  • I want that bag! So very badly! She looks amazing.

  • LadyCelia

Why are these women all so afraid of belts?

    • mshesterp

The belt is what makes the look! After all her many horror shows of outfits, I’m really digging this one her…WITH THE BELT.

  • Diego!

Tough I appreciate her effort it’s an OUT to me. Her hair is awful and doesn’t go with this dress and her make up makes her eyes look like an android. I love her clutch and shoes. The dress is fine, but she should have kept that amazing belt!

  • marlie

Best she’s looked in a LONG time. Love this!

Also… is she going to be on “Girls,” or is that a typo?

    • Typo. Fixed. Thanks : )

      • Jennica Brocious

I think you two secretly want her on girls 🙂

  • demidaemon

Boob napkins for a neckline. So awesome. *rolls eyes*

  • It’s a little too Julia Roberts wins an Oscar.

    • charlotte

      You win!

    • Rand Ortega

  • AC Simons

Jeepers, those shoes are awful. They don’t go with the sleekness of the dress at all, and from the angle of the pictures, they make her look stumpy. Oh well, at least they’re not hooves.

    • kimmeister

The thing that is driving me batty is that they’re not the same as each other!!!

      • SugarSnap108

Thank you! I thought I was cray-cray for seeing that. WHY don’t her shoes match?

      • barbarienne

Yes! They make it look as if she has two left feet. Or two right feet. Whichever. Just not two opposite feet. It’s wigging me out.

  • TLJezebel

Are pointy-ass pumps making a comeback? My feet just recovered from that dark time.

    • marlie

I LOVE them! I’m less a fan of platforms and bear trap shoes.

    • sagecreek

I never could wear them, and I’m a gal who suffers for shoes.

  • alyce1213

I’m fascinated by the shoes, which are not mirror images of each other, but make sense graphically as a pair, side by side. I also like that they’re slingbacks. I know there’ll be much ado about the pointy toes and toe cleavage, but I love them. Which is not to say they work with this particular dress — they don’t.
I prefer the model’s version of the dress, with less white, just an insert. It’s ok, nothing special.
    She looks quite nice overall.

    • Ginny Ellsworth

I love the shoes too. But then again, I have anodized aluminum ice cream bowls that look just like them.

  • kirkyo

Is it the pointy shoes that aren’t right?

    • BrooklynBomber

I don’t think any of it’s right. Ugly dress (that might nevertheless look good on someone with a vampier look). Totally wrong hairstyle for ugly dress. Bizarre purse that doesn’t go with ugly dress (but might go with something else). Tragic shoes. Fish scale earrings. Absolutely nauseating nail polish.

  • oatmealpie

The pointy neckline and toes make her look like a Bond villain.

Do not mess with Sarah Snatch. She is well connected, and she will hurt you.

  • Jessica Freeman

Those shoes are all sorts of “honey, no”.

  • Jaeda Laurez

I like it. Which is rare, because I usually don’t like anything she wears. But I like how the shoe picks up the neckline of the dress. The clutch is a bit much, but it’s not bad.

  • Jeremiah Capacillo

    I just adore the accessorizing.

  • Bebe

Seems like I’ve seen a lot of bright/pastel colored metallic shoes lately.

  • kimmeister

Whoa, I thought it was Lea Michele in the thumbnail.

  • Jenna Rink from 13 going on 30! (But actually though, the dress fits the part.)

    • Sarah

Ha! I just watched that! Good one.

  • gabbilevy

On the Christa B. Allen scale, this is a total winner.

Do wish she’d change her ‘do.

  • ThaliaMenninger

She looks like any one of a million assorted soap stars. And the bag looks like her back-to-school pencil and supplies case. It’s just not working for me at all.

  • mlle

I love the dress, even unbelted, and her clutch. Like the shoes, but not with this outfit, and her makeup is too office for a party. Loathe the hair.

  • amber.

oof those shoes are mighty pointy

  • rosie5215

I like the individual pieces, but I don’t think they go well together at all.

  • LauraAgain

I like how the dress is sexy and skin-baring without being slutty.

  • nannypoo

I don’t actually know who this woman is, but I always wonder why she uses her middle initial. Is there another Christa Allen that we might confuse her with? Anyway, I think she looks great, except for the shoes which don’t seem to have anything to do with the dress.

    • Krista Allen is a George Clooney Ex, and former Skinemax soft core queen. She’s done a few other things, maybe even daytime soaps, but stil….

  • SewingSiren

    THe shoes look positively medieval.

  • Sara Brams-Miller

    I want that clutch.

  • TaurusKW

I’m inclined to say that she should choose those shoes OR that clutch, but not both; they’re fighting with each other.

  • crash1212

Great look for her. Wasn’t sold on the shoes until I saw the close-up. Not crazy about the clutch, but I’m not mad at it. I really love this dress on her and she chose good hair to go with.

  • PeggyOC

That purse OR those shoes (and I’d say no to the shoes), but not together. I appreciate that she’s trying to “pop of color” her LBD, but because they match each other it ends up looking like she wore the accessories for another outfit. Also, those shoes are a crime.

  • Lilak

While her decision to lose the runway belt is OK, it’s as if she had second thoughts and then randomly chose those shoes to provide the missing metallic accent.

  • Julie Chase

I don’t love the shoes, but I like the IDEA behind them. Love the clutch. She looks pretty.

    • Getoverit

Agreed, not into the metallic shoe but love the clutch. Hate the hair.

  • Sarah

I think that there are too many pointies there. Pointy up top, pointy down low, not enough curvy.

    • Carole Scofield

YES! That’s exactly where I went with this. Those painful looking shoes were too much.

  • Qitkat

She’s pretty, but I just cannot place her in my mind as a fashionista. She remains a teenager with a mother problem to me. While I love the design on the bag, it is truly only a zippered envelope for gigantic pencils.

  • formerlyAnon

    I love the shoes.
The dress is rather maturely elegant, which I like and which I think she’s trying to tone down with the clutch. It also seems not to fit as impeccably as a dress that goes for simple elegance should.

  • MilaXX

  • Chipster

The shoes look like they were pried off a ’61 Cadillac. The clutch is really cool.

  • Amy909

no to the bangs, yes to the dress! overall one of her better red carpet looks!

  • ConnieBV

Screw the outfit. I want to be named Bo Don and go around the world ninja’ing it up, fighing crime, drinking exotic cocktails that would fell a man twice my size and sleeping my way through Eastern Europe with panache and joie de vivre.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

i’m not as big a belt fan as the rest of you, but it was needed here. The dress, bag and shoes are fantastic.

  • Colby

It looks like her dress is trying to stab her face and her shoes want to stab each other. Invigorating?

  • Lilyana_F

The dress is eye-catching, but I do think it’d be better if belted. Terrible choice of accessories for the look, although they could be quite fab if used somewhere more appropriately.

  • quiltrx

Ashy knee…it should not be. 🙂
And I agree with others…this look lives by the belt, and looks unfinished without it.

  • H2olovngrl

Someone has had a style makeover!

  • MaggieMae

Love the shoes on the model. Modern, baby, modern.
