Malin Akerman attends the 2013 ESPY Awards at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California in a J. Mendel royal blue organza jacquard v-neck sleveless dress paired with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, a Hunting Season clutch, and Loree Rodkin and Jack Vartanian jewelry.

OH NO. I love the color, but that deep V is making her boobs look like they go down to her navel. Girl needs to push her shoulders back. Also, mullet hem.

      • Lucía Gavello

Looking at this and Gabrielle Union’s outfit I guess the memo read “Boobs showing, unflattering neckline please”.

    • hughman

Oh honey… no. Phyllis Diller only JOKED about hers.

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

        Bless you for this!

      • Rand Ortega

She looks like she’s about to exclaim, “FANG!”

      • Kristin McNamara

Fill me in…? I feel left out of a really funny joke I’m obviously not getting :(

        • Coolekat

          Google Phyllis Diller.

    • Vaniljekjeks

Kind of stiff and awkward, but that is her color. Those shoes are borderline payless…

      • sweetestsith

So help me, I kind of love her shoes. They look like slightly demented butterflies, and apparently I’m super ok with that.

        • kimmeister

Maybe they’ll start migrating northwest for the winter!

Oh my. Malin, we know you *just* had a baby, and girl, you look great. But, that deep V is doing you and yours no favors. Also, the construction of the black, waist emphasizing, ribbons (or some such) is making you look poochy. Kudos for getting out that hot, post baby, bod out there, but not like this. Never like this.

    • Sobaika

I’m not opposed to the dress (the shoes on the other hand…) but she needs to stand up straight.

    • Diego!

Oh my Gosh… SAD tits again!!! No honey, no. Please throw that unflattering dress in the garbage can!

    • Amy909

The ESPY’s are primarily a bunch of fashion fails, which would make sense since most (there are exceptions of course) athletes aren’t used to dressing up and red carpets. That and athlete bodies are difficult to dress. But this difficulty seems to have rubbed off on all of the celebrities who show up as well! No excuses for them!

      • marlie

You would think that this would give the actors/actresses, who are used to the red carpet, an opportunity to shine, but nope. Not in the least.

      • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Apparently ESPYs = Tits on parade. Sooooo many plunging necklines.

      • drdarke

The incessant gurning she’s doing on the RC doesn’t help, either.

    • marlie

Gorgeous color, but “organza jacquard” screams WINTER to me. And I wish for the love of God that she’d stand up straight.

      • Stella Zawistowski

Totally. Not a bad dress for a Christmas party. Even that color would be fine in July if it were a lighter fabric.

      • 3boysful

I agree. Also, her hair color really doesn’t go with her skin shade and it bugs.

    • MilaXX

the wide, deep V gives everyone saggy tits

    • Jonquil

None of it works. Not one damn thing.

    • cowper

Very appropriate dress to wear to a show called the ESPYS. I definitely see them, but I do not want to see them!

    • Nancer

I really dislike the wide, low-cut V-neck on this. It isn’t flattering at all. It looks like her breasts need to be pulled up and put into place, which I am sure isn’t what was intended. In general, this neckline doesn’t work for a woman who has a chest. You can tell she isn’t comfortable or confident in this just by her posture. The color, on the other hand, is fabulous.

    • sweet_potato

      awful dress.

    • Garcia Loca

Gorgeous girl, meh dress, FAB shoes!

    • poggi

Are we sure it’s J. Mendel and not Medela? Because it looks like a nursing cocktail dress.

    • MoHub

Was inside boobage a requirement for this event? That’s two pair in a row.

    • bertkeeter

      Sloppy and pointless!

    • Lori

The too-deep V-neck is obviously the main problem with this dress, but the hem is also weird. It’s a mullet dress so half-assed that it looks like a hemming error. Why does that exist?

    • DamH

Too much skin out there. NO

    • Carrieanno

      She has a nice smile.

    • JP

Is there something about the ESPY’s that just makes ladystars say “here are my tits!”???

    • NoveltyRocker

Maybe a pencil skirt, good posture, and an updo would have brought structure to this.

      • Candigirl1968

        Still wouldn’t have worked.

    • MzzPants

      The girls need some help.

    • Louise Bryan

      Stand. Up. Straight.

    • plinkiedoodle

      Ugh from head to toe.

    • demidaemon

Well, I’m glad she ditched the pants. That’s about the only positive comment I can make.

      • kimmeister

Those look like suede boots on the model to me.

    • Jennifer Bober

Oh, honey, hand that back to a 5’10” model with no boobs.

    • Danielle L

      Titscrepancy.

    • titaness25

I do not get these sternum dresses. It’s a lovely colour, but a neckline should actually be within wishing distance of your actual neck.

    • Anniebet

Not a good look for her. Thick through the middle isn’t what lady stars should aim for.

    • Jaeda Laurez

Her posture is horrible. I like the dress, but the way she’s standing is doing no favors.

    • Imasewsure

Wow wrong body for that dress! Great dress for a nice, flat skinny girl though

    • decormaven

Aww, someone got swept up in the moment of free swag. Just because you can get it doesn’t mean you should wear it. That dress is meant for a long-torso’d, lean body. Nothing is wrong with your form, dear; this just isn’t the dress for you. The shoes cut the length of the leg as well; an unfortunate punctuation mark on the matter.

    • oatmealpie

Left breast and right breast are having a fight. They aren’t speaking to each other right now.

    • Trisha26

I love that textured material but egads does she need support of some kind.

    • MsKitty

I want to reach through the monitor and push her shoulders back. Bad posture drives me nuts.

    • http://thishotoldbroad.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

      Not your dress!

    • http://twitter.com/carelessriver Caterina Maria

She’s looking a little cheap in that. Unfortunate.

    • librarygrrl64

      Yawn.

    • VicD

Such an almost. But the way that the neckline is too open on her (as opposed to how it looks on the runway) and the alteration to shorten it ruin the lines of this dress. Liked it on the runway, not so much on the ladystar. I do like her red carpet shoes with it though.

    • sekushinonyanko

Well Malin, darling, if you have breasts then you need to wear something that either lets you hide a bra or has enough structure not to require one. Look at you having breasts and a dress that you can’t hide a bra under! A problem. And your posture exacerbates it significantly.

    • ShaoLinKitten

      Stand up straight, Malin!

    • Stacy Feng

      Oh, honey, your boobs….
