Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston Celebrate Final Episodes of “Breaking Bad”

Posted on July 26, 2013

Aaron and Bryan want to wish you all a Happy Sausage Friday, darlings!

Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston celebrate the final episodes of “Breaking Bad” at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California.

And yes, they drove up in Walter White’s RV, which is all kinds of ridiculous awesome. We’ve said it before about Bryan but it’s true of both men here: it’s just so much fun to encounter a celebrity who’s really enjoying their success without being a dick about it.

Their suits, on the other hand…

We’re teasing. We actually really like both suits. The fit seems a bit wonky on both of them, but sometimes when you’re faced with two people having such fun, your little hemline quibble become pretty meaningless.

Not that they were ever very meaningful to begin with.

And we’re just gonna come right out and say it: Bryan Cranston is one finely aged block of cheese.

“Bryan Cranston is one finely aged block of cheese.”

I’ll have a bite of that cheddar, please!

      • Eric Stott

Cranston does clean up nice- as Marc said in Ugly Betty:
“Who’d have thought there were hardwood floors under that shag carpeting?”

    • CPK1

in total agreement about bryan. finely aged indeed!

      • mshesterp

I think it’s the dimples. They’re so adorable!

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Aww geez, they couldn’t spring for real glasses? PLASTIC champagne flutes? I am hurting inside. lol

      • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

They DID arrive in a motor home.

        • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

I suppose I should give them a pass then. And of course they ARE both super-edible looking.

        • H2olovngrl

          Touché…!

        • ankali

Yeah, I guess we’re lucky they didn’t use the red Solo cups. :)

          • drdarke

What’s wrong with red Solo cups, @ankali:disqus ?

I find they help round out your tablewear immensely for only a few bucks a bag – and you can wash and reuse them at least four-five times….

            • ankali

You can’t put those in the dishwasher, can you? No way I’m handwashing Solo cups! Their attraction to me lies in their disposable-ness. If Mama throws a party, Mama wants to be able to clean up the next day (with a hangover) by just sweeping everything on every surface into a garbage bag.

            • drdarke

Sure you can put them in the dishwasher, @ankali:disqus!

I do sometimes – then sometimes I drop them in the dishwater along with the cat’s dishes…because one thing no dishwashing machine can yet scour is day-old dried cat food….

        • drdarke

@annabelle_archer:disqus’s got it, #@kiltdntiltd:disqus – normally you’d be right, but plastic champagne flutes are event-appropriate here.

    • Introspective

adorbs. both of them. thank god its sausage friday.

    • JimMcC

Really enjoying that Aaron Paul seems to alternate between adorable and crazy eyes in each of these pictures. Does he just have a mean looking resting face? Reminds me of the SNL sketch on Bitchface.

      • MilaXX

There’s a youtube out there about resting bitchface

    • Victoria Anzalone

My favorite Sausage Friday post to date. <3

    • Virginia McMurdo

Bryan Cranston is handsome! I said it.

      • H2olovngrl

Keep on saying it! I think we all agree!

    • PaulRin

Bryan Cranston still CAN GET IT I mean, seriously, he just exudes the hot “cool guy” I want to drink with and then make out.

Aaron Paul. Sign. He’s like a delicious Jarlberg cheese.

    • hmariec19

      LOVE. Love love love.

    • Frank_821

yup they are hot yet adorable duo

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Toasting their show or toasting you gentlemen? Who’s to say? Either way, they radiate good times and love.

    • Jessica Freeman

I never got into the show, but I have enjoyed watching them interact in public. I love me a finely aged man block of cheese. Sigh.

    • Chuck Barthelme

I am SO going to miss this show. Might have to watch it again from the beginning once it’s over. I’m almost certain it’s the greatest TV show of all time. And seems fitting to be ending before it gets stale. LOVE both of these guys, but Bryan has got to be one of my favorite actors.

      • ccinnc

I’ve watched every episode of all 4.5 seasons at least twice now and if I had time before the final season starts would do it all over again. Every viewing I catch something new. It’s one of the best-written shows ever, the characters are wonderful, and the dialogue is SO juicy and memorable.

“I am the one who knocks.”

        • Sartorial_She

That quote/scene is one of my all-time favorites in my personal TV-watching history. I agree–epic show.

        • tereliz

I just watched that episode again last night! LOVE IT! Better hurry and rewatch the rest!

    • Heather

      Yummy!

    • formerlyAnon

Yeah. Cranston is . . . appealing. Mmmm.

They do look like they’re having fun, and the raised champagne glasses are rather apropos ’round these here parts today, no?

Bringing me to: Why the heck are you two nuts WORKING TODAY????? I hope you’ve got something awesomely decadent, whatever that means to you two, planned for the weekend.

      • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

I was emotionally prepping for a TLo-less Friday.

        • formerlyAnon

Right? Totally thought there should be a post saying “just married” and then radio silence till Monday, at least.

I know the pressures to keep the content coming are strong on bloggers from readers & advertisers – but I like to think of this as a particularly well-run family business blog, not a soul-less corporate blog. We’d have coped.

          • Lori

Maybe we’re getting posts they put in the queue before the big event and what looks like T&Lo working is actually just a nice gift they gave us while they’re doing a little honeymooning.

            • formerlyAnon

              Oh, I SO hope so.

I like to imagine all newlyweds who’ve been together a while indulging in a huge, sloppy, sentimental wallow in “what I loved about you then and what I love about you now” combined with the get-away-from-it-all break that everybody who lives (and even more so works!) together needs periodically to break through that crust of day-to-day routine & responsibilities.

Um, not that I over-think things. Not at all. Really.

          • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Coped? Do you know how much more shit I’d get done? : )

            • formerlyAnon

Oh my dear, I do know.

          • http://beautyforrealgirls.blogspot.com/ accidental housewife

They need a virtual car that we can fill with virtual balloons.

    • http://viridianpostcard.blogspot.com/ viridian61

Working today? No rest for the newly married, I see. Have some fun today!

    • Karen Belgrad

Aaron Paul…Look at Bryan Cranston’s waist. See the belt? This lesson was brought to you by the letter B.

      • formerlyAnon

I was holding back on the subject of hairstyle, myself.

        Learn from the sensei, grasshopper.

    • queeniethebold

Two of the awesomest guys anywhere. Covered with awesome sauce. And with a side of hot awesome.

i’m going to rewatch the entire series from the start on Netflix.

      • Erin Hines

And Cranston and Paul a’int bad either ;0

      • MilaXX

I did that before the start of last season. I was surprised to realize that Walt was a jerk from day one. Somehow in my mind he started out as this hen picked nebbish, when in reality it was he really had no one to blame for his sad sack life but himself.

        • guest2visits

Yes – my husband and I are watching the whole thing over again and I have a much more harsh opinion of Walt then I first did. I rate every stupid move he makes and the cold, cold inability to connect with his second son in Jesse (which could have saved him early on). And now instead of despising Jesse for a weakass fool – this time around he’s got depth and personality I never could see… and he just breaks my heart every time.

          • MilaXX

What really struck me was how he liked to make it seem like his old colleagues stole the company out from under him, when in actuality he let them buy him out for a pittance & broke off with his fiance over some imaged slight. I worry as long as Jesse is with Walt things will end very badly for him. Walt is the very definition of dangerous to himself and others.

            • ccinnc

Jesse isn’t with Walt now. And Walt finally gave him his $5 million. I wonder if Jesse will ever learn how Walt manipulated him, even arranging for a child to be poisoned in order to get what he wanted from Jesse. That’s some cold shit.

            • MilaXX

You just know he’ll be sucked back in. Not only did he poison the kid, he let Jane die.

        • filmcricket

YUP! One of the big reasons I couldn’t finish watching the show. Guy’s always been a dick; made it harder to feel in any way sorry for him or like I cared about his fate.

    • PastryGoddess

I’d be the grater to that cheese any day of the week.

    • filmcricket

Wow, you guys got married? Congratulations, that’s awesome!

Yes, Cranston is wunderbar. Love that guy.

    • HobbitGirl

I like that they seem really comfortable touching each other with affection. I don’t see that a lot with male stars. Too much homophobic panic in the general atmosphere, I guess. These guys always look like they’re having a great time.

      • formerlyAnon

And it always seems so odd to me when actors who seem to get along are physically stand-offish with each other, since [sweeping generalization alert] most actors I’ve known are more comfortable being physical than the average joe.

    • MaggieMae

Love them both. Love the show. Kinda want to see them make-out.

    • Emily Smith

I think Aaron is wearing red socks. This pleases me.

    • carnush

They are just so darn cute. I’m gonna miss this show a lot.

    • Danielle L

      *FLAILS*

    • MilaXX

Yo, I love both these guys…… Bitch!

    • flamingoNW

      Counting the days….

    • ThaliaMenninger

I have loved Bryan Cranston since the soap LOVING tried to spin off from ALL MY KIDS. And then, of course, as the dentist who accused Jerry of being an anti-dentite on SEINFELD. He was born the same year as me, and he looks a lot like a really cool guy I went to high school with. What’s not to love?

    • Lenora Dody

Did you see the story about Bryan Cranston at Comic Con? He walked all around the Con in his character mask and didn’t reveal himself until the Breaking Bad panel.

    • siriuslover

Love what appear to be Aaron Paul’s red socks paired with the shoes (with the red heels?). I never got into Breaking Bad. My husband really liked the show, but like Dexter, it’s just over that line I can cross. However, I have always loved Bryan Cranston and am happy to see how successful this show was for him.

    • marlie

They both look pretty good. But more importantly, they both genuinely look happy and like they’re having fun.

    • ccinnc

I love them both so much. If you’ve ever watched the outtakes/bloopers on youtube, it’s obvious all the cast loves each other too. It’s a terrific show, and I’m going to go into deep depression when it’s all over.

    • stubbornthoughts

“…it’s just so much fun to encounter a celebrity who’s really enjoying their success without being a dick about it.”

      THIS. Always this.

    • jen

They are so adorable!! Love them!!!

    • guest2visits

Though they both look good – I am loving whatever material Aaron’s suit is made of; very sharp.
Cheers to a great show and a great cast.

    • http://heartprintandstyle.com/ Vivi N

“Bryan Cranston is one finely aged block of cheese.”

      Yes. Yes. He. Is.

    • CeeQ

You are so right about Cranston! I sometimes have to do a double take when I see red carpet pics of him and go…well damn, that was hot.

    • Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

      Yes he is.

    • DarkWillow

These two obviously genuinely like each other – they’re adorable here!

    • jilly_d

I just love these two. Aaron Paul’s Jesse is just the most heartbreaking character on TV, and thus, Aaron can do no wrong in my book.

    • ShaoLinKitten

They are both adorable. Aaron Paul seems hellbent on photobombing every picture with his weird little faces, which is really cute. They seem to genuinely like each other and have fun. VERY excited for the final season of Breaking Bad.

    • NoveltyRocker

Man these guys look great—genuinely stoked and gracious over the whole experience and so debonair. The Crystal Ship!! I’m excited about the last episodes and really sad to see it all wrap.

    • snarkykitten

He should have worn the creepy Walter mask

    • frannyprof

      How cute are they?!

    • Shawn EH

An illustration of Innocence and Experience.

    • melanie0866

Yeah, Bryan Cranston looks SO unattractive on Breaking Bad – especially in his early, Mr. White-the-Chem-teacher days. But in real life, he’s HOT. Acting, I guess!

    • Erica Woods Tucker

I have a huge crush on that block of cheese….I’d serve him on a cracker any day.
