This is some of the very best styling we’ve ever seen on Amanda.
Amanda Seyfried covers the July 2013 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Korea magazine in Dolce&Gabbana photographed by Ahn Jooyoung and styled by Park Hyesoo and Hong Hyeonkyeong.

You wouldn’t think so from looking at tiny little blonde, blue-eyed her, but Amanda seems to be difficult to style for some reason. Having seen her on a ton of red carpets and in various editorials, we’ve noticed that a range of stylists can’t seem to quite find that look for her that sets off her own looks and personality. There’s a natural coquettish quality to her that isn’t very modern or very American. Very Lillian Gish, in a way. To be a bit more blunt about it, her look is pure Lolita and that’s a tough look to sell to mainstream audiences in 2013. We don’t mean she should be styled to a girlish effect or made to look younger than she is; just that her big-eyed sensual innocence is what sets her apart from every other generic blonde starlet out there, and this styling – both the clothes and the hair and makeup – manages to tap into that without being weird about it. That picture of her in the white Gucci is the best look we’ve ever seen her in, period. A shame it probably wouldn’t translate to something like a red carpet.
