Zachary Quinto attends the Atelier Versace Fall 2013 show in Paris.

Versace Spring 2013 Menswear Collection

Sure, the pants are a little long on him, but otherwise, this is looking pretty perfect to our eyes. Zach, this suits you so much better than the hipster Pee-Wee suits.

We’re feeling all kinds of Carrie Bradshaw “Hello, Lover” with those shoes.

I would covet those shoes if I were a man!

      • Lucía Gavello

Are those Alexander McQueen? I might even wear them if they came in women’s size! (and if I had that kind of money)

        • StellaZafella

Just look for them 2 sizes smaller than you normally look at: If you wear an 8, try a 6…IF they come that size…some makers do that now.

    • Coolekat

Nice transition from the runway look to real life.

    • flamingoNW

Very very nice. LOVE the shoes.

    • Frank Butterfield

I so LOVE those shoes! Never been a big fan of his (other than his Spock, which is amazing!), but he does turn out nicely here!

    • KateShouldBeWorking

Did he have work done? Why is he facially hotter these past few months? Not that I’m complaining.

      • Rand Ortega

He’s probably had a chance to get some decent rest after the “Star Trek” promotional pole dance.

    • Eric Stott

There’s some “Rockabilly Evangelist” going on here – but in a GOOD way!

        PRAISE QUINTO! *fans self*

    • LaSylphide

That color is gorgeous on him.

    • Qitkat

Part of Style. com’s review described this collection as “a Roman orgy staged in a Miami discotheque.” This obviously is one of the tamer looks, (gorgeous color and fabric), and is very attractive on Zachary here, even as I don’t feel the attraction of him. I am also admitting that I love the runway look, though I cringe at myself over the satin shirt.

      • conniemd

You like the turquoise shirt and tie with a light blue suit? I hated that.I like Zach’s look, but wouldn’t wear a black tie with a blue suit.

        • alyce1213

Black – where? His tie is grey.

    • Rand Ortega

Delicious. Heat to toe. Full stop. (Tiny quibble: Agree w/ TLo– hem’s a skosh too long)

      • StellaZafella

I love a suit in an “flowing” fabric like this on a thin-ish man…on Q, it drapes and gives drama to his body/stance without feminizing him…makes me want to reach over and caress…AHEM.

        • kmk05

I was actually wondering about his thinness, because he definitely deflated from Star Trek 2! He looks totally scrumptious here. People might quibble with the shininess, but he is wearing the whole thing so well. It falls down the planes of his body perfectly.

        • formerlyAnon

EXACTLY. Skinny men in soft loose clothing. My kryptonite.

    • HomeOfficeGirl

Great suit – love the look.
But I gotta say the off kilter camera angles today are making me go cross-eyed trying to see these posts…

      • majorbedhead

I kind of like them. They’re making people look completely different, but it’s interesting.

      • siriuslover

The angles remind me of photo spreads for magazines, where the photographer mimics this kind of craziness through the images. Seems like photographers on the carpets are now mimicking the photographers who mimic them…

    • sekushinonyanko

This is extra fly. This whole look is doing a lot, but I like it. I like all of it.

    • thedevilyouknow

Yes, please. Yet again I wonder why that man never smiles in photos because it just lights up his face. Could this be the light at the end of his shrunken hipster suit tunnel? Coveting the shoes.

    • TheAmericaness

    • Ashleigh

      I’m sorry but I really don’t like this…the gold button…the shoes…the shiny-ness…blegh.

      • largishbearishAtlish

Thank you. It looks like a pair of silk boxer shorts gone totally wrong. All it needs is a fluttery scarf to take it to costume land. Much too shiny and…sheer. The jacket looks a tad short. Horrible camera angles.

        • formerlyAnon

I am not generally moved in *that way* by him but I am suddenly enchanted by the mental juxtaposition of Quintero & silk boxer shorts. You, sir (?) have much to answer for.

    • unbornfawn

      Shave Quinto.

      • StellaZafella

For Quinto this is shaved…it grows a shadow within the hour.

        • little_miss_strange

          FOREAL. Poor guy.

    • Annarosa

Zachary I love you. You can do whatever, you can wear whatever, you’ll always look gorgeous to me.

      Those eyebrows.

    • formerlyAnon

NICE shoes. & that’s perhaps the best dressed I remember him. The hair is an improvement but not quite there. Still hating this neither clean-shaven nor bearded thing. Gotta go yell at the kids on my lawn, now.

      • RebeccaKW

This hair reminds me of Victor Frankenstein in the old b&w movie with Boris Karloff.

        • MoHub

Colin Clive was a damn good-looking guy, even if he was a terrible actor.

          • RebeccaKW

            I second that.

        • formerlyAnon

Hahaha! Yes! And it works as a way to convey that hint of heading towards a sweaty, intense, break with reality. Not really the desirable red carpet vibe.

    •!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

      omg shoes.

    • SewingSiren

Yep. Love from head to toe. Especially the crazy eye.

    • maggiemaybe

      Dang. What a cutie pie.

    • YourBaloneyDontGotNoSecondName

I would have never guessed that Hipster-Spock would be the one who could de-Josh a shiny Ver-sayce ensemble.

    • little_miss_strange

The guy in the grey suit coming up behind him in the last picture is his brother! Not as hot as ZQ but he ain’t bad.

      • GwenDiamonds

Thank you! I was wondering who the guy was with the “buns-o-steel” in that first picture. Yes, brother needs a shave, also~

    • swiss_miss

The only way this could be better were if Jonathan Groff was there as well. They seem to never really walk the red carpet together, but they are still together, aren’t they?

    • BP180

Looks great, and I also like the cutie in the glasses in the last pic.

      • little_miss_strange

That cutie in the glasses would be his brother. Got them sexy genes.

    • nannypoo

So hot, and the best eyebrows in the business. I like this on him, but I hate it on the model. I’m glad he opted not to wear the rain jacket or painter’s smock or whatever the hell the extra layer is.

    • little_miss_strange

Uh… why was my comment deleted? :/ All I said was “PERFECTION” and pointed out his brother behind him.

    • MilaXX

    • capybara_cafe

Omg those shoes. I feel faint. Quick, someone get me smelling salts and a man who would wear those!

    • appliquer

      Agreed! But he’s too skinny!

    • alyce1213

I love this suit on him, it’s gorgeous. I also adore the tie. It reminds me of one my father had from the 1940s or 50s.

    • Toto Maya

I don’t care, he needs to fix his hair. IT’S JUST WRONG.

    • PastryGoddess

I’d jump a man who wore those shoes.

    • tallgirl1204

I love love love those shoes, and would wear them in an instant. And yeah, I’m a girl. Beautiful shoes are beautiful on anyone, right?

    • Nonnah

Why didn’t he wear the Dorothy Zbornak jacket over the suit? He looks great though!

    • Joanna Schuth

Hot damn, that is one gorgeous suit.

    • jonnyf8

Good tailoring took 25 lbs off of him. I think he looks great.

    • forward_slash_PRS

I don’t find him all that attractive, but I like this, and I think it’s just because of the shoes. They are awesome! But what’s also awesome is that when I saw them, I knew there would be a bunch of love from BKs because there is so much good taste on this board.
Edited to remove my overuse of the word “really” . . .

    • Gaby

Versace is a good brand for him, I’m thinking – I can totally see him pulling off some of the more kitschy “eurotrash” looks and kitschy eurotrash is really just a hop, skip, and a jump away from hipster twee, really (I’ve seen a lot of crossover in NYC).

    • judybrowni

Still cuter as Spock, to me.

But I find him yummier in this outfit and hair than previous.

Keep up the good work, Mr. Spock.

    • Corsetmaker

Much better. He doesn’t suit the skinny ‘hipster’ suits he’s been wearing as he doesn’t look boyish enough for them. This is way better suited to him.

    • Patricia Gillett

Love you, Zachary. The suit looks fantastic. Great shoes. Now go shave.

    • mozzer0906

Zachary always has the best shoes. I imagine his shoe closet looks like Carrie’s dream closet at the end of the SATC movie (the good one).

    • Danielle L

    • Fordzo

So, what *does* get a boy excited about a shoe?

    • marlie

      Those SHOES. He looks fabulous. {le sigh}

    • Dan_In_NYC

Serious hair envy going on over here. I don’t capital L love the shoes, but he looks great.

    • Ann VerWiebe

Is the model wearing a matching jacket over his suit? Is that a thing?

    • Colin

      Best I’ve seen him

    • kalisa

Are we worried about how thin he is? We pay so much attention to a woman’s size, but I’m worried about how thin he is.

    • Louise Bryan

Best look I’ve seen for him. (Other than Spock-ness, that is…)

    • rage_on_the_page

How can NOBODY get their hem right in Hollywood?

    • librarygrrl64

Aw, bless. He always looks a bit like a deer in headlights, even in posed shots.
