Darlings, we’re in a NYC state of mind tonight!

Boom Boom Room, The Standard Hotel, New York City

Guest judge Eric Daman, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and Heidi Klum.

We’re feeling vaguely low-level optimistic about the episode since last week’s season premiere turned out to be more entertaining than we expected.

Oh dear. Tears on the runway this early. Wasn’t that the chickie who swore she was going to make everyone hate her? You’re kinda losing your street cred there, girl.

So how is your week going? We got married. Like ten minutes ago. Yes, really.

CONGRATS! Couldn’t happen to a nicer couple. You need a virtual Gift Registry. We could send all things plaid and fabulous!

      • Imasewsure

Yes we all need to create a Gift pool with thousands and thousands of dollars in it so that TLo can buy one absurdly expensive overcoat and then “fight” over it! Congratulations!!

      • GenieinTX

Is there someone awesome at pintrest or tumblr or something where we could create a virtual registry and just post pictures of all the fabulous gifts we would buy them?

        • Coralie Legister

          This!

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

      AMAZING! Seriously, Champagne toast!

    • DeidreRobbers

CONGRATULATIONS!! Such an amazing couple only deserves the best. Yes…. and I also, am waiting for the TLo Registry. Cheers!

    • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

      Whhuuuuuuttttt????? CONGRATULATIONS!

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

      Omgomgomgomg!!!!!!!
      Congratulations!

So who wants to bet unicorn boy tries to get away with hand sewing his garment?

Side note: this is sadly going to be my last lounge for some time, as my work responsibilities have shifted, and I won’t be able to dally over my iPhone.

So set up a round of the Good Bubbly to toast our hosts!

      • BarniClaw

        I’ll miss you!

      • Rand Ortega

You’re such a delight, Kiltdntiltd! You’ll be missed. Take care!

      • Sarah

Toasts to our hosts and to you, who will be missed by many!

      • Call me Bee

Oh Kiltd! We will miss you terribly! Thanks for the bubbly over the years, and let me raise a glass to my fave SF retail kilt-wearer. I’ll look for you when we visit your fair city later this year. Hopefully your schedule with change again, and we’ll be able to drink together once more.

        • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Hell, when you visit, we can do it real time!

      • NDC_IPCentral

We’ll miss you on TH nights, but in this uneasy economy, I’m glad you’re employed, good sir. We’ll look for you at other times in TLo World.

      • Izzy214

I have been lurking for years and have never commented but I have to join all of you and raise a glass to my favorite gay uncles on their nuptials. This was so understated, we need details. Where did you tie the knot?

Also, Kiltdntiltd I so enjoy your comments, will miss your comments in the lounge.

        • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

          I’m really quite flattered. Thanks.

        • UsedtobeEP

Welcome! And Cheers to your toast. Hope you’re still drinking since I am late.

      • http://www.GiftedCollector.com/ The Gifted Collector

This is the worst news since Scotty left these parts. I do hope you’ll be back soon.

        • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

That is very high praise indeed. I remember Scotty and his wisdom with great fondness. I will be around in comments during the days, I just won’t be able to “lounge”.

          • http://www.GiftedCollector.com/ The Gifted Collector

Yes, Scotty leaving this site was a big loss, but he was right to go.

I’m relieved you’re just giving up the lounge for now. I hope your new responsibilities bring increased $$ and prestige.

            • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

A lovely thought, but nope. Lol

            • Munchkn

I join you in your relief that Kiltdntiltd is just going to be missing from the Lounge and not leaving TLO altogether. I’m on a forum where a some frequent posters bolted earlier this year and it still hasn’t recovered completely.

        • Beardslee

I know! Who is going to explain materials and construction to us, and be witty too??? Say it ain’t so!

      • Anathema_Device

I hate it when real life gets in the way of the fun. :-(

      • tinyredlocks

Oh, no! You’ll be missed :-(

      • KayEmWhy

        Will miss your sharp wit.

      • UsedtobeEP

Aww, poo. Denied of the kilt. I miss the lounge half the time due to two small ones who like my company, so I never show up til it’s over anyway. Commenting in the denoument is just as fun, anyway.

      • annrr

miss u already. I usually drink champagne for PR nights b/c I am all about bubbles, so will drink extra for you and T and L. Best wishes with the new job responsibilities.

      • Joanne Abrams

I’m hoping unicorn man is gone by the end of the evening! Your input will be missed!

      • angryparsnip

Congratulation ! bring on the Champagne.

Kiltdntiltd, I so enjoyed reading your comment ! take care.

        cheers, parsnip

      • Jackie4g

I’ll miss you. Good luck with your new responsibiities.

      • mmebam

        Cheers, friend! We’ll be here.

      • formerlyAnon

Damn, boy. You’ll be missed. Though speaking as someone who completely missed PR and TLounge this evening that’s a little rich.

I mean, who else will say with the same authority that guest judge Daman’s camo jacket is an ABOMINATION UNTO THE LORD? I mean, many have no doubt said that this evening in posts I haven’t read. But not with your authority.

Catch you in the day(s) after rehashes, I hope.

        • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Okay, let me just put this out for you then. That Atrocious Camo Monstrosity of a jacket, paired with his overly bronzered face, too much jewelry and inane input, places him in rarified company as one of the most useless guest judges ever in PR history.

          • formerlyAnon

Aaahhhhhh. It rolls so smoothly off your keyboard!

      • http://marshmallowjane.com/ marshmallowjane

I hope you return soon, Kiltdntiltd.

      • marlie

I’ll miss seeing you around here on Thursday nights!

      • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

Ah, the wheel of fortune–one minute, so happy to read TLo’s news; the next, so sad to read yours. I will miss your insightful comments and wonderfully, wickedly skewed sense of humor. I’m raising the bubbly to you AND our hosts. xo

        • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Ah M’dear, tis only the lounge I must forsake. Though weirdly, my phone seems to be stuck o the first post today, so I don’t know if I will convene with y’all about PR.

    • StelledelMare

CONGRATULATIONS! Here’s hoping for many more happy years for you two.

    • Kristie Cochran

Wow! Congrats to you both!!! Now we need to see pics of the rings.

      • kimmeister

Ditto on wanting to see the rings! I’m sure they are fabulous but not too matchy-matchy.

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Also want to see your OUTFITS!!!

        • StellaZafella

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something Blue Suede…

I want a post of the wedding pictures…we can BK the GU’s and show them what they’ve taught us!

        • lexilexi

Me too! (And look at their twitter message – is that called a tweet?)

    • EEKstl

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!!! TLo – I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for you!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! May you have decades upon decades of marital bliss, joy, happiness and all the good things. I couldn’t be more thrilled for you both.

    • Sarah

Yay! CONGRATS! And here I was, scrolling down to say that I like the bar, because it matches my recently purchased ring mount, a rose gold and diamond affair into which my love will be placing my beloved departed mother’s engagement diamond. So, soon, against all the expectations of the family for their little black sheep, I will be an engaged woman, and despite the dire warnings of my married friends, wedded bliss will be mine. AND Tom and Lorenzo!! Best of wishes to you both!!

      • MilaXX

        congrats to you as well!

        • Sarah

Thanks. In no way do I wish to steal the Uncles’ thunder, but the bar is very rosy-goldy.

          • Winter_White

Your ring sounds beautiful — and even better, meaningful: your mother’s diamond will now be part of your wedded bliss. What a lovely thought.

            • Sarah

Thank you. Yes, it was deeply important to me to have it, and my fellow groomed his beard, covered his copious tattoos with long sleeves, braided his hair, removed the nose ring, and nervously accompanied me on the two hour drive to my retired-admiral dad’s house to ask for it man-to-man. I couldn’t love him more for it.

            • Anathema_Device

That’s pretty adorable. Congrats to you.

            • tinyredlocks

Awww! That’s so sweet! Congrats to you too!

            • formerlyAnon

You’ve got a keeper there. Which I am sure you know.

          • Call me Bee

Hearty congrats to you, too. Don’t let those friends scare you. Marriage is a wonderful, frustrating, joyous, very worthwhile institution. For everyone, black sheep included.

            • Sarah

Ha, if my parents’ 44 years of mostly-happiness made it into that diamond, I’m sure we’ll be okay. And, 12 years of working up to it can’t have hurt either…

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

This is lovely news! Much joy, m’dear.

        • Sarah

Thanks, Kiltd! It’s been a loooong time coming. I am positively goofy with glee. And mom is not at all upset with me that I needed more bling in my setting than her simple band, I’m sure. It ain’t 1966 anymore, and a lady has to have some sparkle in this day and age :)

          • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

            Damned right, Gurl!!!!

      • UsedtobeEP

It’s a big night in the Lounge! Good for you!

    • LiLo, no not that one

      Congrats you two!!!

    • Samuel Joesph Donovan

      AHHHH!!! AWWWW!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

    • MilaXX

Congrats on jumping the broom! Champagne’s on me!

As for tough gal, like Kate, the one who boast the most about being mean, often do the least.

      • Winter_White

Hi, MilaXX — how are you and your new sewing machine getting on?

        • MilaXX

I ended up not getting it. The guy canceled the sale and refunded my money. I’m thinking I may get my grandmother’s old machine fixed.

          • Winter_White

Aww, sorry that fell through. But I remember several people saying that the older machine was probably of better quality anyway…hope you do get it fixed, and end up making fabulous things for yourself!

            • MilaXX

Thanks! Gonna give it a try.

            • quiltrx

Ooh, tinkering on vintage machines is my latest passion. Grandma sewing machines are the best! (I have my Granny’s 50s pink Atlas, which I restored and hubby refinished the cabinet…I have several other old-school machines too, because I’m greedy.)

            • MilaXX

Yes, I’m thinking the cabinet would look pretty cool once refurnished and maybe repainted.

    • Winter_White

How wonderful! Wish we could see a photo…maybe even a little video of that special moment when you sit down with your cats and break the good news. :) All best wishes.

      • Denise Plank

I second the vote for cat pics.

        • Sarah

I third it. Cat pics = happy time. Cat pics with nattily dressed married men = AWESOME.

          • Denise Plank

I wouldn’t say no to pictures of cats with single men, though.

            • Sarah

Ah, but TLo’s are surely the most sartorially intelligent of cats! Think of all the conversations regarding the proper pants-break they’ve overheard alone!

      • http://marshmallowjane.com/ marshmallowjane

There’s a nice photo of the two of them celebrating on their Facebook page from Tuesday, FYI.

        • Winter_White

Thanks for letting me know, marshmallowjane. I used my husbands FB account to see it — very sweet! (By the way, Disqus was 14 hours late in letting me know that you’d posted this…how strange…)

    • Rand Ortega

WHAT??? OMG! MAZEL, you guys! This is so wonderful! Where are you registered?

    • Celandine1

Wishing you all the best! So what fabulous exotic local will you be jetting off to for a honeymoon?

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Seriously, Uncles, we all wanna know where you guys are registered!

      • tb

(Excuse me-may I sit here? Thanks!)
Me too, me too, me too! Congratulations guys!

Sorry your job is getting in the way of my lounge enjoyment howsomever, here is a nugget you might find useful. You’re participating in the Lounge because it “enhances your performance on the job”. That phrase plus coming in early and moving everything in the (shared) office west 2″ got me an entire office all to myself by the end of a year. Subtle yet effective…BWA ha ha ha.

Raising a glass to celebrate TLo and as a farewell to you for awhile.

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

Congrats! Many happy returns! I bet you both looked fabulous.
As for me, I have been hyperventilating because of the bar exam and my brain’s resistance to have any more information crammed into it. Drama. Tears. I’m pretty sure if my brain were a separate person it could sue me.

      • NDC_IPCentral

A week from now it’ll all be over (at least the first one), and you’ll know what to expect for January. Keep on studying and memorizing, Gaby. Only four full days to go, and that probably will really hype your frazzled nerves…!

        • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

Haha thanks for remembering! BKs, cross your kittens for me – this unborn faun is becoming a Bitter Kitten, Esq., knock on wood!

          • UsedtobeEP

Oh, good, you can sue people for us. Let’s see, whom shall we start with…

            • Call me Bee

How about the producers of this show that decided we wanted less sewing and more drama?

          • formerlyAnon

You’ve got it. (It’s failing to study seriously enough that dooms people, not studying so much that their brains need a break.)

      • EveEve

You can do it! Just remember that as soon as it is over, you should unscrew one ear and tilt your head over so all that gunk can pour back out of your brain. You truly won’t need it, (trust me on that) and there are more important things to put in there…like fashion opinions!

    • wontons

Best wishes on the marriage, TLo!

What a gorgeous room. I need a crisp drink–perhaps a Pimm’s cup. Grad school is harder than I expected, particularly given that it’s a studio-type degree. I can write poetry ’til the cows come home (usually with better word use than that), but buckling down to read is hard–partly because it feels weirdly decadent (“you should be cleaning the toilet!”) and partly because thee poems I’m reading are so rich I get “full” very quickly.

Looking forward to some innovative designs tonight. I think there are some skillful designers in the bunch, and I’m hoping they’ll make art instead of drama despite the producers.

      • Sarah

They are to be inspired by 30 million dollars worth of precious gems. That seems like pretty good creative fuel to me! I hope you’re right.

      • Winter_White

Poems “…so rich I get “full” very quickly.” I know that feeling exactly, but have never heard anyone else put it that way!! Good luck in grad school.

        • Sarah

My best friend is a famous poet. She sometimes sends me her work, and I can’t read it all in a sitting, so full does my heart become from the words she weaves together. I am in complete awe of her ability to take the life she lives – some of which I understand because I’m close to her, and some of which I never would have known – and make it into these “rich” and fulfilling tapestries.

          • wontons

I’ve never understood people who can just consume art with abandon. When I’m at a music festival, I need to take breaks and sit in silence.

(I don’t know what the fashion equivalent of this is. Maybe designers have to stare at photos of naturist camps to clear their palates.)

            • Sarah

I know – I can’t STAND being rushed through a museum. I must take my sweet time. Thus I don’t go to popular exhibits – even if they’re deemed too awesome to miss. Crowds and being buffeted by them do not a conducive environment create.

            • Qitkat

I am ALWAYS the last one to leave if I’m with a group. And the last to leave a workshop too.

            • travelingcat

I am loving this entire thread. My kind of people. Music, poetry, and art takes me a good while to drink in. I love it, but it can be frustrating to those around me. This is why traveling on my own is such a joy.

            • formerlyAnon

Yes. I finally learned a few years ago that the best way to do a multi-day music festival is ALONE. Listen to what you want as you want. Bag out to let it all digest when you want. Stray to something that catches your ear as you are supposed to be walking past to catch something that seemed “must-see” when you scanned the schedule. No coordinating, meeting-up or polite “well do you want to stay here or go on?”

[I am gonna die alone. The evidence is mounting . . .]

            • travelingcat

You are speaking my language. Not knowing what is going to catch your ear or eye and being free to fully explore it when it shows up is the best part. My family think I am nuts, but they tend to stay at home with each other, so what do they know? :) Thankfully, I am blessed with a few fantastic friends who understand, and who trade off cat-sitting with me for said travels.

Btw, I may well die alone right along with you. I feel bad about that. (Written in sarcasm font.)

            • http://marshmallowjane.com/ marshmallowjane

Years–and more years–ago I went to the Filmore with a lfriend. We were a perfect match. We’d find a good place to sit (festival seating on the floor) and she’d leave me and go meet guys. I was close enough to see the guitar players’ fingers move, but I closed my eyes and just listened much of the time I wasn’t interested in hooking up or anything. My girlfriend would pop over occasionally to check in; otherwise I barely saw her until the end of the night when she’d appear with her pockets full of pot and other goodies that she’d share with me at some point. Things have changed so much. Usually, it’s better to stay home and watch and listen to music from home these days. I’ve also had the experience of sitting in a ticketed seat to enjoy music while people behind me blabbed during most of the show.

            • marlie

I never realized how much I would like traveling alone until I took a spur-of-the-moment solo trip to London a few years back. I *LOVED* it. I didn’t have to worry about what anyone else wanted to do, how long they were taking, etc.

I’ve also figured out that there are some people who I will not travel with. My sister, for example, hates museums and old, historic places, so I’d *never* go on that kind of vacation with her.

            • marlie

I’m the same way. For really popular exhibits like that, if I want to go, I pick an “off” time. It might mean that I take a half day off from work and go at 10am on a Tuesday, but sometimes it’s worth it.

            • Sarah

Thank you! And yes, I should amend, I wouldn’t truly miss a perfectly wonderful exhibit for anything. I do, however, try to outwit the masses. I never seem to be right, though. The masses also show up when I do.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

      Kittens, let’s raise our glasses….

      Tom and Lorenzo,

You two are an inspiration. You’ve allowed a world of strangers a little glimpse into your lives. We feel as if we know your cats, have sat in on your morning meetings and felt genuinely proud of you and for you as you’ve attained achievements many writers/bloggers only aspire to. By being truly partners and truly yourselves we’ve all gained the world’s most wickedly discerning Gay Uncles. We wish you all the happiness together that you deserve and more.

      To Tom & Lorenzo!

      • Sarah

        Hear, hear!

      • Rebecca Jay

Cheers and cheers and cheers! Best wishes and much love always to two very deserving gentlemen.

          merci

      • StellaZafella

I’m buried right now at the office but I logged in just to say “Congratulations!”, guys and raise a toast with Kiltdntiltd and annabelle’s (and all the BK’s) glasses! Salud!

      • Rand Ortega

Well said, Toast Mistress AA! L’chaim, T & Lo! Many more years of love & laughter! No 1 is more deserving!

      • rh33

The biggest CHEERS to T & Lo!! I’m as happy as if Project Runway was actually the show we wanted it to be these days ;)

      • travelingcat

Beautifully stated. Dear Tom and Lorenzo, wishing you all the love, joy, and fun your hearts can hold and then some in your continued life together. Congratulations!!!

      • formerlyAnon

        Huzzah!

      • Peeve

That was really lovely! Thanks for saying this much better than I ever could.

Late to the party, but continuing the celebration. The best to you both, kind sirs.

      CONGRATS! Let’s drink.

    • Denise Plank

Mazel Tov! I wish you could see my face right now. I feel all wobbly with excitement for you.

    • kimbalala

Congrats, uncles! I was in Philly today….where’d ya get hitched?

    • Call me Bee

Wha…..??!?! That’s excellent! Warm congratulations to you both, our Dear Uncles. Did either of you wear white?

    • Tatiana Luján

      ¡Congratulations!

    • Anniebet

Well, that was just about the most low key marriage announcement ever. I’m so very happy for you both, and beyond thrilled that “the times they are a-changin’” for our gay and lesbian friends. A big fat HAPPY DANCE for TLo!

    • conniemd

Congrats on the marriage. Toasts and a free round of drinks around the bar in your honor!

    • NDC_IPCentral

Best wishes, gentlemen! So happy for you both! That’s the best news of the day, bar none.

    • Trisha26

      Congratulations to you both!

    • NDC_IPCentral

…. Um, and if you’re newly wed (though hardly blushing kids – and that’s said with admiration from someone a good deal older than you both)… oughtn’t you to be whoopin’ it up rather than evaluating a buncha crap-couture on the Telebish tonight? I’d sure give you a big pass!

    • Michelle Wilson

My grandmother always told me never to congratulate someone on marriage – something about inferring that someone is unworthy and therefore needs to be congratulated on actually getting someone to marry them. I dunno, but it’s screwed me up for life and I never know what to say to new Brides and Grooms and it’s awkward. So I’ll just awkwardly send you my best wishes for a long and healthy life together with all the benefits a wedded couple should have.

      • Winter_White

The old-fashioned way was to congratulate the groom for winning the hand of his lovely lady, and to effusively express to the bride your wishes for their eternal happiness. :) You did fine!

        • Call me Bee

I was just about to post the same thing.

      • NDC_IPCentral

I am old school enough that I never say “congratulations” to the bride, and, frankly, it seems a bit gauche to say it to the groom, too, since it somehow smacks of winning a contest. I think best wishes is the way to go, and that’s what I say (and said here elsewhere). Yes, yes, BKs, I’m old fashioned, and I’m proud of it.

        • Sarah

I see your point, but mayhap the contest won is that of finding the one for you in a sea of those who would lead you down the wrong path, or merely a less happy one. And having that person find you, too, and both of you beating the opposition. (Coming from a lady who is getting ready to marry a person who I met when we were both otherwise involved, over a decade ago.)

    • Miss wks

      Shotgun wedding?

      • Call me Bee

        Ahahahahaha…. *sigh*

    • M. H. Leader

Congratulations, TLo!!!!! Many, Many years of happiness and bitchery to you both!

    • GenieinTX

Congratulations!! I’m so happy for you guys. A cool website, a book, and promotional picture where you both look fabulous, and now a wedding! Woohoo for you!

    • M. H. Leader

well…so much for the looks being “blind judged” when the designer collapses into tears on the runway. Like, duh. If they REALLY wanted blind judging, they’d have the designers watch someplace out of sight/sound of the judges and not come out until after the votes were in. And, of course, shuffle the models every week.

    • M. H. Leader

After one hellacious week, I also want to say that hearing that TLo finally was able to tie the knot is the best news I can imagine! Champagne cocktails all around!!!!

    • Chipster

I’ve got this big grin on my face……so happy for you both!

    • LaSylphide

Congratulations! Here’s to many years of wedded bliss and bitchiness.

CONGRATS! So happy for both of you!!!

    • altalinda

      Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

    • SewingSiren

I read the blame post twice wondering what the hell everyone was commenting on. Finally sees.
Congratulations. I would have worn something nicer if I had known it was your wedding day. Hopes that a honeymoon is planned too. Youse deserve all the happiness in the world.

    • Carole Scofield

That’s WONDERFUL!! Congratulations and every good wish. I waited til later in life (49, actually) to get married, and the last 6 years have been the best. Marriage is fantastic, and it’s time everyone got to have one! It is different….it really is.

    • Robin Murray

    • Candigirl1968

      Whaaaaaa?!? Congrats you guys!!!!!

    • alyce1213

Mazel Tov! Explains why you’re in a NYC state of mind. Did you do City Hall or a private affair?

      CONDRAGULATIONS!!!!

    • another_laura

Congratulations on the wedding! Champagne for everybody!

    • Stubenville

      Congratulations.

TLo, if you were married in Montgomery County, you should see a lawyer about the legality of the license.

(Not sure if the news is making it national, but a suburban Philly county started issuing same sex couples marriage licenses, despite a statewide ban. It’s sure to quickly end up in the courts.)

    • BuffaloBarbara

      Congrats! Pictures, please…

    • lulukittie

Congratulations, Tom and Lorenzo, and many happy returns!

    • Beth C

Best Wishes from a long time lurker.

So WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? I missed last week and only turned on the previous episode a few minutes ago.

      • http://viridianpostcard.blogspot.com/ viridian61

We missed you too. I only remember unicorn boy (nature boy).

      • Call me Bee

Ahhhh you really don’t want to know. :)

      • formerlyAnon

Really? You KNOW it doesn’t really matter, this early in the season. This ain’t your first rodeo.

    • Michael_Jones

OMG. Congratulations! I’m very happy for the two of you.

    • Maria Butner

      Congrats!!!

Congrats, gentlemen! Very happy for you. May you be as happy as my husband and I are, which is wishing you very great happiness indeed.

    • Stubenville

So is it too early for a team challenge?

    • Munchkn

Congrats and Best Wishes to Tom and Lorenzo on their wedding today! May their marriage be filled with love, joy and happiness always.

    • VioletFem

Wow! Congratulations on finally getting married!

    • LongTall_Sally

    • Inspector_Gidget

Congrats! Champagne on me! The bar and the occasion are more exciting than the show any old day.

      Diamonds! How appropriate tonight!

    • sunsetwalker

      Congrats to the Fabulous Duo!!

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Oh my dear god in heavan! Hooray! Congratulations! Angels dance~

    • OrigamiRose

Did I hear a designer whining about “superficial”?

      • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

        Timothy, of course.

        • OrigamiRose

Ugh. Hate level already set to MAX.

        • Swiftlytiltingplanet

          Not sustainable…so sad…

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

            Fairly sure hate is sustainable…

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I would also like to warn the Kittens that I am already drunk…retirement party with an open bar!

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Trash to Treasure? Fuck you Timothy.

      • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

I feel so bad for his model. I bet his button was stuck to the bottom of the bag on purpose out of charity to the models.

    • Qitkat

Awesome news. Congratulations Lorenzo and Tom! As another BK said recently, it’s fun to put L first sometimes.
From the lowest key marriage announcement ever to burning up the internet tomorrow. It will be interesting to see who picks this up.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

SIGH!!!!!!!!! Oh Sustainable Unicorn, the fucking trash bin?!?!?

      • OrigamiRose

I don’t know how many weeks of him I will be able to endure. He already makes me want to throw a heel at the television.

        • marlie

Seems as though everyone in the Twitterverse couldn’t stand him last night, either.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Sustainable Unicorn is a sustainable asshole. Especially as he monitors others spending.

        • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

          sustainable asshole. snort!

        • Munchkn

I’m an old hippie and I find him completely irritating and annoying.

        • ChristinaRi

          UNsustainable to me.

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I love, love the $4000 for the whole thing idea.

      • Cheryl

With a “suggested” budget for the challenge.

        • Swiftlytiltingplanet

True. But if someone has an extra fabulous idea for a particular “suggested” budget, then they have room. On the other hand, at some point everyone will have $20 left…you know the cards will be refilled.

          • Qitkat

Oh, don’t we just know that someone will run out of money, someone on the judges’ favorite list, and the producers will pull an Anya. Or the remaining designers will have to bake cookies and sell lemonade to earn their fabric.

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

At least now they can’t “lose” their money. (Though I bet producers steal someone’s debit card towards the end.)

    • Miss_Magpie

      Oh, Boy! Congratulations, Gentlemen!

    • housefulofboys

Best wishes for a long, healthy, happy life together filled with joy!

    • cheesebomb

      Hooray! Congratulations!!!

    • Caitlin

I love how the deaf guy just took out his hearing aid. He gets a standing O from me

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Any sane person would were it an option…and he seems remarkably sane.

    • ChristinaRi

I’m a little behind, but have to say Heidi’s boobies are looking good tonight.

    • BuffaloBarbara

If Timothy has the wherewithal to make this idea work, he actually has some nice little pieces of fabric to work with. Fingers crossed, because I want to see something interesting and creative. On the other hand, that little self-righteous speech about how he’s not impressed was pretty off-putting. I don’t care all that much about money, but the jewelry is beautiful. It would be beautiful if it weren’t worth multiple millions of dollars. You should be able to appreciate the beauty of the things on their own, even if there’s a part of the brain whispering about the less fabulous aspects of the diamonds themselves.

I really like the budget management with the suggested budgets. I think this will be a good innovation. I’m curious about what happens to the unspent money.

    • Peeve

Yaaahhhh! Y’all do things really low-key, don’t you? ‘Oh, and by the way, kids–Mommy & Daddy just got married…’. And then you came back here to do the TLounge and Twitter??? I hope you’re at least drinking champagne. Another round on me! Many congratulations to you both!

      • UsedtobeEP

I actually love that T and Lo did that. We can’t celebrate with them exactly, but it’s close. T and LO, if you are reading this, I hope you are taking a sip of something celebratory every time you read about your news on here. Well, maybe every other time. Every time would be a bit much.

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Is anyone getting the “simple but elegant” idea that is necessary to set of fab jewels?

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

Anyone thing Dawn (I think her name is) looks like the little girl who played Rue in Hunger Games?

    • Kathy Train

I’ve been lurking on this blog since the beginning and tonight is my first post. Congratulations to Tom and Lorenzo. May your life together be long and happy!

    • guest2visits

Thrilled by the jewels….I just love the art and the sparkly…I know it’s wrong but I just can’t help it. Not that I own this kind of bling, no way. But if you’re looking for some real jewelry-porn little Kittens….try the diamond finder at James Allen (not an endorsement) it lets you define what you want and then gives you a 3D swirl of the actual stones. F*king hypnotic. There. I shared.

      • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

you had me at 3D swirl

    • minervathena

OMG CONGRATS! So sneaky, leaving it in as the last sentence. :-D PICTURES!

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Braedon with the “curtain” fabric….every time I’m at JoAnn’s I love the home decor fabric. Sometimes the only difference is washability. If you’re doing runway stuff, and the the weight is right, who cares if it’s washable?

      • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

I am officially in love with Bradon. It’s early, so anything could happen, of course. But right now, he seems so sane, not to mention adorable. And I love that he used curtain fabric.

    • BuffaloBarbara

I wish I could turn my ears off during the drama.

    • marlie

      Congratulations!! XOXOXO

      • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

        marlie! cheers!
        xo

        • marlie

          Right back atcha!

      • AthenaJ

I’ll be the wacky aunt who gets sloshed and tries to make out with one of the groomsmen :P

        • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I’ll be the drunk aunt dancing on a table. (There’s nothing better than drunk aunts!)

    • ChristinaRi

I love the Ugandan woman’s hair. Hope she’s not in trouble. Plus she seems normal.

    • CassieLee22

CONGRATS!!! You guys are hilarious and all us bitter kittens just wish you all of the best!!

    • guest2visits

Whoa – I missed that last line! Congratulations guys, all the best.

    • smokyvalleygirl

      Best wishes to you both.

    • UsedtobeEP

I just got here and WOW A WEDDING THATS BIG NEWS!!! What does the couple who has everything want as a wedding gift?

    • Stubenville

      Unicorn boy is clueless.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

@Stubenville:disqus You are really, really generous.

    • Leslie

Congratulations! I’m so over Timothy/unicorn boy already==please go home!

    • Margaret Hardin

      TIMOTHY WHAT ARE YOU DOING

    • ChristinaRi

And am I understanding T and Lo got married today and are tweeting PR anyway? We don’t deserve it.

Kisses and best wishes to our gracious hosts!

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Tim just popped Unicorn Boy’s balloon!

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

“I feel like a kicked puppy.” Dude, that was the softest critique ever.

    • housefulofboys

“Should I just go home now?” Yes. Yes, timothy, that would be an excellent idea.

      • OrigamiRose

Ha, yes, I shouted the same :))

      • Stubenville

Before Nina Garcia publicly humiliates you? Uh-huh.

    • guest2visits

Whoa – missed the last line. Congratulation guys, and all the best!

    • ChristinaRi

Tim do not help out Sustainable Boy. Let him implode.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I believe you mean “Sustainable Asshole”

    • ChristinaRi

To answer SB — Yes, you should go home right now. YES.

    • sunsetwalker

umm excuse me you need to learn how to use a sewing machine, point blank

      • Cheryl

Did Dom switch the thread and not change it back? I’m not sure what the protocol is there.

        • sunsetwalker

true i guess that is part of the etiquette but its the fact that she does not know how to change it back is troubling and frankly time wasting

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Threading a sewing machine is the most basic thing there is. Sane people would be able to change it in 2 minutes.

            • Stubenville

Umm, I wouldn’t bet that all of these contestants are sane…

            • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Granted. But they should have the same basic skills that random people have….wait. I forgot Anya.
              Fuck me.

            • Sweetbetty

All you have to do is clip the thread that’s on the machine, tie your new thread on to it, and pull the end of the thread that’s closest to the needle until the new thread is all the way through. Clip it at the knot and thread the needle. 30 seconds max.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I am not a “designer”. I just sew. I suspect I could figure out how to thread whatever it is she is using…it doesn’t look like it’s a serger.

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Who doesn’t know how to thread a sewing machine? WTF?

      • BuffaloBarbara

Seriously — my entire experience with sewing machines was a two hour class at a local stitch place. The first thing we did was thread the machine.

      • housefulofboys

Really, if you’re going to be on a show that requires sewing wouldn’t you at least check out a youtube video or something before you start filming?

      • MarshaMarz

me but I AM NO T ON THE SHOW

    • ChristinaRi

Getting nervous and upset with the machine is just trouble, trouble, trouble.

    • BuffaloBarbara

Drat, looks like the creative approach to materials is not turning into a good dress, unicorn boy. Using interesting materials must be matched by actual design.

I want Kahindo to do well. I like her and she seems low on the drama.

      • OrigamiRose

Agreed, I get an Uli vibe about her – wants to create fashion, not drama.

      • Munchkn

The judges are hating her dress. I feel so bad for her right now. At least Tim backed her up, but that unfortunately made her look worse in their eyes.

        • BuffaloBarbara

I could see putting in the middle — it wasn’t inspired — but it didn’t belong in the bottom and definitely didn’t deserve the elimination.

    • alyce1213

Amish? They also have a special name for Sustainable Asshole?

    • Stubenville

Do we have nicknames yet? I nominate “Freddy Mercury” for Sandro.

      • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

        Freddy Mercurovich ;)

      • Cheryl

You missed last week. He’s already been christened “Pussy Galore.”

      • alyce1213

You’re right on the money, but T-Lo named him “Freddy Mercuryovich” last week.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

        Hmm..don’t we LIKE Freddy Mercury?

        • quiltrx

That’s why I dubbed him “Russian Freddie Mercury” (before even seeing TLo’s Freddie Mercuryovich)…he’s the cheap, made-elsewhere knock-off of something awesome.

You know, like American remakes of Japanese horror films. :)

      • Call me Bee

The nickname I personally have for him is Russian Asshole. How’s that?

        • jorinde

If he even IS Russian. His name is Italian, as are his looks, and the way he uses his hands when he speaks, also this kind of high voice seems very Italian (my Italian roommate agrees). The accent is more Russian though, but could also be Italian. Ok, maybe his family moved to Russia, however it’s unlikely that they did it more than 20 years ago.

          • Call me Bee

Oh he’s Russian for sure. He talked about it a lot during the Run-up to the Runway pre-show.

    • sunsetwalker

eww that blue velvet is yuck!!!

      • Cheryl

        And where are the diamonds?

    • Stubenville

There’s a whole lot of crap about to be hurled down that runway that no amount of sparkle can salvage.

    • Sharon Newland

Oh Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you both.

    • Stubenville

      Freddy Mercury is very angry…

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I refuse to call him Freddy Mercury. Refuse. Freddy rocked. This guy is a petulant child giving petulant children a bad name.

        • BuffaloBarbara

I think we need to stick with last week’s spontaneous suggestion of Pussy Galore.

          • Fordzo

Nooooooo…I call one of my best friends Pussy and she would NEVER behave like he does.

        • Stubenville

True, but he looks like Freddy from certain angles.

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Possibly. Maybe. No. He is a whiney twit. No.

    • OrigamiRose

“Who knows how steamer works”?? Are steamers really that complex to use?

      • cheesebomb

That crew member was far more patient with him that I would have been.

        • MilaXX

Seriously that was a fame whore move. He knows good and well crew stays off camera behind the scene.

          • ddfrog

I thought it was a spoiled rich kid move. His first instinct is to summon the help. And then pout like a baby when he didn’t get his way.

      • Stubenville

Fill with water, plug in, flip switch. Not rocket science.

        • OrigamiRose

That was my thought but I didn’t want to jump to conclusions :))

    • annrr

From the bottom of my heart, I am so happy for you both. What was ur wedding song? That is always my first question to married couples. I’ll drink some extra champagne for you tonight while I watch my Milwaukee designers represent.
      xo Ann

      • Call me Bee

Or watch while the Milwaukee designers embarrass us greatly….

    • 1964edithgrove

You got married?! That’s fabulous! So many many congratulations! Much love and all best to both of you for all the years to come! Liz

    • carolynmo

Tom and Lorenzo, congratulations! I’m so happy for you and proud of you! I’m grinning like a maniac.

    • sunsetwalker

um Freddie wannabe its a competition no one has to help you

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I continue with my crusade. He is not Freddy Mercury. Not. Freddy was cool. We should all be him. Not this whiney asshole.

        • Stubenville

          Faux Freddy perhaps?

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

            No. Not even. At all.

        • Saturnine

Yes yes yes. I’m with you all the way–j’adore Freddie Mercury.

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

            Thank you.

        • sunsetwalker

Ok than he goes back to “Pornstache” in my book, – OITNB

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

            Perfect!

          • susan6

              susan6 FTW! This is awesome.

    • CheriCPat

      Alexander = TinTin.

      • Stubenville

Is that the one with the unnatural orange hair?

        • CheriCPat

Yes. Go to the website for “The Adventures of TinTin” and there he is!

    • martha

Wonder what Unicorn Boy thinks about all that bottled water…

    • Stubenville

      Dom’s pretty but basic.

      • berkeleygirl

        I’m thinking modern Scarlett O’Hara.

    • Stubenville

      Justin – nice LBD

      • OrigamiRose

        Very, well done.

    • MilaXX

So far now train wrecks. Are they giving them more time?

    • Stubenville

Kahindo – smart to do a dress in a strong print

    • Stubenville

      Alexandra – classic

    • Stubenville

      Miranda – Casual Corner reject.

    • OrigamiRose

So far, so good. I hope this means Timothy’s will be the train wreck.

      • berkeleygirl

        Miranda was pretty gawd-awful.

        • OrigamiRose

It didn’t make my eyeballs fall out with the gleeful lust I was reserving for the Sustainability Unicorn and his jewelry box :))

          • berkeleygirl

Here’s was so low-key, it oddly distracted from the diamonds. At least Unicorn used velvet!

    • Stubenville

Alexander – interesting – too lingere?

    • Stubenville

      Kate – messy draping

      • Cheryl

        Slutty Cinderella.

        • Stubenville

With her dress caught up in her panties!

    • Stubenville

      Unicorn Boy – hot mess

    • MilaXX

The bust on the blue dress is horrible.

      • ChristinaRi

When the designer was complimenting herself, I was yelling at the TV, “It doesn’t fit!”

      • alyce1213

Worst fit ever, and not all that difficult.

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I hate that I kind of like Sustainable Asshole’s

      • alyce1213

I’m amazed that he managed to do anything with it considering it started as a boob blocker top. He really pulled it out of his sustainable ass.

        • BuffaloBarbara

He really did. I’m pleased with it. He annoys me greatly, but I wanted to see some serious creative work from scraps, and he delivered.

    • Stubenville

      Karen -department store

    • Stubenville

      Timothy – prom

    • sunsetwalker

I am so not here for this new midriff trend

    • MilaXX

UGH! Sandro designs ho’ wear. He is the very definition of taste issues.

      • Targettaste

So of course, Heidi likes it.

      • M. H. Leader

Isn’t that the truth. It’s skin tight–so tight it’s hard for the model to walk. It’s underwear-free because of those side panels. It’s over-worked with way too much outlining and crap. It’s an ugly color. It’s taste-free. The only thing that was even moderately acceptable was the interesting bodice. Everything below the neckline was TASTELESS. He really does design for high-fashion street-walkers. He can’t even say he makes “pretty” or “flattering” dresses. They’re just tasteless.

        • CPK1

it totally looks like Kardashian Klothing.

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Thank god. English boy saved me.

    • Stubenville

Faux Freddy – painted on faux Erte.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

        PornStache. His name is PornStache.

        • Stubenville

Pornstache FTW! (The name, not the designer)

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I was just looking below to see who to credit with Pornstache…just know it wasn’t me. But ’tis perfetct.

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

@sunsetwalker:disqus gets the “Pornstache” credit! Yay, Sunsetwalker!

    • ChristinaRi

      foaming vagina!!!

    • nosniveling

wow that was weird, never saw them cut out a runway walk like that

      • Margaret Hardin

        drama drama!

      • Cheryl

        No sniveling on the runway!

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Oh…Tim…go comfort Helen. I believe the appropriate response would be “The fuck, Heidi?”

      • wontons

My spouse, channeling Heidi: “Tim, you have those, what do you call them, feelings…go comfort the cryer.”

        • Celandine1

Damn your spouse just made me pee my pants laughing.

      • algaechick

My teen daughter and I decided Heidi was very much like when I ask my daughter a question that’s not really a question, like “do you want to take the dog outside?” when what I mean is “you do want to take the dog outside”. It seemed more obnoxious when Heidi did it.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Kat Von Wanna B needs to get her shit together. I believe she was given the “I got this” quote early on. Predictable much?

    • ChristinaRi

Oh, honey. This is Project Runway. Let the boys cry.

    • bringbackbeatles

Guys, congratulations! I am so thrilled and excited for you! You two are truly beautiful people that become even more beautiful together. I once sent you an email about how I have an illness causing me chronic pain everyday, and that reading your site everyday always puts a smile on my face from both your sense of humor and the beautiful or crazy or completely out there fashion I get to see. I saved the reply you sent me because I was touched that you took time out of your day to write me a sincere reply. I mention that because I am so sincerely happy to see you guys married and happy. You truly are inspiring Tom and Lorenzo!

    • ChristinaRi

I love that! “Yeah, I’m fine.” lol

    • Bonnie B

      Woot woot! Congratulations!!!!!

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

really bitch? you’re going to go around the room giving critique and instruction, then not finish AND then pull that?

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Of course she is! Because she’s that special and dramatic.

    • Stubenville

      Helen – meh.

      • berkeleygirl

Yeah, but despite her melt-down, we’ve seen much worse on the runway.

        • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Oh, please. That melt-down was for the cameras.

    • quiltrx

Congratulations Uncles! Air kisses all around, and big hugs. We want to see pictures, because I’m sure you both looked stunning!

    • Stubenville

Brandon may win it again this week.

      ETA – nope.

      • BobStPaul

I thought he really had the strongest look of all. I was shocked he wasn’t even in the top three.

    • guest2visits

How is it the runway is better and so is the lighting but I STILL CAN’T SEE THE DESIGNS… cameraman still playing peekaboo with the angles and shots.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Dom = Uli meets Gone with the Wind

      • berkeleygirl

Perfect! I was already getting the Scarlett vibe.

        • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

early on, right? total antibellum sheetsset.

    • ChristinaRi

      Blond girl is harsh.

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

I don’t know if I like Dom’s – she looks a little bit like she’s wrapped in a bedsheet. Very expensive sheets, but a bed sheet…

      • berkeleygirl

I think the best detail is the way it moved.

        • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

Yeah, but it’s things like that that let Anya win her season.

    • ChristinaRi

I hate this green and white dress. They love it? The waist line is kind of grotesque.

      • Cheryl

The bust is really busted, too.

      • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

I think there were better dresses on the runway than the top ones they picked.

      • Stubenville

It’s really “Hamptons garden cocktail party” isn’t it.

        • Swiftlytiltingplanet

How funny! I was at a wedding reception at a Connecticut house…that was all that one thinks a Connecticut house should be…and you are spot on.

      • guest2visits

I thought she was really ambitious – but it didn’t work out in my opinion. Very surprised they liked it.

    • OrigamiRose

Ohhhh Heidi. “Is that part of your cause?” Burn!

    • Kathy Train

Nina’s not buying the unicorn BS.

    • Dan

      Congratulations, guys!

Oh, how this challenge cries out for Laura Bennett’s expert eye. I’m getting a tad nostalgic.

      • Call me Bee

Oh yeahh–that would have been awesome!

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Even as a so-not-a-Laura-Bennett fan, she would have been a great judge for this.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

kate’s dress is Drapey. very blurred lines.
      eta—bwahahaha

      • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

        What? Why?

      • OrigamiRose

        Rapey? Or drapey?

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

        Wait. What?

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

Whose does Sandro’s remind me of? I feel like I’ve seen that skirt on PR before. I like the retro top though.

      • OrigamiRose

When it came down the runway, it reminded me of the dresses Michael Knight sent down during his final show.

      • wontons

It looked nicely made, but I still don’t see how it goes with the jewelry–there was too much going on with the lace and the geometrics, and he had that really delicate old-timey necklace. And I thought the fabric color was wrong for his model’s skin tone.

    • OrigamiRose

Ugh, of course Heidi would like PornStache’s hoochie dress.

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

i can’t believe they liked stache-man’s. to me it looked cheap and tacky and way too tight. no wonder heidi liked it.

    • ChristinaRi

      It really works this week!!!

      It’s upside down world.

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

Also, I was really annoyed they didn’t call out Army girl for making a shittier version of last week’s dress when she was actually supposed to be using her own picked out fabric this time.

      • berkeleygirl

I still can’t believe she’s not up there right now.

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

hers was hid-eeee-us! it was an insult to the jewels.

    • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

THANK YOU FOR THE WELL WISHES, KITTENS!

Details: We wanted something so small and private, it was essentially an elopement. Season 2 PR contestant and T Lo bestie Emmett McCarthy was our Best Man and we had a tiny ceremony in the garden behind his store, where we all met seven years ago. Emmett was ordered not to do anything elaborate for us, which he promptly ignored, turning his little urban garden into an outdoor chapel for us. Bitter Kitten Number One (i.e., the very first person to come up to us and ask, “Are you guys Tom and Lorenzo?”) a.k.a., our friend, Dave officiated for us. It was tiny, private, and personally meaningful, which is exactly how we wanted it.

Thank you again for sharing in this day with us, even if it was vicariously. You guys were the first people we told after we told our families. That should tell you all how much you mean to us.

      • ChristinaRi

        Lovely!!

A special day for special people. I’m sure it was truly emotional. I’m welling up a little bit which is what seeing two wonderful people formalize their love always does. Many kisses and hugs to you.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

If you want to share a picture or two (or 20), I feel safe in saying that we’d be beyond delighted to see them. :-)

        All the best!

      • SewingSiren

        Mwah. Love you two too.

      • AthenaJ

Congrats, you two rock and deserve every happiness in the world :)

P.S. Now I’m curious what you both wore!

hope you guys will be fucking like bunnies prontito! will there be any sort of honeymoon? we strung our wedding out over a weekend. first a church wedding and reception, then we stayed in a local hotel and the next day had a picnic with friends in a beautiful park, then we left on our honeymoon at a quiet romantic old hotel out in the country. wonderful memories, and i’m sure you will have yours when you’re married 36 years. may all your dreams come true.

      • makeityourself

Thank you for the details. When one spends time with people such as yourselves every M-F for years on end, it’s a special friendship. Of course, it’s rather one-sided, but that’s ok. I feel that I know you rather well.

What a fantastic week this has been.

        Best wishes to you both.

      • rainwood1

Congratulations and best wishes, T Lo. It sounds lovely and special and perfect. And needless to say, you both snagged a great guy.

      • Qitkat

It sounds so very beautiful and personal and special. I’m genuinely happy for both of you.
May I share a favorite poetic piece with you?

        APACHE MARRIAGE BLESSING

Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be the shelter for each other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be the warmth for the other. Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before. Go now to your dwelling place to enter into the days of your life together. And may your days be good and long upon the earth.

Treat yourselves and each other with respect, and remind yourselves often of what brought you together. Give the highest priority to the tenderness, gentleness and kindness that your connection deserves. When frustration, difficulty and fear assail your relationship – as they threaten all relationships at one time or another – remember to focus on what is right between you, not only the part which seems wrong. In this way, you can ride out the storms when clouds hide the face of the sun in your lives – remembering that even if you lose sight of it for a moment, the sun is still there. And if each of you takes responsibility for the quality of your life together, it will be marked by abundance and delight.

        All the best, Qitkat

        • sweetestsith

That is really beautiful, thank you for sharing!

      • Introspective

love you guys. so happy for you!

enjoy wedded bliss. and thanks for sharing such intimate moments with this wonderful community of snarky strangers youve managed to unite in the name of fashion.

        xo,
        introspective (aka bitter kitten #15683)

      • EveEve

Adding my voice to the chorus, to wish you a lifetime of wedded bliss! Best wishes to you both. Your wedding was small but your virtual reception is a huge multinational affair!

      • formerlyAnon

All the best. You know I (we) return the Internet-mediated affection.

Good job keeping it small, the way you wanted it to be.

How perfect!! Many, many years of happiness!

      • muzan-e

      • Malve Lyborg

        Herzlichen Glückwunsch!!

      • A Shiny O’Connor

Congratulations! Is New York Fashion Week the honeymoon?

    • ChristinaRi

Yes. “Trashy” nails it. Über trashy.

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

They’re going to send home the black woman who made a perfectly medium level dress, aren’t they. >:(

      • OrigamiRose

That’s the bad gut feeling I have. She’s not dramatic enough, therefore, she’s a worse designer than the Sustainable Unicorn.

        • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

I thought there were worse dresses that walked the runway that weren’t even picked out – a lot of poor-fitting busts and general plainness.

          • OrigamiRose

I agree – and I can’t believe Bradon was only safe, not in the top.

          • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

totally! for plainness, they should have sent home mirandaa and karen.

        • MilaXX

Sustainable Unicorn and Pornstache will make it at least until midway. I heard a rumor that Tim uses his save. If it’s Kahindo, I hope he does.

          • OrigamiRose

Keeping my fingers crossed for Kahindo. Pornstache has to make it long enough to punch the camera.

      • wontons

I really wanted to see where she was going, aesthetically. I’m sorry to see her go. And I thought her dress looked reasonably well made and well proportioned. God knows there were worse (more boring) things on the runway, MIRANDA.

        • Introspective

indeed I kept thinking its crazy how the judges missed how miranda made an outfit with the exact same silhouette as she did last week, only with a worse fabric choice and worse construction… ah the fun of crack pipes and producer manipulation.

cause i feel like unicorn and his cousin miranda (theyve gotta be related) need to stay on together. kinda like coo montrese and alyssa edwards. the hometown beef needs to be kept alive for good tv.

      • lilyvonschtupp

and who actually knows how to thread a damn sewing machine!

      • Introspective

yep, pretty much that’s what happened. so annoyed. crack pipes are being handed out by the producers early this season i see.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

“go big or go home.” Done.

    • MilaXX

Poor designers. One berated for not doing enough, one berated for trying too much.

    • BobStPaul

WTF? They LIKED Sandro’s hideous concoction?

      • alyce1213

        Unbelievable.

    • Stubenville

      Crocodile tears.

    • Cheryl

Pleeezeee! Pleeeezeee! I reeeeeally reeeeeally want this!!!

      • martha

        we all want something…

    • berkeleygirl

Oh, Heidi, the last time it was “just the outfit” was when Austin was sent home.

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I kind of hate Helen. Even more that Pornstache defended her.

      • berkeleygirl

        Nobody likes a whiner…

      • Michelle Wilson

I don’t mind him defending her, but I hate her too. At the end of the day it’s Timothy that needs to go home.

    • lilyvonschtupp

Mr. and Mr. TLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRIGHTENED UP MY SHITTY WEEK! CONGRATS!!!!

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

it was good to hear some good news for a change. my shitty week started when my daughter, driving my jaguar with my permission, got hit on the freeway and spun around three times before plunging into a ditch. she is okay, but the car is totaled (sniff-my baby jaguar). then when she went to get her stuff out of the car, the police were there waiting to arrest her on a warrant (re: an unrelated matter.). and while she was in jail she got evicted. poor child is a mess. sorry for the bummer, but i just had to tell someone. i’m having a sad.

        • Qitkat

Even when they’ve screwed up majorly, we moms feel really bad for our kids. I’ve been there too. Got to believe some tough love and straight talk will help. And sympathy from fellow BK’s. Best of luck to you both.

        • Stubenville

Good grief. I hope your daughter gets things sorted out quickly; that’s a lot to happen all at once. The only silver lining is that she wasn’t badly hurt in the accident.

        • formerlyAnon

Oh, how generally stressful. Thank goodness, at least, she escaped the one thing that might not have been sort-outable, serious injury.

Watching one’s kids struggle is a special kind of pain, and wearying like nothing else on earth. Hugs.

        • CozyCat

It sounds like a lot of her mistakes caught up with her at the same time. The bright side is that this could be a major “teachable moment” (it’s always worth looking for a bright side….) After a series of events like that, she might finally be open to the message that: “the way I’m leading my life just isn’t working.”

Good luck. It’s hard to love someone and see them go down such a hard road.

          • guest2visits

Well said. Obviously Daughter has someone who cares too; things can only get better.

    • lilyvonschtupp

Oh, and…I WANT KAHINDO’S HAIR SO BAD!!!!!! Not her dress, though.

      • ChristinaRi

I know!! She does the most interesting things with it. Plus, I liked her “boring” dress.

        • BuffaloBarbara

I did, too! And I didn’t find Tattoo’s particularly interesting, either, construction issues aside. I don’t understand this call. (And it looks from the playrunway poll like we’re not the only ones.)

          • lilyvonschtupp

I don’t understand giving Katie the win over Dom. That thing was wrinkly and sloppy, not Marie Antoinette.

      • MilaXX

        I love her color.

    • OrigamiRose

PornStache is telling someone else to shut up? Hello kettle, pot calling on line one.

      • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

Point taken, but PornStache was right. That was one of a couple of nice moments he had, the other one being when he stood up for Helen (even if she didn’t deserve it). Plus, don’t we all want Timothy to shut up? ;-)

    • guest2visits

Poor model, she gets lipstick this week but cups like old coffee filters.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

      HOW can they like Kates????

      • crystal76

        Really!

      • berkeleygirl

My take: She has a definite idea and knows how to construct it.

      • Michelle Wilson

Agreed. I’m so over Kate. I don’t understand their choices tonight for the top finishers.

        • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

          NOPE

      • Introspective

no fucking clue. it was a shitty mess to my eyes. a well constructed, but nevertheless shitty mess.

    • MilaXX

On a shallow note, I LOVE Kahindo’s locs.

    • ChristinaRi

Please stop talking about the green and white dress. It’s so perfectly Anya.

      • MilaXX

No it’s not. No way could Anya drape like that.

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

anya never had any interesting details and couldn’t sew. plus she was pretentious as hell. dom has good construction skills and is humble but confident.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

      CALLING JLO

      • AthenaJ

Exactly what I thought when I saw Sandro’s dress

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

really. sandro should just move in with her, she’s about due for a new boy toy, no? but i’m sure his mouth would get him thrown out on day one. maybe a little duck tape over the mouth?

    • berkeleygirl

Did Tim just seal Kahindo’s fate?

      • Stubenville

        He certainly didn’t help.

      • housefulofboys

        I fear you are correct.

    • berkeleygirl

Unicorn believes bras are unnatural – let ‘em flop!

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

        Bras are not sustainable.

        • ChristinaRi

          breasts also going unsustained.

          • Swiftlytiltingplanet

They’re natural. They should bounce painfully.

    • alyce1213

The guy in the camo jacket doesn’t like Kahindo’s print?

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

I feel like Heidi says these things like we dont know how she regularly dresses.

    • Michelle Wilson

As much as I think Dom’s number looks kinda bed-sheety, it looks like it’s coming down between she and Kate and I just have such a strong distaste for Kate’s presence on this show this season. All-stars? Sure, knock yourself out, but she is so advantaged over the other designers this season that I’m inclined to hate everything she does.

    • http://viridianpostcard.blogspot.com/ viridian61

Helen- the harder they come, the harder they fall

    • Stubenville

PornStache is kept for the drama.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

What? They’d manipulate us like that?

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

i’d love to see jlo stuffed into stache-man’s look.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

      seriously?

      • Michelle Wilson

        seriously. meh.

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Aside: I hate, hate, hate the Medifast ads with the “after” talking to the “before”

    • crystal76

      Kate’s the winner? WTF!

      • ChristinaRi

        in it to win it.

      • MilaXX

I liked Dom’s much more than Kate’s. Zoe Saldana would look great in Dom’s dress

    • laylagalise

I don’t know why but Alexandria reminds me of Debrie Bardeaux– but bitchier.

    • OrigamiRose

      *projectiles*

      • Stubenville

This is why we can’t have nice things.

        • OrigamiRose

But we can have racerback bras worn backwards, and live to sew another day.

        • UsedtobeEP

Heh heh. That is a frequent line in my house.

    • Stubenville

I can’t believe that they spared Unicorn Boy after the crap he’s sent out TWO weeks in a row.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

That would be Unsustainable Asshole to you.

        • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

You might say his output has been… unsustainable ;)

      • ChristinaRi

Plus why would they subject themselves and us to his unsustainable drivel during the judging?

    • sunsetwalker

      WTF!!!!

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

      >.o *twitch*

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

      What the fuckity fuck?

    • DeTrop

Congratulations and wishes for many happy years of love and success together.

    • Michelle Wilson

Bah. Kahindo doesn’t bring enough drama so they keep the special unicorn. Meh. Hated their choices at the top and the bottom this week.

      • alyce1213

        Upside down.

      • NDC_IPCentral

All the promos for the show now bleat “You want MORE DRAMA?!” — Well, no, mature (not necessarily as to age but mind-set) viewers want DESIGN, but that’s not prominent in B-M’s/LT’s/Weinstein’s/Klum’s calculations.

    • alyce1213

They suck. They really suck. Kahindo should have stayed on the basis of construction alone.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

      of fucking course

    • ChristinaRi

Oh, I hate them. Kahindo is so lovely. Not enough drama to stay, I guess.

      • Stubenville

        Exaaaactly.

      • cheesebomb

But she didn’t cry and she’s not sustainable!!!!!!!

    • matildarf

Yeah… wtf. what an awful decision.

    • OrigamiRose

Not just because of the similar sounding names, but this reminds me of Kuniko’s early exit on Top Chef. Totally wrong-headed.

      • Munchkn

Kuniko did manage to go far on Last Chance Kitchen though, didn’t she?

Did you catch the premiere of Top Chef: Masters last evening? The chefs got a reward of an extra hour to cook if they skydived.

        • alyce1213

Big week for skydiving. The new sous-chef component is really going to shake things up a bit.

        • MilaXX

I don’t like TC Master’s since they changed the judging and added Curtis Stone.

    • Kit Taylor

      Daaaawwwww. :)

    • Cheryl

But they saved Goth Bridal Gal this week!

      • alyce1213

Her dress was an unfinished mess. The way it was gathered in back looked like it had its own asshole.

        • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

My thoughts exactly. We’ve had dresses that pooped fabric, now we have one that looks constipated.

      • Swiftlytiltingplanet

Oh but she cried! And Tim had to comfort her!

I kind of hurt for Tim.

      • chubby ballerina

I don’t see how she could’ve interned at bridal studios and never sewn cups before. It’s pretty basic.

    • SallyJ

wishing you a life of love and happiness!

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Oh, this Kitten is tipsy. Drunk on love, y’all. G’nite!!

      • alyce1213

        Bonne nuit.

    • BuffaloBarbara

Okay, who gave them the crack this week? It was clearly the extra-special variety, because that elimination made NO sense.

      • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

None of the top picks made sense either. :/

      • OrigamiRose

“How do you use crack pipe? So everyone just going to ignore me?”

Sorry, his obnoxious voice is now stuck in my head for the balance of this evening.

        • BuffaloBarbara

They seriously need to stop paying the drama whores with camera time. These are people I would do my best to tune out in real life; I don’t like having to watch for dresses around their little staged tantrums.

          • OrigamiRose

Agreed. Interesting designers like Kahindo get sent home for not being melodramatic, or sobbing wrecks, or petulant whiners. She may not have won but I have every faith she would have sent interesting fashion down the runway as long as she was contending. Instead, we’re stuck with three people who should have, hands down, been tied for the worst garment of the week.

            • MilaXX

Her website is Modahnik (dot) com
She really does have some interesting pieces.

            • OrigamiRose

Many thanks for the link! I will check it out :)

            • BuffaloBarbara

I wish I could afford (and/or fit into) something there, just to show my support. Also, because a lot of it is cool.

              And I like the prints.

    • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I must defend unicorns as I defended Freddy Mercury. Unicorns do not deserve to be associated with the sustainable asshole guy. Do we really think he is a virgin? No, no we don’t. Do we really think he is a mythological creature? No, because we really just want to punch him. He is not Unicorn Guy. It is an insult to unicorns.

      • Michelle Wilson

        I dunno. I’m pretty convinced he’s a virgin.

        • Swiftlytiltingplanet

          um….to put it delicately….oral counts

          • Wellworn

Is oral considered remnants, sustainable, or organic?

            • Swiftlytiltingplanet

All of the above, i think. Depending on you think about it.

      • OrigamiRose

Hmmm. The Sustainable Snowflake, because of how special and unique he believes himself to be?

        • Swiftlytiltingplanet

I think we can work with that. :-)

      • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

i think he is a virgin because i can’t believe anyone would get that close to him. i just want to run in the opposite direction. i agree about the unicorns, though. we need a better meaner moniker for him.

    • sweatpantalternative

Congratulations!!!! Are you seriously spending your wedding night watching Project Runway? At least tell us you’re watching from a swanky hotel.

    • SewingSiren

I more or less agree with the win. But am in complete disagreement with the auf. I would not have even had Kahindo in the bottom, of the three the judges picked The Brown dress would have gone home. But the light blue sack that was in the middle was terrible too.

    • Wellworn

Congratulations on the wedding! Hope your night is Boom Boom fabulous, which means you better not be watching the show tonight. Mazel tov!

    • http://www.christiancrafternoon.com/ ChristianCrafternoon

      Congratulations, TLo!

    • Michelle Wilson

It’s even sadder watching it through the second time. I’m going to be in the minority here and say that I actually kinda like Sandro and his take on stripper wear. It’s no trashier than garments we see from Versace every season and speaks to where he’s from. Nicki Minaj has to get her clothes somewhere.

      • cheesebomb

Honestly, and I know it is weird to say this about a show that I watch to see the clothing in (even if the producers no longer intend it as such), I just can’t get past his attitude and the way he’s been treating other folks.

(Assuming I’m not still confused about who everyone is and we’re talking about the same person.)

    • Joanne Abrams

      Congratulations!

    • MilaXX

Speaking of weddings. Now that more states are finally coming around to legalizing same sex marriages, CW is making the first “oops we got drunk in Vegas & got married” same sex show. It’s called of course, Husbands.

    • frannyprof

A toast to the adorable couple!!!! Congratulations! *clinking two champagne glasses*

    • PhillyDeb

I think I want to cry. You guys, I feel that you and your league of Bitter Kittens are my friends. I am truly, deeply happy for you. Thanks so much for bringing us along with you, and allowing us to share in your journey! Best wishes for a long and happy life.

    • Amenaneri

Congratulations!!! So happy for you! T & Lo together all legal-like and stuff….

    • fenrulin

Coming out of the woodwork to say “Congrats!!!”

    • myristica_fragrans

congrats!! i’m so happy for you guys.

    • Judy_J

Just now checking in……y’all got married? Mazel tov! I’m so happy for you! Much happiness to you always!

    • pottymouth_princess

I saw the tweet and thought you were shittin’ us all. What else could it have been? :D Congrats and champs all around! Pity Kahindo wuzrobbed to dampen the festivities (not like y’all were watching or anything…I sure as hell wouldn’t have). :D

    • Vanderboom

Congrats! Much happiness to you both!

I feel like it’s a little early for such cracktastic judging. For the most part , don’t they at least PRETEND that they’re not judging based on potential drama?

      • pottymouth_princess

WTF was up with Nina saving that abomination Helen sent down the runway. Producer intervention much, show?

    • Jackie4g

Congratulations! All the best to you both. What good news!

    • Annie Lure

      Congrats, T.LO.

Tonight’s episode: Yup, someone who’s rather quiet and earnest and diligent is sent home over a shrieking, writhing 20-something inexperienced camera-whore (she can’t stick to her shtick). It’s too soon to send Non-sustainable-heels home; he’s unwittingly entertaining. I don’t concur with the judges on the winning design. Kate’s designs are surprisingly old-fashioned and saccharine for someone as young (I’m 10 years older than her and wouldn’t go anywhere near clothes such as the ones she designs).

    • pattie capet

Hope you guys are in the Boom Boom Room enjoying the fabulous view. Congrats and cent’anni! (although you guys might look a little fried by then!)

    • TLJezebel

You two just got engaged! Shotgun wedding? So very happy for you.

    • MandyM

Congratulations! Screw PR this week! We need TLo wedding pics!

    • http://www.pinkraygun.com/ Lisa

OK. I grew up in North Florida and have some….personal thoughts toward Belk to the point where I’m worried about Project Runway’s future if the sponsor for their accessory wall is bloody BELK. You may as well have your fashion reality show sponsored by Dillard’s. Case in point, I can buy that necklace that keeps showing up behind Tim’s head on eBay for $12.

    • poggi

Congratulations! At least one set of judges made a good decision.

    • Evelyn

This bitter kitten is un-lurking to give you a heartfelt congratulations!!

    • JenXer

      CONGRATULATIONS!!!

    • Michelle Wilson

I’m going all in early and predicting Braden for the final three. He’s got the right combination of skills to survive the culling – construction skills, improvisation and grace under pressure. Whether those will be the skills needed to actually design the best final collection or not remains to be seen, but he’ll definitely make it to the end.

    • AutumnInNY

Congratulations!! Wishing you both a lifetime of good health and happiness.

    • LAMusing

Congratulations!!!! Wishing you many years filled with much love and a just enough snark to keeps things spicy.

    • MartyBellerMask

YAY!!!! I’m glad I came to the TLounge, even a few hours late. Congrats you two. :D

    • Pennymac

The one night I’m not in the lounge, and I missed the wedding announcement! *kicks self*

    • annaplurabelle

Congratulations! One hundred years of happiness together!

    • mmebam

      Mazel tov!

    • guest2visits

The judges were nuts. Some of the best looks were sent to the safe-lounge. And alot of the designs had fit issues – mostly at the bust and upper torso. I liked Sue’s black ruched dress; it really showed her necklace off. Also – whoever did the shimmery dress with the semi-transparent matching wrap; that was a favorite.
I thought Kate’s was good but I thought the bodice on her dress was a bit off, and maybe that would have put her in 2nd or even 3rd. Still; she really understood the challenge better than half the designers did; the freaking jewelry practically TOLD what needed to be done. Elegant, Red Carpet… high style and sophistication. I would have thought this would be one of the easier challenges to interpret, and that any designer would have at least a few such dresses or ideas in their design bag. Especially for this show.

Helen should have been bounced. It was just a mess on her model. I didn’t like the print Dom chose – the print that the judges thought was youthful; I saw as too casual. I liked the idea behind Dom’s but I don’t think she quite accomplished it. The waist, the way the green trim was attached – just the volume of material in places and the fit. But they loved it.
I liked Kahindo’s material; but I was surprised she made a very nice, but casual looking day dress. She’s a much better designer and better seamstress than Helen – I would rather see what Kahindo could do than Helen the Bad Ass, any day. Sandro’s was a sophisticated and well made tramp; it was almost a cartoon Natasha. I still can’t believe he made those sheer side panels, and I still can’t believe the judges didn’t point that out as seriously tacky.
Tim was so proud of his strange dress. The salvaged chiffon looked terrible to me, and Zac was right – the presence of the necklace was almost an afterthought. I thought it was a waste of pretty blue velvet.
Also – I don’t know that it matters all that much to check out the way the designs are slapped together, when the timelines are so short.

    • formerlyAnon

I am soooo behind the curve, totally forgot about TLounge & PR tonight. SO I MISSED THE ANNOUNCEMENT.

      You sly dogs. Congratulations.
      CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • fnarf

      Congratulations, T&L!

This show, on the other hand, has taken another dive into the dumpster. Wrong winner — the best wasn’t even in the top three. Wrong loser, by a mile. Enough suckuppery and asskissery to make anyone sick. Blech.

    • kim bunchalastnames

ZOMAHGAH! congratulations and my very best wishes to you both!

    • OrigamiRose

It may be too late for an answer to this, but did anyone catch if Timothy had to pay for his “trash fabric” at Mood? It seems like an unfair advantage for one designer to dumpster dive, and consequently be able to preserve his precious budget funds for future challenges. Even if Mood charged him a cursory amount so that he wasn’t taking freebies… still seems quite unfairly advantageous for the little Sustainable Snowflake.

    • pippitypup

Well! Congratulations to the both of you.

I take it Timothy did not design your outfits?

    • pdquick

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Sorry you had to watch this episode for your honeymoon.

    • unbornfawn

      Congratulations. Go consummate the thing!

    • crash1212

I’ve seen two episodes. I have two thoughts: 1) Heidi’s hair is fabulous. 2) PR candidate interviews need – really need – to include psych evaluations.

      • formerlyAnon

I’m convinced they do psych evals and select for fragile and delusional. Because Drama is All.

    • harlowish

Checking in on the TLounge on the West Coast, so I hope it’s not too late to say CONGRATULATIONS, you two!

Mazel Tov! That’s wonderful news. Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness and health ahead.

    • Slade Thunderdragon

Congratulations T & Lo! :) Here’s to many years of happiness between you two!

That judging was more cracktastic than usual. I only liked Kate’s dress of the tree in the top, and I don’t think Kahindo deserved to go home. Helen’s was the worst, and I also hated Karen’s. Timothy’s also sucked, but his was at least more interesting that Helen’s and Karen’s, and he also makes me laugh. Helen’s badass facade is desperate and her scene on the runway last night was pitiful.

My favorite piece last night was Ken’s. It was simple, but the color was beautiful and made the jewels pop. He and either Ben or Bradon should have been in the top over Sandro (ewwwww) and Dom (her print made me think of spearmint gum… I thought it was kind of cheesy… and I didn’t much care for the trim on the hem.)..

    • Anplica Fiore

      Congrats!!

    • LadyCelia

      Oh congratulations!

    • Ceece

Congratulations on your marriage. Wishing you many, many years of happiness. But don’t get so happy you lose the edge, you know what I’m saying? Stay snarky, kids.

    • GoryDetails

Congratulations on your marriage! (The “oh, by the way” tone really tickled me; I don’t often do double-takes these days, but that got me!)

The show… was entertaining, though the dueling-meltdown bits seemed over-manipulated (manipulation? in a TV show? The horror!).

    • Adriana_Paula

      Mazel tov gentlemen!
