      Breathtaking.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Julie-Chase/731391326 Julie Chase

      Gorgeous. She’s so dramatic.

    • http://twitter.com/skitzfiggitous skitzfiggitous

She was engineered by robots. There is no other explanation.

    • http://profiles.google.com/anplica Anplica Fiore

Shutting. It. Down. I’d have liked a less orange lip, but that’s my only quibble.

      • gabbilevy

Good color for her, but I don’t think it goes with the dress. But I can see others disagree.

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

I have decided something. Fan Bingbing is the first entirely digital actor. There is no other exanation for her relentless perfection.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Lucía-Gavello/1253586868 Lucía Gavello

She’s been expertly photoshopped into life.

      • Nonmercisansfacon

        She’s an actress?

    • VioletFem

So beautiful. I especially love her lipstick color.

      • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

I wrestled with how to feel about it. In the end I came away with loving it, because it’s such a contrast to the soft, yellow, nearly ethereal feel of the rest. I do wish she changed her nail polish.

        • AmeliaEve

I actually liked the polish a lot. It’s the one really modern touch and keeps it more young and fresh.

          • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

I love the color in general. I just can’t help but feel it’s a left over from her Louis Vuitton look and not going with her soft yellow/bright orange play of colors.

        • VioletFem

I just loved it because it is so different from the more expected bold red or bright pink, but still works well with the overall look. Plus, I have that exact same shade of lipstick and I absolutely love wearing it :)

        • sweetestsith

I love it because it contrasts with the yellow, but has shimmery/golden undertones that work perfectly with the yellow. She looks AMAZING!

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000905542323 Rhonda Shore

        and her nails!

    • jw_ny

gorgeous per usual, but that lipstick is searing…

    • lbl

She hasn’t been very interesting this year.

    • Diego!

      WERQ!!!!!!!!!!

    • charlotte

      Bingbinging it.

      • jenno1013

This needs to be its own category.

    • http://www.facebook.com/beccalise.deveaux ‘Becca’lise Deveaux

I love her neon lips and spider eyes…she looks faaaaab!

      • RL McGruder

That 6th pic stopped me in my tracks. GAH! SO. PRETTY.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

This is the Bing Bing we’ve come to know and love. Minus that lipstick girl.

    • Sobaika

Magical fairy princess! She’s so lovely.

    • Crystal

      Freaking gorgeous.

    • SewingSiren

It is a very mature gown. On anyone else it would look dowdy. But on her it is a fresh breath of spring. Well done .

    • Beardslee

I’m getting a Mannerist vibe from this, like the proportions are off. The skirt seems too long unless she is wearing stilts under there. I got the same feeling from Casey Mulligan. Lovely lovely dresses but just a bit wrong.

      • Monabel

Now, to me, a Mannerist vibe is cause for celebration.

    • Judy_S

That dress seems to me to be a waste of Fan Bingbing. She is so amazing and the dress is pretty darn boring. It looks like something my mother would have drooled over.

    • MilaXX

I love her. This feels like it shouldn’t work yet some how does.

    • http://twitter.com/Hussified Coleen

Hate the color, and she is STILL breathtaking. No one else could wear this.

    • Deb_Lynn

      of course…….. it’s gorgeous!

    • eowyn_of_rohan

I find this pretty boring. Pretty girl, pretty (enough) gown, but nothing memorable about the look.

    • NC_Meg

Flawless. That dress is amazing and she is so beautiful.

    • mmc2315

Flawless make-up, as usual. But that dress color? Zzzzzz…what a waste!

      • MilaXX

I don’t mind the dress color because she has the coloring to make it work. On a Fanning this would look terrible. On Fan Bingbing, it’s awesome.

      • http://twitter.com/janedonuts Jane Donuts

Yeah, I can’t get behind the color either. Love everything else.

    • RedRaven617

She is gorgeous. And the hair up definitely defines her Grace Kelly gorgeousness. But the other day when she wore her hair down, I was struck by how much younger she looked. I loved that look as well.

    • Lesley

my 5 year old inner child is screaming beautiful disney princess! she looks breathtakingly beautiful.

    • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

I have to go lie down now. My brain can’t handle this much perfection in one human.

    • jen

      Bow down mothafuckas!

    • YoungSally

She’s so consistently fabulous — almost to the point of ennui — that I wonder if she deserves the dreaded “Of course”

      • demidaemon

If she is consistently fabulous, then it isn’t “Of Course.” That is saved for the consistently attention-whoring, unfabulous ones.

    • MoHub

That woman can do no wrong. I am a Fan of Bingbing.

    • TheAmericaness

What alternate reality is she from and how do you get an invite – I have a firstborn…

    • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

She’s is perfection, but I’m not fond of the gathers at the waist of the dress. It looks too bunchy.

    • 3boysful

I rather think she’s rocking it even better than the model. I love the earrings with it.

      • makeityourself

She is one of the very few who ALWAYS gets the jewelry right.

    • kaycem

      goddess.

    • luluransom

The fact that this rates only a ‘Whiteboard’ is a testament to how high she sets the bar.

    • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

How is this a Whiteboard post and not a “bow down and worship” post?

      • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

I don’t know how you came to the conclusion that the Whiteboard looks are the ones not worthy of commentary or any praise. L

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000393765005 Garcia Loca

A bit too much on the texture front for my taste, but Bingbing undeniably kills it!

    • http://twitter.com/iraki86 IraKi

I simly love this and I am surprised it is not werq-worthy!

    • alyce1213

What a dress, exquisite. The style and silhouette ate perfect for Ms. Fan.

    • Sara__B

      Lovely. As usual.

    • Janet B

      Love, love, love.

    • Pennymac

      Full on LOVE.

    • disqus_uaOApDZDpF

      Gorgeous dress. The lips clash.

    • susan6

She’s stunning, but that is not her color. It’s not a good color on the model either. That’s a tough color to pull off.

    • http://twitter.com/nyazgirl NYAZGIRL

      Perfection. *faint*

    • daisyj

Ooh, I wonder if that was some of the jewelry that got stolen? I love a good jewel heist.

    • Qitkat

A little zzhuzh in the hair, bright lipstick, statement earrings, all add up to so much better than the runway version. And of course, looking like Miss Fan Bingbing. Love her smile. Elegant and beautiful.

    • StrandedFashionista

      BOOM! What a goddess.

    • frannyprof

      Lovely

    • Tee

I hope she doesn’t get points deducted for not wearing something sexy because she really does look beautiful.

    • decormaven

Ooh, I want a closeup on that ring. Cloisonné, scrimshaw…. very interesting. This woman can work a look like nobody’s business.

    • http://twitter.com/cornekopia Shawn EH

Perfection. Anne Hathaway has hired an assassin.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Josefina-Madariaga-Suárez/100002964685796 Josefina Madariaga Suárez

I’m quite sure she’s floating above the red carpet. STUNNING.

    • Kate4queen

      she’s just so purty!!

    • LaSylphide

That’s more like it. Much better than the pink one yesterday.

    • Sally Brownson

Can I have a Fan Bingbing Barbie? I really, really want one.

    • Deedles

You know, I love the Elie Saab dresses, but I am truly saddened that she didn’t wear any spectacular dresses from Asian designers as she has in years past. It differentiated her SO much from the rest of the crew. Don’t get me wrong. A young actress who is composed, lovely and demure is a welcome change from some of the people who have been parading around lately. I was just hoping for more dresses from her that aren’t so “safe.”

    • crash1212

      Perfection.

    • snarkykitten

So much nicer than that other dress. Not sure about that lipstick shade, though

    • http://www.facebook.com/CameronETurner Cameron Turner

L.O.V.E. this dress…. is the color off in general or just not right for her?

    • PeaceBang

Even Fan Bing Bing in something I don’t love is still a vision of total loveliness. You can’t buy that kind of elegance. Unlike so many of the other lady stars who look like they’re playing dress-up on the RC, Fan BB floats onto it as though she spends all day in flowing gowns. I just hope to god TMZ doesn’t ever find a photo of her in sweats going for a Cheetohs run to a 7-11. It would crush me.

    • anotherkate

She looks lovely. Although I’ve said it before and will say it again: she is better suited to a cooler red lip.

    • fishmermaidman

more like “Jaune et Jolie,” amirite

    • poggi

She looks amazing, but what kind of shoes is she wearing under that? She looks impossibly long-legged.

    • CommentsByKatie

Love it! This is back to our regularly scheduled BingBing. Not as amazing as some of her best, but still wonderful.

    • http://twitter.com/commish24 commish24

Threads! Threads on the hem! Otherwise, her usual wonderfulness.

    • butterflysunita

      Stunning.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

Just gorgeous. Fan Bingbing does pretty, pretty princess. The lipstick is a little too orange, but I don’t really care, because the rest is just so lovely.

    • Nariya

      Bingbing is back! Love.

    • KayEmWhy

      Perfection.

    • nycfan

      That woman is absurdly beautiful.

    • http://twitter.com/ThisMersLife Meredith

I’m a little stupefied. She’s got a delicate olive skin and she’s pulling off a YELLOW. What? Jealous!

    • http://twitter.com/kawadjan kawadjan

I’m tired of her heavy eye make up.

    • carnush

I love that her eyebrows are natural and perfect.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1582777135 Melanie K. Morgan

She is breathtaking. My only quibble is the orange lipstick.

    • Anniebet

Impeccable. But, for me she’s beginning to look like she’s verging on the “living doll” territory that is so trendy in Asia.
      That much perfection is scary.

And yeah, she’s perfect in every way. That dress is sumptuous and stunning, just right for her.

    • demidaemon

I prefer this look to her other Cannes look. So ethereal and perfectly styled.

    • http://www.facebook.com/pamela.hunt.796 Pamela Hunt

Stunning except for that hideous lipstick color.

    • sekushinonyanko

The “color” of this dress is murdering me, but her face is so pretty it’s easy to get over it.

    • silaria

Every time I see her, I wonder how one woman can be so consistently perfect in every detail. And then I remember that she’s basically China’s living national treasure. She probably has a fleet of attendants dancing around her for hours before every public appearance.

All of which is to say, sigh. She looks fabulous.

    • http://www.facebook.com/conysoledad Constanza Álvarez Espinoza

She’s a eternal WERQ for me.

    • http://twitter.com/Eovaai Eovaai

      She is perfection.

    • NYCGlamourpuss

FAN-fucking-tastic! (You see what I did there?)

    • SorayaS

      Goddess

    • quiltrx

Now, just look at that second-to-last picture, and try to convince me that ol’ Goop is the “world’s most beautiful woman”.
Behind that wistful, faraway gaze, Fan is thinking, “Paltrow can suck it, and so can the rest of you bitches.”

    • ankali

No. She’s still sublime, but no. That yellow is not flattering to her skin tone, and her lipstick could be seen from space.

      • l_c_ann

In agreement on the yellow, and I wonder why the top appears to have confetti stuck in it.

    • Buffy

all the other ladystars can just pack their bags and go home now

    • Yosa Addiss

      Almost paradise!

Note to stylist- when you have the gown hemmed (thank you!) you also need to hem the underslip (it shows!)

    • ItsDicey

Only she could make this even somewhat interesting. Loathe the retina searing lip color.

    • http://twitter.com/kitchenflails Cassidy Olsen

She’s gorgeous and I love the dress (Elie Saab forever) but the yellow-green hue combined with the bright orange lip is making her look sickly to me.

    • Luna

I adore her and her whole look, but that lipstick is so eye searing that I can’t seem to focus on anything else.

    • librarygrrl64

I love this, including the lip color.
