Stacy Keibler in Monique Lhuillier on Jimmy Fallon

Posted on July 23, 2013

Miss Stacy’s “I Will Survive” tour barrels on beautifully. We’re starting to love this gal.

Stacy Keibler makes an appearance on the “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” in New York City in a Monique Lhuillier dress to promote her new show “Supermarket Superstar.”

Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2013 Collection/Model: Vasilisa Pavlova

Fan-flippin’-tastic. What is not to love here? She’s got the goods and she’s showing them off to the world without being tacky about it. She’s doing the post-breakup victory lap on a grand scale. We’re not even sure we like the dress so much, but she’s practically glowing, so it doesn’t matter.

I don’t love the dress either, but it fits her well and the simply hair/makeup are a nice counterpoint to it.

    • annabelle archer

She’s like Heidi, but with a smidgen more taste.

      • alyce1213

Maybe a little more than a smidge.

        • annabelle archer

Though, I do try to grade Heidi on the underwear model curve. When one is so very used to parading in ONLY their underwear and F Me Pumps, it can skew the ability to define socially acceptable parameters.

          • themandy

Yes, but Ms. Keibler is a former pro-wrestler. I wouldn’t say they’re much known for taste, either. :)

            • Aurumgirl

That fact only serves to accentuate the irony of the comparison.

    • Gaby

I don’t really like the tattered effect on the top of the dress – a little too Halloween for me – but I j’adore those shoes (yes, I know that’s technically grammatically incorrect, but I’m quoting TLo here, I believe, so anyone else can SUCK IT).

      • 3boysful

I’m with you–the dress on the model is fug, but Miss Stacey here is workin’ it. And those shoes are the perfect counterpoint.

    • lexilexi

For some reason I find her adorable. Brava!

    • Imasewsure

I love the dress on her with the styling (and the back story). Tight shiny and slightly slutty without crossing over in to Klum territory as mentioned by an astute BK. Can’t imagine what she is promoting (aside from herself) but I think she looks great

      • alyce1213

TV show, “Supermarket Superstars” — competition show for food entrepreneurs: The next big product.

        • Imasewsure

Gawd that is lame! Glad she has a gig though because she seems fun. That being said, are we sure we should be moving so quickly to this supermarket arena when there are still untapped ideas in the storage unit and/or cupcake store reality show worlds? What a world what a world….

          • demidaemon

I will just say that it is on Lifetime. Make of that what you will.

            • Cz

Lifetime, aka the home of Dance Moms and Double Divas. This show would be an upgrade for that channel.

    • MilaXX

I think it’s more of a pole dance for her new show, but nonetheless she’s looking great while doing it.

      • sugarkane105

You’re probably right, but that’s not as fun. I want her to be all IN YOUR FACE, GEORGEY with each public appearance.

        • annabelle archer

Well, surely the timing is not a coincidence. So, really, one in the same.

        • MilaXX

I like how interview, the host feels like they have to ask how she’s doing post breakup & if they are still friends. I can help but think her contract was up and she just moved on.

          • largishbearishAtlish

the cynic in me wonders about ‘break up & new show’ timing…sigh (and ‘are you still friends?’ do they really think she would break her contract and say ‘oh, he was a total ass and lousy in bed’? not.

            • ampg

I would pay ALL THE MONEY to hear her say that.

      • Ass Kicking Adviser

The entire relationship was a poledance to get her a show.

        • MilaXX

Isn’t that the deal with all his girlfriends? He gets pretty arm candy for awards season, they get a career bump & designer clothes.

    • nannypoo

In her case I’m pretty sure there is nothing sad nor unexpected in the breakup, and she now has probably received her final payment of maybe a zillion dollars, and she’s being treated like she has achieved a lot more than she actually has, so she ought to be glowing. She seems kind of sweet, so I hope she manages to keep the momentum going. Her show sounds a little silly, but she has to start somewhere.

      • Heather

Can I get paid to be George Clooney’s girlfriend? I’m also tall, age-inappropriate, and not an actress.

    • Introspective

beautiful on her. not the most cutting edge dress but the fit is a dream. and yes, clearly letting the world know how hot she is without being vulgar. i.e. suck it clooney…

    • alyce1213

The dress is a bit tacky, but who notices? She’s glowing and beautiful and poised.
Her two years with George done good for her. She’s had as many great, memorable RC/publicity appearances as anyone I can think of. She’s beautifully turned out 99% of the time.

    • Dan_In_NYC

Def serving Heidi Klum realness. She’s going to get a hosting gig or SOMEthing out of this, and good for her!

      • MilaXX

She has it. It’s a new show called Supermarket Superstar. Google tells me it premiered last night.

    • Richard Banger

I kinda feel sorry for her that her post-breakup LOOK-AT-ME tour is to promote a Lifetime show called Supermarket Superstar.

      • MilaXX

I don’t I;m sure she;s getting paid big bucks to do so and silly games shows make money. There is an entire show about just making cupcakes that’s been on for 3 seasons now.

        • annabelle archer

Most people get some random CDs and a Tshirt to sleep in when they do the break up thing. Don’t cry for me Argentina, indeed.

      • Jessica Freeman

I wished it were Supermarket Sweep. When I heard about her show, I was hoping it was a resurrection. Alas, it is yet another competition for marketing and money.

    • largishbearishAtlish

Normally I never notice the shoes, really..I don’t- but those are waaay cool! I like the heel/2 tone/green look…fascinating.

(and thanks to T’lo for the close up, I would never have noticed other wise.
-and you forgot the “I’m hosting some obscure super market tv show too!’ dance.

    • carnush

      Her body is unbelievable.

    • Karen Belgrad

      That’s not glow, it’s spray tan ;)

    • Jessica Freeman

I don’t love the dress, but this is a woman who knows how to wear clothes.

    • Meg0GayGuys6

I think her point here wasn’t to be capital F Fashion Forward. I think, for what she wanted to accomplish, she did a great job! Many exes would love to have the chance to strut their stuff like that. Attagirl!

    • hughman

      Best. Cookie Elf. Ever.

    • LaSylphide

I especially like that she’s letting her natural prettiness show, without gobs of makeup. And even though I think a more sophisticated hairdo would be better with this dress, she has the wholesome kind of looks that can wear a ponytail without looking sloppy or careless or too dressed down. Good show.

    • filmcricket

Her figure really is fantastic. Congrats on your genes and your workout regimen. Totally dig this look, too, although it feels a bit dark for summer.

From what I hear, they are remaining friends with benefits, at least until one of them hooks up with someone else (the Widow Longoria for Intern George, supposedly). She had to know going into it that it wasn’t long-term, and she got great exposure and a lot of lovely frocks to wear. Presuming that she’s not broken-hearted (which I hope she is not) she did pretty well out of the deal.

    • Sandra Oh

Gorgeous dress. Wished I had that body. Too bad George didn’t renew her contract for another year.

    • Trisha26

Hate the dress, looks cheap and overworked (seems like one that on anyone else you would have termed it “not a sit-down interview dress”).

    • lalahartma

Has anyone asked her about the 2 year relationship contract? ;)

    • bertkeeter

I don’t think GC ever got “IT”!

    • decormaven

Work it, lady, work it. She’s one smart cookie. That’s the way to work the PR wheel.

    • mmebam

I actually wish she had kept the hem closer to that on the model.

    •!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

This is gonna sound like a weird compliment, but can I just say how much I love her ponytail, of all things? It’s such a relief from cocker spaniel hair and ridiculously long extensions. She looks fantastic, good for her.

(And lord would I be bitter if an ex looked that glowy happy post breakup, contract notwithstanding, but I never claimed to be a good person.)

    • EEKstl

      Hear hear!

    • Angela_the_Librarian

I actually watched this episode of Fallon because I wanted to see Jesse and the Rippers perform. I thought the dress looked good, but the front of her hair was perhaps puffed up a bit too high (though I don’t know if that shows as much in the still pics). She came across as fairly down-to-earth during the interview and I loved how she nerded out about TGIF.

BTW: The Jesse & The Ripper performance was cheesetastically wonderful. I loved how game John Stamos was with wearing the classic 80’s mullet and leather vest ensemble, and that Aunt Becky game him a smooch afterwards.

    • Danielle L

    • Dawn Sinclair

Although, I’m not sure he was getting it to start with. I really don’t like the dress, the fabric is awful but she seems very nice.

    • Shawn EH

That dress is mummified on the model, but damn if Stacy isn’t giving Super-MILF Heidi a run for her money in it!

    • Pennymac

      I think she looks amazeballs!

    • formerlyAnon

She’s been smart enough to take good advantage of her opportunities since her late teens. (And while retaining more dignity than a lot of women doing the talk shows to promote their latest effort.) I think she’ll continue to do so, and am interested to see her choices over the next few years.

    • PrunellaV

Spectacular. Also, I love that she’s not doing the bleached blonde thing.

    • Josefina Madariaga Suárez

She’s also throwing down the gauntlet to future Clooney’s girlfriends: “Try to top THIS, bitches!”

    • Janet B

It’s a great silhouette on her, but the actual dress isn’t pretty.
She looks happy despite the dress.

    • Vera

      Those legs! Wow.

    • marshmallowjane

Stacy did well on Dancing with the Stars; I think she appeared right before she started dating George. She has said that she is the one who moved on. She’s saying very little, but I get the idea that when they first began dating she had no desire to settle down, and now she may be ready for something different. I wonder if he’ll eventually change his mind about marriage. Warren Beatty finally settled down–although I don’t consider these two men to be of the same ilk.

We are seeing lots of lace recently (one even called macrame) and lots of big gaudy prints. I’m not sure which I dislike more. But I think the length and fit of this dress give her the right image. She has legs up to there and everywhere. She’d look slutty if her dressed were tight or too low in the front.

    • macwell

She has an athletic body, because she was athlete. She can’t help but show it when she walks. Love her.

    • Ass Kicking Adviser

I don’t like the dress. I don’t like her. She only dated him to elevate her profile and she always knew it wasn’t going anywhere and she did it as a career move. Do I sound harpie? Why are you being so nice to the woman who was dating my boyfriend?

    • ankali

I never noticed her beautiful swan-like neck before now. Nice combo of neckline and hair, lady.

    • MaggieMae

      George who?

You go, Miss Stacy. Let’s meet for lunch, drinks, and some shopping, girl.

    • Diego!

I love her! I don’t know why, but she always is so smiley and self confident with her dress choices that I can’t help but to like her very much. She looks stunning here! I love her legs! :D

    • AnniNoone

She looks better now than she did when she was with Le Cloon. She’s lovely. At some point she should do whatever it is she actually does, though, to remind us all (act? model? professional celebrity)?

    • guest2visits

Agree. She took a strange looking tatty kind of dress and gave it luster. Love the shoes too.

    • HeatherMcIlrath

Stacy, I know you’re a former wrestler, but I WILL put you in a full nelson for those shoes.

    • Rebecca Jay

I met her at a mall once, at a meet-and-greet back when she was a WWE Diva, and she was so open and kind and generous to all these little fan-girls (mine included), I became a mom-fan then and remain to this day.

I was so disappointed, and more than a little grossed out, when she hooked up with old creepy whatshisface. It took longer than expected for her to extricate herself from that ooginess, and every time I see her now I do a mental fist pump and wish her all happiness and success.

Even when she wears ugly dresses like this. Cute hair, though. Love a pony with a hair wrap and top bunch.

    • marlie

She looks great in this – way better than the model, even. And I love the shoes.

    • MannahattaMamma

Supermarket superwhatevers has gotta be a whole lotta better than wrestling for a living, right? Altho I suppose that’s sort of what she did with/for/to Mr. Clooney for the past few years, right?

    • wontons

My god, she can wear the hell out of a dress. I don’t even know who she is as aside from a Clooney ex.

    • bellafigura1

She looks great, but what does she talk about on a talk show? I’m seriously inquiring? What’s her, um, fallback position?

      • bellafigura1

Oh, sorry, I see, below, she’s got a show of some kind.

    • Stacy Feng

I love those shoes, tiny way to amp up classic black pumps!

    • H2olovngrl

She always looks so sweet! And I WISH my eyes sparkled like hers! C’mon girl, you hang on to that post-George fame! We are rooting for you!
