This website is affecting me, I know it. Once upon a time I would have just thought ‘dreamy’ – but now I immediately thought the tie is knotted too small, the suit sleeves a skoosh too long and the hem on the pants should have came up a little higher.

I’m ruined for life I tell ya.

      • charlotte

And n to the eckbeard! Although it doesn’t look that bad on him.

        • LuisaNL

          first thing I noticed.

          • Nicola Anna Molly Page

I refuse to acknowledge the dreaded neck beard – I’m hopefully ignoring it will kill it.

            • formerlyAnon

Nothing has worked with the perma-stubble look, so I don’t think neckbeards will go anywhere anytime soon.

        • Luneowl

My knee-jerk reaction was, “Shave your neck…eh, I guess it looks okay”

      • TheAmericaness

This website does strange things to a person. When my sister got her first job, she saved and bought jewelry. My first job? Video games. Could have cared less. Now all of a sudden I notice when a woman’s handbag matches her shoes. I almost left this site because I thought everyone spent all their time bellyaching about shoes. I thought: What is the big deal? So you don’t like the shoes? Don’t look at them! Now it’s the first thing I notice and I usually make some sort of noise in the morning and my husband says: “Shoes are bad?” Yeah. This site takes you down. :D

        • ailujailuj

          adorable. ;)

      • Dee

But his hands aren’t in his pockets!!

      • drdarke

Oddly, @nicolaannamollypage:disqus – I feel the suit fits reasonably well on him, and the tie looks fine. At least his pants are pooling at his feet or highwater, his jacket looks like he’s not swimming in it, his shirt isn’t so tight it’s strangling him, and while his tie is thin it’s not displeasingly so.

The scruffy face, though? That trend can die an ignominious death right now.

    • Amanda Herriott Welliver

      I didn’t event notice the polka dots…

    • hughman

“This is your Captain speaking. I will soon be turning off the ‘fasten your seatbelt’ sign. Please feel free to move about the cabin. Our in flight movies today are ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ and ‘Spice World’. As usual. Thank you for flying.”

      • charlotte

What would we do without your regular contributions of wit?

      • gabbilevy

I wish more airline pilots got to wear polkadotted shirts. Maybe they do on Virgin Atlantic. Those guys are hip, right?

    • Pollyp

      Clown Shoes

      • MoHub

I was wondering whether the shoes were too big or his feet are exceedingly long.

        • Ginny Ellsworth

You know what they say….”Big Shoes—Big Feet!” :-p

I think he is one of the few men I’ve seen recently that really look good in the skinny suits but the slim fit leg really makes his shoe size pop!

    • Diego!

Mmmm… meh! He looks nice but it’s a meh… I couldn’t care less about David Beckham. I’ve never been a fan of his.

    • jtabz

The man makes polka dots a turn-on. It’s like he’s a sexiness wizard or something.

    • OrigamiRose

He cleans up nicely. Neckbeard be gone!

    • agentilities

Am I the only female who doesn’t swoon for Beckham?

      • formerlyAnon

No. But I can appreciate why others do.

    • majorbedhead

I prefer him in the underwear ads but this isn’t bad. Isn’t bad at all.

      • demidaemon

I actually prefer him in suits. I don’t know. His underwear ads do nothing for me but he is doing everything for me here. I’m weird, I guess.

    • Rand Ortega

As long as he doesn’t speak… & he’s naked. But since he must be clothed here, the pants are too long & the tie isn’t working.

      • Lori

        I like the shirt though.

        • Rand Ortega

          Me, too. Quite stylish.

    • Jacqueline Wessel

Too many clothes. I’m going back to look at Tyson Beckford.

      • Rand Ortega

Right behind ya. All that shirtlessness & I’m considering petitioning TLo to produce an adjunct to Sausage Friday called “Skinless Sausage Saturday”. ; )

        • sekushinonyanko

That sounds a bit too much like a circumcision joke…

          • Rand Ortega

HAHAHAHA! Works for me! We could make it a competition.

    • JauntyJohn

It must be a trick of the camera angle or something, but that footwear looks like clown shoes, proportionally speaking.
In general the camera loves him, but these shots leave me meh.

    • MilaXX

Pants a hair longer than I like, but I’m more distracted by the lint on the suit.

      • mjude

        thank you!

      • Fordzo

I was imagining it to be dandruff.

        • MilaXX

those would be some colossal flakes.

          • Kikishua

            It was raining.

    • PastryGoddess

John Travolta was at the same event and my what a difference it was.

    • ailujailuj

…you know what they say about boys w/ big shoes…
      big… feet.
have no opinions (except I don’t understand why men can’t do something about the shoe fuckery (laces/tongue sabotaging the break in the pant) but I will say that what is devastatingly engaging about him is his perfectly honed gaze. his “I just might do things to you” smirk. yum.

    • Danielle L

God I love the peek of tattoo there on his hands.

    • Bethany Roullett

For a second there, I thought there was a new Skarsgård brother.

    • TheAmericaness

I’ll say objectively he’s handsome but subjectively from my perspective he doesn’t do anything.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

      Helloooooo, you dapper darling.

    • JP

Now THAT is a man who knows how to wear a suit.

    • formerlyAnon

      Pretty fella.

    • d4divine

      That man IS FINE!!!

    • stellamaris73

Trousers are a bit too long, but he’s always impeccably groomed and turned out. Bless him.

    • ‘Becca’lise Deveaux

      My my he’s handsome.

    • stephbellard

Overrated. Never got the appeal. He always looks like an idea of what a handsome guy should look like, but not someone who excites my nether regions.

    • Beardslee

He always has such a nice twinkle in his eye.

    • marlie

I’m not a Becks fangurl, but DAYUM that man can wear a suit. It’s not perfect, but an “off” day for Becks is better than some other guystars’ best days.

    • Jessica Freeman

Really loving the polka dot shirt and tie. Handsome, as always.

    • Sunraya

Interesting shirt. He dresses very well. I am not a fan of tattoos, so I like him covered up more rather than less.

    • Perigee

I didn’t think that much of him when he was young, but damned if he isn’t like a fine wine. Actually, more like a side of beef. For my viewing pleasure, dry aging has improved him immensely. I don’t know if Posh dresses him, but in general I really like his style when he dresses up.

    • Janet B

Love, love, love the polka dot shirt.
      Hate the beard.

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

NECKBEARD, Mr. Beckham. FOR SHAME. Posh should strap on her best dominatrix outfit and give you a spanking. Go get her. I’ll wait.

    • Jai Piper

      does he have dandruff?

      • Kikishua

        Rain drops

    • Pennymac

Mr. Beckham gets a most news worthy pass on the neck beard from this BK. The sexy twinkle in his eyes more than makes up for it. And the peek of tattoo at the wrist? Totally says badass to me. Which, though mightily immature, I find exponentially attractive.

    • AnnPopovic

I just adore him SO much…but if he starts playing American footie I swear: we’ll be OVER, Becks! You hear me? OVER!

    • quiltrx

Ooh, my kind of SASSAGE! (thank you Adventure Time for the fun pronunciation)
It’s funny…Beckham always manages to knock whoever’s my current wallpaper image clean off. See you later, Johnny Depp at the TLR premiere.

    • Imasewsure

      Love that shirt!

    • demidaemon

Now this is a man who knows how to wear and suit. YUM.

    • PeaceBang

Damned if he isn’t getting a Sean Connery-ish vibe here. Look at the twinkly eyes.

    • jmorino08

I just came from the Channing Tatum photo and literally breathed a sigh of relief at this. He is a stunning specimen of a man, clothed or otherwise. And I just noticed how big his feet are. No wonder Posh wants to keep making babies with him! All that practice!!

    • TheAmericaness

No matter whether you like the suit or not, there is no doubt that that is one finely honed athlete underneath. Dayum!

    • jjfg

Like him or not (I’m neutral – he plays soccer so he falls into the “whatever” void for me), man can wear a suit.

    • Nicole Little

Can we all stop saying ‘skoosh’?

    • Daktari100

The sexiest banker of all time?

    • Anplica Fiore

Shave his neck & I’ll take two of him to go!

    • librarygrrl64

The sleeves are too short (both shirt and jacket) and he needs to shave his neck. Everything else is acceptable.
