A pretty enough dress, but nothing really comment worthy. She looks fine.

  • Clueless_Jock

I had to google Kaufmanfranco but I do like this.

The dress is pretty, but the shoes are yawn inducing and the ring disappears against the fabric. I wish she’d gone with the bling for earrings instead and a more fun look with her hair.

    • Gwyndall

You’re so right! I didn’t even see the ring!

  • AlisonS

Different red satin shoes and this would have been PERFECT for December.

  • susan6

The dress is awesome. The shoes are wrong.

    • Sarah

Agreed! I would love this with better shoes. I wish whoever had styled it had taken some photos of her in it before picking out the shoes, because I bet the dress doesn’t read so baby blue/lavender without flash. The shiny silver Manolo pumps that are everywhere right now might have worked. It would be over the top but so much better than a boring nude pump.

That’d be Jeremiah 29:11 (For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.) and Philippians 4:13 (I can do all things through him who gives me strength.)?

I do most of my inspirational reading on the feet of starlets.

    • shirab

Good work! I thought it said 2011, like the year, that the 4 13 was the date April 13, and I feared she was commemorating a death of a loved one with the date and the angel.

      • headhunter2

        Unless it’s
Numbers 29:11 “You must also sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering. This is in addition to the sin offering of atonement and the regular daily burnt offering with its grain offering, and their accompanying liquid offerings.”

        and

Micah 4:13 – “”Rise up and crush the nations, O Jerusalem!” says the LORD. “For I will give you iron horns and bronze hooves, so you can trample many nations to pieces. You will present their stolen riches to the LORD, their wealth to the LORD of all the earth.”

I guess she has puddy hooves…

    • TheAmericaness

HA! Dude! I did not get why you were quoting scripture. I just thought you were like the baseball guy with the John 3:16 sign and I was like: “Oh, well.. uh.. Thank you? … Does Ms. Sozhr realize she has such an adoring, if not religious zealot of a fan? Anyone?.. Who might want to let her know?” Then like a derp de derp that I am, I came back and was looking closer at the pics and actually saw her feet and that of course explained your comment more. So, I’m the leotard here (Thank you Dan Savage for great adjectives) and you make complete sense.

Making TS’s ball gown look even sillier, considering this is the same event. Pretty dress, shame about the shoes.

  • TheAmericaness

Is she actually wearing a piece of jewelry or is her finger merely poking through a hole in her dress? I can’t tell. (hint, hint… it’s a little lost there dear in your dress….)

  • In_Stitches

Those shoes in red, mauve, cobalt, lemon…any color would have been fun and fabulous. Makeup is a little off as well. Still, that’s a pretty kick ass little dress, so she’d get an IN from me were it up for debate.

  • iheartbuffy

    ugh. shoes. pretty dress though.

    • Rhonda Shore

That and ugh. hair. Otherwise she looks kinda cute.

  • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ foodycatAlicia

I don’t really know what this girl’s regular style is, but I feel like this is not her dress.

  • http://twitter.com/Hussified Coleen

For half a second I thought it was Fan Bing Bing, and I got really excited. Jessica is a letdown, even with that beehive.

  • MilaXX

Gurl, get your life! Those silly putty shoes ain’t got no biz being paired with a sparkly dress!

  • eowyn_of_rohan

She’s got an impressive Blue Steel going in some of these pics. Dress is pretty standard.

  • Nancer

I think these are adorable. Love the dress on her. Shoes and hair – meh.

  • Jacqueline Wessel

Someone hold her down so I can take that ring. Pretty dress, she has a great smile. Hate foot tats.

    • Heather

Yes plus tats on feet and hands tend to wear away and become weird illegible marks after 10 years or so.

      • shirab

I’ll wager if more people thought about how their tats would look in 10 years, there would be fewer tats out there.

        • Heather

I’m quite tattooed, but mine are of high artistic quality and I’ve given careful consideration to where they’re placed on my body.

  • Nicole

The dress is cute enough. As for makeup, I think there’s too much liner along the inner rim of her lower lashline, and a different lipstick could do more for her.

  • Heather

Cute in a Human Disco Ball kind of way, but I hate to think of the marks it left on her backside when she sat down.

  • crash1212

Gorgeous. Simple. Chic. I love a sparkly shift.

  • carnush

Really pretty but the shoes don’t make sense.

  • l_c_ann

    Caption for the second photo:

Giggle, I just farted on the pretty fragrance billboard.

  • demidaemon

    Pretty and generic. Pretty generic.

  • decormaven

Dear, sparkley dresses call attention to oneself. If that is the aim, make sure that the footwear is up to the task. Otherwise, everyone just bemoans your shoe choice, much as in the case here. Console yourself with that cute ring.

  • conniemd

Why oh why would you wear silly putty basic pointed toe heels with a white crystal dress?

  • http://thishotoldbroad.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

Really don’t like foot tatoos. They ruin the look and end up just looking like dirt unless you zoom in and focus on them. Why would you put a tattoo there anyway? The dress is okay. Third picture down, she’s looking like Catherine Zeta-Jones.

  • IAmJ

    God I hate foot tattoos.

  • melanie0866

    That is CUTE.

  • quiltrx

It’s weird that such a sparkle-fest could be so boring.
And she would have been just as well to not wear the ring.

  • CakesOnAPlane

nice Zoolander Blue Steel in the 3rd pic

    • ailujailuj

YES…! we need more of those.

  • marlie

Really? These are the best shoes that she/her people could come up with?

  • lobsterlen

Like the dress. She has beautiful blue eyes. That foot tattoo had to hurt. There really isn’t much “meat” on that part of the foot. I spent a few moments trying to figure out its meaning … dates or bible verse? Think about that lady stars when you get tattoos the focus goes to your tattoos instead of what your wearing.

  • portlandmermaid

Cute and sassy dress, bad shoe. That foot tattoo makes my foot hurt.
I made a dress like this once for a New Year’s eve party. I couldn’t finish it in time so my brother glued the shoulder straps together and off I went. He spray painted my shoes silver and tacky as that sounds, they looked better than those beige pumps

  • mila_8

Don’t let her stand too long in the sun….popcorn may start to pop.

  • librarygrrl64

Pretty girl, pretty dress, everything else is bleh.
