Giant pants on skinny boys…giving me flashbacks to middle school. No thanks, Prada.

    • demidaemon

Same. In fact, I wore those types of pants and am quite glad to be rid of them.

  • MemHey

Is “shlumpy” the word? I think so…

  • barbarienne

What are those blue shorts in row 5? Is he on his way to compete in a boxing match? In 1985?

  • TSkot

  • alyce1213

The proportion of some of the suit jackets to the loose trousers is a little off-putting, kind of mash-up. But I generally love the fabrics and the zipper jackets. And yeah, I like pleats sometimes. Maybe I’m just sick of too-short, too-tight hipster pants.

  • hughman

They all look like Cold War gangsters in East Berlin. Nein.

  • TheAmericaness

    Early 80’s meets itself.

  • Diego!

I only like one jacket. Everything else sucks big tme!

  • Deb_Lynn

….. are the designers following the “awkward family photos” tumblrs or something?

  • seelebrennt

    this is hurting my feelings.

  • Betsy

What the EFF are they wearing on their feet?!? They’re the ugliest “trainer” shoes! They look like they’re rejects from the military. And as others have said, probably the East German military.

  • sablehunter

It looks like everyone is wearing pants from 35 pounds ago. Not a good look.

  • msdamselfly

Love the retro look–some great pieces there

  • Blair Sylvester

I think Prada needs a vacation because she has lost her damn mind

  • George McFly realness.

  • kim bunchalastnames

    every sweater tells a story.

  • MilaXX

nah, this one is a fail for me. I don’t like the cut of the jackets and I dislike pleated pants with a passage. On top of that the clashing colors are making my eyes cry. None of this is working.

  • crash1212

Must these collections either be too short and too tight OR big and baggy? Is there no happy medium out there? I am so not diggin’ the menswear collections of late. Just – NO!

  • Some of the blazers have interesting cuts. All the pants are utterly forgettable. And those sweaters are Hih Dee Uss. Please Dear God tell me that short sleeved knits worn with ling sleeved shirts in not going to become a thing.

  • Is it weird that I want every piece for myself, and nothing for my boyfriend?

  • mike rhoads

some chorus boys from a tour of West SideStory seem to have wandered onto the runway

  • demidaemon

I am pro the jackets but against those hideous prints. Yuck.

  • AnniNoone

That sweater…Bill Cosby meets Three Wolf Moon. Shudder.

    • Kent Roby

I blame the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party trend for leading to this.

  • Sara Padilla

    soooo… Dockers?

  • Qitkat

    *tiptoes in late*
I like several of the patterned shirts/sweaters/jackets/whatever layers. Particularly the ones that look like cool, graphic, vintage posters.

  • Slanted & Enchanted

I love almost all of the tops. The sweaters, in particular, are awesome. And all the patterned shirts! Although, toss those on with some skinny pants or short shorts and all you’ve really got are hipsters…glorious hipsters.

  • Sushy Gooroo

Interesting colour combinations, but somehow most of these outfits don’t seem to fit properly.

  • Jaeda Laurez

They look like mid-level drug dealers from a bad 80’s movie.

  • Isabel

Are the suitcases also Prada? Not bad

  • FrigidDiva

I can’t stand the amount of cuff being shown. I know, compared to how hiddy everything else is it seems like a minor quibble, but it’s making my eye twitch. And are all the jackets rolled up? Are they designed that way? Oy, my head hurts tryong to figure this out.

  • Renaissance_Man_ATL

    Homeless chic?

  • ankali

Hate. Haaaaaaate. I can’t with those pants and those awful, awful prints.

  • formerlyAnon

I LOVE those loose trousers & jackets so much I could just roll around in ’em smiling (though, I’d rather see them on fine men.) I can accept that I am too much of a fashion peasant to understand the appeal of faux-vintage tacky upholstery prints made up into shirts.

But WHAT IS UP with those soft zip-up jackets, sweaters and polos? Is it me, or do they make all of these guys look alarmingly and unflatteringly slope-shouldered?

  • Vanja

I’m not loving the drab colours.

  • Hawaiian prints in Autumnal colours? This is a very depressing spring collection.

  • Targettaste

My dad must have been a genius. He wore this mismatched ill-fitting stuff decades ago. Embarrassed then, embarrassed now.

    • Our dads should be friends.

  • Beardslee

That first photo gave me a flashback to the halls of my high school, circa 1977. Anyone else remember the polyester shirts with scenes printed on them that everyone wore? Alas, what I am seeing in this collection is the recrudescence of that horrible era.

    • formerlyAnon

      OH YES.

  • PeggyOC

Say NO to flappy belts hanging down like tongues on overheated dogs.

  • Cosby sweaters and Hawaiian shirts. My dad will be thrilled to know he’s cool again.

  • Carol

Thank god, no skinny pants! Maybe that trend will finally die, and my husband (who has both butt and thighs) can finally buy a new pair of pants.

Otherwise this is a painfully ugly collection.

  • Kimbolina

    Grandpa pants.

The polos over the long sleeves just made me laugh.

  • uprightcitizen

So. Much. Cosby. Show. Cliff, Theo, and Vanessa … all rolled into one.

  • Anniebet

At least I’m only giggling and not guffawing at this one, like I was at the last few men’s collections featured here. Extra points for no grass skirt.

  • Shawn EH

Either terribly unflattering clothes or unattractive models, I can’t tell which.

  • Puckndc

Hate most of it, but LOVE the sweaters!
