    • gabbilevy

IN, because even though she flubs the details (head in particular, and the clutch) the dress is fun and bold and venue-appropriate, and you can’t ask for much more than that.

    • fishmermaidman

    • kayleymaybe

IN! Could use some work on the details, but a good (and venue and age-appropriate) look overall.

    • Beth513

IN, but I agree about the hair, a nice pony tail would have worked here, and the bag is kind of grandma.

    • VioletFem

IN. I like the boldness of this dress, which is totally appropriate for the venue. My main quibbles with this are that the fit seems a bit to tight and the clutch doesn’t really go. However, it is still overall a really good outfit. I’m also a fan of the makeup.

    • carolynmo

In! I love this. She looks like a doll.

    • marlie

IN! I would have gone with different shoes, but overall, I love this dress on her!

    • anyalama

OUT. The fit and proportions are awful.

    • The Versatile Chef

I had a red and white polka dot version of this back in 1985. Loooved that dress, and I give this one a solid IN (with a hair and makeup change).

    • Julie Chase

In. I don’t love the ruffle either, but she’s young and this is vibrant-pulling it off.

    • PeggyOC

Out. Never, ever with the dust ruffle hem. Cut it off, and this is back to an in, with a capital letter for the shoes alone.

    • annamow

Oh, come on, for that venue? It’s a total IN.

    • Jangle57

My first thought was OUT and taking a second look, I still think out. I think it’s the ruffle the bugs and throws the whole dress off-kilter for me

    • Ashley Carr

In, although it would be a super cute shift without the ruffle.

    • mjude

    • elemspbee

IN. the dress, the hair, the ‘tude–she’s living it. total commitment to a look.

    • Trisha26

    • FoxInSocks

I think she looks totally appropriate for her age and the venue, so IN. This is totally a picture she’s going to look at when she’s 29 and think “Oh god what was I doing, do my nails match my dress? I was such a dork!”, but that’s part of the fun of teenage pictures, isn’t it?

    • AmeliaEve

Those shoes are love at first sight for me. And I love the fabric and silhouette of the dress, so I can overlook the weird fit for once. She looks bright and fun and young and not overdone.

    • Jaeda Laurez

I LOVE the print, and I would fight her The Bride vs the 88- style for those shoes, but it was scroll down fug for me. OUT.

    • Elizabeth Flowers

I say in, but the neck line needs to be…not that neckline.

    • mini_d

In! But go wipe off your makeup young lady. You’re too young, and it makes you look botoxed.

    • Judy_J

I’m giving it a marginal IN. The dress is young and cute, but her hair and makeup are awful.

    • formerlyAnon

Is the neckline supposed to jut out like that? It looks ill-fitting right there. HOWever, as much as I’d prefer the dust ruffle went missing, she’s 16 and it’s the Teen Choice Awards. IN.

    • Nexli B

In! Perfect for the venue and she looks like she’s having fun!

    • unbornfawn

Love the shoes, especially for this event. Rip that ruffle off, wash her face and hair and start over. Like the clutch, but not with that outfit. The fabric and colors are fun, don’t like how the bodice is pulling badly. Total score: OUT.

    • jw_ny

The bold red-winged shoes, big curly hair, ruffle, and excessive eye makeup send it into tacky telenovela awards show territory. The fit at the bust is way off…looks like she stuffed herself with a couple of odd sized towels….

    • KingCrazy

Seriously, most of you seem to like this?

      Out. So, so, so out.

    • LaSylphide

Overall IN. (But that heavy-handed makeup is a major demerit.)

    • jen

In! Love the dress, shoes and hair! The eye make up and clutch are questionable, but overall a big IN for Miss Hailee!

    • Jessica Freeman

The proportions are off for me, and its entirely too much hair. The shoes are what pushes it to an IN for me. Barely.

    • Jessica O’Connell

IN – As much as I know you guys aren’t a fan of matchy shoes, I feel like they were needed here. I think that it all works very well, though they could have toned down the eye shadow a bit.

    • kim bunchalastnames

LOVE! i don’t think the ruffle would work on most other people, in most other venues, but here? on her? PERFECT.

    • GoryDetails

OUT. While I admit to being prejudiced against the color and pattern, my main objection is that it looks clunky and poorly-fitting, something like a home-ec project. [I also hate the limp flamenco ruffle.]

    • Jackie4g

IN – she’s adorable and appropriate. If the rufle placement were raised 2″ and the ruffle itself shortened 2″, then the proportions would be a little better for her, but as it appears now, it’s pretty darn good!

      edited for typos

    • MelVT

No! The neckline is completely disqualifying. The dress simply doesn’t fit, however cute it is.

    • GorgeousThings

OUT. It has lots of potential, but the over-matching of the accessories and nails, plus the absolutely dreadful fit, keeps it from fulfilling that potential.

      • Lisa Hager

YES. The fit is horrendous. SO OUT.

    • Laurieandclaire

The head is a mess! The hair is too much and her eyes look like they were done in the car on the way. But the dress is fab! I don’t even mind the matchu shoes so much. So…. Tiny in.

    • MK03

OUT. The dust-ruffle kills it. Get rid of that and it would have been aces.

    • HomeOfficeGirl

IN for me. Probably OUT for the target audience. The color is gorgeous and bold. But the dress is super conservative. If you take off the ruffle – you lose the great blue contrast, so I’m not sure what could have been done to get it more solidly into the “fun & teen” arena?

    • Super_Red

IN!! She is PERFECTLY dressed for the Teen Choice Awards. I would say in for no reason other than the refreshingly cute, attractive, AND covered up skin on a teen starlet, but it’s also a really awesome look. I would have toned down the hair and makeup, but that’s not such a big issue overall. She is at the Teen Choice Awards after all. And I covet that neckline. Adore!

    • Sara__B

Perfect? No, especially the fit, hair, and makeup. IN? Definitely!

    • thecitysleeps

OUT OUT OUT. Horrible make up and shoes and clutch and bottom part of the dress.

    • samo_samo

In…I only question the clutch. Otherwise she looks right for the event.

    • Emily Roach

      IN, you whores!

    • Cz

IN, but I want to wash her face, so she doesn’t look like she got beat up at the parking lot.

    • ChelseaNH

The length and the matchiness of the shoes are questionable, but it’s more right than wrong, so IN.

    • kimmeister

It’s such a “could have been.” The dress is awesome but doesn’t fit her, and she is wearing waaaay too much eye makeup.

    • flamingoNW

IN. Hair not great but it’s pretty awesome overall

    • snarkykitten

      fuuuuuuuck that is ugly

    • ThaliaMenninger

Yeah, I’m ok with it. The color is nice, it seems to work all together for the most part, and I’m voting IN. But what was wrong with Oscar Tiye that that shoe is not called Mercury?

    • MandyM

She looks young and fun and cute! IN

    • Sweetvegan

In! The bodice/back waist length on the dress is too long, which is why the fabric is all wrinkled across her chest, but she’s in! It’s a great, fun dress!

    • Jamie M.

Out. The dress is fun but not enough to make up for that make up. At least for me.

      • Tatiana Luján

        The makeup is terrible.

    • Pannyx

Out. That color combination also screams cheap to me.

    • Tatiana Luján

In, because I love the outfit, but I desperatedly want to wash her face and remove that ugly makeup.
(I had to remind myself that girls her age love that kind of hair)

    • Donna Tabor

In, in, in. I saw this elsewhere and it was my favorite of all the red carpet looks shown. It’s such a pretty silhouette.

    • Kate4queen

      out sorry :)

    • Sara Leigh Merrey

In and out? I like the shoes and the dress (would have been better if the flounce was at or above the knee though). Clutch, hair, and makeup, not so much.

    • Nariya

Out. I get it, and I’d have given it a pass for being fun, but the purse is a big ol’ womp-womp. Maybe I need more coffee.

    • Richard Banger

The clutch is wrong, but the overall look is adorable. IN!

    • therealkuri

I *hate* that that dress doesn’t appear to even think about ways to avoid disrupting the pattern with the bust darts. Such a small detail that could bring it from looking cheap to looking fabulous.

      • conniemd

We posted the same exact issue at the same time :)

    • conniemd

What bugs me is the way the side panels cover up the starish design thingy right over the top of her nips. It’s like the dresses that have a big design right over the crotch, drawing emphasis to it. Seems like they could have matched the material better so that the side panels didn’t cut the boob design in such an obvious place. Still she looks cute at first glance so I’d go in.

    • Candigirl1968

Looks ill fitting in places. Not loving the nearly nude lip with the over the top blue eye shadow. She needs to give the purse to her mom. The nails and toes are one matchy matchy touch too far.

Lots of good ideas here, but questionable execution.

    • RedRaven617

I’m saying “in”. She’s 16 and it looks like something a 16 yr old would wear to a special event. Love the toenails.

    • appliquer

In – I saw this on another website this morning and thought it looked fantastic on her (I do love the bold color). The only think I would change is the over-done eye makeup. Too much for her.

    • MzzPants

      In, due to her age.

    • Maya

in! over the top is ok for this venue.

    • jkatkins

Conceding the Uncles’ points, but the overall fun + age-appropriate factors make this an IN for me.

    • JauntyJohn

IN. Age and venue appropriate, plus she looks both comfortable and pretty. Not crazy about the hair but… she’s 16.

    • Just Me

In. Like it on her. Works in the venue, she still looks like a teenager and it is super-cute on her.

    • nannypoo

I like it but I would like it better if it were a little shorter. The length is a little mature for her. Hate the clutch. She’s adorable.

    • 3boysful

A qualified IN, but I prefer the model’s shoes, she should have a ponytail rather than va-va-voom hair. Then I could deal with the overzealous eye makeup. But I don’t think Queen Helen would deign to carry that sedate clutch, esp since it doesn’t really co-ordinate with the ensemble.

    • Shawn EH

In. Could have dealt without the smoky eye, though.

    • Watts

IN until I got to the matching toenails with the matching shoes and it went to OUT.

    • hellkell

Out, the makeup is killing me.

    • Lori

A qualified IN. The bodice doesn’t fit as well as it should and I would have preferred that she tone down the hair & not have had matchy-matchy shoes & pedi. But it’s fun and she’s a teenager at the Teen Choice Awards so I’ll give it to her.

    • Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

IN! IN! IN! It’s not a look without problems, but overall, it’s fantastic.

    • aeb1986

Out- I hate all of this

    • Rhonda Shore

In! She looks adorable and original!

    • crash1212

This is an OUT for me. I do love the print of the dress, but that “collar” thingy is not doing it for me and I think the ruffle is WAY too long. The hair is a bit much and the clutch is ill-chosen. I do love the shoes though.

    • ringthing

That’s an awful lot of slap on her pretty young face but she’s so cute otherwise that she’s an IN. That dropped waist ruffle thing from the 80s appears to be attempting a comeback – not flattering to anyone older than Hailee’s age.

    • Peeve

The whole thing comes off a little matronly to me, especially the boat neck, the length, and the purse. Obviously, the color doesn’t, but I guess I’m not a fan of the dress.

    • Chaiaiai

Her makeup makes her look like April on Eastbound and Down. Not a compliment. LOVE everything else, tho, so IN!

    • LadyCelia

In! She looks fabulous and just over the top enough to be age appropriate.

    • barbarienne

The skirt needs one inch taken out both above and below the seam at the flounce, and the clutch is just completely wrong. The shoes are cute, but they bug me because I want the wings to face the other way so she won’t fly around backwards.

Nonetheless, she looks happy and bright and cute. Unreserved IN.

I love the hair. She has a comic book character’s hair.

    • MGMcD

In on the shoes alone. I need those now. The matchy doesnt bother me because they have enough personality on their own. Issues with hair and makeup sure, but still overall a good look.

    • HobbitGirl

OUT. The starbursts and pleats are doing very weird focus-pulling things to her nipple area, and Hailee Steinfeld’s nipple area is not an area I want to concentrate on. LOVELOVELOVE the shoes though.

      • Dan_In_NYC

The weird seaming at the bust and how it interrupts the pattern is my issue too. Overall, it’s matchy matchy and yet I still think it’s a graphic look. There are enough quibbles to make this an out for me (eye shadow, hair, seaming) – but it’s just an out and not an OUT. She was close…

    • Mary Featherstone

I just can’t with the eyeshadow. Out. :(

    • ashtangajunkie

IN. Despite the issues (fit, hair, makeup, etc.), I can’t deny that she looks adorable and happy and perfect for the venue.

    • Anastasia

Out………to go flamenco dancing, because she’s such a cutie (Comic Con won me over) and we can sweat off the eyeshadow! Otherwise, it’s an in — especially since the other looks on this carpet weren’t exactly stellar.

    • Bailey Debruynkops

    • Ashley Ellen Wilson

    • E. D.

IN although it could have fit better in the torso.

    • mmebam

In. But I can’t with the fit in her bodice.

    • alaskahyoung

Ugh, out! Everything makes me twitch.

    • lalahartma

Sure, in, not too impressed tho

    • Jenna Marie

IN. The makeup is awful, the hair is questionable at best, but I’m totally okay with the clutch and shoes. The dress is obviously gorgeous.

    • Tracy_Flick

Oh, so close. Where to begin… The makeup is awful. It reminds me of an acquaintance who got into body-building, and now every Facebook pic has spackled-on makeup and comically puffy features. Dreadful. I absolutely love the two fabrics of the dress, but the neckline is choking her, and the length is unflattering. The ankle-strap shoes with the midi-length skirt are seriously stumpifying. And the matchy matchy toenails – no.

    • LibrarianLizy

The makeup and the hair need to be toned down just a tad. That’s a lot of hair and a LOT of eye makeup for her. I like the dress; I just wish it fit her as well as it fits the model. I love the shoes and blue toenail polish. If you can’t color coordinate to the extreme at the Teen Choice Awards, where can you?

    • CheriCPat

I wish she had her toes painted Orange, the contrasting blue there looks like she is trying to hard. I agree her hair and makeup need improving, but the overall look is happy and fun, so she gets an in.

    • DominoEstella

IN. I love it, except for the matching pedicure. I can do without that shit.

    • Susan Velazquez

    • OrigamiRose

IN, though I’d prefer different shoes, and different polish on the toes. I just can’t with the darky dark stuff.

    • Celeste

In! She’s rocking an appropriate look for the venue and her age.

    • Anniebet

IN. But, Sam… you made the ruffle too long!

    • clevRcat

In — really love the dress. Questionable accessory choices but not bad enough to take it to Outland

    • Warrior89

IN. She’s young and it’s adorable.

    • Tom Markiewicz

OUT. waaaaaay too much look for her to handle; plus she looks like Rizzo at the prom…which is not a good thing here.

    • sagecreek

That lower flounce, you liked that? Really?

      OUT. And I love HS.

    • Random Compliments

      OUT. Carmen Miranda.

    • CommentsByKatie

I HATE this, actually. The make-up looks awful; she looks 15 years older than she is. The long hair and the long dress make everything seem heavy. Plus all of the horrible colors…? Just ugh. I think someone older/taller might be able to pull this off, but to me she just looks silly.

The model looks 100x better than she does, it has to be OUT!

    • cheekypinky

      Love. It.

    • Louise Bryan

IN. The color is happy, the dress fits, and it’s OK to be matchy and wear crazy toenail polish when you’re a teenager. Granted the clutch doesn’t go; maybe she picked up mom’s by mistake?

    • sleah_in_norcal

the dress is ok and venue appropriate, and the shoes are faboo! the hair and makeup suck. overall, i give it a pass, so yes!

    • CatherineRhodes

    • elzatelzabelz

OUT- shoes are awesome, top of the dress and hair work. Bottom is not good. Plus, Nina Dobrev won that carpet and I don’t even like pantsuits!

    • BP180

OUT. Weird and awkward. HORRIBLE makeup.

    • somebody blonde

IN! Everything you said! Yeah, the ruffle is a little much, but whatever, it’s unimportant.

    • stagmania

IN. Kind of hate the shoes, but the looks is very fun overall.

    • Pterodactyl111

    • GTrain

    • MiriamMc75

IN. Not without its slight flaws, but overall really pretty, unusual, and striking. Go girl!

    • akprincess72

She doesn’t look like a ‘ho? In. For this event she seems to be the exception so she gets a pass. Plus, she looks comfortable in it, you can tell that SHE thinks she looks pretty. That’s always a nice thing.

    • altissima

In! Yes the shoes are matchy, but they have WINGS! She looks gorgeous and age and venue appropriate.

    • Cousin_Rose

      Adorbs, in!

    • sleepycat

Tough one. I would love the dress if the bodice wasn’t so high up on her. The hair and the makeup are a mess. I LOVE the shoes though. Sorry but this is an OUT for me.

    • Katie

IN! The clutch is a bit ‘off’, but Its what 90% of teens would choose if you told them to pick out an evening bag, so in context its charming.

    • Sophia Vaccaro

Are you guys going to do a Teen Choice Rundown? I’ve been hankering for a good one-phrase-per-outfit post.

out, but 98% because that eye makeup reminds me of an eighth grade makeup experiment.

I think the hair would have looked cute up, might as well embrace the flamenco vibe if you’re halfway there.

    • annrr

In – altho with different shoes and less eye make -up. I like the eye color but there is too much of it.

    • Imasewsure

IN don’t like the bottom of the dress personally but it’s a great look for this venue.

    • SorayaS

Oh the poor dear. OUT. The proportions of the dress are awful even on the model and despite the colours it seems too mature for her and for the event. Also dislike the hair and makeup. Keep the shoes and start again, honey.

    • ankali

OUT. You whores do in fact make a lot of good points, plus I do in fact hate it (I’m biased, though, in that I generally revile orange). Not digging the hair & makeup, either. I will grudgingly allow her the shoes, but not with this outfit.

    • BuffaloBarbara

In, especially for the venue. She’s cuter than a bug’s ear here.

    • Reality TV Casting

out this required an updo and the drag eyes are painful- this silhouette does not do her any favors and the ruffle needs some zhooshing. also that is SO not her color… it sings on the model but it just muddies her up

the saving graces are the clutch and shoes-inspired, but the shoes are counteracted by the barbie matching toe polish… which matches the rupaul eyez + dress
seriously tlo such a disgrace of an out how can this be up for debate?

    • kmk05

It’s the eyes that clinch it for me: OUT! With that much dress (which is phenomenal and made even more so with that ruffle, I am ashamed to say) AND the shoes AND the hair… those eyes are too much. She also can’t actually carry out a smokey eye properly or her MUA needs to be fired, because that is one weird eye shape.

    • ♕ Natalie ♕

the makeup is awful but as a kid herself i think she’s allowed all that matchy matchy colors and patterns!

    • Claudia

OUT – for all the stuff you said. And the length.

    • DCSheehan

In. But the model’s blue shoes would have made it a win.

    • teensmom99

IN–but just barely. Too much dress for her. I think it needs an older woman–but one who can wear crazy, colorful. I think the dress is wearing her.

    • desi_girl

OUT! For all the stuff you said, and that ill-fitting bodice and neckline!

    • Town

The dress is cute in theory but it doesn’t work for me. Maybe if the color/patterns were reversed with the dark blue at the top and the red being the ruffle?

    • Nancer

I love this. Totally age appropriate, and I think the winged shoes are adorable. IN!

    • Sunshine16

hate the ruffle & eye shadow so much, I sadly have to call this one out.

    • librarygrrl64

Out. It’s a great print, but the overall style is just too Charo for me.

    • ConnieBV

IN. This look is all about the sexay.

    • mhlmh

    • CNM

Out. The problem with this look is the ill-fitting bodice. The clutch and shoes look OK.

    • quiltrx

IN, you whores. (Just because I’m feeling spicy and wanted to say that.) I love the fabrics!
And from looking at the model, and looking at hers, I’m pretty sure somebody pressed the seam allowance of Hailee’s skirt the wrong way!

    • Tippi123

IN! Love the shoes, like the dress, not in love with the make-up.

    • Aaminah Khan

No. Her eye makeup is giving me a sad. I hate that neckline. Her hair looks ratty. OUT.

    • Sarah Jean Smith-George

    • oohsparkley!

First impression from the first picture was a YES! There are quibbles to be sure. Going with the first impression – IN.

    • Mariah J

IN I seriously love her style

    • Khaleesi1031

The stars borrow strongly from a Matisse motif. View his “Icarus” series.

    • Crystal

      No, she wins damnit.

    • Contralto

      IN! She looks adorable.

    • demidaemon

I don’t particularly like the blue fabric after the knee seam, but I can’t deny that she is WERQing it here. And that is half the battle. IN!
