Interesting how now that it is spring – we’re seeing people all covered up. Not a fan of the bangle – looks like pills.

    • Vickiefantastico

I think it’s so nice of Bill Cosby to allow Jaime to make his sweater into a dress.

      • Patricia Gillett

        You win!

    • http://www.twitter.com/allforusophia AllForUSophia

      Love her!

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Love it. This is my favorite kind of maternity look; fitted, edgy and with no tummy cradling poses. Only quibble is the white at the top of the collar, it’s chocking me just looking at it.

      • AlisonS

I was just sitting here thinking “Isn’t she pregnant, she sure doesn’t look pregnant”
I love that she’s keeping to her style. We’ll see how this changes as she is more with child but she looks great. the RZ bangle was perfect.

        • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

I always wonder how long it will take the lady stars to lose the high heels. In my imagination, they take the photo then slip into flip flops as soon as they are inside.

          • AlisonS

I’d totally want a job as the girl whose only job it is to stand at the end of the red carpet and hand lady stars complementary $200 flip flops by Michael Kors or the like….

      • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

I don’t know if I’d call this a maternity look – she’s barely showing, if she’s actually showing at all. The model has the same amount of “tummy.”
I like the look though. I love a loud pattern.

        • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

          I see it differently ; )
On the model is see pouching and puckering, and as Pennymac said, a wonky fit. But JK has just the right amount of “tummy” to fill it out.
I too love a loud pattern, on other people, I am a plain Jane.

      • j_anson

Oh, so she IS pregnant? The dress is doing a similar drapey-stomach thing on the runway model, so I was thinking it was just bad tailoring.

        • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

Strangely, I think her pregnancy *saves* the dress from the bad tailoring.

          • j_anson

I have to think some very smart stylist was looking at that runway show and thinking, “sometime soon I’m going to have a client who’s early-stage pregnancy will be PERFECT for this dress…”

        • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Profile shots are undeniable. Saw one somewhere else and thought “CUTE”.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=678337501 Carla Axtman

She looks like she’s wearing a priest’s garb while being dipped in Willy Wonka’s candy dye. And not in a good way.

    • Meg0GayGuys6

haha I thought the bracelet looked like batteries.

    • Pennymac

      YIKES! What a wonky fit!

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000905542323 Rhonda Shore

that’s exactly what i thought yet everyone else seems to love this look. I also don’t like the hair color.

      • lrober03

The way she’s turned in the first pic, I was hoping it was kind of an off-center slit (and that it would fit properly from the front view)

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000393765005 Garcia Loca

OMG love, except the asymmetrical fit.

    • http://twitter.com/Nancer Nancer

Hate the hair, and the fit is problematic, but everything else gets a big resounding YES! Love that bracelet. And the print is really gorgeous!

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

GAWD that’s hideous. And I hate the pursed lip expressions.

    • Diego!

I love it. She looks amazing and those shoes are FAB! I really really dislike her hair tough

    • Sara__B

I like the dress and she wears it well, but this look says “fall”, not “spring”.

    • dschubba

I don’t care for the accessories or the hem, but the rest reminds me of how much I’ve always wanted a garment made from that “Low End Theory”/”Midnight Marauders” print.

    • Judy_S

I do not like this dress, because it makes me wonder if she is pregnant, instead of knowing she is.

    • zenobar

      Fuckin’ Peter Pilotto.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000905542323 Rhonda Shore

i’m starting to despise him…must to avoid!

    • Nariya

I think it would’ve worked with the hair up.

    • ampg

I think this looks great. Of all the interchangeable blonde actresses out there, I find her to be the most forgettable, but she’s actually quite striking here.

    • lrober03

I’m digging the hint of blue eyeliner.

      • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

        I do too, surprisingly enough.

      • sweetestsith

I’m not quite sure I like it, but it is perfectly done! Lovely little wing.

    • crash1212

I like this. That’s a killer cuff, although I’m not totally buying its deployment. Fierce shoes!

    • http://twitter.com/kawadjan kawadjan

      She looks great.

    • MilaXX

It’s hard to see against this backdrop, but I kinda like this. I’m not crazy about the bracelet over the sleeve, but that’s my biggest quibble.

    • SewingSiren

Odd dress. It looks good on her, but the way it hangs at the abdomen looks kind of weird. Apparently she’s pregnant. the model wouldn’t be though. Other than that , it looks good. Her hair on the other hand is the mess.

      • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

I think she is pregnant, which works in her favor. On the model, the dress seems to have all this (unintentionally) loose fabric in the stomach area, and it doesn’t look right. It still doesn’t fit Jaime perfectly, but it seems to fit her better than it does the model.

    • http://www.facebook.com/richiXcore Richard Robilotto

I like the dress, but the hem is not sitting well with me. She has crazy lady hair, and the bangle is weird. I go back on the forth on the shoes, though.

    • random_poster

Went back and forth on it, and decided that she’s pulling it off. It’s not an easy look to wear.

    • Julie Fountain

I’m starting to feel about Peter Pilotto the same way I feel about Stella McCartney.

      • mmc2315

For me, it’s the 3P’s: Peter Pilotto, Prabal Gurung, and Proenza Schouler.

I’m almost guaranteed to have an intense negative reaction, so much so, that I get them all confused.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Julie-Chase/731391326 Julie Chase

Exactly. So many of the fabrics are so close, but the cut or the colors OR the melding of too many competing patterns makes a lot of his stuff failures.

And I love the cuff, but not with this dress.

    • maggiemaybe

That’s exactly what my migraine headaches look like.

      • Kate4queen

        mine too :)

    • Qitkat

Methinks Peter Pilotto was inspired by a Gay Pride Parade. In a good way.

    • TAGinMO

Eek! That’s some head-to-toe fug, right there.

    • Imasewsure

“Jaime King in Peter Pilotto” sounded like a total train wreck… don’t love it but it isn’t a wreck by any means. Dig those fierce shoes but not with this

    • Anniebet

Where’s her race car? Oh, never mind… she’s darling here, and I do love the bracelet. It works for me. The dress doesn’t.

    • demidaemon

This is probably the least offensive Pilotto dress I have seen lately. I still think that print is pretty hideous and the high neck does nothing for her.

    • conniemd

Wow a Peter Pilotto dress that doesn’t make my eyes bleed. I do like the Rachel Zoe bangle, but it looks odd over the sleeve instead of on bare wrist. Couldn’t figure out what it was from far away.

    • nannypoo

Ish. It’s ugly on the model, too, so it’s not her fault.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1401197785 Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

Love the shoes and the makeup, but that’s the only positive things I can say.

    • http://thishotoldbroad.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

I stand by my certainty that Pilotto designs on crack. What is going on with the midsection of that dress? It looks bad on both King and the model. The bangle is wasted here.

    • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

I love this so much because she isn’t cradling her belly. She knows we know! And she looks good. Many congratulations to her.

    • Sunraya

I love the dress but must say that is one ugly bracelet!

    • Crystal

Why did it have to be a turtleneck? Why??

    • http://thatswhatthemoneyisfor.wordpress.com/ lizlemonglasses

Cannot keep up with these ladystars. First thought: This is not Kate Bosworth?

    • Melanie

She looks better in that than anyone has a right to. I love the jewelry and the eye make-up.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=535548244 Kim Baker Vidas Davey-Irvin

do not like wonky hem. and the dress would be so killer with a straight one, either just below the knee or a few inches above it.

    • Patricia Gillett

Cute idea but a bridge too far. There was no need for that hem when there were so many other design elements going on, plus the busy print. Also, this does not read as a dress you wear in May.

Bless her for braving those shoes while pregnant, I have no idea how these lady stars do that!

    • NYCGlamourpuss

Way too much look – it’s repetitive, yet it’s all over the place.

    • quiltrx

Hm, a Pilotto I actually mostly like! I think you have to have an Iman-level neck to pull that collar off, though. She looks pretty and happy, can’t complain.
And darling, we certainly don’t expect you to wear the dragon-lady heels when you’re preggers!

    • http://www.facebook.com/candice.booth.79 Candice Booth

I adore her hair, her dress, her makeup, her shoes, her jewellery as well as her nails. Divine.

    • barbarienne

How do you have crazy-crotch on a dress? It’s not just because she’s pregnant. Even the runway version has something weird going on there.

    • ItsDicey

What sort of hiddy whatfuckery is this? NO.

    • Kirsten Kirsten

This fits her better than it does the runway model, but only marginally. The high collar and the bangle are really awkward. Love the shoes.

    • http://profiles.google.com/sauchih Sau-Chih Feng

Unrelated, but my first impression on seeing her name now is also “JAIME THE KINGSLAYER oh wait, this is an actual person, not a character….”

    • librarygrrl64

      Hideous dress, fried hair.

    • Jake

      I thought pills too!

    • Jake

I LOVE this dress, just absolutely not on her.
