It’s cute. Where is Rooney Mara when you need her?

  • Unfortunate on Ms Mamet. Dittoing @nannypoo:disqus.

    • Katrinka Stewart

      Fancy meeting you here!

  • enid soto

Did she go there straight after her afternoon nap? hair is a mess.

  • Girl, you’re at work, a smile is not too much to ask.

    • Monabel

I see why you say that, but if I had to choose, I would select a good hair brushing. People are very apt to tell women to smile.

      • And I do get that, absolutely. When it is one’s chosen profession to be in the public eye, and to a significant degree, personable, a smile is not unreasonable. I ask the same of all those sullen boy stars, too.
Oh, and I totes agree about the hair. Grin

        • j_anson

I think it’s one thing to rag on stars (of either gender) who ALWAYS look sullen (like KStew at certain points of her career). But does this girl really have much of a history at this point? I don’t think I’ve ever seen her before (although I get why she’s featured here now.) I think everyone gets a down day or two.

          • ballerinawithagun

She was on a season of Mad Men during Peggy’s “artistic” period and she is David Mamet’s daughter. She was very serious on Mad Men. If memory serves me, I believe she played a lesbian artist.

      • kerry noodles

She is not a civilian on the subway, she is working.

        • tereliz

I don’t want random strangers telling me to smile after I just finished 8 hours of work and am just trying to get home, but if my job description included looking good in publicity shots (while wearing free clothes, no less), I would want to look good. And I usually look better if I’m smiling (but just a little one, not those big, face-crinkly smiles, lol), so I would smile. I realize I’m not Zosia, but there you go.

    • aeb1986

im sitting at my miserable desk job making no money. if I can get up the will for a smile CERTAINLY so can she. also- a hair brushing

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

Just saw what you wrote. I posted too soon! I so so so so much concur. She IS at work for chrissakes.

  • HomeOfficeGirl

Hmm… interesting. I like it. She’s quirky enough for this to be credible. Not too many others could pull this off.

  • alyce1213

Very cute outfit. Now go to the ladies’ room, fix your hair, and come back with a warm smile please.

  • Plin

I really like the outfit, and think it works on her. It would work even better if she didn’t look as though she’d just rolled out of bed, quickly slapping on some lipstick and mascara in the car on her way over.

  • She either needs medication or she needs someone to shout at her, “Smile! You’re alive!!!”

  • Insidiously

The entire cast of this TV show always look really pretentious and “NYU College Student – I’m better than you!” to me….

    • geans

      Yes! Makes me crazy.

    • alyce1213

Having been an NYU student (albeit many moons ago), and having worked at and lived around NYU many years after, I know exactly what you mean, and I take no offense. (But they’re not all like that, of course.)

      • Insidiously

Oh, I totally don’t think all NYU college students are like that. I just know some people who went to NYU who dress, act, and seem EXACTLY the same way as the cast of “Girls.” It just rubs me the wrong way, but sorry for the generalization.

        • alyce1213

No apology needed, and I know you know they’re not all like that. But there are many that typify what you’re saying . . . omg!

    • Sobaika

      Nailed it.

    • Melissa Brogan

It’s honestly part of why I have no interest in trying the show, even though I might like it.

  • Meg0GayGuys6

I like this look a lot. The smug look on her face totally ruins the charm of that shirt and pair of shoes.

  • Jessica Freeman

Considering the fashion disasters she is capable of, I will overlook her un-brushed hair and give her an attagirl for looking nice.

  • Dam_Angel

What a whimsical outfit! She looks great-if only a hint of whimsy would reach her eyes.

  • SewingSiren

She doesn’t give a fuck. In the way that only those born into wealth and privilege can.

  • mjude

i love it, have no idea who she is.

  • Jennifer Coleman

Cute outfit but those eyebrows are killing me.

  • All that love and yet no love for the cameras. Always the stern one.

  • Anniebet

Yawn worthy. The rubber bands on her wrist didn’t get a credit.

  • hughman

The newest cast member of Mametschanz.

  • Snailstsichr

Was she attacked by a hairbrush as a child? I can’t understand why she never seems to have any familiarity with a brush and how to use it.

  • scrappy1

I kinda like the dark lip, although in the last pic it looks a little too bright.

  • rkdgal

There’s some sort of cutout at the ankle — is it a heart? I shudder if it is so. Her mannered “I’m so above having to try to look good” would work if she wasn’t on a f-ing red carpet, where it’s her JOB.

  • JasmineAM

I LOVE thick eyebrows, but hun, those need some taming ASAP. I get that she wants to look like she doesn’t give a fuck about Hollywood, but you put makeup on and you are wearing designer clothes. If you have a gay, which I’m sure you do, you should fire him ASAP for not doing shit about your ridiculously wild eyebrows.

    • Gwyndall

She may be going through that awkward phase where you’re trying to let your brows grow in, but in the meantime, they just look unkempt. I went through that recently myself. There’s no excuse for the hair, though.

    • MilaXX

The brows would be nice as is. All she needed to do is brush them and maybe use a little shadow to fill in the gaps. Her face can carry a fuller brow. This is just laziness, and part of why she annoys. If she had time to put on foundation and a bright red lip, she should have also gotten those brows done. This is deliberate fuckery.

  • marlie

The outfit isn’t bad, in that it fits her “quirky” personality. But it would be nice if she’d taken the time to brush her hair, and maybe crack a smile.

  • barbarienne

There’s a slight stiffness about the top that’s cool, but the shape reminds me of a heart, or abstracted club or spade…playing card icon, anyway. She should be painting white roses red or bending over to be a croquet hoop.

  • Whimsical outfit on a so not whimsical gal.

  • unbornfawn

This could be cute without the unbrushed cocker spaniel hair.

  • caitsheajones

Ugh, brush your hair. Also, can we please move on from the center part trend? The center part is no one’s friend. Especially not hers.

  • iheartbuffy

I like the outfit, but why does her posture/expression ALWAYS exude “I hate hate HATE being famous! Leave me alone, don’t take my picture, stupid camera man. Wahhhh.”

  • MilaXX

I seriously want to smack her and Lena for their fake “I don’t care about fashion” attitudes. You are wearing thousands of dollars worth of designer garb and want to stand there as if you are above it all. This is a cute look that is ruined because she’s too cool to brush her hair and groom her brows.
    Just stop.

    • marlie

Thousands of dollars of designer garb that they – or someone who works for them – have arranged to have loaned to the. She might as well not attend these events, or enter through the side door, or something, rather than THIS. This screams that she’s too cool for her job. Can you see someone in any other profession acting like this (and lasting very long)?

      • MilaXX

  • The top is cute, but she looks a hot mess.

  • lrober03

Glad to see she’s back to brown hair.
The black on black outfit in front of a black and black background is unfortunate.

  • sekushinonyanko

I feel like this could work if the shoes and pants weren’t so awful. It’s a cute top and I’m kind of into the grungy hair; the matte face and strong lip balance it.

  • Dibs on the shoes.

  • Janet B

Is she unhappy to be there a la Kristen Stewart?

  • Fell in love with her on Mad Men and just wish she ever looked even a little bit happy on a red carpet. Maybe if she fired her stylist and started over?

    • Spicytomato1

I don’t watch Girls but I have a permanent soft spot for her from MM, too.

  • It’s cute and looks good on her, but dear lord, honey, brush you hair!

  • Spicytomato1

It was initially a scrolldown fug for me. For some reason I was expecting it to be a mod little dress so the pants threw me. Upon second viewing they’re growing on me. I don’t hate her hair as much as others apparently do and I think the strong lip color is flattering.

  • I like the outfit — it’s cute, graphic, and playful — but those horrid shoes keep popping up for some inexplicable reason!

  • tereliz

Glad she’s getting some milage out of those expensive shoes. This look is miles above the last time she wore Honor. CUTE top. But would it have killed her to brush her hair? And maybe put a smile on that punim once in a while? (I’m apparently turning into her grandmother).

  • thecitysleeps

    I love everything about this.

  • dickylarue

Grandma was always grateful for the nice man who gave her the magic potion that made her look young for 12 hours allowing her to escape the retirement home and hit the red carpet.

  • l_c_ann

I hereby nominate her for worst hair of the week.

    • conniemd

My first thought. I never could get past the hair to decide if I liked the clothes.

  • guest2visits

She makes me tired just looking at her. If she brushed and groomed her hair and her brows; they might lighten the look. The hair really needed to be swept into something nicer to match the sharpness of the clothes.

  • ThaliaMenninger

Hate the hair. The pants are too long. Love the top. So… She gets a C- from me.

  • j_anson

There is no freaking excuse for this. I’m so sick of looks that scream “I put 3 hours of effort into making it look like I do care how you think I should look!”

  • demidaemon

So sad. Did she have a bad day or something?

  • Cute…on a four year old!

  • stubbornthoughts

    Depressing as fuck.

  • This would be a really cute outfit if everything above the neck didn’t scream “FUCK THIS NOISE.”

  • Qitkat

This outfit is a playing card.

Can’t any of these “Girls” stand up straight?

  • quiltrx

Your outfit is adorable, but you’re standing there as disgruntled as Alanis Morrisette in the 90s. Cheer up.

  • H2olovngrl

She is on my irrational hate list. I got nothin’-

  • Anplica Fiore

Wow – she is REALLY happy to be there!

  • ballerinawithagun

    Love this “Mod” ensemble.

  • Not applicable

I can’t. I just can’t get past that she’s a little ‘hollywood’ brat– with her connected parents…So, when I see her smug look in all her photos and I just sorta want to slap her.

  • kaycem

    zosia is so my fave.

  • librarygrrl64

Love the outfit and the shoes, but, lordy, she needs some styling tips.

  • I’m all for big, natural brows, but the patchiness of Zosia’s is really distracting for me.

  • kimiakay

She looks great here. Such a difference from last time. Who knew? The clothes fit her and the colors complement her skin, as does the lip. Nice!

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

She looks like someone whom I would not want to get to know. Everyone gets to be tired and have a down day, but if this is your chosen career, then allowing yourself to express your down day in public is costly. I am unimpressed by sullen in most people anyway. If you are feeling sullen, stay inside.
