“Y’know, one snap of my fingers and I can raise hemlines so high that the world is your gynecologist! – Patsy Stone

    • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

      good one!

  • Katie Wolf

I wish I had the fashion education & vocab to express how little this collection does for me.

    • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

If you find the words, please let me know. All that is coming to me is, ‘why did they think they could have a collection based on a diaper?’

  • alyce1213

There are some beautiful jackets. The rest is diaper-sarongs and derivative, tacky shit.

    • joything

Jackets, YES! Everything else, NO! well, except for the black velvet gown with raglan sleeves and white lining. That was pretty boss.

  • Jacqueline Wessel

These have Kristen Stewart’s name written all over them.

    • Deb_Lynn

I feel as though I’m looking at a JLo, KStew and Miley Cyrus collaboration….

      • Airkisses

I could see RIhanna rocking a few of the later pieces, and Heidi Klum in some of the tight, short stuff… except I’m not sure if the pieces are shiny enough for her.

    • barbarienne

I’m counting the minutes until we see GOOP in the full-length sheer thing. (#19, if I didn’t lose track in the count)

    • Deedles

      I was thinking Sharon Stone…

  • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

    Units realness.

  • AshBookworm

I quite like the fifth one from the top.

  • Grace

Deconstructed Spanx. That’s all I see here.

  • Airkisses

    8th from the bottom: JLo.

    • ballerinawithagun

I was liking this collection, almost had a Haider Ackerman vibe at first, but then it turned into JLo territory and then I was over it. I was coveting the gold highly embellished jacket without all of the crap they have underneath but then I saw the black possibly knit cuffs. I would have to remove those cuffs immediately!

    • Snailstsichr

I see her in the final gown, too.

  • Jaeda Laurez

Well, you can’t say he didn’t have a definite vision LOL.

I like a lot of the pieces (black pantsuit thing, the jackets) , but it all looks like things we’ve seen before from other people, so i’m not excited about any of it, really.

  • Sagecreek

Not crazy about all the weird draping.

  • lrhg

Sorry, all I can see is the diaper-skirts.

  • Annarosa

those shoes are scaring the s**t out of me.

please, guys, why don’t you upload last Elie Saab collection? That was perfection.

    • marlie

Elie Saab was BEAUTIFUL. Now if I only had those extra millions laying around, I could get a couple of those pieces.

  • PastryGoddess

it’s a more sheer less shiny version of Versace

    Still tacky though

  • Diego!

AMAZING collection! I loved it! I hope that is fake fur and ecological leather tough. But it’s visually stunning!

  • Beardslee

I feel like anyone who wore these clothes would be frequently plucking at them to keep the drape right and decorum (or what passes for it) maintained. I challenge M. Vauthier to spend an hour in one of his miniskirts and and see if he still thinks a bit of draped cloth across the loins is a good idea.

    • demidaemon

That would be awesome and awful at the same time.

  • j_anson

For all those women who want to communicate that they’re a Russian mob-boss’s latest conquest.

  • Monzerrat Ontiveros

    sexy and chic! :)

  • Deac82

It feels like a poor copy of Gaultier with none of whimsy…and none of the class.

  • StellaZafella

I like some of this quite a bit more than I should and the sum of it half as much as I want to.

The black cat suit open to “here” is something I would WANT to wear, but have no business in.
But it feels like something Donna Karan already did…some time ago.

    • marlie

And did better, and with more class.

  • mjude

    do not like

  • Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

Most of them look like they thrown on and allowed to stay stuck in undergarments or awkwardly rucked up.

  • JauntyJohn

My focus kept getting pulled to those completely hideous, totally-unflattering-to-every-woman-and-foot, toeless sock shoes, or whatever they’re supposed to be called.
Other than a very, very specific fetishist I have a hard time imagining anyone feeling that they are an appealing or attractive look.

The clothes are a bit in the Wonder Woman Formal Wear category but some beautiful lines, to be sure.
(Dress #19 has Rihanna written all over it.)

EDIT: Seriously, I scrolled back through to try and pay more attention to the gowns but those shoes look as though the people who make Ace Bandages decided to get into the women’s footwear business.

    • Beardslee

I was so focused on those horrible skirt approximations, I didn’t even notice the shoes until I read your post. Eww, you are so right. Awful!

  • MaggieMae

I suppose if I even remotely LIKED that kind of skirt/wrapping/whatever, I’d love this collection. But, I don’t, so I really don’t. Too much of a bad thing.

  • Murtada

    Salanda – paging Ms. Saldana

  • Jangle57

My first thought: diaper skirts. And in reading the comments, I see I am not alone.

  • Frank_821

Some of the pieces I like. A couple of the coats are fun. But overall the collection has a a noveau-riche Euro-trash vibe to it. It kind of screams Real Housewife of whatever slavic city

  • frannyprof

Already preparing myself for lots of Kardashians wearing this stuff. Especially Kim, who must be DYING to show off her “post-baby body.” Yuck.

  • Kayceed

I’m seeing an untalented, angry take on Donna Karan.

  • crash1212

Hmmmm, I guess finding your spirit silhouette and sticking with it shows vast dedication? Only piece I would totally cut someone for is the leather jacket in panel 15 from top. Otherwise…not so much.

  • marlie

I’m underwhelmed. There’s nothing interesting or innovative or even technically/structurally perfect about this collection.

  • Alex Palombo

The left leg is SO HOT RIGHT NOW.

  • majorbedhead

Is that black velvet thing a gown or a one-legged pant suit?

This started off tacky and went all to hell on the scroll down.

  • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

All those side-split drapery things make the knee-length leather shorts silhouette even more jarring that the knee-length leather shorts concept would suggest.

  • BrooklynBomber

I keep thinking of Narcissus, falling in love with his own reflection.

  • call_me_schmeg

inspired by angelina’s leg. that’s it, right?

  • bertkeeter

Sorry, but when did basic RTW level designing start being called Haute Couture? It’s NOT!

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_QFW22QV426LUOEPGASPZJWJMDE MishaFoomin

Were the pants with the wrap fronts below the waist an ’80′s or ’90′s thing? I still have a pair from when they first were around, hot pink and black, in case of Halloween.

  • editrixie

Someone is trying way too hard.

    • demidaemon

I’m more of the opinion of “not hard enough.”

  • MartyBellerMask

    Um, no.

  • MilaXX

I want to hate this, but the more I look at it, the more I kinda like it. My first thought was how fab one of diaper like skirts would look in a maxi version on a bad plus sized model.

  • PrunellaV

I’ll be amazed if any of this looks good on someone besides a runway model.

  • ChiKat67

Man, Heidi Klum now has DOZENS of slit-to-there choices. I’m sure she’ll be fighting RiRi for some of them.

  • cindiaune

90% hideous, 10% Kristen Stewart could wear that.

  • Lisa Hager

Someone please make sure that KStew doesn’t see that see-through pantsuit!

  • Qitkat

I’m just hoping *showing the good china crowd* doesn’t ever see this collection.

  • somebody blonde

    Love the sweaters. Otherwise skanky.

  • shawna

    NOPE. none of it.

  • sekushinonyanko

Boy are Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart going to be catfighting over this collection. And deservedly so, I’m into it.

  • Daenyx

…….. Shot for sexy, missed and hit awkward square on the nose. Some of those dresses look like the model walked into a sheet-laden clothesline and thence straight onto the runway. And that’s the *better* ones.

  • formerlyAnon

The more original pieces are the less attractive, IMO. Raise the necklines and lower the hemlines where necessary for appearing in public places, and the nicer pieces become rather standard slinky for skinny but not at all fashion-forward women in expensive restaurants or at charity galas.

A few nice tailored jackets, though I don’t like the chubbies-esque ones as much and loathe the very full (and lumpily-looking so) fuzzy sweaters.

  • conniemd

Nobody could accuse this collection of not being cohesive. I love cool draping, so there’s a lot I like, but I wish the skirts were a bit longer and the leg slits not cut so high, as the sexy vibe detracts from some of the very cool elegance to the look.

  • poggi

Starlets are going to suffer from hip dysplasia after popping their legs out of these slits.

  • demidaemon

These are kind of strippertastic for a couture collection.

  • Astrid

You know, I kind of like it on the runway, but it’s going to be all vagina curtains once it hits the red carpet. This should stay in fantasy land.

  • Joan Golann

It is a whole collection for Kristin Stewart!

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

Oooh, me likey. Very rock star couture

  • Jake Donohoe

I just kept thinking, oh look, Rihanna and Mila Kunis have some nice things to try on. Some of the draping was really lovely. Some of them look like a mediocre Angelina Jolie red carpet dress.

  • sekushinonyanko

Lea Michele and Kristen Stewart. Mortal Kombat!!

  • ankali

Balmain meets Donna Karan and doesn’t get along with her at all.

  • MemHey

    Yawn.

  • altissima

I’ll wait til I’m old enough to need them before I start wearing adult diapers, thx.

  • TSkot

Very Project Runway. And that’s sad commentary for haute couture.

  • http://twitter.com/carelessriver Caterina Maria

I guess I’m old-fashioned, but I’m tired of the “artfully” bad fit and asymmetrical hems.

  • http://marshmallowjane.com/ marshmallowjane

A woman with one nice left leg can show it off by wearing this collection.

If I were wearing most of these items, I’d have to constantly straighten myself by untwisting and pulling things down. Even the jackets have collars that are asymmetrical. Not a fan of this collection.

  • Aurumgirl

It’s one idea for a skirt, carried into one idea for everything. The last straw is the proliferation of canklification boots.

  • Meg

This screams ” Project Runway Final Collection” to me. And I don’t mean that in a good way.

  • http://www.lippsisters.com/ Deborah Lipp

I made my Superhero Hooker outfit out of bedsheets.

  • akprincess72

I like the puffy white sweater, but I live where it’s -40 for a decent portion of the year, so really it might just look toasty.

  • Synnae

Love the first three jackets. Everything else – not so much. Case of interesting idea, poor (and in most cases highly unwearable) execution.
