    Fabulous color!

  • MoHub

Close up that décolleté, and I’d be a lot happier. I’m being distracted by the 270-degree boobage.

    • Colin

Ehh, I think that’s less to do with the actual aesthetic elements of the neckline (which slims and elongates the upperbody to balance out the floor length volume of the lower body) and more to do with your western-specific standards of decency

      • mightbewrong

Wait, you’re gonna make this about ‘the west’?

        • http://twitter.com/DarthJaeda Jaeda Laurez

          I know, right? LOL
          Underboobs for liberty!!!

        • H2olovngrl

Hey, I’m from “the west” and I think everyone (men, women, children, small animals) should have the right to go shirtless. There. I said it. If she wants to wave her under boob flag high, I say let her! Lol!

    • sojourneryouth

I agree with you. I think it’s not so much that she’s showing a lot of cleavage as the fact that it isn’t flattering, and I’m not sure seeing underboob in the plunge is a good look. The dress seems better on someone less busty, like the model.

    • VicD

It looks so much better in the side shot where you can’t see all the cleavage (last picture). It lets one better appreciate the gorgeous color of the dress on her and the perfection of the ruby accessories.

    • Targettaste

I think her dress is about to have an “opening ceremony” for her boobage.

    • barbarienne

I dunno, if I could get a dress to make my tits look like that, I would wear it every day.

    • http://profiles.google.com/sauchih Sau-Chih Feng

The Chinese are always desperate to prove that they have breasts. I know because I am Chinese. If you ever see an East Asian woman sporting obvious bosom, it means they’re as real as that substance no one can believe isn’t butter. Not to say that East Asian women are all flat, but the ones with real bosoms don’t flaunt them as much.

  • Donna Tabor

What a shame for that glorious silk taffeta to get wet in the rain. Gorgeous dress, and beautiful woman wearing it.

    • NiseiShonagon

Agreed! The lovely color and unfortunate raindrop stains grabbed my attention so completely that I had to scroll back up and look again once I saw the boob comments, because I didn’t notice them whatsoever the first time around.

  • http://www.champagnerising.com/ heather adair

she is just Really. Really. Beautiful.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Lucía-Gavello/1253586868 Lucía Gavello

      Seriously!

  • MoHub

Yes. A very unusual shade of green and one I’m quite fond of.

  • SewingSiren

I love the color combination of the jewels and dress. It would be far more fabulous with less exposed breast……….and rain.

    • 3boysful

Agree. Also, the model’s version seems to have a little self-tie at the waist, which I wish she’d kept.

  • http://www.facebook.com/fiddlecub Kevin VanOrd

Love the makeup, the ring, and the clutch; one of the few cases where getting matchy-matchy actually works. And I love the shape, even with so much boob front and center, but the color is confusing me. I either love it or I hate it, and I can’t figure out which it is. I *think* I love it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=149100065 Virginia McMurdo

Granny Smith Green and I love it all.

    • Guest

      Basket of apples realness….

  • j_anson

    I kinda love this.

  • Missy Covington

I love the first pic where she’s all: “Ugh, rain. Rain is so unfabulous right now. I thought I told my minions to make sure THIS DIDN’T HAPPEN!”

  • OrigamiRose

    Stunning.

  • RebeccaKW

Love the dress. She’s beautiful. That ring, though. I need that. begins Googling for an inexpensive copy

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Right? How many karats is that monster ruby?

      • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

I’m gong spinel, or possibly pink tourmaline rather than ruby. But still, it’s HUGE.

      • http://viridianpostcard.blogspot.com/ viridian61

        Many.

  • jetpackdino

I am loving that shade of green. Perfect spring color!

  • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

I suspect I will stand alone on this one, but all I’m getting is a very pretty Asian Scarlett O’hara.

    • MoHub

No. I saw Scarlett as well, but in a very, very good way.

      • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Even with that dash of Mae West thrown in? I love the color of the dress, her skin is milky perfection, and the ring is to die, but the baby heads and silhouette are pulling me back from full on love.

        • MoHub

Well, that was my reaction to the dress itself, not the fit. I definitely wanted that neckline more closed up.

        • MoHub

Also, you’d never have gotten side- or underboob with Mae West. It was all about depth on the top side.

      • MikeW_Vegas

I was thinking that exact thought.. although Miss Ellen’s portieres were a darker green and it’s missing the yellow tassels. :)

        • MoHub

          And the curtain rod.

    • Paigealicious

I immediately thought Scarlett O’Hara too!

      • http://profiles.google.com/dorothymichael Dorothy & Michael n/a

Looks like lots of us did! I didn’t read the other comments until after I posted mine. Great minds etc. etc.

    • KateShouldBeWorking

      Serving curtain realness.

    • omg_dora

If I remember correctly, this dress is from the Ulyana Sergeenko collection inspired by Gone With the Wind.

Edit: yes, see the style.com link at the bottom of the post.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1316070988 Roey Thorpe

As a girl I read Gone with the Wind multiple times, and there was a description of an apple green watered silk gown that I loved to imagine. That’s the first thing I thought of here. (Although “watered” means something different in these photos.)

  • http://twitter.com/Glam_Dixie Glam Dixie

I wish it did something else in the boob area, but otherwise I think she looks gorgeous. I want that ring!!

  • Lesley

what a fabulous dress and such a perfect color for spring. she carries herself with such poise and class – beautiful!

  • Paigealicious

Stunning gown, but maybe a bit heavy on the babyheads?

    • YoungSally

She was thinking — Fan – I’ll show you some Bing Bing!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000393765005 Garcia Loca

I’m not reading babyheads at all — they’re not pushed up.

      • Paigealicious

Well…pushed together babyheads, then? It’s not obscenely pushed together, though.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

I immediately thought “I didn’t realize she was THAT well-endowed.”

  • zenobar

This (with a less plunging decollete) is my fantasy second-wedding dress. Someday, I shall have a frock of moss-green taffeta.

  • MarTeaNi

Someone constructed the hell out of that bodice. If you can’t wear that color with that much décolletage in France, at Cannes, then you can’t do it anywhere. What a stunning woman.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=713709401 Randy Noak

    Stunning.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000393765005 Garcia Loca

Gorgeous; I’m glad she didn’t go full-Scarlett with the bonnet like the runway version.

  • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Uh Oh, Fan Bing Bing has a fabulosity rival!

    • alyce1213

Ms Zhang was misidentified as Fan Bingbing by some members of the press when she first appeared on the RC in this dress, then it was corrected.

  • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

She looks gorgeous. Shame the rain is leaving spots on the dress though.

  • porter

My first thought was curtain dress/Scarlett O’Hara. Very pretty!

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

Stunning gown, but she’s a bit well endowed for that top. It looks nice on the model, but Zhang turns it into border line vulgar.

  • Kimmu

She is serving seriously fierce Scarlett O’Hara realness and I love it

  • http://profiles.google.com/dorothymichael Dorothy & Michael n/a

Visions of Scarlett O’Hara (although the boobage is extreme in this dress)! Simply fabulous dress.

  • Janet B

Something about the runway look made me think Scarlett O’Hara.

She looks beautiful, the dress is gorgeous and the jewelry is drool worthy.

  • mshesterp

I think it’s amazing with two fixes–the belt on the model, which I love, and less cleavage. Besides that, she looks on her game. Frankly this seems to fab to get the TLo whiteboard treatment!

    • MilaXX

I agree the belt should have been included, but I don’t mind the cleavage.

  • Crystal

    GOR-GEOUS. I love that color.

  • Deedles

I like this one MUCH more than the peek-a-boo back Ulyana Sergeenko that Fan Bingbing wore the other day.

  • ItsDicey

No doubt my husband would GREATLY appreciate this, but I wouldn’t even bother to ask him what color she was wearing.

  • MilaXX

I’m mad the rain dared to fall on such a beautiful sight.

  • Anniebet

Gorgeous gown, unusual color, but too low cut. It takes away from the awesome. She’s lovely of course.

Is it just me or is the red jewelry clashing with that green? That ring is pretty astounding. Wonder what the stone is.

  • Angela_the_Librarian

A bit too boob-tacular but otherwise she looks stunning!

    • conniemd

Yes, boob-tacular, but the boobs are even-proportioned unlike so many low v-necked or strapless dresses where it looks like the boobs are wandering away from each other or aligned unevenly.

  • http://thishotoldbroad.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

I’m glad she didn’t go for the Scarlett O’Hara in repurposed draperies look that the model evokes. I like this. I think she looks stunning.

  • nannypoo

She looks beautiful and the color is amazing, but her boobs are distracting and I’m guessing painful.

  • crash1212

Too bad she didn’t keep the belt – that would’ve made this perfect. What a glorious look. I’m mad at the rain though.

  • TSkot

    Glorious!

  • http://twitter.com/Nancer Nancer

I hope I don’t offend anyone, but… I am not gay, or a man, but I swear I just did the gay gasp at this! :]

  • Pennymac

This is a hard color to wear, isn’t it? But she is rocking it. I love the purse and ring, and wish the belt had been kept, but I really like this.

  • jmorino08

    That is SOME neckline!

  • scrappy1

Stunning. The decolletage works, I think, because her skin is so beautiful and the overall look is so classy. The accessories were a stroke of genius.

  • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

It’s a shame they didn’t have a canopy over the red carpet. The hem of that dress is just ruined.

She’s gorgeous, though. Her entire look has a very 40s actress vibe to it. I approve. Even with the boobage.

  • http://twitter.com/ms_smartiepants Beth Mellone

It sure exaggerates the overall effect of melon, however.

    • drdarke

Am I the only one reminded of the dress Carol Burnett wore in the GONE WITH THE WIND parody…?

Since I don’t want this comment Moderated out of existence, just Google “Carol Burnett Went With the Wind Curtain Dress” and watch the video that comes up first – you’ll die laughing!

      • H2olovngrl

That skit is the best! I love how the cast can barely contain their own laughter!

  • http://twitter.com/TMamBo Therese Bohn

Antebellum with super cleavage! Love the color.

  • Nariya

They look… kind of like cabbages. If the neckline were higher, the dress would lose its interesting aspect, but with her chest, it’s just all a little too… round in there. Girl, that’s your color, and you are beautiful, but I don’t think this that’s your neckline.

  • SassieCassy

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1582777135 Melanie K. Morgan

WOW, That is frickin how it’s done. Love it, love the gown, the ruby clutch, the hair, the makeup. Wow.

How is this not a WERQ?????

    • charlotte

      Because boobs.

  • http://twitter.com/commish24 commish24

Am I the only one hearing Carol Burnett saying “I saw it in the window and just had to have it”? Love everything but the shoulder puffs. Wish she’d kept the belt. Big props for making this dress work–it takes a pro!

  • ballerinawithagun

Fabulous! Look at that construction in the bodice! I love green.

  • siriuslover

She’s a beautiful woman in a beautiful dress. Such a shame the bottom was soaking wet.

  • pookiesmom

WERQ and a half. Love this.

  • http://twitter.com/Lily1129 Lily

I LOVE that dress. It doesn’t fit her correctly in the waist, though. But the color is fantastic on her.

  • Jessi03

Gorgeous. That is some magical corsetry keeping it up, as well.

  • Sara__B

Flat out gorgeous, rain-drenched hem, unusual color, and all.

  • alyce1213

THAT’S how you do boobalicious! Plenty, but no toooo much, and the rest demure and ladylike.
What a dress, what color! I love everything — hair, accessories, face.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=603005248 Jeff Warhurst

It shows a lot of character that she dragged it through a puddle, lol.

  • Renaissance_Man_ATL

    Gorgeous!

  • Molly

She is the Dita von Teese of China. Stunning. (shame about the rain, though!)

  • decormaven

Whoa, the dress is fitted to perfection, and I love the color. This definitely is a show-stopper gown.

  • CommentsByKatie

I wish this were Fan BingBing. She would have killed with this dress, styling, and make-up. This woman is lovely but she’s not pulling it off like the BingBing. Also, I’m not sure this look works with her ample bust – too distacting.

  • TheAmericaness

That ring is real, isn’t it?

  • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Very cool. I am a sophomore at the School Of Tom & Lorenzo’s Fashionable Observations so anytime what pops into my head is correct, I am tickled. All though, this one was fairly obvious.

  • guest2visits

Unusual color is stunning on her. Can’t imagine why the gown wasn’t lifted off the ground until she bypassed the puddle!

  • pattycap11

    ooh

  • barbarienne

The structure at the front of that dress is…impressive. I don’t know anything about how such things are constructed, but I had no idea it was possible to push boobs up and in without having any physical structure in the middle, and still have the dress remain on the body. And she looks reasonably comfortable in it–bending at different angles and raising her arm. Seriously, I have to imagine there’s armor under that fabric.

Fantastic color, fantastic dress. Even the rain spots and wet hem just make it look more edgy and cool.

    • Gwyndall

Yeah, the way the dress is cutting into her cleavage, I’m guessing there’s some serious steel reinforcement/boning in there!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002718877231 Bert Keeter

Stunning everything! Color, fit, hair, makeup and the right accessory… A friggin huge ruby ring!

  • LaSylphide

Finally, somebody wears an actual COLOR! Fabulous everything.

  • quiltrx

I has a sad for the rain spots! The dress is very becoming on her. That sure is a lot of boobage, but at least she seems well ‘adhered’ and it’s not going over into vulgar.
    And…RUBIES! My birthstone.

    • http://twitter.com/cornekopia Shawn EH

Somebody please get Yuqi an umbrella!

  • ankali

Love the jewelry and the clutch, matchiness be damned. Not sold on the color of the dress, hate the cut — whorehouse Scarlett O’Hara.

  • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

I find the dress too tight and low cut to truly look elegant, but the jewelry is delicious.

  • H2olovngrl

I love this. The red accessories are to die for! What a beautiful and striking color combination.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1180174329 Elizabeth Phillips

Is anyone else thinking Scarlett O’Hara?

    • PinkLemon

my thoughts exactly. i was gonna say – ‘scarlett o’hara called. and she was like DAAAAYYYUM, BITCH?!!!’

  • http://twitter.com/Chucko78 Chuck Barthelme

Is it just me, or is she channeling Dita Von Teese here? Successfully so, I might add. Va va voom.

  • kalisa

All I can think of is: TARA.

  • http://twitter.com/RaankyRaank Raanky

Looks great from color to drama to shape, but her boobs look like they’re under attack…

  • http://www.facebook.com/conysoledad Constanza Álvarez Espinoza

WERQ!!! Even if there’s too much boobs.

  • http://viridianpostcard.blogspot.com/ viridian61

I am coveting that clutch, and I don’t like clutches normally.

  • librarygrrl64

Not crazy about the neckline, but that color is STUNNING, and great on her. It’s a shame it must have been raining (I saw drops on Fan BingBing’s gown, too)

  • Jake

I don’t love or hate the split pea soup color…the boobs are WACK though. She is GORGEOUS.
