I’m just thrilled we’re seeing the return of jewels on the red carpet!

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

And that is some serious stuff she has around her neck. Dayum!

        • Sobaika

Amrapali is incredible – not necessarily something I’d wear to a premiere of The Hangover, but gorgeous pieces.

          • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

All you hadda say was emeralds, and I was on board for this one.

          • alyce1213

I’m familiar with Amrapali. The metal here is silver, and it’s quite likely that the “jewels” are green glass, not emeralds, because real emeralds you don’t put in silver, you put them in gold. Which is not to say this isn’t totally gorgeous and expensive. But it’s not what they (used to) call ‘important’ jewelry. So, it works for The Hangover.

            • Sobaika

Not sure on the specifics of the necklace, but I don’t see Mughal-inspired jewelry and think of The Hangover – or Heather Graham, for that matter!

            • alyce1213

I guess I’m not that strictly theme-oriented. Can’t imagine what I said that would get 3 down votes! That I thought it was ok for her to wear it at this premiere? That it’s not a $500,000 emerald necklace? Is that so offensive?

            • Coolekat

You weren’t offensive but what did you expect? You’re talking to the Bitter Kittens.

            • SassieCassy

hey now, the bks are a friendly bunch! but i can never tell what the downvotes are supposed to mean though. i think its like a general ‘i disagree with this’ and not a ‘this was a terrible offensive comment’

Hair. So. Heavy. Can’t. Hold. Head. Straight.

    • Clueless_Jock

Is there a rule against matchy jewels?

      • Monabel

        I hope not.

    • In_Stitches

I love her, but it’s a big ol’ meh. The dress is painfully standard and the necklace is a bit too grand for it. The one shoulder hair is…fine. It’s all just okay.

    • http://twitter.com/janedonuts Jane Donuts

Very Hollywood, right down to the coke-fueled expression.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000905542323 Rhonda Shore

i thought adderral, but you’re probably right!

      • blueberrypanckae

my first reaction was just that…she does’t look right !

      • StillGary

I hate to be unkind — but I was thinking that girlfriend needs to back off the Botox,

      • drdarke

Is it just coke that’s causing that grisly rictus, @Janr Donuts? I figured Heather Graham was auditioning to play The Joker in the next Batman movie!

That face will replace Balok from STAR TREK’s ” The Corbomite Maneuver” as The One Who Haunts My Nightmares….

    • marlie

She looks fabulous. Sure, there’s nothing groundbreaking about the dress, but it’s a gorgeous color, and it fits her almost perfectly. I think the necklace is “too much” for the Hangover # opening, but that’s just me – it looks gorgeous anyway. My problems are from the neck up: I’m not in love with the mermaid hair, and her makeup isn’t doing it for me. I especially loathe the bubblegum pink lipstick.

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

I think she was going for old Hollywood glamour, but for the first time I’ve ever seen, just managed to look old. And I don’t really know how. Clearly her face is taught, her boobs are perky and her figure is darling, but the whole thing together seems matronly.

    • http://twitter.com/omg_dora Dora K.

Pretty. I like the necklace. The makeup seems unflattering, but regardless, I wonder what she would have looked like had she let her face age a bit in the last 20 years.

      • Anplica Fiore

I was just wondering how recently her work had been done. Looks pretty new to me!

    • Caitlin O’Brien

Love the gown, she is rocking that body. Hair just ok. I think an updo would have been more fitting. Not a huge fan of the pink lip, but makeup is fine.

      • http://twitter.com/omg_dora Dora K.

If necklaces are back, might updos make a comeback too? I miss ‘em.

    • Deb Oswald

What is with the crazy eyes on some of the pix?

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1401197785 Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

She seems to do that a lot and it never fails to make me laugh.

      • filmcricket

I think that’s just kind of how she looks. Her eyes have always been big and wide open – it’s like Renee Zellweger got nothing and HG got a double helping.

        • TheAmericaness

I always kind of hoped that Renee Zellweger and Richard Gere would get together and have kids just to see if their kids would have eyes at all.

          • makeityourself

            Ok, that made me chortle.

      • sweatpantalternative

She looks like she’s on meth

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000393765005 Garcia Loca

And that, my friends, is a movie star!

    • Diego!

OMG… she looks like a blow-up doll! WTF is that sight? #Scary

    • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

      She certainly looks wide awake.

      • zenobar

Okay, I snorted coffee when I read that. Thankyouverymuch.

    • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

Other than that incredible necklace, this is kinda zzzzz for me.

    • MilaXX

I think this is pretty. Nothing extraordinary, but everything fits and looks good on her. My only quibble is the hair needs that dime sized application of leave in or pomade to help with the fly a ways & frizz. Otherwise, good look.

    • Louise Bryan

Her hair is dragging her head to one side.

    • l_c_ann

The necklace should be saved for something other than Hangover III.

The dress fit is perfect (shame that is isn’t true 80% of the time on the runway.)

    • http://www.facebook.com/seelebrennt Christina Diaz

SHE IS SO WIDE AWAKE. talk about getting ‘freshened up’.

    • jw_ny

That necklace is way too ostentatious and mature. The dress is pretty enough….ok color for her. Not memorable tho. And I’m so over the mermaid hair trend. She also seems to be be suffering from a severe case of Nicole Kidman forehead.

I do love me some Rollergirl tho…although you wouldn’t think so…lol.

    • erinbinek

      Gorgeous. Full stop.

    • jetpackdino

Her hair is triggering my OCD. I do not like hair thrown over one shoulder like that.

I love her smile and general attitude in all these pics, though. She always seems so genuinely happy and sweet, and from what I’ve heard from people who know her, she that’s the way she really is.

    • crash1212

Nice look. Finally a Legere dress that one can breath in. Not crazy about the hair and she really needs to be more aware of what her face is doing while posing for pictures. Altogether…pretty.

    • MoHub

I didn’t even catch the necklace at first. I was distracted by the inside underboobage.

    • decormaven

It all just feels too arranged, too forced. I’m feeling tense just looking at her expresison in the second shot.

    • lamamu

Virgins protect your blood! Heather Graham has clearly been sampling it. Day-um, she looks young.

      • LondonMarriott

Right?! I’ll have what she’s having.

Also it’s freaking me out – if you made it white and changed the neckline to a halter, that’s my wedding dress for next year.

    • Tracy_Flick

Gorgeous. But it seems more like an Oscars look, with that necklace.

Why does she look so… surprised? Oh. Right.

    • El Bee

Wouldn’t Jane Fonda look amazing in this?

    • RedRaven617

The neckline didn’t seem to do any favors for Sharon Stone yesterday, but here on Heather is looks so much better with a necklace to fill some of the space. I love the necklace, but it has no sparkle to it. Based on other comments I’ve read I guess that is the difference between real diamonds/emeralds vs. Sworski (sp?) crystals.

    • Coolekat

Are those her real eyes or is she wearing those contact lenses that make them appear larger?

    • http://www.champagnerising.com/ heather adair

she and wino-forever have the “just pinched somewhere inappropriately” eyeball thing going on these days……

    • SassieCassy

wrong route for a hangover premire, this is pretty glam, wrong hair in general

    • Patricia Gillett

Dress and jewelry look good though a bit over the top for the premiere of a sequel to the Hangover.
      They also deserved better hair.

And for the love of Oprah, what is so damn surprising at the other end of the red carpet?

    • jilly_d

Crazy eyes. Also, would it feel weird to anyone else to get gussied up in thousands of dollars worth of clothes and jewelry to go see….The Hangover pt III? just me?

      • http://twitter.com/carelessriver Caterina Maria

It feels weird that anyone bothered to make a Hangover Part III. Or a Hangover Part II.

    • http://www.facebook.com/bert.keeter Bert Keeter

Love the bodice treatment. Someones been doing some research in the Madame Gres archives?

    • anotherkate

      Beautiful. Boring. Next!

    • Jessi03

Well she’s looking very alert in her bridesmaid’s dress!

    • JP

She looks good, albeit a bit too dressy maybe for a film premiere? It’s not an award show or film festival…

Love the necklace, wish she had worn her hair up to show it off more.

    • barbarienne

Dear Heather, Your DNA gave you spectacular, big eyes. No need to try and open them EVEN WIDER. That just gives your crazy-eyes. Your natural beauty is sufficient to blind most mere mortals; just relax and enjoy.

      • conniemd

Yes, her wide open eyes were scary looking to me.

      • guest2visits

Thought the same – reminds me of the dolls whose eyes would open and close depending on how you tipped them.

    • VAz Fashionista

Some of the comments do not make sense, you say her dress is to dressy but she should have an updo? An updo would make it to dressy …emerald green is the color of the season the dress and jewels were fabulous …what were other attendees wearing, maybe she was dressed appropriately for the evening, make up on point for the season…the look perhaps it was the botox and filler over done

    • PLH

I was going to say that color looks amahzing on her but somewhere in the line of pictures her dress changed from teal to green. Now I just think it looks just good.

    • demidaemon

All I see crazy eyes, especially when she smiles. Oh, there is a dress here? Pretty color, but kind of blah.

    • guest2visits

At first I thought she looked just beautiful in this – and she does, but I think there’s also a bit of a hardness to the color,
almost a bit dated. I just don’t picture Heather in hard looks.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=603005248 Jeff Warhurst

She has crazy eyes. I love a bitch with crazy eyes.

    • librarygrrl64

Pretty gown on her (and surprisingly tasteful), but the jewelry feels too heavy. The hair is meh.

    • E. D.

The necklace seems too detailed for the dress, but that’s my only complaint.

    • kimiakay

That is one gorgeous necklace! The dress is beautiful too. I just can’t decide if they go together, even though the way the neckline is shaped should be perfect for the necklace. Maybe it’s style? Maybe it’s the subject of the movie? Either way, she’s killing it on the RC.

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

What a lovely gown. Why does Heather Graham always look terrified?
