Jason Sudeikis on David Letterman

Posted on July 26, 2013

We don’t follow his career as closely as some, so maybe someone can tell us if there’s a reason why Jason looks like a background player in a ’70s cop show. We’re totally asking. Is this for a role or something?

Jason Sudeikis makes an appearance on the “Late Show With David Letterman” to promote his new movie “We’re The Millers” in New York City.

Because it’s really not working for us. He’s always been kind of playful on the hair and whiskers front, though. We think we could handle either the big hair or the copstache, but not both at the same time.

But hey; nice shoes.

Look at that guy behind him. He’s squeeing like a little fangurl. Then in other shots he’s all business. Hilar.
Love Sudeikis. His Romney was the best part of SNL during the ’12 election. He’s got comedian style (w/ the possible exceptions of Chris Rock or Eddie Murphy). Nothing to see here, people.

    • Jessica Freeman

He’s almost photo bombing in some of them. Spectacular.

  • kimmeister

Are those shoes olive green? That’s how they’re reading on my monitor.

    • alyce1213

Hard to tell, could be olive or a sort of mossy peat color. Either way, I like them.

S’okay with me. The more fur the better. If none of y’all want it, I’ll take him off your hands.

    • Heather

      I’ll wrassle you for him.

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

THAT would be a sight to see. hee hee hee hee.

        • DCSheehan

Oh praise be, more fur lovers. How about we share him?

  • Jessica Freeman

    Pornstache.

    • majorbedhead

      My thoughts exactly.

    • drdarke

Well, cops and porn stars had the same ‘staches in the Seventies, @jessicafreeman:disqus ! It was how we guys made ourselves look all “rugged” and “masculine” at the time – which we really truly needed, given we were wearing tight-fitting polyester pantsuits and fake-silk shirts with designs (the first time my Mom saw my shrimp-colored leisure suit with Quiana shirt, she pointed out she had a pantsuit that looked just like it!), and messing with our hair more than our girlfriends at the time did.

I tried growing a Seventies ‘stache myself – when I started going out with the woman I later married, she convinced me to shave it off. She also – did something to my leisure suit and shirt, and I still don’t know where it went….

      • demidaemon

        What a smart lady!

        • drdarke

Yeah, well – I’ll admit natural fiber clothing feels better, and it breathes so you don’t sweat quite so much in it ,@demidaemon:disqus . The mustache was also a mistake – while my hair’s brown (when I had some) my ‘stache came out blonde, so it vanished against my very Caucasian skin!

OTOH, I kind of loved my black Quiana shirt with the red and yellow roses on it….

  • Tatiana Luján

His hair is lovely. I might have a Lane Kim momento around him.

  • NC_Meg

When did he start going grey? How old is he?

    • Heather

      38-ish I think?

  • stubbornthoughts

He’s got a strong Ron Burgundy going on right now…

  • alyce1213

He has really nice hair, so I vote for big hair.
He has enough room for a moustache, but I don’t think it does much for him. Is it crooked?

  • MilaXX

That’s not a good look, I hope the stache is for a role.

  • Jilli_Beans

    Harvey Dent?

  • Nanaia

I love that his socks and tie match. How cute! But I agree, he looks like he belongs as the cop busting Starsky and Hutch’s chops over something.

    • drdarke

LT. SUDEIKIS, NYPD! I could totally see him running a squad of guys (two Irish, one Italian or Jewish for ethnic flavor, one Black because – it’s the Seventies, Man, get with the program!) in cheap suits as they bust bad guys in stinking crumbling Noo Yawk City, while dealing with The First Woman Detective Ever in their house!

Squealing tires, weekly shoot-outs and fistfights, lots of panic over “a Gurl!” in the locker room and having to learn to use The Computer(!!!) Headquarters just had installed. Good times….

  • Michael Martin

Mmm. I’m a little moist now.

  • H2olovngrl

I think I am kinda liking the pornstache!

  • geans

Good grief he’s cute. I tell ya, the grey, it does it for me.

  • d4divine

    Daddy is hungover.

  • YourBaloneyDontGotNoSecondName

    I’d hit that.

  • GoryDetails

He doesn’t look bad – surprised and slightly goofy, yes, but not bad – but all I could think was “Tintin hair!”.

  • JauntyJohn

Suit fits really well, tie clasp is a nice touch and there’s some style going on with the socks-to-tie thing.
Let’s call it “virile” hair and the ‘stache is wit or whim.
    I vote yes.

  • ShaoLinKitten

I think he is really hot, actually. The headsuit seems like whimsy to me.

  • kim bunchalastnames

    love the socks.

  • kipper

That hair is approaching full on Astro Boy …..( but yes, I am fully in the ” he is hot ” catagory )

  • Ron Zank

He went to high school with a friend and I’m still sad she hasn’t introduced us. He looks swell to me.

  • Slanted & Enchanted

I never found him attractive until this moment. That hair! Also, mustaches are amazing and they need to make a comeback. Those and short shorts for men.

  • boweryboy

I don’t know who he is, but this works for me on so many levels. Yum.

I know he’s leaving SNL, or he has left SNL. He is also quite a chameleon, a rather handsome fellow who can look strange when he wants. My favorite is the guy dancing in the athletic suit on all the “What’s up with that?” skits with Kenan Thompson. He is totally nerdy and very coordinated in a funny white way. Maybe he’s trying to look more like a leading man; he’s changing his image, period. He’s handsome.

  • Alexandra Pimenta

I cannot judge properly as I have the most unexplainable gigantic hots for him. He just does it for me, kwim? It’s so weird….

    • XPT

If it’s weird we have the same weirdness!

  • Beardslee

I like the way he looks. He looks interesting and fun and I am a sucker for a man who wears socks like that.

  • Shawn EH

I think he just knows how good he is at “Serpico background cop guy.”

  • Cathy S

    I don’t know. I’m getting a J. Jonah Jameson vibe.

  • Danielle L

    Oh my God, no.

  • EEKstl

What’s weird is I think these are the forst photos of JS wherein I am noticing what a good looking guy he his.

  • ventureforth

He looks weirdly like BJ Hunnicutt from M*A*S*H…

  • IraKi

I am simply in love with him no matter what he wears. Maybe it’s because I always picture him naked…(plus his appearing on 30 rock really adds many points in his favour in my list of to-do male stars)
