Kruger and Jackson in NYC

Posted on May 09, 2013

Darlings, we make no excuses for the lack of fabulosity in the following pictures.

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson seen walking together in SOHO in New York City. Diane is wearing a Rag & Bone parka.

They’re adorable, we’re gown’d the fuck out, there are little hats involved, and they’re wearing matching Vans. It’s all so fucking cute we’ll be peeing sunshine for the rest of the day.

They look like a bajillion other decently dressed young couples. Nothing to complain about, dammit.

      • marlie

I like that they’re wearing “normal people” clothes, and can look good doing it.

    • gabbilevy

She’s going on a city safari, he is king of the hipsters. Their feet are in a completely different fashion universe. And YET. Adorbs. Screw them both.

      • j_anson

Nah, his jeans aren’t tight enough to be king of the hipsters. Baron at most. They are cute though, aren’t they?

    • Lily

Cute and comfy. I love the hats. Very jaunty 😀

    • tereliz

LOL at the matching Vans. They are just adorable.

      • ballerinawithagun

That was the first thing that caught my eye!

    • Kate Andrews

I love his hat. And of course the Vans!

    • annabelle archer

“lack of fabulosity” ???? Au contraire, this is all kinds of fabulous. They are my favorite couple. She’s so fun and edgy and he’s so Pacey and they are just so.

      • l_c_ann

They look good and not silly. Silly photo ops are not them. That in itself is enough.

      • marlie

        “He’s so Pacey.” YES.

      • drdarke

Well, I think “Peter” rather than “Pacey”, but then again I wasn’t a big DAWSON’S CREEK fan but I loved FRINGE, so….

They are gorgeous normal people – and so long as she stays away from Coachella boots with shorts, they’re wonderful.

You’ll need some penicillin if you’re peeing sunshine! Love the parka.

I wonder if they work so well as a couple because he willingly lets her dress him upon her whim. Because if I tried to get my husband to wear matching shoes he’d laugh at me and then probably boycott pants for a week.

      • RebeccaKW

My mom wishes my dad would let her dress him. Not so much for the matching clothes as for the non-embarrassing ones. It is a constant struggle to keep him from leaving the yard (like going to Home Depot or the gas station) in either sweat pants with cargo shorts 2 sizes too big over them (winter) or an old swimsuit one size too small and a white t-shirt undershirt with holes in it (summer).

        • random_poster

I’m cringing. My heartfelt sympathies to Mom.

          • RebeccaKW

I forget about it sometimes, and when I’m home, I’ll say something like ‘he’s not really wearing those white sports socks with his loafers to the restaurant is he?’ and she’ll reply ‘i got him to wear real pants, let’s not push it.’

            • MasterandServant

He must be friends with my Dad. I remember when he used to wait for me at school event, like wait to take me home, and I had a friend say once, “who is that homeless man over there?”. Yeah, that’s my dad. He has a problem wearing warmup pants and oversized sweatshirts wherever he goes. Sometimes with a newsboy type cap. Occasionally in the winter, I bundle up in oversized pj pants and hoodies (in my apartment only!) and my husband goes, my goodness are you turning into your father (I am a girl!).

            • RebeccaKW

Yea. It’s one thing if he’s doing yard work, wear whatever. But he never understands why we get so mortified when he wants to go to town that way. “My butt’s covered, isn’t it?” is his favorite reply.

        • Emily Smith

oof ouch. My husband lets me choose/buy all his clothes but this is within reason. He has the right to veto items so I know better than to bother trying to get him in to certain things.

    • jetpackdino

Hatness! I love the hatness of these photos. The world needs more.

    • Angelo

Proving that it takes a lot of money to look like a hipster.

    • MilaXX

      Normal folk look. I approve.

    • marlie

It’s official… Diane Kruger always looks better in casual running-errands clothing than when she “dresses up.” There. I said it. And minus the Vans, this is what my boyfriend looks like on the weekends (including the hat, though usu with regular jeans), and I love it. :)

Also, it’s pretty simple, but I want her jacket.

    • lobsterlen

He is always so neat and pressed looking. even casual. neat and pressed.

    • carnush

Her hat is to die. And I always respect a girl in Vans. Super cute.

    • Shawn EH

I like their essential sameness whether in New York, Paris, Canada …

    • Kim Elmore

      Anyway to find her sunglasses?

    • Joanne Abrams

      Be still my heart!

    • Pamela Hunt

What, no hand-holding? How soon the bloom is off the rose….

    • Raanky

I live in LA and recently was walking up Bedford Ave in Beverly Hills when who do I see, but Joshua Jackson. Boy looks homeless in person…

    • CarolinLA

I don’t get it. I don’t get why these two get any kind of attention AT ALL. Neither is involved in anything particularly interesting. They’re OK as actors (she was fantastic in Inglorious Basterds FOUR YEARS AGO). Both are attractive but nothing to stop traffic. Do they just have the best publicist in the world?

    • Qitkat

I’m imagining the guy on the sidewalk saying to himself, who the hell are these ruffians the paparazzi are getting so excited about?

    • kathrineb

Awww bringing back the vans :) haha!

    • Ann VerWiebe

      Matching shoes? Ugh.

    • Supernumerary

I love me some Jackson, but have long assumed that he’s just the perennial accessory to Kruger’s outfits.
