Wow what unforgiving fabric. But she does it justice!

    • aeb1986

      she better be wearing spanx!

      • marlie

I think even Spanx would show under this!

  • Sobaika

I would be all for this if it weren’t for tacky illusion netting.

  • shirab

Too long, looks like it would be staticky in addition to being plain old clingy, but if I had her fab butt, I’d throw that dress over it, too.

  • That is Marchesa? Where are all the furbelows?
    She looks slammin’.

    • conniemd

My thought exactly. Couldn’t believe it was a Marchesa dress. So simple and clean.

      • RedRaven617

        I want her rear end.

        • Kristin McNamara

Just her read end? I want her everything. Sorry to use the word Kiltd already used, but she does look full. stop. slammin.

    • NC_Meg

I just kept scrolling down thinking, “A Marchesa dress that I don’t hate? Can it be?”

    • StellaZafella

Body-oddy-oddy…and the dress let’s it show (I had a Disco dream last night and can’t get it out of my head). Amazing dress, amazing show of restraint for Marchessa as well.
And the back-do Bump-it hair works here because it’s soft and looks like it “doesn’t mind being styled within and inch of its life”

      • MilaXX

I’ve got Sir mix-a-lot in my mind now.

  • teensmom99

Is this the low rent line?

    • IMNAngryLiberal

I was wondering that myself. It is really light on the geegaws (which is not a bad thing) and the fabric looks kind of cheap to me.

  • crash1212

    Fits like a glove. Beautiful.

  • Emily Rose

I would like it so much better if her hair wasn’t doing that poof thing I hate so much.

  • R.A.

It’s a skosh too tight but she certainly does look beautiful. Would be better without the bump-it hair.

  • gloriana232

I really don’t like that bump hair. It always strikes me as kind of trashy. Ah well. Most women wouldn’t be able to pull off the gown at all, so kudos for that.

Many more kudos for the adorable Bryan Cranston pics.

    • Lucía Gavello

Yes! I’m all for smart Bryan Cranston accessorizing

  • Emily Wilson

    That fits her PERFECTLY
    Also, Bryan Cranston is precious

  • charlotte

It is Marchesa and I don’t hate it. I actually like it. Don’t mind the illusion netting in this case.

    • jen_vasm

This is my favorite Marchesa gown, I think. Her body is doing it justice. Her hair, bumpit or not, is a little schoolgirly. Wished she zhushed it a bit.

  • Chuck Barthelme

Wow. She looks amazing in that. Wow.

  • AlisonS

I really, really like the dress but I really REALLY dislike the hair. To the point that I stare at it instead of her killer bod in that dress, which I assume is the point.

  • Meg

Maria Menounos was in these pictures?

  • A little tight, perhaps, around her ass…ets, but what a gorgeous dress! Marchesa is more than capable of real beauty if they cut back on all the ridiculous frippery.

  • Congratulations, we are all staring at your (incredible) ass, Maria.

  • Tatiana Luján

love her makeup, the color of her hair and that blue on her.
I don’t hate the illusion netting here and I can’t believe this is Marchesa.
    She’s rocking it.

  • jmorino08

She will never not look pageanty to me. Also… it’s OK to go up a size Maria. No one will ever know and you might be able to breathe!

  • That dress is gorgeous! And she looks lovely. Well, except for that bumpit hair business. Also, nice butt.

  • I don’t know why it’s giving me Esther Williams realness. I know the neck line isn’t right for that at all, but it’s just so swimwear turned pageant gown, the image is stuck.

  • MK03

Whatever. Can we talk about Bryan Cranston?

    • MilaXX

Have you seen Samuel L Jackson’s reading of the “I am the danger!” scene? Priceless.

    • Chuck Barthelme

He is one of my favorite actors. Loved Malcom in the Middle, and I honestly think Breaking Bad is one of the best television shows I’ve ever watched. He is awesome. Plus, based on these shots- also doesn’t take himself too seriously.

    • Catiline

I am usually pretty good about spotting actors from previous roles, but I was 100% floored when it was pointed out to me that Bryan Cranston also played Tim Watley on Seinfeld. I love the anti-dentite episode, I love Breaking Bad, and I still never put the two together. Mad respect.

  • MzzPants lines. Impressive. And Cranston’s just adorable.

    • MilaXX

      probably no underwear.

  • l_c_ann

Last pix: is the back right shoulder blade bead work so insubstantial that it has lost its shape?

Love the color on her and that her hair isn’t caught in the bead work.

  • Julie Chase

The color is gorgeous. And Walter White makes for the best accessory.

  • BuffaloBarbara

I like that dress a lot — very pretty. And I like that she and Cranston decided to just have a little fun.

  • Airkisses

She looks great. Whatever shapewear she’s wearing is doing its job. Even thin girls need some smoothening out in a dress that clingy and tight.

    • MaggieMae

Someone needs to sign her as the face/body of XYZ shapewear company. Stat.

  • Little_Olive

    I’m over it now

  • I love Bryan Cranston!

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

I love the clowning around. But honey, that dress is so tight your body doesn’t even look human!

  • TheAmericaness

Marchesa dresses to me are like the marsupials of the fashion world. They don’t pop out and start walking around on their own in a few minutes to an hour. No they come out as these tiny worm like creatures that have to fight their way up the abdomen of the fashion world, knowing that if they don’t make it to a safe pouch where it can feed and actually grow and mature, it’ll die a cold, painful, unforgiving death in the cruel world that can be fashion. Looks like a dress finally made it, though it is a tad tight. T

    • demidaemon

What an apt analogy. Though I think many of them need more time in utero before joining us in the world.

  • PeaceBang

With a tush like that you don’t need all the fancy schmancy Cleopatra stuff going on at the neckline, which I hate. Bryant Cranston photobomb FTW.

  • Pennymac

    *face palm* I like this?
Quietly weeps for breaking the BK code against Marchesa.

  • isapaiva

Wonderful fit, her body looks slamming, and the color is beautiful. The hair and the crystal-filled illusion netting are tacky though.

  • Synnamin

AMAZING! A Marchesa I actually like! Still, it needs to be taken out just a skosh

  • MilaXX

Cute dress, I never realized she had a booty.

  • quiltrx

Wow, you have got to be one SMOOTH broad to pull that dress off, and she’s doing it.
I’m disappointed in the netting, though. I wanted the collar-y thing to actually be holding up the dress.

  • Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

I love this on her. Not a dress for mere mortals though.

  • macwell

She looks like a Grecian goddess…….Out of all the network gossipists, I always liked her – Mario’s nipples not withstanding….;)

  • bertkeeter

We see dresses that don’t look half as beautiful as this that cost well over $5-10K. For a dress that probably retails for under $1,500 looks darn good!

    • omg_dora

I’ve seen $20 dresses that look more flattering and more interesting.

  • demidaemon

I don’t particularly love the neckline here.

  • Michelle Wilson

I don’t love the illusion at the top, but overall it’s pretty fabulous.

  • ankali

Incredibly flattering to her gorgeous figure. Too bad the fabric makes her look like she’s wearing a dress made out of shapewear.

  • bd73

    flawless as usual.

  • BrooklynBomber

Why don’t other women realize they should hide behind another person (or a pillar, or a door) when wearing Marchesa? Actually, this is from the Notte by Marchesa line, which tends to be less complicated than regular Marchesa. Lovely periwinkle and simple lines, tacky looking collar and netting. It’s a draw.

  • Annarosa

I don’t know why, but I’m quite sure to have seen her wearing something similar lately.
This one suits perfectly, she’s stunning.

Edit: uh, no, I was wrong.

This one reminded me the Oscars 2013 one, which also was mermaid style and one color (very pink).

  • Forget her. More Bryan Cranston pics please.

  • Tuneful54

Have always had a thing for Tim Whatley.

  • barbarienne

How in the world did they get that fitted so perfectly? Amazing.

  • xmixiex

dat ass! it is not easy to wear a clingy fabric like that, and she’s doing it correctly. hair is kinda princess kate. with more bump.

  • peachy

stunning. what a clean, sleek look. nicely done marchesa. thank your stylist, maria.

  • Kristobel

This is super pageant-y. “I’m Maria Menounos and I’m representing California!” This is not Miss America, girl. But you win for posing with Bryan Cranston. BC 4 LYFE.

  • marlie

I rather like this. The color is lovely, and it’s just on this side of not being too prom-y. Her makeup is very pretty, and her hair allows the dress to shine.

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

She has a nice rear end. My.

  • jhedman

How awesome would it be if that were a bustier dress and a separate necklace/collar? Structurally it would probably be impossible, but I hate the netting. I’m sure she’s wearing a full-body piece of shapewear under it and she probably can’t breathe, but she does look amazing.

  • Sarah Caponigro

I will take her physique and switch it with mine ok?? Am I allowed to say that?

  • lalahartma

That is incredible. Her dress looks airbrushed.

  • MandyM

This is very pretty but she looks like she is the runner up for Miss America. Too pageanty!

  • She looks like an Egyptian goddess.

  • Kent Roby

She wins the award for “Hottest Mother of the Bride”.
