Cover Boy: Drake for GQ Magazine
Drake gets all summer-suave dolled up for GQ.
Drake covers the July 2013 issue of GQ magazine photographed by Mario Sorrenti.
On his father: “My father is an incredible man—charming, talented, and stylish—and I’m sort of living the dream he had for himself. But his actions served as that reverse role model for me. There are a lot of things that I don’t ever want to do. I don’t want to miss years of my child’s life. I don’t want to put a woman on a roller-coaster ride.”
On his life: “I wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve told bits and pieces of it—and I’ll tell more. Maybe because I had friends who grew up in the hood, I could have acted like I had, too, and perpetrated a different lifestyle, and it would be eating away at me because it wouldn’t be the truth. I’m actually here in front of you living the truth. I wake up in the morning and my heart is light, man. It’s not heavy. I don’t have skeletons in the closet on their way out. This is my real age, my real name, my real past, and I’m good with that.”

God bless a man who can wear a semi-tight pair of white jeans. Not sure we can get behind pairing them with a leather jacket, but we have to admit, he’s pulling the look off. Not loving either the cover shot or the other picture, but that last shot is hot as hell.
