Vampire and werewolf hanging out in the dark? That is all I see here.

    • Frank_821

I find the photoshopping too obvious-especially the background

    • Tatiana Luján

I love the way the sheer tights look with the clothes and the facial expressions of the female model.

    • Kiltdntiltd

I’m a bit confused by this campaign. Is she his model? Is she hiring him? Yeah its all sexy and stuff, but it doesn’t quite work for me. And I find that I can count her ribs in that rear shot in the gown, distracting.

      • Domo_Konnichiwa

It’s only a B-grade porno when the story isn’t very clear. The nice clothes do not make up for the crappy storyline!

        • Little_Olive

Yeah, his dead face in the picture where they are both lying down is really throwing me off. I mean I know it is the *correct* face, but since this is a fashion campaign I cannot decide whether she just did him or she just killed him to complete her fall wardrobe with a coat made of his skin.

      • Meg0GayGuys6

I’m confused too, but maybe because my head’s in the gutter…. All I’m seeing is scenes from Unfaithful. Hide the snowglobes, guy!

        • Little_Olive

Totally saw Unfaithful too. (They even used the body of he guy after he’s been shot by Richard Gere.)

        • NOLA_gal

Nah, it’s Madonna’s Express Yourself video.

      • tereliz

        Getting a porno-Pygmalion vibe myself.

      • kimmeister

The rib-showing gown is rather sexy though.

      • kmk05

No, she must be the incredibly rich socialite who just bought the entire building this loft is set in, and he’s the sexy artist who works there. She comes to demand favours (since she only bought the building to get closer to him) or she evicts him. This leads to picture 4 and his dead eyes as he finishes the deed before she gets dressed, threatens him with a repeat in a week and walks out with her dead animal on her shoulders to ward off the chill.

        …wasn’t this a movie?

        • Kiltdntiltd

          Nope, but it should be.

      • Darren Nesbitt

But have we really ever saw a real story unfold from ad campaigns?

    • OrigamiRose

I miss the Rosemary McGrotha campaigns of the late ’80s. I wallpapered my bedroom with those ads (and still have the old-school B&L sunglasses she wore in them.)

      • makeityourself

        And still no woman president.

    • Latin Buddy

      Who sits like that?!

      • Kiltdntiltd

        Sharon Stone.

    • Diego!

Twilight flashback… AND if you’re going to show off your collection, please lesser the Photoshop on the background, because it’s overshadowing the clothes and these are not standing out.

      • alyce1213

Are you sure it’s photoshopped? It probably is, I can’t tell on my computer screen, but there are so many Brooklyn lofts that have that view.

        • Diego!

Just check the grey lines surrounding the bodies of the models… that’s just not light only! I agree with the lofts decorations but these pictures aren’t saying anything to me.

          • alyce1213

Aha! I was looking for lines around the windows. I agree, these pictures don’t do it for me either.

        • tereliz

The figures and props do look pretty composited onto the background to me.

      • Little_Olive

Gawd, please don’t tell me Twilight may already be used as flashback material. I’m old.

    • Kate Andrews

      Ooh, bootblack!

    • Laura Renee

Really love the third-to-last and last.

    • alyce1213

Strange soft-core scenario, and by strange I mean I don’t think it’s very clear.
He looks dead in the 4th picture (I thought it was taking an interesting turn), but then there’s more posing that doesn’t seem to say anything other than she leaves. This is not good storytelling. The clothing is beautiful, but the campaign misses.

      • leahpapa

Yep. If my partner’s post-coital look were the one on his face in Shot 4, I wouldn’t take it as a compliment.

    • Miss WKS

Does anyone have a suggestion as to why the collection photos never show up for me? No problem in any other category. Just collections. Please advise.

      • formerlyAnon

If you run software to block ads, it usually blocks the photos that are part of ad campaigns.

        • Tess Danesi

Yup. I had that issue and another brilliant commenter solved it for me. I turn adblock plus off for the ad campaign pics and right back on after I’ve left the page.

        • Miss WKS

          Thanks so much.

    • MilaXX

      Hump Day?

    • hughman

      Fifty Shades of Greige.

    • annabelle archer

      Inspired by A Perfect Murder?

    • Clueless_Jock

      It’s all so… brown.

    • fauxprah

what exactly are they smoking ? ……….the cold shoulder returns!

      • kimmeister

I confess I’ve always liked the cold shoulder look.

    • Ginny Ellsworth

Looking at the last picture, does a body bend that way?

    • Danielle

All that clingy fabric would stick to every nook and cranny I have.

    • Nonmercisansfacon

Underworld with Kate Beckinsale and a young more muscled Michael Sheen!

    • formerlyAnon

I don’t get a story line from these, which kills 85% of the sexy. (What can I say? Visuals run a distant second to narrative for me.) The only clothes I can see well enough to judge are long clingy gowns that have no place in my life, though the one with the fur collar is beautifully dramatic.

    • amanda siegelson

      one word: overwrought

    • Jacquelyn

Maybe it’s just my personal aesthetic but man that is a dull color palate.

      • conniemd

That was my thought. Made all the dresses look so the same, particularly against the dark background to boot.

    • Jacqueline Wessel

Seems to me there have been quite a few dark ad campaigns lately. Maybe when they’re finished here that maid will come over and clean up. Now I have to go splash some water on my face.

    • DTLAFamilies

      This is so dumb.

    • nicewilliams

A young russian spy from the year 2030 falls for a shirtless immigrant sculptor living in the present day West Elm Catalog. She woos him by awkwardly spreading her legs and only PRETENDING to sit on his work table.

    • decormaven

Not inspired by the storyline or the fashion. Big ol’ fail in my book.

    • KikiAvocado

peek-a boo shoulders ….really? they are back?

    • SouthernGirlRena

So what exactly are they selling?

      • formerlyAnon

        Mood lighting?

    • boweryboy

Shoulder cut outs will never not look tacky.

    • Little_Olive

Ah, yes, remember the days when you went shopping for a sculpture of yourself, realized you’d gone out without a purse and decided to pay him with a nice shag before realizing he wasn’t really that talented?

    • jjtxgrrl

      They look bored….as am I.

    • Judih1

      Snooze. Boring. Not appealing

    • Ass Kicking Adviser

Saw that last pic in Vogue and thought ‘grand dame.’ Sorry, it just skews old for me despite the young model.

    • Sarah Caponigro

Cheesy. I do love the shot of her back in the grey draped dress.

    • GorgeousThings

That last picture sold me. I don’t care for the rest, but I saw that one and fell in love. Of course, I am a Grand Dame.
