I do love her but no sheer panel and different hair. Well, better pony tail. Love the dress and I’m glad se didn’t pick putty shoes!

  • Lori

Is that plastic in the V-neck? If it’s illusion net, it’s weird looking even by the low standards of illusion net. Aside from that weirdness I can’t help but like this. I have a weakness for shiny silver things and for sequins.

  • When does she start her twirling routine?

    • Color Guard realness.

    • DuBey2

Oh, thank you! I needed that laugh.

    • Lucía Gavello

Ha! Although to me she looks more like a discolored piñata, a gorgeous one.

    • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

      HAH! Brilliant observation, my friend.

    • drdarke

      YES! @Kiltdntiltd sticks the landing!

  • KayEmWhy

Why the sheer panel? This does not work on any level, what she needs is a baton, a hat, and whistle with white boots. 😉

    • poggi

Good point. It really doesn’t need it. It’s not needed to keep it on or keep it decent.

  • Jessica Freeman

My niece’s weekend craft project just threw up all over her dress.

  • Karen Belgrad

Did Tonya Harding have a garage sale?

  • Why was this dress ever made?

  • MilaXX

Kinda ice skater looking but if the netting wasn’t in the cleavage it might be okay. Whoever is doing her makeup lately seems to have no idea how to play up her eyes. Also? Jewelry. An earring or a bracelet wouldn’t have hurt.

  • Nancer

    No. Just…. no.

  • Adriana

That brownish grey color seems to be the it nail color at the moment. I have no idea why. It’s still summer, people! If you aren’t going to wear any colorful clothing you could at least paint it on your nails.

  • Blair Sylvester

I love her! i like this dress maybe mostly because she is wearing it

  • Heather

I loathe visible lipliner. Very 2001.

  • Imasewsure

I guess I’m all sunshine and positivity today but I kind of love the dress on her (sans the netting… I’m happy but not blind)

  • DuBey2

Like many others, I like HER, but this is about the worst I’ve ever seen her hair and makeup. Not her look, imo.

  • JauntyJohn

The hem seems very high for that much going on up top.

  • carrie

Is this a Project Runway dress?

    • MaggieMae

There you go! I saw the thumbnail and immediately thought “PR Unconventional Materials Challenge”.

  • PastryGoddess

This is giving me shades of Bjorks swan dress. Not sure why though

    • alyce1213

      White, lumpy and ridiculous maybe?

      • demidaemon

Not quite as ludicrous, though, and a bit boring in comparison.

  • kimmeister

Paillettes that big should be used in moderation. She appears to have some on her backside, I’m sure that was a nice crunchy experience if she sat down on any hard surfaces.

  • Ms_Flyover

Perhaps I’m just insane, but the first thing this dress made me think of was Bjork’s infamous swan dress. I think it’s the illusion netting. Of course, having read the comments, now all I see is the need for knee high white patent boots.

  • conniemd

Too short for all the blue and green design stuff going on in the front. Makes it out of proportion. Put more white down to the knees and it won’t look all so bunched together.

  • kayleymaybe

I think that dress doubled her body weight.

  • bertkeeter

    Sequined technicolor puke!

  • ashtangajunkie

I almost always like her outfits when I see photos of her casually out and about, but I almost never like what she wears on the red carpet. This is no different and that sheer panel isn’t helping its case.

  • crash1212

Ugly, ill fitting, dress making her look wider than she is…which, seriously…how wide is this girl? Love the shoes – not sure they work with this horrific dress…her make-up and hair aren’t doing much for me…or her.

  • Qitkat

Well, somebody imbibed a bit too much before shopping in the discount fabric and embellishments store!

  • sagecreek

Who sold her on that eye make-up? Big mistake.

  • Anniebet

Hope she didn’t hug any babies in that dress – she might have done them a permanent injury with those pailettes. This is a definite misstep for Ms. Rachel.

  • MannahattaMamma

why the sheer panel? it’s like the double-sided tape machine went out of control or something…

  • I actually don’t mind this, save for the (non) illusion netting filling the V-neck. Why, Philip Lim, why?

  • poggi

Keep the shoes, dump everything else, and start over.

  • Pudgy Possum

I don’t like this dress; what’s it shape? Lord help me, but I can’t tell. And the makeup looks–I don’t know–amateur?

  • ankali

I like the dress (or I could, at least), but I don’t think she does. Pretty makeup, I’ve seen worse hair, but she’s not really doing anything for it, is she?

  • quiltrx

Why is the illusion even there? I don’t think it’s necessary unless there’s some weird backless thing going on.
If this were just a design painted on fabric, it wouldn’t be bad. But this is SO heavy-looking and unflattering.

  • ItsDicey

The sheer panel is painful. Ugh.

  • MartyBellerMask

    Wow, that’s… that’s… WOW.

  • altissima

Her expression in the second pic! She don’t need no TLo to tell her how wrong this dress is …she knows.

  • hellkell

Illusion netting will always equal icedancing to me.

  • IamNOToneofyourFANS

What a nightmare of a dress. This looks like my cat ate a bag of paillettes, then puked them onto a white shag rug.

  • Cindy Claussen

Looks like a synchronized swimming costume
