Neckbeard, and that white shirt looks cheap.

  • Silly Grrl

The tie bugs a little bit (too wide, maybe?), but the rest is quite nice!

  • marlie

I have all sorts of love for this. I love the vest, I love the tie, I love the pattern of the suit. It seems like it fits just about perfectly. He’s not clean-shaven but he’s nicely groomed… LOVE.

  • Insidiously

He is smoking hot….like SMOKING hot. Unff. There’s this broody, dark sort of personality to him that I adore

    • Seriously. I think I’m going to have to have a Luke Evans movie marathon SOON.

      • Kristin McNamara

What’s he even in?! I make no exaggerations when I say that I can’t recall EVER seeing this man’s [decidedly attractive] face before, nor heard his name. Someone fill me in so I can get in on this marathon! He’s in enough shit to have a MARATHON, really?! I’m so there.

        • marlie

Check out his IMDB page. He was in the reboot of Clash of the Titans, the Immortals, and the Three Musketeers version with Orlando Bloom.

        • He has a good part in Tamara Drewe!

        • lovelyivy

Seeing him shirtless for long periods of time was hands down the best thing about The Immortals.

  • yummo….

  • MilaXX

it’s a male WERQ for me

    • maggiemaybe

    • MissAmynae

please, please let this be a rebirth of the beautifully cut, three piece interesting patterned suit. one of those rare trends that would be glorious if it just stayed.

He looks like the love child of Matt Damon and JGL. delicious, and perfectly put-together.

  • Fantastic! He looks absolutely yummy. Hubba-hubba!

  • Who can argue with that?

  • Lesley

why do i not know who this is?! sexy and well dressed, please tell me he has a British accent….(drooling)!

    • misstressofsylar

you’ll know him soon enough as he’s been tapped for the lead role for The Crow..poor Hiddles, he wanted that role soo bad

  • Nicely done,Bro!
Show the other lad stars how to present themselves publicly.

  • titaness25

Ohhhh…the beauty. I think he looks really well put together. Dapper even.

  • random_poster

    Werq it!

  • Sarah

He looks a million times more classy than the movie he’s stumping for. He needs to get over to Merchant & Ivory production’s RC with that outfit.

  • GIMME.

  • JauntyJohn

Minor points off for the neck whiskers, but overall, sublime.

  • Diego!

This is the guy who declared himself gay and then went back into the closet, right? He looks nice, but he is a chicken 😛

    • Amelia

How does that even work? I would assume that once you announce that you are gay that no one is going to believe you if you suddenly say you are actually straight.

      • Anne Heche.

I’m not about to go on and on about why one does or doesn’t identify as whatever, and what those labels mean (because I have no firsthand experience in that respect), but I have a female friend who made a Very Big Deal about coming out after college, but then 10 years later somewhat suddenly said “just kidding,” and married a guy. She was happy back then, and she’s happy now, so, whatevs.

      • formerlyAnon

I think our society – the media – whatever – pushes people without an exclusive gender preference to declare one. Plus we’re all kind of raised to think our preference is going to be be exclusive, just the way we’re still almost all raised to expect we’re going to be heterosexual. Hence, apparent flip-flopping. Ambiguity is uncomfortable – sometimes most of all for those who are experiencing it.

      • Diego!

I found a link where everything is clear, he has a cam4 account as “bisexual curious” WTF… Go to famewatcher. com and search for yourself. It’s a pity somebody has to live in a lie due to their agent’s will. I feel very sorry for him. 🙁

    • MilaXX

      he did?
      okay just checked wikipedia.

      • Yes. Maybe pansexual is too big a concept for wikipedia?

But apparently he is playing my favourite character in The Hobbit so I don’t mind what he does in his personal life.

        • MilaXX

I feel ya’. Still a male WERQ for this look

          • Yep. Let’s get back to drooling over him.

      • Diego!

He did! And went back to Narnia, and there he got this fabulous suit! You WERQ this suit Luke! 😛

    • What does that have to do with anything?? Leave him alone! He’s a great guy that’s all that matters.

  • Tatiana Luján

A vest that isn’t too tight! this is great, he looks hot.

  • Best thing about this look..which I like is that it is well fitted….not just an accident!

  • Erica_Vuitton

I’m fascinated by that pocket square arrangement.

  • Kate4queen

    Well hello!

  • sado

  • He looks very good. The suit is well-fitted and the colors suit him extremely well. I wish the tie were different somehow, though. I can’t quite figure it out, but maybe something with a different texture? Or a deep aqua color? I just don’t know.

    • Winter_White

      Totally off-topic @ Lily:

It’s a shock each time I see your avatar! I’ve been addicted to Danish movies for years, largely because of Mads. Cannot wrap my head around the fact that he’s in an American network TV series!! I don’t watch Hannibal but my husband does…and he indulges me by calling me in to see all of Mads’ foodie scenes. 🙂 (Also, he dragged me to the TV to watch Mads kill Anna Chlumsky with a dark, almost tender, embrace. What a scene.)

      • I’ve been a fan of him for several years and was SO EXCITED to get him on my tv. He’s great in the role. Did you know he does all his own knife-work in the kitchen scenes? Just another reason to love him 😀

  • PrunellaV

The vest looks a bit like a corset. I like it.

  • Sit. On. My. Face.

  • alyce1213

I had no idea who he is so I looked him up. Welsh, 34 yrs old.
And now I love him, his cheekbones, his hair, his creases, and everything he’s wearing.
But he should have shaved his neck. Minor flaw.
(Whoever did his pocket square is a genius. The details . . .)

  • Alyssa

Near perfection! And in that one picture, he’s teasing us by playing with his vest…making my imagination venture into dangerous places while at work!

  • JimMcC

    A) He looks PERFECT; B) I need to have sex with him ASAP; C) I’m really over people saying “neckbeard” and assuming it has negative connotations.

    • Here, he’s completely well-groomed. Doesn’t bother me a whit.

  • 3boysful

It bugs because you see more of it than you ordinarily would because of the very low cut of the vest. Still not sure how I feel about it, but he looks pretty hot overall.

    • Maybe that’s it. I couldn’t put my finger on it.

    • That vest seems to call for a bowtie perhaps?

  • crash1212

So, he “dresses left” as they say? This is pretty close to perfect.

  • Loretta

The wide-tie/low-vest combo is working against everything except his face, which…. is incorruptibly hot.

  • Nice but… I don’t like the vest cut like that. It’s more of a formal cut isn’t it? I am not a fan. I also don’t like the napkin swan sticking out of his pocket.

  • kimmeister

The wide opening of the vest is throwing me off. It almost looks more like a cummerbund or weightlifting girdle than a vest.

  • zenobar

Little bit of a Clark Gable-as-Rhett Butler thing going on here, yes?

    • YES. Ugh. That’s probably the reason why I can’t stop looking at this guy (In a good way).

  • I LOVE the lower cut waistcoat. THIS is a WERQ for me 🙂 Love the entire look

  • decormaven

Unusual cut of a vest, but that’s some fine-looking material. And the model ain’t half bad, either.

  • Gloriana Reginata

This? You can get closer to perfection – but rarely, rarely. I love the wide cut on the vest, but would have liked a slightly more interesting tie to fill that gap: same colour, just more pattern, maybe. Otherwise…he’s fitted and textured to my heart’s delight.

And what is it with Luke Evans anyway? He’s a guy who should have been a superstar yonks ago, and yet has landed up in a sad train of awful films in which he was pretty much the best thing. (He was second lead against John Cusack’s tired performance in “The Raven”, for instance.) I hope his appearance in the F&F franchise pays off for him: it might be unlikely to garner huge critical kudos, but the series is – rightly – popular, and it would be lovely to see the exposure shoehorn him into better parts.

  • jennifervney

  • heatheradair

I’m kinda transfixed by the sort of man-cameltoe.

  • I’ve got minor quibbles but I can close my eyes and get past it.

  • I think he looks terrific in that suit but I do wish he’d worn a different tie.

  • formerlyAnon

Nice. Not my favorite suit of all time – the scooped front vest gives it a fuddy-duddy “weskit” impression in [and probably only in] my mind, but nice. I do wish the neither-beard-nor-cleanshaven thing would go away.

Also, I hereby swear I will go at least 6 boy-posts without whining about shaving habits. It will be good for my character.

  • Hetha Innis

What is going on with the fit/tailoring in the CROTCH? It looks like a pleated crotch. Just strange.

  • MoHub

Love the deep dip on the vest, but the tie needs to be narrower.

  • I don’t know who this is but he is GORGEOUS. Also, it would do him good to lose that oddly cut vest.

  • ankali

Not so into the low cut of the vest, and there’s too much product in the hair. Minor complaints, though, because otherwise he looks so dapper!

  • quiltrx

(sidebar: I know it’s not his fault, but I’m all angsty and stabby about this Crow remake. It was the ‘right movie at the right time’ for me, and I’m VERY sentimental about it and that time of my life (I’m nearly 42, btw). It should never, EVER be remade. I fear it’s going to be quite lousy…and I only really fear it for the backlash that might come Luke’s way.)

  • ItsDicey

Well, helllloooooooo there! Quite nice. The fit is a bit questionable in places, but overall it’s quite lovely. YUM. Appreciate the effort.

  • drdarke

Oh, I SAY, Old Scotch&Soda – how goes the commonwealth, what?

Elegant and handsome as fucking Hell – that’s how you wear a suit.

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

The vest is troubling. It looks all whooooop and U. It makes the tie look ill placed. Perhaps if her wore a bow tie?

  • Renaissance_Man_ATL

WERQ! As an aside, is the shirt pale pink? I don’t think it’s white.

  • I feel like that waistcoat would look better on someone a bit more…girthy than he. A few more buttons and less of a swoop would look better.

  • kirkyo

He demonstrates superior skills in the use of hair product.

  • librarygrrl64

Not sure how much I love the deep cut of the vest*, but, wow. BEAUTIFUL suit, seems to fit him well, and it’s accessorized nicely. Extra snaps if that shirt is actually a pale pink. Hard to tell.

*in agreement with MoHub for suggesting that a narrower tie would have done the trick

  • 9.5/10, but what a good effort wasted on a premiere for yet another F&F film in the terrible franchise.
